I think it works wonderfully in both manual and automatic modes and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Controls are simple and intuitive and the interface is really nice. It’s quiet and will definitely put out a lot of water vapor if you want it to. I liked it enough to buy a second one for another room. However, I do think the tank design is a mistake. Instead of simply having a fill cap on the top of the tank, you have to remove the tank from the base and flip it upside-down to fill it. Be sure to wipe up all the water that drips everywhere when you do that. I’m crossing my fingers that the gasket that seals the tank to the base holds up for a long time despite the tank being removed and replaced several times each day for refilling. It seems to me that it would save time, reduce the mess, and likely avoid (or at least significantly delay) a leak that is probably ultimately inevitable if there was a simple fill cap on top of the tank.

If you have this in the same room as a Levoit Air Purifier, it will think the mist is bad air so my air purifier goes super loud. Overall, the product is worth purchasing for those who wake up with dry throats etc.

Pasan muchos das sin tener que rellenarlo. No hace ruido y automticamente nivela y dirige el nivel de humedad que quieras tener. Con pocas gotas de aceite esencial te perfuma la sala y si el aroma es de tomillo o eucalipto, te crea un ambiente sano para problemas de tos o resfriado. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente

Trovo non pratico il fatto che per riempire la vaschetta , bisogna staccarla dalla base, rovesciarla, svitare un grosso tappo, riempire d’acqua , rovesciare e rimettere sulla base. Anche la base nella parte a contatto con la vaschetta va svuotata dell’acqua che si forma nella parte a contatto con la vaschetta.

Questo, dopo 5 gg. Di test, funziona alla perfezione, silenziosissimo, e produce una quantit di vapore eccezionale. Ottima per le orchidee e per la.salute in casa se si ha un riscaldamento a pavimento che secca abbastanza l’aria. Ottimo prodotto lo consiglio.

We are very pleased with the two units we ordered. They perform well and are easy to maintain. The units have greatly improved our home environment. I would encourage anyone living in a high desert to purchase one or more of this product.
I make special note of the company’s customer service. They promptly and thoroughly answered my inquiry prior to ordering the units. When I noted a very minor problem–one so small I hesitated to contact Levoit–the company far exceeded expectation in resolving the issue to our complete satisfaction. While secondary to product quality, service of this caliber merits serious consideration.
Molto funzionale e silenzioso
Ottimo non si sente il solito fastidioso gocciolare dei dispositivi a ultrasuoni. Funziona molto bene ed e anche bello da vedere. Lo consiglio!

I like that it does the job well. It is an efective humidifier….but the soind level especially at night is troublesome. It huums and one can hear water drops almost continously…not recommended for the light sleepers…ar at least right off before falling asleep.
We have a large bedroom and even in the coldest and dry times this humidifier does the job. It’s quiet at night with no lights to keep you up. It has a large water reservoir that lasts for several days before refilling. Easy to refill.

Since I started using this humidifier, I don’t wake up with a dry, stuffed nose. Extremely quiet. Must use off the floor. At the lowest of three mist setting, mine uses about 1/2 tank of water nightly. With mobility issues, it is a bit heavy to carry the full tank of water. Recommend.

We have a normal size room and even on high it doesn’t seem to make our room any more humid. A little disappointing. And it hold so much water and lasts all day and still not enough.

This is my second of these Levoit humidifiers and I’m 100% satisfied with my purchase. During winter, with the heat constantly on, the plants in my apartment were suffering and these humidifiers brought them back to life and has kept them looking in great shape. I was also waking up with very dry sinuses and the humidifiers have remedied that. This model is quiet and perfect for medium and large rooms. Cleaning can be a bit of a hassle but I use filtered water, which has made cleaning it a bit of a breeze. Definitely recommend. You will not regret it!

Hallo, das Gert ist gut und und optisch ansprechend. Funktion einfach und Feuchtigkeit kann erhht oder gehalten werden.Jedoch ein grosses Problem sind die Kalkablagerungen in jeder Ecke durch den Nebel.

Comprato per il mio nipotino che soffre di infezioni ricorrenti alle alte vie respiratorie con tosse ed asma : buona e duratura umidificazione dell’ambiente di soggiorno.
It is easy to fill, easy to figure out, and really quiet. But, has a lot of different parts to clean and dry off. I did know that prior to purchase, but this machine was recommended from a few different online sources. So thought I would take a chance and just make sure clean it often to avoid mold.

The remote is useless. I have two of them. I have to stand within a foot of the humidifier. I tried to replace the battery and the slot is virtually impossible to open. I wasted my money on two batteries I could not replace.

