Great value! I turned the purifier on Saturday when I recieved it and by Sunday I had improved air quality. I added a little lemon essential oil and it added a small scent to the air. The machine runs so quietly I wouldn't know it's on with regular tv volume but creates a white noise that can aid sleep.

Product seems to work well. I have allergies and it may have helped alleviate allergies from dust and pollen as I recently moved into a new place this Spring. The unit is very quiet (always have it on high and still not bothered by the volume) and well suited for a smaller room, such as mine. It diffuses my essential oils well which I bought separately. Overall, happy customer.

I purchased this expressly for taking to my massage therapy sessions as I was uncomfortable being in an 8' x 10' room during "Covid" with someone who has had contact with an unknown number of people...despite being vaccinated. I place this directly under the face cradle and breath purified air (using also essential oils), to help me relax and enjoy the massage 'worry-free'. When not using it during a massage, I use it in my home office (12 X 14 size) and it performs well in that environment.

So far my machine works great. Its not noisy. On low and high, it’s like white noise. The design is simple and easy to use. Changing filters is easy. However, when using essential oils, the scent is too subtle and i wish it was a bit more.

Great quality brand. Awesome price. Easy to use. Not loud like other brands. Spot on top for essential oils. Perfect compact size for smaller room (bedroom or office). Loved it so much I returned the 2 Toppin air purifiers I purchased with this one & got 2 new Levoit ones for larger rooms (smart phone & Alexa controlled). I Definitely noticed it helped my daughter’s allergies. Get you a Levoit. You’ll thank me!

he motor is not noisy at all, it actually works as a white noise machine on high. My house is very dusty since my neighbors are doing a lot of remodeling and I live in a "townhouse" so keeping the purifier on high drowns out the noise and consumes the dust coming through the walls, yes, through the walls.

As far as I can tell it's working well. It moves the air, but of course I haven't done a sampling of the output air to determine if the filters are actually at the HEPA level. Still, it's very quite in the sleep mode and low noise in the lower level modes. Full speed is still reasonably quite, but then you are running a fan at full speed and so you hear it.

This works great! It clears a room of any odor within 30 minutes. I have inside dogs, I smoke outside but sometimes could smell a smoke area near the door, now there are no odors!! People have said, wow it smells so clean and good in here! (Even when no candles were lit!) the air also feels better, I haven’t coughed as much since I got this. Also was delivered quickly and the price on Amazon is better than anywhere else I researched. Highly recommend this for anyone that has indoor pets or smokes! Or anyone with breathing problems, or anyone like me that is a clean freak!! Great product.

So wonderfully quiet on low and sleep. I love how there is no light for sleep. Even on high it isn't too loud. Works well for our smaller office space. We use it because the office is also our bunny's home. It filters out all the smells associated with that so my husband can work comfortably in there.

It's working pretty well next to my bed in my Studio Apartment. I seem to be having less problems with my asthma. I've used mostly the higher setting because the noise isn't too bad- my refrigerator is definitely worse. I've turned it off when opening the balcony door for my dog, and immediately back on when closing it up. I'm on a busy street/lots of dust. A friend was moving into the building and liked it enough to get herself one. Overall, it seemed like a good way for me to spend some of my stimulus check and help my health. I haven't used the scent feature because of allergies.

Just got it yesterday and used it last night for the first time. Don't know if it's a coincidence or not but I didn't sneeze at all like I normally do when I go to bed. Very quiet and it was easy to assemble if you call assembling just putting the filters in. It's also very small and cute. I would recommend.

Just got mine today and right out of the box it was easy to plug in and use. There is only a sleep mode, low mode, and high mode. I Plan to keep it on low during the day and high at night since that’s when my breathing and allergies usually start acting up. So far so good! There was one review on here that said there’s didn’t come with a filter, but mind did come with one. Also changing the filters seems like an easy process, and the filters are relatively affordable. I like that you only have to change them every 6-8 months. Also, even on high mode it really isn’t noisey at all. So far so good! I will update this review in the future to talk about how the unit performs.

After purchasing these I have had an amazing transformation. I have used dehumidifiers in the past and they didn’t work nor did my allergy medicine.
This keeps my house smelling fantastic all.day long and the air is clean. So much I stopped buying tissues from Costco and use a box every three weeks as apposed to one week.
This saved me money and gave me my indoor life back due to the fact that I suffer from indoor allergies.

