I like it, it was easy to install, it looks great but there’s two things I’m not too keen on. It doesn’t utilise an earth and it’s just far too bright, I wish these LEDS had some adjustment but I guess for the money it’s pretty good value.
This is a really good bright light for a normal size bathroom. Fitting was a wee bit fiddly and the clip to put the light to the holder in the ceiling took an bit of jiggery pokery to make the light clip on a both sides, but all in all good value for money.

I love the final product but feel the fixing could be made easier. I used this to replace a different model of a similar size and found this one more fiddly to fit. Having said that it does look good and is perfect for my kitchen, warm light and not harsh
Easy to put up, gives a nice bright light thats easy on the eyes. So far so good. I’m very happy with it.
We have recently moved house and liked these so much we bought more for the new home.
They are easy to wire, simply push down the tab and insert the wire, then a cover over the top (only really if you need the IP rating). If you are having trouble then use a connector block to extend the cables from your ceiling. The space behind the light isn’t made to fit a connector, so push it into the ceiling void.
The brackets work well, it didn’t go on straight away with our new ceiling being artex, so simply loosen the screws holding the bracket, or use washers behind the bracket, or easiest of all just give the tabs on the brackets a little “tweak”.
Angle the light so one tab is fitted, pull the other tab (long nose pliers may help those with fat fingers) push the light up and let go of the tab.
Job done.
I want a few more, but the price fluctuates so I am keeping an eye on it for the best time to buy

Good looking light The power connections at the rear are a bit flimsy and one was broken prior to installing I’ll have a go at dismantling and fixing it myself. The thought of repacking and sorting out customs, import duty, vat and carriage is a bit off putting There are a lot of snouts in the trough these days
Had to be fitted by a qualified electrician as it was awkward to fit in the situation we have. Very pleased with the result. The light is very bright- perfect for the utility area but can’t imagine in a living/bedroom location.

I am actually very surprised by this light for the price paid as it is very good. I purchased 2 (1 for me and 1 for my Mum) to use in bathrooms. The light is diffused nicely and at a lovely colour temperature. It was extremely easy to wire up requiring only a positive and negative connection. The connection terminal was also tool free and clips the wires securely in place. It comes on instantly and goes off instantly with no afterglow that some LED products can have. Our bathroom is about 3m square and it lights it up to an excellent standard. I would most certainly purchase another if I needed to.

This is a great light fitting and well-made. It was very easy to install and produces excellent illumination. Great value for money too.
I was worried to buy this, as some people had said the wires did not stay in their housing. I found that if you stripped 10mm of bare wire, it fitted and stayed put perfectly. This is nice and bright, and a nice warm white colour. Hope it lasts a long time now before I have to replace!

We replaced our traditional kitchen light with this as we felt the light wasn’t getting into all corners. This light is fantastic, we can now see in areas of our kitchen the light didn’t reach before. The light it produces is brighter than expected which suits us well. It was also extremely easy to install and fantastic value for money.
REALLY easy to natal – well, my husband made it LOOK easy when I watched him fit them! After the first – we got 3 – he really got the hang of it and they were all completed in less than an hour.

As some have said this is a bright light, it is perfect for a reasonable-sized bathroom that does not have a low ceiling. I would find it a little too bright in a small or low-ceilinged room. That said, the light is absolutely excellent for our bathroom and makes the whole room feel fresh and welcoming.
My partner fitted the light and said that while it was fiddly attaching the wires the build quality was excellent and the fiddliness was mainly due to the neatness of the design.
Very compact fitting which was ideal as used in small shower room where the light is above the shower. Very bright white which is good for putting makeup on etc. Good price. Very pleased

Bright (blink blink) so bright. Easy to mount only ceiling with bar and tabs. Not sure about push for wiring maybe I’m put off touch but seems wider not to screw in the wire. Checked online and it’s CE and acceptable. Only gripe was the difficulty in getting the small screws down on the wire cover. Again maybe me getting old.
Don’t like the wire connector but it worked after some fiddling. You need to push the plastic ‘button’ down, push the wire in, then let the button go and hope the wire is sufficiently grabbed. Otherwise, the actual illumination is bright without being too bright or ‘white’ and does the job. Once the ceiling fitting is in screwed in, then you need to push the light onto the fitting and this involves pulling back a metal tab on each side. Found it hard to do both sides at once due to the lack of space between the light casing and the ceiling, so got one side in without pulling the tab by just sliding the casing into the side of the metal ceiling mount, then using forefinger and thumb, pulled the tab back on the other side, pushed the light up and let the tab go which then held the light in. Fiddly, but once fitted it was fine. Bought another one as a spare as with this type of light, the whole unit needs replacing.
I have previously bought several of these lights, of different sizes, to install within my house, to reduce my energy bills. They look neat, when illuminated, and fairly unobtrusive, when switched off. The latest four smaller ones, have been installed in my small workshop, and give an even spread of light. Being a tad photophobic, I prefer the warm light version, to the daylight white ones.
The mounting bracket is a separate item, which makes it easy to secure to the ceiling or wall. The body of the light is then secured to the mounting bracket, by two spring loads catches, making the light easy to attach and remove, if needed.
Personally, I do not like these modern push-fit connectors, preferring a proper screw terminal. They are better suited for solid strand wires, not multi-strand ones. However, others might find them easier to install. This connector block has 2 x Live and 2 x Neutral holes, allowing you to connect several of them in-line, as I have. But the cover that also clamps the wires, doesn’t allow much space for two 1.5mm cables. There is only room to clamp the inner cores, but not the out insulation. The cover that goes over the connector, is secured by two small screws, that are not the captive type, and can easily drop out. This can be very annoying when you are up a ladder, when fitting them.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with these LED light units, and can recommend both the product, and the Seller.

