Great cage but BIN THE WHEEL AND HOUSE!!!
The wheel and house supplied are far too small for a syrian hamster. You need a 28cm wheel at least which basically fills the entire height of the cage. I put these two straight in the bin. Other than that, it’s not far off being the correct width for a syrian so it’s a great starter cage. I’ve put perspex up on one side though so I can build up the bedding so my hamster can burrow.
Arrived with problems but rapidly sorted by supplie
The cage arrived with the ‘house’ broken and two side panels with door holes but only one door. I contacted the supplier and they rapidly sent replacements. Hence 4 rather than 3 stars. I bought this cage for two young female rats and certainly, the space between the bars is small enough to secure young female rats. Constructing the cage was fairly easy and the cage is secure apart from the door which is easy for the rats to open – and had to be secured with my own equipment – as nothing to secure the door had been provided. The construction instructions were poor and of little use. Once built and secured there was plenty of space for two rats. Easy to clean if you have a garden and a hosepipe. Apart from the wooden ramps and the wooden platforms the provided equipment was useless for rats but may be useful for hampsters. Overall a score between 3-4
Good size
Easy to assemble, fairly sturdy. But mostly, the size is good: big enough for my syrian hamster – he definitely likes his cage, but not too large. Wheel and hut had to go because they were just too small and some parts of wooden toys are too smooth to grip on. But all these “issues” are minor. You can arrange this enclosure in your own way. Overall I am happy with my purchase and my hamster has plenty of room for himself.
Fantastic small animal cage
Wasn’t sure about size when it arrived, but it’s great for our 2 rats and a good size for them. Would’ve preferred plastic shelves (wood isn’t as easy to clean) but they’re sturdy and haven’t been chewed yet.
Really pleased and would happily buy again if we ended up with more smallies!

Good cage,wished the platforms were plastic wooden platforms aren’t easy to clean as the rats like to pee on them it leaves stains other than that Happy with it. A bit awkward to assemble.
Only hard part was the support coloums bit tough getting them to slot into triangle holders.
It’s big enough for my syrian hamster despite what other say. She loves her new cage, it’s deep enough for her to burrow.

Love this cage, I took out the shelf for more bedding space/floor space. I put a tunnel under all the bedding so my hamster was warm and felt safe

It’s a great product but, did take a bit of effort to put together. I’m using it for only my one Syrian hamster and it’s a great size.
Excellent habitat with comprehensive accessories
THis is a great cage. It comes with two wooden platforms with wooden ramps. Additionally it includes a small plastic house and two transparent plastic wheels. The house and wheels are only really appropriate for dwarf hamsters and animals of that size though. The cage is sturdy and spacious but there is a design flaw in that there is only a single small opening on the side of the cage, which makes access a little tricky.

Only 1 downside to the cage is the ramp has no grip and my hampster kept sliding down when trying to climb up it so I had to stick sandpaper on it for grip. Other than that the cage is very nice, I would recommend this cage.
Lovely looking, great size for syrian hamste
I looked at soo many cages before I chose this one. I am really happy with it for Egon my Syrian hamster.
It is a great size for him, plenty of floor space and general space galore. I was attracted to the fact it was nice and neutral looking and not a garish colour like some. Super easy to put together and once together nice and sturdy.
The base has some depth for bedding and enough room for a flying saucer wheel which I really wanted to add (30cm so takes some space up!) I love the wooden shelves, I do have a concern of them over time so I have personally laid some tiles on them in main eating areas etc. He can easily use the ladders and navigate the cage. There is so much room to change and add (his cage will evolve over time for sure)
If I wanted to be fussy I could say I’d like larger front access door but it has what it states it has and works for the purpose. It has the top access for cleaning and taking bits of to clean. I did have to bend the latch slightly but such a tiny job, just made it a bit tougher to open as was a bit loose. To clean I just pop whole top off which is easy enough to do.
I would give 4.5 stars if I could only as I wasn’t impressed by the wheels supplied and house as they were small. The house is perfect for a dwarf hamster but wheels even too small for them in my opinion. I would rather pay slightly less and not have them added 🙂 but I did buy for the cage not the accessories!
Delivery was great and product packaged well and complete. Overall super happy and would recommend 🙂

A nice cage for the price
Nice cage plenty of room for my Syrian hamster to grow in, instructions only have pictures on how to assemble cage and not for the inside pieces though it was too difficult to figure out, the items it comes with are rather small, the wheels may be ok if you have dwarf hamsters, and it comes with two bowls and not a water bottle, it’s easy to unlatch to cleanse out, however it is simple plastic so you do need to be careful with the base and lid, and the latch on the side seems like it could easily open. If your pets are climbers but other than that a really nice cage – I was gonna get a slightly smaller one but this was 20 cheaper XD
Good-sized rat cage
Perfect size for my two male rats. Light enough to move around. The wooden attachment at the bottom does make cleaning the cage a little tricky, but it’s not a huge issue. Plenty of space to hang hammocks and other play items.

