Very nice machine for dry winters. Love the sleep mode, where can set it to go off in 1, 2, or 3 hours. Can set the desired humidity in 5-degree intervals. Does the job, would buy it again if need be.

I’ve gone through 2 already, but I’ll keep buying them. They generate a good amount of humidity for really dry climates, but hard to know when to replace the filter . Also as they age and get used, they get noisier (which is a good indicator the life is going to soon break)

Great humidifier, but very sloppy and awkward to fill. Large reservoir must be disengaged and removed for refilling, and it's large and heavy. REALLY needs a simple port on top for pouring into with a bottle or jug. Lugging to the sink in the bathroom every night gets to be a pain, and it drips/splashes everywhere unless you move very slowly when lifting the tank from the base.

One issue to be aware of: If you set the level too high i.e. leaving at default 90%, you will end up with a wet spot as the mist level will be considerable. Adjust when you get this off of 90% default depending on what you are buying it for.

Works pretty well, efficient, quiet, the dust is real
You have to decide whether or not the quiet and immediately efficient operation of this type of humidifier is worth the hazy dust you’re going to get if you don’t use distilled water. Even with double-filtered water I get dust. I’m OK with wiping it down, I know it’s not in any way dangerous, but it’s a tradeoff as the dust will get onto every surface of your room regardless of where you aim or place the humidifier.
It’s ultimately very effective at humidifying your area, and if you combine it with the warm up feature you can humidify very quickly. I have not been able to test how accurate the humidifier’s own humidity level sensor is, but it feels about right at 50% humidity.
Only thing i dont like is how wet the bottom of water tank is every time i go to refill the water. Otherwise, it’s a lovely machine so far and seemingly worth the price! it DOES absolutely eat distilled water, so it’s a little inconvenient to keep running so i usually only use it while i sleep, when i need it the most. The remote has a “display off” button that turns off the blue light from the display and makes sleeping so much easier, i love that function so much. Also, i’ve never had a humidifier before so i didn’t know what to expect when it said it was silent, but this thing really is so quiet??? i’m not sure how it’s even possible. I like the very faint noise it makes, but my small desk fan drowns it out.

The humidity sensor malfunctioned from the start. I contacted the company and they were very responsive. I will be getting a replacement. Fingers crossed that there are no problems with the new unit. I was very pleased with the service. The company wants to make things right for its customers.

I have three of these in my home. This last one tumbled to the floor upon opening and the thin plastic mechanism that holds the white valve broke which made it difficult to line up and fit into slot. It's even more difficult when the part if broken and you are maneuvering a full tank of water. Also sealing ring disappeared which isn't surprising given the difficult of filling this tank. I reached out to Levoit. They do not sell extra sealing rings or tanks which they should. I sent photos and now waiting for them to get back to me. No problem with the other two humidifiers.