Like other reviews it was very fiddly to get the unit attached to the ceiling bracket, I used some old 2 wire lawn mower cable, using just the brown blue inner cores, it’s very fiddly, but in essence very easy. Am very pleased with the price and how bright it is …

Love the light, but I need to say thank you to the recent reviewer Andy. The instructions were very basic, and I could not get the wires to secure inside the connection. I was pushing them in, and then trying to push the connection down, and I was getting so frustrated at the wires not securing. I read Andy’s review and saw that I should hold the connection down, and then push the wires in. Upon release they would secure. I had been attempting it the wrong way round.
Securing to the ceiling was fine, and the light output is fantastic for our kitchen. Great quality item, just need to make the instructions a bit clearer.
This was the easiest light fitting I have installed, I ordered a second one to install in a very dark cellar one of the brightest lights i have installed
So after initial confusion as to how the power leads are secured I managed to work it out. There are no instructions to explain so this may help the novice sparkles out there. The plastic grip connectors look as though they are open and just need pushing down into place, this is not the case! Pull back on the clips to release them from the front housing, insert the wire and click back into place. This is the fiddly bit as you will have to bend the lug back to lock the clip back in, I used an electrical screwdriver to force it back. Why in gods name they don’t include this in the instructions is beyond me. Pleased with the brightness of the light and the basic install was ok.

Found it perfect and easy to mount. After I sussed how to extend the slide brackets by fixing a rubber band to each.
Got two of these for the bathroom and hallway. Really bright and also sleek-look really well in my new bathroom. Not sure how easy they are to install as I had someone else fit them
Good overrall. Only complaint is the brightness. It says warm white, but I feel like I now need to wear a pair of sunglasses now when I have a bath! Very bright indeed.
I like the brightness the depth very much but you must have a descent amount of cable to be able to wire it up as I hadn’t it was a bit of a struggle but would recommend

Nice light but could do with some better instructions. Comes with new type of cable connectors rather than the old screw down wire block but no instructions for the new type.
Other than that, the light provides a very powerful and good spread of light at 1250 Lumen, far exceeding the old 60 Watt bulb in a bedroom with poor natural light.
Installed as a replacement for a fluorescent type that died. Excellent brightness, light colour comfortable. (I have 15W version) and easy to install. No flickering on start-up. Time will tell whether advertised lifetime is correct – but so far so good. I was pleased with the apparent build quality, but of course I can’t assess the electronics.
The unit was very good quality and first impressions were good regarding the way it is mounted on the ceiling attachment. However in practice the bracket is too tight to the ceiling it is almost impossible to get your fingers in to pull out the mounting catch.I eventually inserted two 6mm spacers so that i could attach the light to the fitting.
Bought to replace bathroom light. It was easy to fit, hardest bit dealing with inflexible old cables.

I purchased two of these for our bathrooms. I can not comment on the installation as I had an electrician fit them both. However, the light output from this light is awesome. So, so, so much brighter than our old fitting which had energy-saving bulbs. I hope that it lasts as at the moment I am really pleased, especially for the price paid.

Bought to replace a strip light and though not quite covering the same area due to the single point of light this item looks fantastic and is easy to install, wire up and mount. Instant light and plenty bright enough as a strip light replaceme
The warm white seems a bit cool and very akin to daylight. The first time in 15 years we have seen the true colour of the bathroom tiles. I love it but my husband says it shows his true skin colour (pale).
Simple unobtrusive style, blends in with the ceiling. If you want a statement piece this is not for you. If you want light, it really is.
If it hadn’t been for the rather antiquated circuitry currently in the house it would have been the easiest job ever.
Once the current electrics were figured out, installation took literally 5 mins.
The light is so bright, it feel light we have the actual sun in the room.
I have seen a dimmable version that I am going to get for my daughters room.