I like that it WAS easy to assemble but when it comes to the filters, cleaning and replacement and aromatherapy oil and the oil pad housing… you will be glad you took the time prior to assembly to know what to expect and when ahead of time. The housing is the small circle in the center (not the whole grey top. Us seniors need a separate color pointing that out. *)
I did not thoroughly read the product info before purchasing but not disappointed at all.

Very pleased with the size of the item. The noise is so quiet I didn’t even know I had them on. I purchased two of them because each room is 160 square feet. I’m really impressed. Don’t forget to register the products on their website for a two year warranty. That’s by far good customer service right there.
I got this item because I live in an old building that gets pretty dusty. Not to mention the 3 animals that we have. The main reason was for the air to be cleaner.

I wasnt sure on which air purifier to buy. On a Facebook Allergy group, they recommended this one. Its been a little more than a month and this works sooo well! I was having random sneezing fits in the middle of the night. Not sure what was even causing it but this air purifier immediately stopped it. Thank you so much for helping getting rid of the annoying sneezing fits! **It has a little fan noise to it but its calming to me when i sleep. Its not loud or obnoxious.** The only complaint i have is the bright light it gives off at night around the button but im sure theres some way to turn it off, if not its fine because its a lot less annoying than the sneezing fits...

I bought this essentially for use in the Master bedroom while sleeping, which is around 16 X 10. I like the dual filter feature, quietness of the unit, form a known Mfg and offering quick shipping. I also like white noise when I sleep so I don’t even use ” sleep mode ” and keep it on max setting. However sleep mode is VERY quiet and you can hardly hear it- if you can hear it at all. I also used this unit during the day by simply moving the unit into my home office, and that was great. The item seems to work as advertised and you can tell the difference, although I havent used any scents in it and not sure if I will, I just like the smell of the purified air. I got this unit on sale and with an extra +$ 5 off – so around $ 41 total delivered and feel it is well worth it. Also you can easily find replacement filters for it- I ordered them on here and found currently as low as $ 16.99 ( set of 2 ) and I purchased those ( X 2 ) along with the unit. Although there are a few other competitors with units that offer a few more features, I found that they are substantially more expensive and IMHO not worth the difference. If you want a unit that offers best value and does what it is supposed to do from a reputable Mfg- you found it. So far I am 100% happy with this item and would recommend.

Previous review—While I like the unit and the noise is very minimal, I only had the unit for 2 12 weeks before it stopped operating entirely. I returned it. I don’t know if it was the unit or the plug that was the problem. I ordered a new one and if it is the same problem, I will move onto another brand.

As small as this product is, it does clear the air of dust. We have one in nearly every room. The laundry room where the litter boxes are is cleaner now, it clears the dust created by the dusty litter. The closets where the lint from clothing floats in the air are cleaner now with a unit in the walk-in closets. The button turns red when it needs cleaning. They're easy to clean, just pull out the filters and vacuum them, then pop them back in and turn it on after resetting the "On" button. These are quiet and actually help with sleeping creating "soft white noise" drowning out dogs barking, loud cars driving by, etc.

This HEPA air purifier is great for a bedroom or office area. It fits well on a nightstand or on a desk. I keep mine on the medium speed setting and it does not omit a loud sound at all. The filters are very easily removed and replaced from the bottom of the device. I remove the filters once a week and vacuum them for extra purity until the recommended replacement.

Having asthma, I’ve used air filters for decades and I’m so thrilled at how small and quiet these are. The filters are super easy to replace, as you discover when you remove the plastic from them and put them back in for the first operation. I also love that I could add the filters to my Subscribe and Save items, so I will simply replace the filters in 6 months when they arrive and never forget to order new ones.
In fact, I liked the first one so much I ordered two more of these for around my house, replacing 20-year-old units from another brand. That said, one of the second two has a sort of rattle in it that gets louder (annoyingly loud to be in same room with) at the higher speeds. I did see a review that mentioned noise. If that noisy one was the only one I’d ordered, I’d be ticked. I don’t want to bother with returns, so I’m keeping it and putting it in the basement.

Amazon sent me a new one but after reading the Manuel I didn't need a new one and kept the old one. A red light when on but I didn't get reading Manual with the first one so after reading a just had to hold the button for three seconds. Good product.