Pros and cons
Pros first:
-Puts out a LOT of steam quickly which is just what I wanted
-Multidirectional spout
-Easy to fill reservoir
-Not terribly loud, good white noise honestly
Cons:
-Timer is pretty much pointless if you’re planning on running it longer than say three hours (a full tank
runs out a little after that)
-Heated steam function works but requires a lot of patience. Starts out barely luke warm and over the
course of say an hour finally heats up
-Heat settings themselves are pretty much pointless (your options are basically hot and not)
Verdict: A great steam producer that tries to do too much. Still would recommend.
A very good and powerful humidifier for its size. The little guy is still tricking along at probably close to 6 months in. It runs pretty much 24/7, unless the temps are above freezing and there’s a melt-off occurring outside. But so long as the days are dry? Regardless of temps? It runs.
Noise levels are manageable. It’s very silent, but louder for some reason with the heat on I feel. You won’t notice it much unless reading in a silent room. It sounds like a tea kettle when it’s in the very early stages of hissing but with tinier and more rapid bubble sounds. Very quiet with heat turned off.
Make sure to set this thing up high, on a small table if using the highest mist level, or extended time in use. If it’s on the floor with not but a mat under it? To keep the carpet fibers and dust out? The humidity collects on the floor and the carpet will start to stink. That said? The fan could stand to be more powerful, to shoot the mist up higher but then there’s risk of loudness, so that is why it is this way. No problem, just put it on an end table. The second problem the falling mist presents is that the humidifier instantly thinks that it’s reached humidity levels: The room could be 28% humidity when you first turn it on and instantly it’s seeing a raise to 34%. Only thing you can do is set the humidity 5-10% higher. On aggressively cold dry days like the example I listed above, using a mist level setting of 2 is ideal. The setting of 3 falls too heavy like a mist waterfall and doesn’t disperse into the atmosphere much. If using a setting of 3, make sure you have it up at least 2 feet off the ground.
I personally set kind to 50% humidity so that 5% can serve as a buffer a bit since the moisture seems to fall run onto the sensor fairly fast, causing it to think it’s about 5-8% higher than it is. This is why I wish I could offset by less than 5% steps. I’d probably use a setting of about 53%.
First of all my conclusion is you can’t buy a humidifier that’s cheap (eg $50) and expect terrific results. This unit was at a price point where finally. I’m getting good results
1 plenty of mist, and you can choose between three levels of mist.
2 large water capacity about 1 1/2 gallons.
3 you can choose between no warming of the water and two levels of warming
4 I find it of a reasonable shape and size that it’s easily movable from room to room so the bedroom gets it during the night and the living room is where I put it during the day
5 read the directions it needs to be about 9 inches away from any walls or furniture for maximum output
6 If you want to be free from the ridiculous amount of maintenance that humidifiers need, use distilled water or purified water. I bought a reverse osmosis kit for $70 and make my own water that has the salts (calcium, magnesium, etc.) removed and it needs no maintenance.
7 it comes with a very small Bluetooth remote if you enjoy changing settings while you’re sitting
8 hate all those ridiculously bright blue lights on all of your electronic devices? A simple button push turns the lights off for you at night and continues to operate at the settings you left it on.
The only negative that I have experienced is the humidifier measures the humidity and displays the numbers rather large, but this is for the air immediately around the humidifier, not for an average of the entire room, which would be impossible in any case. I find it’s usually off by 5 to 10 points on a 0 to 100 scale. Luckily my heaters thermostat has a humidifier function.
I will use this all winter in Vermont! Air is dry due to the fact that we heat all the time, all the long winter! My plants are happy now, and may all live through to springhowever, I don’t think the 600HH – while it looks great and does humidify! – is the model to cover 735 (as advertised) sq ft of roommaybe if you placed it in the middle of the room, I’m not sure; I am not going to test it that inconvenient way

Looses a star because of annoyance of having to remove reservoir from base and turn upside down to fill. Barely fits under bathroom faucet, and reservoir doesn’t get completely filled. (If had a handle on bottom, or better yet, could fill from top, would be five stars.) I do like the ability to turn the display off at night, when on it is constantly changing. Reservoir seems adequate for my room.
While I am impressed with the amount of humidity this adds to our house during the winter months, it does leave an incredible of white residue on every surface in our house. I have used hard water, soft water and distilled water in this unit and know that this humidifier works best with distilled water.
I just can’t justify using 3 gallons of distilled water (at $1.25 per gallon) every day. The other option would be to put a nearly $300 reverse osmosis system in our house to fill the humidifier reservoir. Either way, neither of these options are cost effective. I will be going back to our older Honeywell humidifier and replace the wicking element every 2-3 weeks at a cost of $6 and not have to worry about the mineral residue again.
I will admit that this humidifier works great and is nearly silent, but the cost to keep the mineral deposits off of every surface in our house make this unit a no go for me.