This light is exactly what I required for my bathroom. It is nice and bright, but easy on the eyes. Soft light rather than harsh. I am completely happy with this product.
I found this unit tricky to install. The lack of sufficient space to positively connect each wire was made more difficult due to the lack of a positive connection procedure made more difficult when insufficient movement was available in the house wiring.
It comes well packaged and is a breeze to wire, mounting the instalation bracket was also easy, the tricky for me was clipping the light to the bracket. There are 2 sprung clips which you pull out and then position the light on the bracket, let go the clips and the light is fitted, seem easy except my average size fingers kept getting in the way of positioning the light and the ceiling. My solution was to loop a piece of thread around the sprung clip and this let me retract it while keeping my fingers out of the way, job done!
Decent bright light. Not convinced about the IP rating tho. Very easy for water or steam to get in from the back :-
One-the fact that when I put the light on the ceiling I had to get some one to help cos although I could get it into position the locking tabs that fasten it to the bracket didnt want to go in under their own steam they weren’t spring loaded,
two- it’s a sealed unit so once the bulbs has gone it’s a throw away light
but apart from that am really happy, would get this again, makes the bathroom really bright. Hopefully it will last 20 years. 8o)
If it wasnt a throw away and could be reused would be better.
Used as main light in bathroom. Despite choosing the warm light, the LED is quite harsh but suitable for this particular use. Electrician installed it very easily.
Really simple- just strip the wires back 8mm, push them in and tighten the cover. A couple of 5mm holes in the ceiling take the rawplugs. Offer the fitting up and snap- you’re away.
The warm white version gives good light- akin to a 60W incandescent.

Cheap and cheerful – these lights work well and look good on our utility room ceiling. They are plenty bright enough for a medium sized room. The electrician who installed them didn’t grumble so they must be fairly easy to install!
I found installation quite straight forward on a flat ceiling . However, as others have mentioned , if you have a textured uneven ceiling, the mounting bracket and side release tabs arrangement might give problems. Worked well for me.
Secondly, as has also been mentioned, depending on the existing house wiring, it might need to be adjusted. That’s to say, if you have an old fashioned ceiling rose or similar with the extra screw terminals to continue the lighting circuit onwards in the property. So it might be necessary to make those connections, if accessible, using a small junction box or Wago connectors above the ceiling.
Very easy to fit and is well made. VERY bright and shows up any imperfections on your walls but otherwise can’t fault it.
Have it installed in a hallway. I think the white light would be too harsh for a living or bedroom area.
This light replaced an old-fashioned three-bulb fitting when I revamped my bathroom. It is plenty bright enough for a room approximately 2m x 2.5m. I think the Daylight or Neutral white versions would have been too clinical. The fitting is neat and unobtrusive and the fixing method is logical, though in practice it was quite fiddly owing to having to work very closely under the ceiling with little room for manoeuvre. Once in place it looks good and will hopefully last for many years.
These are excellent. I put one in the cloakroom and another in the utility area. They are so bright! The warm white is still quite like daylight, not at all yellow, and I prefer it. Obviously the daylight ones would be more towards the blue end, if that’s what you like.
I was replacing two old glass-domed lights, and the fitting couldn’t have been easier – there is plenty of latitude on the hole positions so I didn’t need to use a drill at all.
They are much brighter than most of the LED bulb replacements you can get, and as for the two old “compact fluorescent” lamps I replaced, well, good riddance (The one I had in the cloakroom used to take a full minute to reach full brightness!)
Having purchased a second one of these, I’m hoping they stand the test of time. My previous ones from the same company failed under 2 years. They no longer make those and these smaller ones are the newer versions so to speak. Hoping for good things as we all need something to brighten up our night lives.
Easy to install it’s just getting the cover on as two pull clips on the top so you have to try and line it up with no veiw of what you are doing. That actually took me longer than wire it in.
But once on! Great great light so pleased. Looks more expensive than it actually was.
A bit finnicky to install and only has push in terminals for wires and you have to screw on a protective plate whilst the light dangles from those terminals but once installed looks tip top and lights the room very well. Suggestion would be to have screwed terminals.
A good and strong light, when finally fitted. You definitely will need a third hand to finish the installation. Quite tricky with push fitting and watertight cable connection box. No earth terminal needed. After my review I received an e-mail from seller to advise of :4.99 compensation for tricky installation. Very nice touch.
I have a small low-ceiling under-stairs toilet and I was thinking of putting in downlights. I rigged a couple up temporarily but they produced quite a harsh light with hard shadows. So I ordered this product hoping it would be a better solution. And it is. It’s very easy to intall, does not project much from the ceiling, and comes on at full power almost immediately, giving a nice soft (but bright) light.
As with most electronic transformers in the LED world the magnetic field is extremely high, but only very nearby the lamp. Regarding the electric field, it would better to have a conductive plate above it connected to an earth. I wish producers would spend more attention to this, for when designed correctly the fields can be really reduced to a minimum.
It seems a nice product for the price. Don’t know after 2 years of operation how it would look like, but we’ll see.