Umidificatore abbastanza silenzioso (con nebbia fredda) intuitivo il funzionamento. Lo utilizzo occasionalmente per cui non posso dire se l’igrometro incorporato sia affidabile in quanto lo spengo e accendo alla necessit. COn funzionamento a nebbia calda ho notato che tende a perdere acqua dal serbatoio, forse a causa di leggere deformazioni dovute al calore. Il rabbocco lo trovo semplice ( non capisco come certe persone lo trovino scomodo e difficoltoso, in fondo abbiamo tutti le mani prensili da molti anni)..
Avrei preferito spendere qualcosa di pi per acquistare prodotti di marche pi affidabili e conosciute ma non si trova niente in commercio.

This is my 4th humidifier & it’s best by far. Have gas heat & very dry house. Suffered from dry, crusty nose w/ occasional bleeding, as well as dry, itchy skin. Previous humidifiers had filters & wicks. Filters got crusty from minerals in water & wicks got moldy quickly. Replacing them was costly. Buying distilled water much more cost effective & humidifier stays clean. Unit puts out superior humidity & is silent. Keep mine set at 55% & only have to refill every 4-5 days. Has resolved my dryness completely. Like feature that lighted display can be turned off. Highly recommend.

Trying to balance or hold the container while refilling is a challenge, plus you must make sure the cap is closed tight/secure before you turn it over to carry it. Sto usando l’umidificatore ormai da una ventina di giorni, ho subito notato il miglioramento della qualit dell’aria, a casa abbiamo un camino nella zona giorno che fa molto caldo ma secca tantissimo l’aria, ed necessario usare un umidificatore!
Appena acceso il sensore misurava 28% di umidit, eccessivamente bassa !!!!
Questo modello ha di buono la grande capacit del serbatoio 6 litri che usandolo in automatico dura circa 2 giorni;
Io lo uso in automatico, e regola lui il flusso di vapore in base all’umidit della stanza, la mia zona giorno circa 80 mq ed al limite
Lo vorrei ancora pi potente, ma devo dire che se lo si usa tutto il giorno, risulta un po’ rumoroso anche se abbastanza silenzioso
Certo usarne 2 mi sembra eccessivo!!
Devo capire il consumo di corrente perch appunto tenendolo accesso tutto il giorno avr sicuramente il suo impatto in bolletta

Poco ruido y mucha duració
Lo compr porque tiene los dos tipos de humedad, fra y caliente, lo uso sobre todo por las noches para dormir y funciona muy bien y no nos levantamos con la garganta y la nariz resecas, aunque una noche fra puse el vapor caliente y por la maana se haba vaciado el depsito perdiendo el agua y mojando todo, ahora le pongo poca agua y no he vuelto a probar el vapor caliente, con el fro todo bien y no pierde, volver a probar.

Lo compr porque tiene los dos tipos de humedad, fra y caliente, lo uso sobre todo por las noches para dormir y funciona muy bien y no nos levantamos con la garganta y la nariz resecas, aunque una noche fra puse el vapor caliente y por la maana se haba vaciado el depsito perdiendo el agua y mojando todo, ahora le pongo poca agua y no he vuelto a probar el vapor caliente, con el fro todo bien y no pierde, volver a probar.

While in normal mode, the noise is totally ignorable. However when the warm mist is switched on, the humidifier get louder. Sometimes so much, that the use bedroom is annoying, but only sometimes.
Tank:
The tank sits on top of the humidifier with nozzle of the tank being beneath the tank. This means the tank need to be lifted up vertically and then turned around for refilling. As there is always some condense water under the tank, a cloth is needed to catch it and avoid drippings.
Would I buy it again? For this price for sure yes and I did purchase a 2nd humidifier in white.

We had a question on one of the humidifiers and customer service was easy to reach and responsive. They gave clear guidance and instruction and were able to resolve the issue. Have had no problems with the other two units.

The dryness was making it impossible to work, much less even think clearly: so much discomfort I could barely breathe.
I read many reviews of this model and looked at many humidifiers. I was a bit worried about buying it because so many people had mentioned problems with leaks or other blunders. I hoped to find something better, but after way too much time spent reviewing, I didn’t see another model that had better price performance and significantly better reviews that this one. I prepared myself to buy it and treat it very gently, knowing that it may be sensitive, and then hoping profoundly that it works.
I have been using it for several days now, and so far I am not disappointed at all. I’m breathing – the world is good again. I was happy to see that a lot of the problems and concerns other reviewers wrote about being directly addressed in the little pamphlet that I got when unboxing. Specifically things with leaking or the machine ‘freezing’ – they have tips how to avoid it or troubleshoot. It seems like there is a reason for many of the issues noted and a clear way to avoid or resolve them. That made me feel more confident.
The one thing that was different than i expected was the warmth of the warm mist option. I was very curious how “hot” or “warm” it got and didn’t see anything mentioned about that in other reviews. When I turn on the highest heating mode, the mist does feel very, very warm. Nothing too hot that would hurt in the least. Just like the steam you might feel comfortable with in a nice, hot shower. However, by the time the steam reaches the air, let’s say about a foot away from the machine, it is no longer palpably warm – maybe a trace. It’s just room temperature, and gets colder the further away you get. I had hoped that the air all around would get noticeably warmer (and maybe theoretically it does) but not in a way that I can significantly feel. That said, if i sit quite close to the machine, I can feel it more and I assume its at least not making the air too much colder. I have another basic humidifier that I’ve used next to my bed and it blows such cold air that it feels more like an AC than a humidifier, which I’m sensitive to. I think this is much better, just know that its not gonna make it a steam bath around you :P!