Cos come nel titolo sicuramente il prodotto valido ma cone tutti questi apparecchi la pulizia davvero lunga e poco pratica, purtroppo il tempo ai nostri giorni veramente limitato ed una doppia pulizia necessaria per garantirne la funzionalit ed ovviamente la salubrit impegnativa contando poi i tempi anche di asciugatura. Detto questo il suo lavoro lo fa bene, il controllo remoto permette di regolarlo facilemente a distanza e soprattutto fissare il livello di umidit permette di non avere eccessi. Il rapporto qualit prezzo buono.
First off not a fan of leaving reviews. But Brandon at Levoit made such a difference to my entire experience that it would be shameful not to share.
The product is great. The feature of heating the water is brilliant as plants require useful humidity. The split nozzle is incredibly convenient because allows for a greater coverage area. I aim on nozzle to the roots of a Vanda Orchid while the other grace towards Phaleonopsis, Cattleyas and Paps.
The tank is sturdy and so far no leaks. If you do not have a strong grip be prepared to get help opening the cap to fill the tank. It is that good of a seal!
The remote is another easy living feature I enjoy.
I had an issue with the Auto function, but as soon as I called Customer Service Brandon made the experience that much better.
I am enjoying hours of meditation watching the mist in its unpredictable path. Truly is grounding and peaceful. Thanks Levoit and Amazon.

Suand je l’ai reu j’ai dcouvert qu’il manquait la brosse de nettoyage, 2 tampons d’absorption et 2 coussins d’arme. En appelenat le service client je me suis rendue compte qu’il s’agissait d’un article en seconde main, alors que je trouve que ce n’est pas trs clairement indiqu. On m’a donc rembours une partie du prix mais les pices qu’il manque ne s’achte pas sur Amazon, ahah

Je trouve que le bruit est supportable, voir un peu relaxant, le diffuseur d’huile essentiel fonctionne bien pour le moment. Le fait de devoir remplir par le bas est un peu embtant mais le rservoir est super grand et l’appareil peut rester allumer assez longtemps en mode froid, et j’avais besoin de a. Je ne me fierai pas au taux d’humidit indiqu par l’appareil par contre, qui change un peu n’importe comment je trouve. Le minuteur est top et le fait qu’il y est plusieurs modes aussi.

Reached a dry season where I live and wanted a quick fix. However, humidity can vary almost week to week and decided to splurge a bit more for a humidifier that can start/stop based on the current humidity read. The auto mode on this humidifier is awesome for that. You set a target humidity and the misting only starts once the current room humidity has dropped 5% below that (and stops misting when approaching 5% above). A complaint about this feature though is sometimes the reader is very off (stuck at some random humidity range that is clearly not accurate). When this happens I unplug and replug the device and it’s usually fixed. A bit annoying, but not worth a return in my opinion.
I don’t play with many of the other features too much. The tank is pretty large and holds a good amount of water. Nitpick on the tank: even when it’s closed/sealed well and you pick it up, water tends to splash into the basin and sometimes surrounding the device. Made me nervous to place directly on my wood furniture (it’s on top of a waterproof mat now).
All in all, I’m happy with my purchase, just wish the humidity reading was consistently accurate.

These humidifiers are great. It has an auto mode as well as a timer setting. My son was having lots of nosebleeds so we purchased one for upstairs and downstairs, glad to say he hasn’t had a nosebleed since. The humidity on our thermostat now reads 30% it’s hard to achieve that living in AZ. Very pleased with our purchase.

Used it for 3 months straight now. Easy to clean and cuts off when the humidity hits the right amount or if its out of water. It’s been perfect and we have to have it for Arizona with the low humidity.
I would buy it again easily!

I have two in my very old home. I enjoy them. Easy to use and the remote is perfect. Internal moisture sensor is accurate. Relatively easy to clean but you have to keep up with it. I have a white one too. Must clean water reservoir weekly and allow it to completely dry to prevent mildew.

