Excellent illuminatio
I cannot speak to the longevity of the product but it is neat giving off excellent light. There are three small controls for adjustments behind the sensor that I feel is a good feature.
Well worth the purchase
Great light immitted and PIR works very well. I have installed this to the front of the house overlooking two properties. It comes on as we approach the driveway and it not dazzling to the eye – recommend this light.
What I needed
I wanted to illuminate my front path and steps and had had an issue with a solar powered light I tried, when the weather wasn’t bright enough over several days to keep it charged, and came across these lights in my search. At first I wondered if they would be bright enough, being rated at only 20W, but since other reviews said they were OK I decided to go ahead and ordered two. They are indeed plenty bright enough and besides adjusting the angle of the light you can also alter the sensor sensitivity and angle, length of time the light is on for and the degree of light before it’s triggered. In spite of the adjustability of the sensor position and angle of the light I did find it quite tricky to get it to perform just as I wanted it to but got there in the end after many trial and error sessions. Can’t comment on its durability and weatherproofing but it seems to be very sturdy, being all in one piece in aluminium, and providing the factory sealing of the power lead is good it should last well. My previous mains light from a different supplier didn’t last too long as water was able to get inside!
Bright and hassle free.
I have been using a solar lamp for some time over the bins, basically so I can see which bin to put the different items of waste in.
Recently the power has dropped significantly and varies, so I decided on a wired one.
This is the lowest power I could find and it had a length of cable already fitted. My idea was to install the cable through my extractor vent, behind the outside shielding for safety and not needing to drill through the wall.
I am already impressed with the versatility in terms of the fully horizontal positiong of the lamp, and yet the sensor can be turned to respond to movement at 80.
So pleased already.
Grea
Great little outdoor light, powerful enough for the area I wanted it in, not so much for security purposes, more to light up a very dark area on the side path of the house. Was easy to fit and works great, I highly recommend if you are wanting something simple that does the job.
Very good quality
Well made good quality 30w rated pir security light. Very good spread of light and sensor is good quality. Easy fitted with screws and rawl plugs included. The bracket could be a little smaller in size considering the light is slimline but happy with purchase.
It works as it should for now
Easy to install but say If i need to replace the light I would have to rewire the light entirely for a new one which is ashame for hassle but hope it lasts and it’s a bright white as it should be.
Excellent service
The product was delivered packaged and on attempting to set it up the buttons on it to control time, daytime/ nighttime operation were stuck and broke off rendering the item unusable. So not 5 star. However the retailers response was excellent. Upon reporting it to them they immediately offered a replacement or refund. I took the refund and it happened immediately. So product somewhat lacking but I would buy other items from thus retailer due to their customer response so 5 sta
It doesn’t work…!!
This product is useless! Which ever setting I set it to the light only works when I hold my hand completely over the detection sensor.
I’m returning it for a replacement that actually works..!!
So far so good - but need to turn sensitivity up near maximum
I bought this as a replacement for a similar (but not identical) unit that failed after around two years. Given how hostile the winter weather is where I live, that was quite good going. I bought it on the strength of the many reviews, avoiding the very cheapest.
One major plus is, due to the size of the bracket relative to the light housing, I did not have to remove the bracket to install it (unlike the previous model).
I set the timer and sensitivity controls half-way and turned the ‘lux’ (level of ambient light before it operates) down to near minimum, i.e. nighttime only. When it got dark, I found I had to stand right in front of it waving my arms to make it operate! As I wanted this to operate from movement one car’s length away, I turned up the sensitivity to maximum and now works as hoped.
As with similar units it comes with a fixed, relatively short length of cable. It is not intended to be opened to replace the cable. Hence a water-proof junction box mounted near will be required (see photo).
Minor Issue
The light itself is great, but the hole in the middle of the bracket, which I assume is intended to route the cable through the wall, is too small for the cable.
Great ligh
I’ve used one of these before so knew what to expect . Only difference from the previous one is cable was about 8 inches shorter which made fitting it not straightforward. I had expected a straight like for like swap out. My previous one was used every day and had lasted a couple of years which I think makes them good value for money.
Really Pleased
Needed to replace an old lamp where pir had stopped working. Was dubious at design because it over shines some steps overhung but a tree and I didn’t know if the detector/light could be adjusted to the right angle. However the adjustments were amply sufficient and it is doing a grand job.

Easy to fit and works really well. Fitted above my garage door and the lamp lights up all my drive perfectly when I leave or arrive home at night.
Small
When this arrived was saddened by the size. Well as they say size doesn’t matter. This is fab. The shine of the light is excellent.
The light comes on nice and quick once it’s been triggered. Very happy won’t loose the dogs now.

Lepro quality.
Used a few of these and they tend to be fairly well made and last a while. Relatively easy to install and set up. Good pricing on most of Lepro items.
No fittings
Looks good though but no fittings,. So need to buy some suitable screws and plugs
This Lepro security light looks almost identical to a Luceco product of which I’ve never had one last longer than 1 yr. However it offers a very bright light, it’s easy to install, but be aware the lead is far too short, the unit is sealed so one can’t fit a longer lead. I’ll see how long it lasts and edit this review.
Flood ligh
It’s smaller than you think, but powerful enough. Lights up an area of about 5m.
I wanted an affordable light to replace the one that broke and decided to get one with motion detection so that it turned on when the dogs went out at night.
I read the reviews and was expecting it to be small but when I opened it I was shocked at the fact it was TINY so was a little sceptical about how good it would be but was pleasantly surprised once it was fitted. The sensor pics up movement well and the light is actually bright enough to light up the whole top part of our garden which is huge so am very impressed.
The wire is a little short so was limiting to where we could fit it but apart from that there is not really anything else that i could fault.
Nice bright ligh
Purchased this to replace ones I had been buying previously that were microwave based, but unfortunately only lasted around 12 months. Trying these for the first time so time will tell.
IR seems not as sensitive or far reaching as microwave so there’s that. Otherwise so far so good. Nice strong light in a smaller unit than before.

Compact and easy to set up