Es muy prctico, est totalmente aislado el almacenamiento de agua de otras partes, con lo cual no hay que estar pendiente de no mojar las otras partes (con otro que tuve lo daamos porque llenndolo se moj el circuito), y adems puedes programarlo para que al llegar a cierto nivel de humedad, se apague y se encienda de nuevo cuando sea necesario, con lo cual el suelo no amanece mojado como con otros humidificadores.
Buena inversió
Buen producto, trae su espacio especifico para agregar los aceites; no hace ruido, de verdad si emite el vapor para una habitacin amplia.
Tiene control remoto y se puede apagar la pantalla para el descanso nocturno.
Realmente si vale la pena.

Tellement contente de l’avoir enfin reu ! 2 mois d’attente ayant fait une pr-commande. Je n’avais pas de date de livraison alors qu’il tait nouveau disponible et propos par Amazon. J’ai donc du annuler et refaire ma commande. Bref, il est top ! La possibilit de mettre 6 litres d’eau, de pouvoir fixer une dure de fonctionnement ou de taux d’humidit ne pas dpasser est vraiment intressante. La tlcommande est aussi un petit + apprciable.
As an avid grower with a lot of houseplants that love high humidity, this humidifier is absolutely amazing. The big 6 liter tank, timer, humidity control, rotating nozzles and the warm/cold mist function are super handy. It’s located not far from my bed, and I barely hear any noise from it.
It’s filled from the bottom which many people dislike, but I’ve had no issues with lifting the tank up, filling it and placing it back down. This is on another hand a humidifier I wouldn’t recommend for people that can’t grip to things properly as you might drop the tank after you’ve filled it.
Another thing is the humidity settings. If you set a desired humidity to for example 65%, it seems to always go 5% under the setting you choose – which is actually a bit annoying.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the product.

Lo uso todos los das y me encanta. Tiene mando a distancia y se puede programar. El aire caliente est muy bien, me gusta mucho, pero con esa funcin hace mucho ruido para mi, por lo que para dormir lo pongo en aire fro, que no hace nada de ruido.
El llenado del depsito es por abajo y bastante incmodo, deberan hacerlos por arriba, pero bueno, an as, lo recomiendo mucho, es de muy buena calidad y funciona muy bien.

I love this little guy. Lots of settings, super quiet and really helps with dry sinuses. But it’s a pain to refill the tank-it’s big and a bit awkward.

Ich arbeite viel im Homeoffice in einem Haus mit kontrollierter Be- und Entlftung. Eine Folge ist, dass die Luftfeuchtigkeit in meinem Arbeitszimmer (ca. 30 qm) im Keller nur bei ca. 35% liegt. Die Nasenschleimhute schwellen dann gern mal zu – sehr nervig.
Mit dem Gert (im Einsatz seit Mitte November 2021) bekomme ich die Luftfeuchtigkeit an meinem Arbeitsplatz auf ca. 50-53% angehoben. Umgehend nachdem ich es eingesetzt habe sind meine Schleimhuten wieder beschwerdefrei. Und das Gert funktioniert bei mir bis zum letzten Tropfen im Tank – ein Abschalten bei 50% Wasserfllstand kann ich bei meinem Gert nicht feststellen.
Wir tragen uns mit dem Gedanken, auch unsere Schlafrume mit einem kleineren Gert auszustatten. Mal schauen …

Da ich immer im Winter mit der trockenen Luft in der Wohnung meine Probleme habe, hab ich mich fr das Gert entschieden. Ich finde es leise, es hat einige Einstellungen groer Wassertank und Fernbedienung. Super Sache.