I want everyone to be aware that breathing in minerals that are in your tapwater has been proven to be dangerous to your lungs, so do not put this in to help your family, especially your kids room like I did for months until I found out that it’s unsafe for our lungs. We still use it; however, I put 100% filtered water through it, from a 12 stage process from a local business we use to drink, everything has been removed, all minerals. Read all of the reviews, you will read that there is a white chalky residue over everything in your room, which there is, that’s why I’m giving it four stars. I expected this after reading the reviews but that white residue is pure minerals from the water and that’s what your family and your kiddos are breathing into their lungs and it stays in your lungs! It’s very bad for you and can lead to respiratory issues.

One thing i guess rather would be general concern not only with this product is that despite i use filtered water, everything around what is plastic (and also wooden) gets white due to the steam fall. This may make you mad and think it is dust but in fact it is not. Steam reaches even inside through tiny holes of for exp.your vacuum cleaner and make such plastic tools look weird. It is definitely a disturbing situation but i cant blame the product for this. This is my first humidifier but I can guess its pretty much same with others because steam is steam and filtered water is filtered water. Generally, this humidifier covers my needs in my 30m2 flat. I had many sleepless nights before due to dry air in Poland, especially during winter. I had to get up to drink water every 1 hour, had nasal blocks, dry eyes and peeling hand skin. But now even with heaters turned on maximum, i dont have these problems. I got the black one because why not, it looks cooler than the white one ;)

We bought this on 1-14-22 and love it so far. I’m using it in a 800sqft room and it can keep the humidity above 55% IF I wished too, a bit high for me. I usually run it at 3 on the mist level with no heat and it’ll crank for a good 24 hours before needing a refill. Those settings keep the humidity level around 40%. If I run it on 2, it may run for 48 hrs. When you want/need FAST humidity, turn on the “WARM” setting and 2 or 3 on the mist level. It’ll raise the humidity levels FAST, but you’ll need to refill much sooner.
I still use tap water and those lil white “hard Water” pads(if I remember to) and mineral build up is no problem as long as you clean it every week or 2. I put a couple cups of white vinegar in the base then put the tank on with a small amount of water(just enough to keep it from shutting off) in it. Run that for maybe 30 mins. then use a cloth to wipe down areas that still show minerals and that’s that, SUPER EZ. After cleaning as described, the unit literally looks like new. Sterilizing is just as simple too. NBD at all.
The aroma pad feature is a nice touch and really simple as well. Open the little drawer that’s built in to the base and pop in 1 of the pads, close door and you’re good to go.
IF I was to change anything, the aroma pad option would be replaced by the old style “reservoir” or what ever they called it back in the day. I’d like the ability to use Vicks vapor rub menthol stuff we used when I was young. I may even try to put some Vicks on a used vapor pad in the drawer to see how that works as I don’t notice much menthol odor using the pads.
Overall, we’re really pleased with this purchase and I’d recomend this one to anyone in my position. I’ll write another update in a few months and see where we’re at.

Absolutely love this humidifier! We got this to keep the living area of the house nicely humidified during the winter months and to keep the plants happy. It did a fantastic job! We kept it at 60% humidity (you can set it to your preference) and left it alone. There is a pad off to the side for essential oils which we add eucalyptus oil to. Highly recommend this!

We kept it at 60% humidity (you can set it to your preference) and left it alone. There is a pad off to the side for essential oils which we add eucalyptus oil to. Highly recommend this!

I had been searching for one for awhile and finally decided on this one. It has worked wonderful. The noise level is none. I forget that it is on sometimes. The only thing I have noticed is that you have to use distilled water. If you don’t it gets a white dust everywhere due to the lime in the city water. Since I switched I haven’t had any issues.

