An incredible model. My only problem with it is the roof of the AT-AT didn’t seem to be wide enough. I did manage to make a slight alteration which seemed to correct the problem.

I made this with my son and it took about 5 hours to make. Great fun and he has enjoyed playing with it since.

Ok, so I bought this to accurately recreate the battle of Hoth as featured in The Empire Strikes back. Yes, I probably have too much time on my hands, and have probably grown my Star Wars Lego collection to an unhealthy amount for an adult, but nevertheless the AT-AT is perhaps the most iconic vehicle in the Star Wars universe and so is a must have model for any fan.
Also at 1267 pieces versus the UCS AT-AT’s 6785 it can be built whilst still holding down a full-time job. Yes it won’t be to true scale as the UCS version is designed to be, but at 34cm height and 38cm length it will still dwarf the rest of most collections.
Build time is 2-4 hours depending on experience and pace, or roughly 1.5 Star Wars films, and the digital instructions via the free Lego app were perfect as per usual.
The model comes with six mini figures: An Imperial Officer, two crewman, two Snowtroopers and a Luke Skywalker (the Snowspeeder pilot version with lightsaber and thermal detonator) plus a bonus speeder bike.
The model is relatively sturdy once built and whilst the legs can be placed in a walking pose they are best left straight for stability. Both sides of the main body open to reveal five seats for transporting Snowtroopers and the rear of the body even opens to accommodate the speeder bike. I was amazed to find that the small cockpit section manages to seat both the officer and the two crewmen meaning that all Imperial minifigures can be transported to battle en route to obliterate a rebel base. They were only following orders.
There is also a hidden winch which retracts beneath the model allowing you to re-enact Luke scaling the AT-AT and destroying it with the thermal detonator if you so wish. I frankly couldn’t be bothered.
Overall this is a fantastic model, not only a good display piece but also offers great playability for kids (or adults in their 30s).
Rarely enough I would also suggest for a Lego model it is fairly priced baring in mind the size, brick count and mini figures. A must buy for all Lego Star Wars fans.

The AT-AT was the Star Wars toy I always wanted as a child growing up in the early 80s, but I had to make do with the Scout Walker with the expensive AT-AT tantalisingly out of reach! As such, I don’t know who was more delighted to get their hands on this amazing set, me or it’s actual recipient, my 8yr old Star Wars mad son!
The build is enjoyable and the resulting model is very accurate to the iconic vehicle. We were pleased to see good use being made of internal space. There is room in the main body to seat five troops, we also managed to squeeze one or two more in standing between the seats. There is also room to stow the brick built E-Web blaster turret and speeder bike (which slides in and out of the back). There is a wind-able winch which can be used to recreate the scene in ESB where Luke grapples up and destroys one of the hulking walkers with explosives. You even have the little hatch that he throws the thermal detonator in to! The winch mechanism is hidden under an opening panel at the front of the body and the string and grapple gun can be fully retracted and neatly hidden when not using this feature, so as not to compromise display options. The cockpit is openable and accommodates three minifigures, I believe this is the first Lego AT-AT (other than the UCS model obviously) to capture this screen accurate detail. The legs are articulated and can accommodate a number of posing options, so long as you account for sensible weighting. The neck and it’s attached weapons also have realistic movement.
A reasonably generous selection of minifigs are included, the walker’s commander General Veers, two imperial AT-AT drivers, two imperial snow troopers and Luke Skywalker in his rebel pilot outfit. The figures include relevant accessories and are nicely detailed as expected for Lego. They could have perhaps included a couple more snow troopers to fill out the seats, but that is easily remedied by the purchase of the recent snow trooper battle pack (an excellent supplementary set to consider).
We don’t own any of the previous Lego versions of this vehicle so can’t compare like for like, but from what I’ve read this ESB 40th anniversary model is the best yet (if you don’t count the huge, expensive and adult orientated UCS one of course!). The Amazon price for this set was great at the time I ordered (90), I’d advise watching out for price fluctuations.