Have had this unit for about a month now. I use it in our large bedroom at night. We have had no problem with grey film as some have said. Our water is pretty good and not rated as very hard so that may be part off the reason. I also use Antimicrobial sticks in the tank which I think helps keep minerals down that cause the grey dust of film some complain about. I have experienced no leaks at all. I did note that you have to be careful to seat the screw top carefully on the tank after putting water in it. It is easy to not seat it correctly which I think would cause some people to have leaks. I have used the unit on “auto” so it generates mist when the on board humidity control is between 55 and 68. That seems to be fine for us. However, I did note that a separate humidity measure did not say we were getting the humidity that the unit itself noted. Not sure, therefore, what to make of the numbers or the difference but the humidity seems to be good as far as a lack of dry nose at night which is what I was most concerned about. Also, an evaporator humidifier that we had before this one also did not produce the humidity that would show a big increase on our separate humidity measure instrument so maybe it is my separate instrument. The main point is that as far as our experience of dryness in the room at night, this unit is taking care of that problem for sure. It is very quiet. The “night light” on it has not been a problem for us and it can be turned off if needed. The only issue I have had is that my hands are big enough that it is a little difficult to get my hand and a rag in the tank opening to clean it thus the three stars on that part.

It works especially well when I have my heater on (I can't stand the cold so I am at a comfortable 82F/29C) since my air is always dry. Very efficie
Very efficient in terms of steam output but a little noisy( sounds like it’s raining on a metal roof)
The humidifier works pretty well, our room is pretty big so it keeps the room pretty humid. But mainly it’s used for my by son next to his crib. The mist comes out strong and reach him even when he moves around the bed. The only issue is that the humidity sensor is off sometimes. It’ll shut off randomly at night cause it thinks it has reached the humidity level that it’s set at but I wake up to a very dry room, so I would have to turn it back on again. So that’s the only issue at the moment.

Bought 2 of these when my cheaper humidifiers died for the 2nd time in a few months after purchase.
Have had these about 2 months but only started using 1 about a month ago. So far it works great, only downfall would be when using in a tent the humidity gauge on the humidifier tends to turn the humidifier off before the rest fo the tent has reached the same percentage of humidity.
Also, one time the humidity Guage did not stop the humidifier and turn it off, so my humidity reached nearly 90% simple reset of the humidifier fixed this issue.

It's quiet, it keeps the air at the humidity I need it to be, it's easy to fill. It's a little annoying to clean though. I still would totally buy again.

I am compelled to tell you what an excellent customer service team Levitt has. I purchased this unit exactly 2 years back, and since then it has worked perfectly well. My children need humidification for allergies and dryness, and since we started using the unit, there has been much relief in their symptoms. Perfect function aside, what really impressed me is that the company gave me a free replacement for the cap I had lost during moving. I simply tested my luck by contacting them through Amazon as otherwise I would have to trash the unit. And they were prompt to respond and granted me this onetime special courtesy by sending me a free cap.
I would certainly remember them fondly for this. And that is in addition to a near perfect humidifier that is as silent as if not there.

Tiene dos opciones vapor caliente o frio lo cual es perfecto, y la pantalla se puede apagar durante la noche. Su ruido es casi imperceptible, y lo puedes manejar desde lejos con el control remoto, por ltimo tiene un compartimiento para aceites esenciales. Hasta el dia de hoy estoy encantado y a mi bebe le ha ayudado mucho a respirar.

We got this to supplement our existing 15-20 yr old Holmes humidifier 😛 and it did exactly what we needed. In the winter we have both of them running in our open loft area, and they solve our dry cracked and bleeding hands issue. SO wonderful to have healthy skin again! Very grateful. The design of our house lends itself very well to just using these two humidifiers (and for years previously just the one was enough), rather than needing a whole-house humidifier that connects to the air vents. We don’t have any problem with either humidifier making the area around itself wet, as both are up about 10ft in the air with a big open space in front of them. We live in Indiana, and it gets very dry here, and winter is long. We have had this Levoit humidifier for just part of one winter, but really liking it so far. It’s nice looking – I like the clear tank, the sleek look, nice controls, humidity sensor is really helpful, like the display, the intensity settings are very useful. I highly recommend using a humidifier cleaning fish or cartridge (we have been using the Pro-Tec Humidifier cleaning fish, Model: PC1F, ASIN: B01N6MV8SA that we also got from Amazon). They are safe for ultrasonic humidifiers (and not much else is), and they keep bacteria from growing in the tank for a long time, which means SO much less having to clean the tank. Probably an unimportant note, but we have only used distilled water in it, as we have a water distiller (which I don’t think are very common), but this really helps with not having hard water build up in the tank, as our city water is incredibly hard, even with a softener. I just cleaned it to put it away for the summer, and it still looks brand new. 🙂
Overall excellent humidifier, we really like it and it seems solid and well built. I expect it to last us for many years.
Pardon me for being nerdy here for a moment:
One thing that has fascinated me is that I *think* the mist the Levoit humidifier makes contains finer particles than our ancient Holmes humidifier. This hasn’t made a difference either positive or negative in our case that I can tell, and both put out a nice steady stream of mist, but as a person who is interested in how and why things work, I can’t deny that I’m intrigued. Does the ultrasonic plate in the new Levoit vibrate faster or with more precision? Are there situations in which larger or smaller particles are preferable? 😛 Etc.