I have severe allergies to dust and tree pollen. As soon as I plugged this in I noticed a difference. I keep it running 24-7. There is a slight issue however, and that is the frequency of recommended filter change. The light on the front will turn red if you don’t change them out every 6 months. And they cost $25.00 a set including tax! I refuse to spend this when it’s not necessary. I vaccuum my filters once a week and this machine does a great job of cleaning the air. But changing the filters at that rate is just another way for this Chinese company to make money. So, if it breaks because I didn’t change out the filters, ( which I doubt ) I’ll just buy another kind.
I turn this Air Purifier on every evening just as I am getting into bed. I keep it on all night at the “medium” setting and I am completely undisturbed by any machine noise. I am quite pleased with the purchase because I can finally sleep through the night — I got the purifier because the sinus and nasal congestion caused by the dirt and dust and allergens in the air would settle into my sinuses and the back of my throat while I slept. I would wakeup every night about midnight because of the burning sensation in the back of my sinus passages and throat. In order to sleep I would have to be in a sitting up position — not recommended. Now the air is clean and I am sleeping well.
Now this is a great air purifier. I bought it to replace another brand that just did not work in the living room area. I’m a smoker and with this working, you just can’t tell that a smoker lives here. Ironic, I know, but I hate the smell of smoke and this eliminates the problem.
Highly recommend for small rooms; I got this mainly because I use an e-cig and I didn’t want my cat inhaling the vapor, but sometimes I accidentally leave it on high all night and I wake up feeling less congested than usual.
Pet owners – I also notice cat hair stuck to the side of it each day, so it must be helpful if you have guests that are allergic.
The diffuser at the top was the tipping point that got me to buy this purifier (I searched the best ones for hours, and this was one of the top). I ordered essential oils for the first time and have loved the scents it puts off. You don’t have to use it if you’re not into that though.

This one is VERY small and quiet. It runs 24/7 in my daughters room. It is one of 3 Levoits we own. I prefer the tall cylinder to any of them. I can really smell the clean air with that one.

I love everything about this little purifier! We got it after reading recommendations on Wirecutter for air purifiers. My husband’s sinuses are sensitive at certain times of the year, and our GSP pup has allergies. We got this version – I think nicely priced. It’s quiet enough to sleep through. I like the white noise. I notice my husband breathes better when sleeping. It is also small enough to be discrete – we can have it in a corner or even on an end table and it doesn’t make the place look like a hospital ward. Four instead of five stars because I don’t know how effective it really is. We’re considering upgrading to a more powerful version.

I feel the difference
I recieved this product RIGHT ON TIME. I was undergoing home renovation and I restored a piece of furniture which, if anyone hs restored furniture before, the painting and the gloss that goes after can leave a strong odor for days. The Air purifier has helped alot on decreasing the odor. I also placed some essential oil drops on the top of the machine, on a small round filter and it gives it the yummiest touch.
I highly recommend this product. It has been ON for more than 4 days now, without stopping as I am really attempting to eliminate the odor of paint in my house and riding this little purifier to its full potential. So far, no problems.
I also like the (3) power modes. The noise level is not toooooo quiet but it actually helps me sleep. The sound is comforting because it’s faint.

This little guy cleared my bedroom in about an hour! I went on a trip for a few days and when I got home I noticed my room actual smelled stuffy and stale. So I didn’t need much pushing to grab a purifier. I have had larger ones before from other brands but they were always overkill for a bedroom and much to loud. This one is nice and quite on high and the sleep mode I couldn’t hear anything at all, had to look in manual to make sure it still was filtering in that mode and it does. The cost of the unit is very fair for the size and the sound. I am happy I made this choice its a winner. This product is amazing! I have a pet room that houses three guinea pigs, two parakeets and two hamsters. The hamsters and birds do not smell but the guinea pigs stink. Even as clean as I keep their fleece lined cages, with daily cleaning, it still manages to knock you over when you walk by. But to mention dust and hay that accumulates. Along came an idea to buy an air purifier and low and behold this little gem. It was the least expensive one I could find and it is miraculous! Day one, after I cleaned the cages, I put this on high. Within hours the room was clean feeling, not just smelling. Now day three/four is Usually getting pretty stinky but nothing!!!! I run it in low and bump It to high for a bit although I don’t think I need to. If you have cats or a musty room or guinea pigs, get this little guy. You will not be disappointed!!!