Zum Ausstellen und Bespielen!
Das Set eignet sich sowohl zum Ausstellen als auch zum Bespielen. Die kleineren Features sind putzig und einfach zu bedienen, whrend der prachtvolle AT-AT es trotzdem schafft, super auszusehen! Natrlich gibt es kleinere, nicht so tolle Eigenschaften wie zum Beispiel die Sichtbarkeit einiger unschner Elemente an der Unterseite, aber diese sind nicht essenziell.
Alles in Allem ein super set fr Kinder und Erwachsene!

Only slightly repetitive when building the legs (they're all the same) but the rest uses some good techniques to achieve the shape and design of the iconic Star Wars vehicle. I recommend this for any LEGO Star Wars fan!

Alle Teile waren vorhanden. Der Zusammenbau dauert natrlich etwas aber macht auch Spa. Mein Sohn spielt seit Monaten glcklich damit. Im Spielbetrieb halten alle Teile zusammen und er steht auch sicher. Sind wir von Lego im Normalfall aber auch gewohnt.

I love Star Wars Lego so this was a must have for me, bought and it came on time, all parts were there and in the unopened box. Picture doesn’t do it justice! Only issue is that it needs a little help stabilising when first standing up but other than that it’s a fine and very nice build!

De obligada compra para todo fan de Star Wars, eso s, con sitio para ponerlo, ya que es bastante grande. Queda muy chulo una vez montado. Fiel reproduccin del visto en el film. Recomiendo esperar a ofertas puntuales, ya que es un poco caro, yo lo compr rebajado y ms barato que en otras tiendas. Es una pasada.

Ich finde den Lego AT-AT sehr gut als Produkt. Die Qualitt ist gem Lego Top es waren keine nervigen Aufkleber dabei, dafr aber einige Farbliche Steine deren Sinn sich mir nicht erschliet. Der Preis ist in Ordnung. (Ich habe es mir im Angebot gekauft), wenn das Produkt nicht im Angebot ist kostet ein Lego Stein ca. 8,5 Cent. Meiner Meinung nach in Ordnung.
Das aufbauen knnte fr jngere Kinder schwieriger werden, da einige Teile viel Fingerspitzengefhl verlangen, ich als langjhriger Freund von Lego der schon viel gebaut hat, hatte bei ein/zwei Sachen kleinere Probleme aber macht ja nichts dann haben die Eltern im Zweifel auch etwas spa am Produkt 🙂
Das Design finde ich gut es wird sich auch gut zum Spielen eignen wenn man verschiedene Szenen nachstellen mchte aber ich habe es mir als Dekoratives Stck gekauft, fr welches es sich super eignet.

Great price for a great model
This is Lego, I don’t think I need to go over the quality of the product, it’s top notch as always.
No stickers in this one, be that good or bad for you, this model just doesn’t need any. A few printed parts though, which are good quality. I do like the figures that come with it too, being able to fit 3 in the head is a welcome feature too.
I was considering getting this for some time, and when I saw it here 30 off I couldn’t say no.

Amazing AT-AT model
Really great fun to construct, took about 2/3 hours of causal build time and looks amazing. However do be careful of the leg placement as anything other than the default straight legs I found makes it much more prone to collapsing even with little force.
Amazing play features with the rear and side bays, cockpit and added rope to recreate the scene with Luke from the film’s.
Massively recommend this to both enthusiasts and fans of Lego alike.
AT AT Lego
Great addition to the starwars lego sets, a improvement on past attempts. Looks good for display, and good to play with it. Only complaint is its bit pricy to previous models, and so probably not good if you are on a budge
This has been a Lego investment I have been wanting for years. This first came out many years ago and has been in hiatus since. But now has arrived. Such a simple set to put together, mostly plates just pinned together, but in places it feels like you could easily squeeze it to destroy it. It comes with Storm trooper minifigs, nothing special there, xwing Skywalker, and a narrow fitting speeder bike to fit inside the rear. Inside there are places for the storm troopers to sit and a winch to lower the xwing Skywalker fig, al la ESB. It’s a good sized build, easily 13 1/2″ tall and 15″ long, so a sizable build, but mostly empty to save on pieces, it’s all frame.
Buy it if you don’t have the original.