A perfect home for an active Syrian hamster.
It’s a great cage for a Syrian hamster who loves to climb. There is plenty of room.
We would have given it a 5 star if one of them hadn’t been broken etc.
We bought 2, my one daughters was perfect but the other one came in a battered box. The bottom was severely cracked and the bars were actually snapped near the side door. It clearly looked like a return.
The return was not a problem at all.
The second came and everything was in good condition, the only thing was that the corner clips to attach the bars together didn’t all fit. They were not even the same size. After a lot of tears from my other daughter and literally bashing them in her hamster is now enjoying her new home.
It’s big but it’s perfect, wish we had bought these instead of the smaller ones we got.
It can actually fit a large flying saucer in the base of the cage.

It was a bit hard to assemble at first but got there in the end, it’s slightly smaller than the recommended size for a Syrian Hamster but it’s still quite big

This was easy to assemble and a good size for our Syrian hamster. The wheel was too small so we had to get a bigger one but that wasn’t a problem. Well worth the cost.

Hola, yo tengo 3 iguales y ahora os enseo las 2 que le regale a mi pareja, como podis ver aguanta bien el pero ya que una est encima de la otra sin nada en medio y aguanta perfectamente, por Amazon solo compre 2 (ambas negras) la de color crema la compre en tienda animal pero luego descubr que estaba mucho ms barata por aqu…all nos cost 100 y pico
Ahora mismo no estn montadas como deberan pero podra subir otra foto o fideo de cmo estara con todo montado.
Te venia con las piezas, un recambio de la pieza que une la esquinas (que por ahora no hemos usado) + 2 cuencos de plstico (por que los jerbos lo muerden no lo usamos) una rueda y una casita que no hemos usado.
Va genial a la hora de limpiar y es resistente

Good size for syrian hamster needs bigger wheel
This cage is a really lovely size for a syrian hamster, my little hammy is very happy in it. Wooden ramps and platforms are a lovely touch too. Only downside is the wheels it comes with are way too small, hamsters can develop back issues from running in wheels that are too small for them and unfortunately most hamster cages come with small wheel. I have put a wheel that is designed for a rat in mine, it is huge but he won’t strain his back when he’s running in it. Other than that I’m very happy

Handy thing
It can comfortably fit one syrian hamster (with daily play time outside the cage) but I think two rats is pushing it. It would depend on how many differant enrichment items you can cram in.
The lid lifting up means it’s super convenient to access most parts of the cage but for rats this means that it is very very difficult to hang any toys or hammocks from the lid.
The wheel that comes with it is a waste of good plastic. It isn’t suitable for anything, especially since even a dwarf hamster cannot safely be housed in this cage due to the 1cm bar spacing.
Awesome cage!
Great hamster cage – lots of room and deep so he can dig tunnels and make himself comfy! So much larger and nicer than those at pets at home and similar. Wheels and bed provided are too small for our Syrian though, but easy to replace with suitable ones.
Great cage
Great value for money, sturdy cage, brilliant top opening. Huge for our dwarf hamster who loves it. The wheels is very noisy though, so budget for a silent spinner if you ever want to sleep again!
Best cage I’ve had
Excellent enclosure, lots of space and very easy to put together, also extremely sturdy. Would be awesome if the wooden platform was a few inches longer just for some extra added room to run above and hide under but this isn’t a criticism just a thought, it has a nice deep base so lots of room for digging, I love the cage thank you .

My Syrian hamster (Betty) loves it. She was soo curious and excited about her new home. She tried to escape countless times but non of them ended up with success. I’m loving her persistency though. hahaha
Arrived damaged but was satisfied with outcome and the cage
The cage came damaged, (see pics of box which had clearly been thrown around; and corner of cage which had 2 pieces of plastic corner broken). This was easily fixed with glue and some tape as I did not want to package and send something that size back. I negotiated a discount so was happy.
The cage is for 2 male adult rats and I am pleased with the size. I found it quite easy to put together and did it on my own in less than hour. You can choose to put the platforms and stairs where you like or can opt to just have one in. I like the way the cage opens from the top aswell as the small door at the front. The 2 side clips are very loose though and are not very sturdy.
The items which came with the cage are far too small for the rats, would be okay for a dwarf hamster or mouse but nothing bigger.
Overall I’m happy with the cage for the price paid.