Great Hepa. Low Noise.
I boughy several hepa filters to test out with the intention of placing them all over the office due to covid.
I like this one best because
*dual hepa carbon filters with affordable replacements
*Very low noise even on high. Basically silent on sleep.
*The air vents pretty much straight up.
*Simple quality design with well made filters and a good seal.
The only con is that it does move a ton of air, but thats part of the low noise.
My plan is to put 4-6 around the office to achieve the desired air filtration and not be annoyed by the noise. At this price point you can for about the same money as a larger unit.
With one on the counter between the customer and I… we each have a filter pulling some of our exhaust through with fresh filtered air going up rather than blowing towards anyone. THIS WON’T STOP YOU FROM GETTING RONA… but it has to be better than nothing and makes me feel better.
Hepa has been proven to filter the vector carrying the vid, but opt for uvc if you want better protection. Research ozone dangers with uvc tho.

This is by far, the Best Investment we’ve made in a long time. My husband smoked terribly every night due to a recent allergy development that happened, once we moved to our new house. Not sure what he is allergic to, but he was prescribed a number of things from nasal sprays to medications, because he was always stuffed up, and miserable. We received our air purifier this week, and we set it up in our bedroom a few hours before we went to bed, and shut the door. We went to bed later that evening, and in the morning when he came down to go to work, he said he slept AMAZING, which I can attest to. No tossing and turning, no snoring. I bought this to remove the awful smell of my neighbor’s scented laundry soap. I have only used this item 2 times and so far, I have been lucky enough that neighbor did not do his 3 x per day stinky perfumed laundry soap. So, don’t know if it works with that stench yet. During the night, the machine was on and quiet – I could sleep. Sleep mode – I don’t get it because it seemed to just turn off. In the morning, I wanted a eucalyptus scented bath. I placed 2 drops on the pad and smelled nothing. I added a lot more and still no scent to me. My cats won’t go near it now that they can smell the eucalyptus. Not sure how it can put out a scent when the purpose of the machine’s carbon filters is to remove scent. If it removes my neighbor’s stinky laundry soap smell, I will love it and buy a diffuser for my eucalyptus baths.

We used to have an Oreck big 80s version that sounded like a bug zapper sizzling items that came into its path. You didnt mind because that meant it was working. Having said that this Levoit purifier is sooooo quiet I am still wondering if it is actually working. After the first night in my daughters room she came down stairs to tell me thank you for buying it & for the first time in forever she woke up with her sinuses intact and hardly any congestion. Living in Texas is a challenge makes it unbearable at times with her severe allergies to anything and everything. Hopefully in the long run it continues to have that impact. So its super quiet on high big plus, and its sleek design, triple filtration system I feel better having bought it even though the zap is gone. Definitely only for a secondary bedroom. I was hoping it could handle the upstairs of our condo but I will have to think about size next order which I will definitely be doing from this brand. Great job. One more thing I have never been an online shopper outside of Macys and Stein Mart I am going on a year now ordering from Amazon and sometimes the reviews will deter me elsewhere with complaints of product used and repackaged or broken damaged boxes and carelessness. In this year I have to admit my spending is a little excessive but must say I have never received anything remotely close to those reviews. I am impressed and seriously I dont know how I managed before Amazon. I wish someone had told me years ago. I think Macys sent me a letter wondering where I was and if I was ok. Thank You Amazon!