Leise und tut seine Arbeit.
Habe zwei Gerte geholt, eines frs Wohn- Esszimmer und eines frs Schlafzimmer. Beide laufen den ganzen Tag. Destilliertes Wasser nehmen wir vom Trockner.
Die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist in beiden Rumen besser geworden.
Man hrt so gut wie nichts wenn sie laufen. Auch in der Nacht hrt man fast nichts und das Display kann man ausschalten, so dass man auch da nicht gestrt wird.
Funktioniert ohne Probleme
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gert.
Das Gert kam ohne Beschdigungen bei mir an. Nach dem Auspacken und auffllen des Wassertanks konnte es direkt los gehen.
Die Automatikfunktion ist nicht so das richtige fr mich, weswegen ich meine Wnsche einfach Manuell eingestellt habe.
Ich finde es gut, dass man einen Wunschwert einstellen kann z.B. 50% Luftfeuchtigkeit und das Gert beim erreichen dieses Wertes sich ausschalten und nach 5% Absenkung (45%) dann sich wieder einschaltet.
Die Mglichkeit auch eine Heizung einzuschalten, bietet mehrere Vorteile wie z.B. schnellere Bindung mit der Umgebungsluft und weniger Abkhlung der Umgebungsluft (im Winter z.B.).
Ich selber habe das Gert zunchst mit 7dH Wasser verwendet. Dennoch ist Zuviel Kalk im Wasser und Mineralien sowieso. Ich habe jetzt Destilliertes Wasser gekauft und damit habe ich keinen “Kalk-Nebel” mehr.
Der Tank hlt ca. 2,5 Tage mit je ca. 8-10 Stunden Arbeitszeit auf einer Nebelstrke von 1.
Also ca. 20-25 Stunden mit einer 6L Tankfllung auf der Stufe 1.
Kann ich nur Empfehlen. Sollte sich was ndern, wird es vermerkt.

Was ist besser als ein Luftbefeuchter? Zwei Luftbefeuchter...
Ich habe schon lange einen solchen Luftbefeuchter im Einsatz, um im Winter die Luftfeuchte im Heimbro auf ertrglichem Level zu halten. Funktioniert bestens, ist leise und auch mit Fernbedienung bequem einzustellen.
Das einzige Problem damit war, dass sich mit der Zeit unliebsame Besucher wie Algen, Pilze und Bakterien in Tank und darunter einfinden und prchtig gedeihen, wenn das Gert stndig in Betrieb ist und nie trocknen kann. Entweder mit der Chemiekeule immer wieder desinfizieren, oder einfacher ein zweites Gert holen, sodass eines 1-2 Wochen in Betrieb ist und das andere in der Zwischenzeit austrocknen kann. Geht perfekt.
So glad no filter needed!! Love the hot and cold mist, 3 settings and heat settings , timer and the remote adds a nice bonus feature!! Have been sleeping SO much better with this humidifier!! Bye bye dry nose and dry cough !!!

It's dead silent, affective, attractive, easy to use. Don't underestimate the filters! The last humidifier of this type left a fine, whiteish mineral film on everything plastic or glass in the room because I use tap water (distilled is just such a pain to keep replenishing). The filters this model uses completely eliminate this problem with tap water. So don't balk at the $10 cost of the filters. It's a good unit and works well for a moderate sized bedroom. No more crusty nose in the morning!

Llevo 6 meses usandolo y me ha funcionado perfecto, levanta los niveles de humedad justo a nivel que lo necesito. El control funciona bien. Tiene niveles de potencia y de calor, se puede programar al % requerido, el ruido es mnimo.
No dejarlo con agua sin utilizar por un tiempo porque puede oler a humedad..

This little unit really does it's job and is reasonably priced. We use it in an area about 1000 sq ft in size and it definitely adds moisture to the air and we have less "shocks" when we touch our appliances. My dog also loves it because he doesn't get "shocked" anymore when I go to pet him.