I liked this set as not only is it the first AT-AT I’ve had but because I think the figures are good as well and although the snow troopers aren’t as good as the old ones. The actual build is very strong and stable however the chin guns fall off quite often. The build took me 5 hours because I’m stupid and I can’t read the instructions and if this set is on offer get it because I’d say it’s not worth the 140 (I got it on sale for 106).
What can I say it’s Lego so it’s expensive…. The Lego set is what I was expecting so all good there…… Suspect delivery driver – put it in my porch I could see through glass door he had then shut the porch door took a photo, when I was just opening front door he was retaking it back out porch….. Very strange

I love putting Star Wars legos together with my son. They are a bit pricey, but the time is so enjoyable! This Walker is still in the process of being built and is not as tedious as the Falcon so should be grand!
Our son is totally into Clone Wars and even more appreciates the First Order than original trilogy stuff. But I couldn’t resist to add an AT-AT to our growing collection, that is heavily played with on a daily basis but kept very complete.
This 1267 piece set is a great addition to our collection, And one that offers a lot of play value. The lego AT-AT has a pretty good likeness of the iconic walker. It is fairly sizeable at about 35 cm in height. Importantly, it includes a number of extra like a speeder bike, a heavy e-webb blaster and of course 6 minifigures. This combination makes the set well worth the price.
The walker has several side panels that can fold open and a bottom hatch though with Luke can throw his deadly detonator. The cockpit nicely holds the drivers and general Veers. There is a spring-loaded shooter and a winch a line so that Luke can climb up. The 2 AT AT drivers are the most pleasing figures in the set, followed by General Veers. The Snowtroopers are quite standard but vital, though I will have to order quite few more as only two were included (potentially cheap non-Lego figures). We will use Luke as a generic X-wing pilot as we already have plenty of him in this version.
The built was good, somewhat time consuming. I build it along with my young imperial engineer. There were some Technic pieces that are sometimes a little more complex for him. But in general he could progress well without much assistance from my side required. Of course as is always the case with lego animals, dragons ect. the building of the AT AT’s 4 legs gets very repetitive. On the other hand, no stickering is required.
Despite my concerns the finished model is quite sturdy and stands well on its own, the technic pieces lend it a lot of strength. Thus and it is really swell suited for the meany battle my son will involve it in.
There are a few drawbacks; as said, more snow troopers would have been nice. Also, the snowtroopers are not wearing white hip capes. More importantly, the overall model is entirely covered with studs unlike many of the modern Lego Star Wars vehicles. This could have been prevented with a more creative use of panels (the UCS Sandcrawler is a good example). And scale wise its is still a little small as a walker.
Nevertheless I’m really pleased with this set and I think the whole combination justifies the somewhat high price point.

Very prompt delivery and product looks great. But package came without any protective packaging with the postage label stuck on the product box and a dent in the box. Very annoying given it’s an expensive present!

This Star Wars Lego set is a brand new (for 2020) model of the classic At-At from Empire Strikes back (for the 40th anniversary).
The set looks fantastic, a really good model and is a ton of fun to build. The finished model is really robust and will cope with solid play.
The set has plenty of space. The cockpit takes 3 figures (2 pilot figures and a minifig of General Veers). Both sides lift out and there are 5 seats to take snow troopers (2 included) and the back opens to take the snow speeder.
The set comes with a winch and line play feature, to which you can attach the included Hoth pilot Luke figure.
The only slight negative on this one is that the price is quite high but I would say the quality and olayability makes it worth it. Overall an excellent set.