I bought this to remove the awful smell of my neighbor’s scented laundry soap. I have only used this item 2 times and so far, I have been lucky enough that neighbor did not do his 3 x per day stinky perfumed laundry soap. So, don’t know if it works with that stench yet. During the night, the machine was on and quiet – I could sleep. Sleep mode – I don’t get it because it seemed to just turn off. In the morning, I wanted a eucalyptus scented bath. I placed 2 drops on the pad and smelled nothing. I added a lot more and still no scent to me. My cats won’t go near it now that they can smell the eucalyptus. Not sure how it can put out a scent when the purpose of the machine’s carbon filters is to remove scent. If it removes my neighbor’s stinky laundry soap smell, I will love it and buy a diffuser for my eucalyptus baths.
I’ve been using this purifier in my small bedroom for over 90 days and it’s been great since day one.
Within hours of initial setup, I noticed a massive difference in the air quality of my small, carpeted bedroom—air is clean, easy to breathe and completely neutral in smell. It’s hard to describe without experiencing it firsthand, but once you set it up, you will absolutely notice a difference in the space.
The essential oil diffuser is a nice bonus, although if you’re looking to really fill a room with a scent, this isn’t that kind of device. The scent is clean and subtle when you add essential oils to the pad on the top, which is perfect for me because strong smells agitate my asthma. As someone who’s super sensitive to dust, pollen and strong fragrances, I couldn’t recommend this thing enough.
For anyone concerned about noise—I sleep with a large fan on for the noise so I couldn’t care less—this thing is almost silent. If it weren’t for the illuminated ring on the front, I’d forget this thing is on, even with the fan off.
If you’re on the fence about this thing, don’t be. Buy this thing, breathe better, sleep better and forget it’s even there.
This air purifier is made very well and it is the perfect size. I used it on “high” setting and didn’t find the noise level to be loud at all. I used it with my Lagunamoon essential oil in eucalyptus and it gave my bedroom a wonderful and soothing aroma. I was originally looking at more expensive units and decided to give this one a try and got to say I was pleasantly surprised. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase!

My husband’s smoking causes me to cough and I didn’t realize it until a co-worker asked me if my husband smokes. See what happens is that I get a cold and start coughing, and then even once I am well, I would still cough. I would get a tickling in my throat, and it would just not go away. I decided to get an air purifier to see if it would help, and it does. My coughing is almost completely gone. I wish my husband would just stop smoking, but I know that will not happen. I have the air purifier in the bedroom, on my side of the bed, and I run the air purifier all the time. I got a small unit so that if it didn’t work I would know I didn’t waste a lot of money. But it was money well spent.

Compact but MIGHTY
This product works amazingly in small rooms or spaces where you can close the door. Simply close the door to the room, come back in 15 minutes, and smell the fresh clean air. The sleep mode is extremely quiet, allowing for a peaceful night’s sleep. I have not cleaned the filters, but the instructions seem very simple. I purchased a home that was empty for a year and it didn’t have a fresh scent, especially in the back bedrooms. So, I purchased the Levoit for the odor and dust. I noticed a difference in 15 minutes. Wow.
The only drawback is the scented oil aromatherapy slot. I used a therapeutic grade essential oil and in a HOT minute, the scent was gone.
Overall, I would highly recommend this product for small closed spaces. Do not purchase for large open floor plans, it does not have the capacity to handle the much open space.

Just unwrapped this today! It’s compact and attractive on our nightstand. We recently got a new kitten, and with the pandemic raging it seemed like a good idea for extra germ protection. LOVE the touch control. Very high quality piece. I already have two more in my cart. Highly recommend!!

I have two of these, one on each end of my 350 sq foot studio. They move a decent amount of air. The filters are easy to access.
I find the noise to be barely audible. On sleep mode, I can’t even hear it, and the light goes out after a few seconds. It operated by one feather touch button in the front.
The white LED lights on this are bright enough to be seen in a lit room but not so bright as to disturb when sleeping.
One downside is the plug. It uses a small AC adapter, which takes up a bit of space at the wall. Don’t lose it.
Overall these are thoughtfully designed and a good value.
I replaced a Honeywell rated for about 200 sq feet with these thinking that their combined capacity would be make for cleaner air. That was an incorrect assumption. The Honeywell can pull a greater volume of air, at a faster rate, resulting in cleaner air. But it is also large, bulky, and heavy compared to these. So while these are not as effective at removing dust, they are still quite good, and I can put them out of the way, effectively making their footprint near zero.
I like my large room air purifier, but was tired of lugging it back and forth from the bedroom each day. This Levoit is perfect. Lightweight, not the filters aren’t too expensive. I’m allergic to dust and dog, which I have both…so this is another level of prevention. I put it on high for a short time before I retire, then it goes on sleep mode during the night.