Habe mich leider vertan.
Anzeige fr Feuchtigkeit sehr schlecht ablesbar. Es gibt bessere.
Luftbefeuchter befeuchtet die Luft. Befüllung von unten unpraktisch.
Tut was es soll. Luft bei mir im Winter durchgngig. Die Wohnung und meine Haut fhlen sich angenehmer an und die Pflanzen wissen es auch zu schtzen.
Man muss den 6L-Tank von unten befllen. Dabei tropft der Tank, der Drehverschluss ist schwergngig … aber das ist der einzige Wermutstropfen.
Wrde das Teil weiterempfehlen oder auch einen zweiten kaufen.

Exactamente como se anuncia ruido muy muy bajo capacidad grande y suficiente para no preocuparme de que se quede sin agua no obstante avisa cuando se queda sin agua no moja no tengo fotos por qu fue un regalo para mi madre y le va perfecto para sus problemas de respiracin y catarro tambin puedes usar aromas lo recomiendo sin duda

Mide bien la humedad relativa (indica la existente y la que se le pide alcanzar), da una muy buena cantidad de vapor, tiene una capacidad de agua como para funcionar muchas horas sin necesidad de reponer agua y es bastante silencioso.
2-3 years ago wife and I bought a humidifier, which kicked the bucket during last spring. I fixed it myself by building my own power supply for it. However, it decided to kick the bucket again for another reason in mid December. Not being from the midwest, or the US, I struggle a lot with the dry air in the winter and so not having a humidifier was not an option. We spent a week coming up with products on amazon, but we never settled on any. On a whim, I purchased this one and got it next day (I’m a Prime member). I had stocked up on distilled water for this little guy prior to it arriving, so we could get it set up and running as soon as it came in.
Opening the package I was impressed, the product was very well packaged and came with a buttload of instructions and filters for essential oils (which we wont use). Set up took about 5 minutes, it’s pretty basic stuff. It took 1 and a half gallons of distilled water to fill it to the brim. From full, it takes about 4 days or so to go through that much water. Yet, it still puts out a good thick amount of mist. Astonishing to me, we were refilling the old humidifier daily. This one is much easier to fill too. What I like though, is just how sleek this thing looks on our dresser. It fits right in with everything else. We’ve had no leaking or dripping that other reviewers have had, it’s very quiet too. The display can be turned off pretty easily if it’s too bright for you at night. There is no filter for the water like some other models, which I knew when I bought it. So you really should use distilled water for this or you could have issues with calcium build up or white dust/flakes using regular tap water.
For me personally, I definitely have noticed a drastic improvement in air quality in the bedroom. With the output on this thing though, it’s definitely suitable for a larger room such as a living room. We just use it in the bedroom, as we were waking up with dry mouths and noses. If you’re on the fence about this product, it has my stamp of approval. I’ve included a photo to show the size of the product. Be aware, you should provide some space to the rear, and left of the product as it vents air from there – which is why we have a little space besides our unit.

das Gert macht das was es soll- die Luftbefeuchten. Die Mglichkeiten sind vielfltig: drei Stufen Kaltnebel, drei Stufen warm/Heinebel. Aromadiffusor.
Wenn man das Gert regelmig reinigt, hat sehr viel Freude damit. Es schafft bei uns gute 45qm auf 60% Luftfeutigkeit zu bringen ( mit Luft nach oben).
Der Geruschpegel ist gering. Man kann es, unserer Meinung nach auch im Schlafzimmer verwenden.
Was man sich vorher berlegen sollte: der Wassertank muss zum befllen abgenommen werden und dabei tropf Kondenswasser herunter und voll befllt ist der Tank mit 6l Wasser schon recht schwer. Das ist fr manche vielleicht ein Problem. Fr uns nicht.

Pero una vez lo tienes dominado el nivel de intensidad que necesitas es una gozada para que tu beb eso finalmente respire mejor por las noches.

I think this humidifier is decent. It doesn’t make any noise and is sturdy. It just doesn’ t shoot the steam high enough. I feel like it just humidifies the floor.

Al momento uso nella modalit caldo e non utilizzo il remote controller, non avendone necessit. Lo consiglio.