Got this cage for Syrian hamster and it is a great size, fast delivery, easy to assemble and just great in every way. Very happy with this item. I did not use the items that came with the cage because had items already. The trixie sand blasted branch I brought fitted in perfectly as well. A very happy hamster 🙂

Good cage
For a flat pack cages this was pretty straightforward and easy to assemble, it also seems pretty sturdy too. Marked down on cleaning as the levels are untreated wood, so if you have a very messy cage occupant could be an issue.

The actual cage is a decent size for our Syrian hamster,enough room for 2 houses,his wheel and some other bits and pieces.It looks sturdy and cleans easily.I like the large top opening and no others,less chance of our little rodent escaping.

Very good, spacious cage. My syrian unfortunately tends to chew plastic so she’s almost made her way through the roof of the cage. I have taken the shelf out to deter her but I don’t recommend for prone chewers but otherwise the best cage I’ve purchased so far.
Suitable for rats
Easy to put together and pretty big! A lot better than what I was expecting for the price. Doesn’t come with a water bottle and the house is a little small for rats but the rest of it is really good!

Really happy with the cage, large enough compare to pet store cages. Easy to assemble, maybe best to be two people. So much more place for toys and other accessories.
Good but not incredible
This cage is ok. I love that it has a top and side opening and the fact that it is so easy to clean. The only downside is that the wiring is a little onthe thin side meaning that when perches re attached to it the washer struggle to catch properly. I solved the issue by simply replacing my washers with larger ones. So that is ok. I also would have liked a couple of extra clips to secure the front and back to the base and not only the sides. Regardless the cage feels secure so again it is ok.

Great cage for hamsters. Very big and within the rspca guidelines with loads of room to add all different kind of things. The wheel and house are too small for a syrian so buy your own, at least an 8.5 inch.

Bought for my Syrian and he loves it!!
Just bought this for my Syrian and he LOVES it!!! It’s so nice and big and I’ve just bought some grass mats to put on the sides so there is more room to burrow. The pan is deeper than I thought and he has plenty of space! It fits in my 28cm Trixie wheel, a fairly big sand bath and some boredom breakers!! He hasn’t bitten at the bars or monkey barred once. My only con is that the wheels are far too small for any little creature tbh. Apart from that really recommend 🙂
Syrian loves it! A pain to assemble
My 6 month Syrian ‘Nugget’ outgrew her last cage. Because of her size, I knew I wanted a large cage – this cage is perfect for her! She loves running up and down the different levels and there is so much room for her. The only con was the assembly of it, even now, I don’t know if I assembled it correctly, and the ‘lid’ was difficult to secure. And you’d you pick up the age, it feels a bit ‘flimsy’ – Other than that, no complaints!

La jaula est muy bien. Muy grande. Mis dos jerbos corretean, saltan y juegan. Es fcil de montar. La caseta es transparente y solo la usan para jugar, no para dormir y las ruedas tampoco las usan. Los comederos estn bien, se suben para comer y no los tiran.

J’ai retir 1 toile car il a fallu que je resserre la petite grille d’ouverture devant car elle s’ouvrait toute seule et aussi parce que une ouverture supplmentaire sur le devant aurait t parfaite.
On pourrait croire que la cage est fragile, mais non une fois monte tout tient trs bien, c’est parfait.
Par contre, j’ai recouvert les tagres et rampes en bois d’adhsif en vynil car l’urine sur le bois dgage des odeurs toxiques pour les rats.
En rsum, trs bonne cage, montage facile et rapide.

Good size for two rats. Easy to deep clean as it can be easily dismantled and scrubbed in sections. Wooden platforms are a bit more difficult to keep “fresh” but apart from that, very happy little rat ladies!

Amazing cage, recommend for any mice owners
So I had to order a replacement because the first cage that came, the bottom tray was cracked but Amazon was great and sent me a replacement straight away and it was not the sellers fault, rather the delivery drivers as to why it was broken but second cage came perfectly fine, was really quick to build and instructions were pretty easy to understand, I was kinda worried that the bars were going to be too wide that my mouse would escape, as he’s quite small, however as you can see he absolutely loves it and cannot escape, he can’t even fit his head through the bars! The bars aren’t easy to bend either so I really recommend this cage for any mice owners 🙂 haven’t cleaned it out yet as I’ve only had it for a couple days but it seems easy to clean as the bottom tray comes easily off when you unclip it on the sides, only complaint is that the lid has bars where it opens and they’re a bit bigger than the bars on the side of the cage so he could probably escape through the top bars but I just cover it with a blanket so not a huge problem