Very Good for the price
Can sit on a desk or table, or the floor, without being too intrusive. Very quiet on high, which is the mode I keep it on. We smoke and have pets, and I feel it really helps with those odors.
Update Jan 18, 2021: I’ve been taking it out on the Ice Castle fish house, and it has done a wonderful job of clearing the fried fish smell out of the air, and of keeping cigarette smoke clear. Can’t hear it, either.
This thing is very quiet and sucks up SO MUCH DUST! I haven’t had it very long maybe a month or so and my house is SUPER dusty so it is working fantastic at the moment. Maybe in a year or so I will come back with another update but I already own another purifier by this brand it is has lasted more than a year so I am confident this will hold up. Haven’t tried the diffuser part nor sleep mode it didn’t really buy it for that.
Bought this due to all the California wildfires, but found it is very effective at clearing the air when I cook with onions and garlic. I’m in a small apartment and when cooking stews, baked chicken and sauting with onions and garlic I would smell it for the next day, but with this air purifier, i noticed the smell is gone within an hour or so. It also has the added bonus of being able to add essential oils, so a big plus. It’s also not too noisy and I like that the unit is very small yet effective!

Es una maravilla el purificador lvoit LV-H128, para su diminuto tamao es muy potente limpiando y soplando are fresco por mi habitacin, la cul es muy pequea pero justo hace el trabajo y sobrado. Mis alergias desaparicin al primer da de uso mientras dorma, no ms tos seca ni congestiones nasales al despertar, me encanta, volvera a comprarlo sin dudarlo.
It’s definitely a nice little filter there’s two filters one on each side.there are three settings there’s a sleep mode a medium and a high. The highest not really that loud. I actually wonder if it’s strong enough to use in a bedroom I feel like it should blow a lot more but it says 180 ft. I probably have about 200 ft. I have it sitting right next to my bed. And it’s quite enough for me to sleep. It’s a good looking design it’s sharp. It’s nice that has the spot for essential oil adds little aroma to the air which is nice. I have multiple air purifiers in my house basically I have a one that runs 500 ft, that runs my living room and hallway one in my office one in the kitchen and I may buy one for the laundry room. I’ve also upgraded to a HEPA filter for my furnace. I’m trying to have clean air in the house I’ve also gotten three plants for each room that filter out certain chemicals or things in the air.
I have a air quality meter in my home and it’s nearly perfect. It goes up a little bit when I open the doors but after a few minutes it goes back down. But overall this product is a great product I would definitely recommend it.especially if you’re going to have in your bedroom where you’re sleeping.

I saw the new dual filter model for $50 so I thought why not gice it a try. Overall I am very impressed by the unit and the performance.
Originally got it as a bedside white noise fan with the bonus of being a purifier, but I’ll be darned if this isn’t super silent. Even though I can’t use it for that, this is a great attribute for a purifier.
We decided to put this in our kitchen to help with cooking smoke and boy does it work well. It’s so quiet we use it on full speed when we cook and always forget it’s running. Whenever I go back in the kitchen the air smells and feels fresh and clean.
I can verify the night mode is almost silent and it does turn the lights off on the unit so if you are getting this to use in your bedside and want dark and quiet you can buy with confidence.
The filters are cheap too at $19 so I ended up getting a few backups all at once. Remember to take the plastic off the ones that come with the unit before you turn it on.
Don’t use the essential oil scent disc feature but I can see it being great for a lot of people especially for bedsides.
There are times I wish full power was a tad stronger but for $50 its the most minor of gripes. We have a few $300+ large area purifiers in other rooms and I’m just as happy with the Levoit compact unit as those. **Normal size water glass in pic for size comparison**
I initially bought a GermGuardian for my bedroom during the Lightning Complex and Oakville fires we had here in Northern CA. My allergies were terrible with the smoke, and my dogs’ dander just exacerbated it all. The GermGuardian did nothing — I was still waking up with allergy symptoms, a dry throat, and headache in the middle of the night every day (not to mention the noise level on that thing kept me from sleeping deeply as well). I have a Dyson for my living room but I can’t keep spending hundreds on purifiers so I decided to preorder the super affordable $50 bedroom Levoit. My god, since the very first day I began using it, I have not once had allergies at night. It was quite literally an overnight change. It’s also whisper quiet. Even when it’s placed on the floor directly next to my bed, I have had to double check that it’s on before sleeping. It’s really that quiet. I love this thing and will never try another brand for small purifiers.
This is a basic model, so no fancy features which makes it easy to use. It does its job. Only 10 in tall and 3 lbs. Looks nice on the night stand.
