My kids love this kitchen! They love being able to “cut” fruits and veggies, they love the interactive app on the tablet. I just wish there was a way to buy replacement food because my daughter has chewed on some pieces and now they no longer Velcro together. I also wish the Bluetooth connect button was in a different spot because the kids will constantly press it while in the app. The top part of the kitchen also seems to lean forward so the salt and pepper and cups and plates don’t stay in. Overall it’s a great toy kitchen and the kids enjoy “cooking”

Ok I will not be able to say just how amazing and cute this kitchen is!! We got this for our 3 year olds birthday and she hasn’t stopped playing with it! I loved the wood kitchens but thought she would like something that made noises more and boy does this kitchen do it!! It makes water sound coming out of the faucet, it fries food, it chops, the oven has a light also makes a noise like you’re opening a real oven door and makes noise when you drop food in the cookware! You can “chop” the Velcro food and pluck it off the vine like a real garden. Seriously can’t say enough about how fun this is and keeps my daughter so entertained! Set up was easy, I read instructions while my husband put it together and it went smoothly.

Love this! Made very well. Sturdy for my 3yr old to play with/on. We returned a much less expensive Black and Decker tool bench for this quality, in hopes of longevity. Happy so far! We don’t use a tablet function, and the instruction sheets that are included are easy and fun to follow. There is a lot of set up and parts to put together initially. Worth money if you have a truck and tool kid .

I will confess to feeling a twinge of masculine pride as my son and I assembled this toy workbench together; it took me back to my childhood weekends working in my uncle’s shop. Gender equality was soon restored to the household when my wife sat down to help him examine the blueprints and build the vehicles – both boys and girls can learn from, and have fun with, this awesome set and its realistic tools. Little things like watching my child successfully put in batteries, turn screws, and follow instructions (sort of) filled me with a different kind of pride, the feeling I think all parents want to have when playing with their kids. Highly recommended.

Cute. It works well and the app that goes with it is educational. At times it doesn’t sense some of the food, but I think it is very clever. It is a small sized kitchen, but it works well for 1 child.

Set this up last night and my son has been playing with it non-stop for the last 5 hours today! He absolutely LOVES it!! The setup was super easy and so far all pieces and parts work.
I’ve noticed after connecting and playing with the app, once you shut down the app the facet and stove sounds don’t work until you turn off and then back on.
Overall has been great so far!

LOVE this kitchen set! Almost got suckered into a more realistic-looking wooden one but I’m so glad I went with this. There’s so many different features and I love all of the sound effects. Only took maybe 30 minutes to put together. The app is fabulous, my son plays with it for hours and we’ve had no issues with connectivity errors. Very pleased!

My 2 small girls LOVE this kitchen. Mom and dad also love how interactive it is. We attach our Leap Frog to it & use it with the downloaded app. Wish there was better storage for all the food and appliances that come with it, but happy with the quality

Got this for my 4 y/o and she loved it for the first week but then got bored with the lack of progression. The recipes are her favorite activity but they only have 3 steps, and she has a problem with them when they aren’t accurate such as only a carrot in the pot to make vegetable soup. This would’ve been great for her on her second birthday not fourth.

I gave this 4 stars for a few reasons. And for the record I paid $90 for this when It was on sale and I’m glad I didn’t spend much more than that on it. It’s even smaller than I expected it to be and I really wish there was more storage to it.
The slots where the 2 plates go will only hold 1 of them and the other just rolls back out.
The fridge door doesn’t close all the way.
The small shelf on the top right corner is pointless because it’s too small to actually hold anything.
The long shelf that’s supposed to hold the salt and pepper shakers need to have a lip or bar on it to actually hold them up there because they will constantly just fall off.
And I wish the oven and and fridge didn’t taper in so much on the inside so that You could fit more in it.
I would’ve given it 3 stars because of all those things and the fact that it had previously been priced waaay to high but my kids love it.
The app is fun and my son really likes that and all the extras it comes with are really nice.
The fact that you can pull the tomatoes and apples off the vine and cut them in half is really cool.
I wish the actual kitchen was more interactive without using the app and I wish it had a microwave and a phone with it like some of the others I looked at.
All in all it’s a good kitchen set and it’s super cute. It would be so much better if it was a little larger though.
First let me say that my 5 year old son loves this toy because it combines the use of the app. It’s entertaining but not as educational as I thought it would be. The app is a little plain, yes it recognizes food which is cool, but the recipe for apple pie is to just put the pie in the oven. My son wanted to chop apples to put in the pie, but the recipe didn’t call for that. The big downside for us is that it is a nightmare to put together. Some of the pieces were a little bent, not bad, but it made it difficult to couple. The screw holes were more like slats and made it difficult to line up and connect. Overall we are happy with it but I’m not as blown away as I thought we’d be.

I would’ve given it 3 stars because of all those things and the fact that it had previously been priced waaay to high but my kids love it.
The app is fun and my son really likes that and all the extras it comes with are really nice.
The fact that you can pull the tomatoes and apples off the vine and cut them in half is really cool.
I wish the actual kitchen was more interactive without using the app and I wish it had a microwave and a phone with it like some of the others I looked at.
All in all it’s a good kitchen set and it’s super cute. It would be so much better if it was a little larger though.

Bought this for my 1 year old. She loves it and so does her brother. the interactive app is pretty cool. I didn’t realize almost everything they do on the kitchen shows up in the app. it knows when you are cutting things and what you are cutting, turning the water on and off. It’s really cool.
I like how the product isn’t huge which is nice that it is entertaining without v taking up too much space.

All the accessories are just too cool. The lightweight plastic of the cups and plates and salt/pepper shakers fall off the shelves easily but the light weight means he’s not going to hurt himself when they fall, so I’m good with it.
However. Every time you turn it on, you have to start the app on your tablet and synchronize it with the kitchen just as if it’s the first time. It can take a while, sometimes I need to restart both kitchen and tablet a couple times each, and I’ve found I need to remove other Bluetooth items from the living room to speed up the process or make it work more reliably. So if you have a Fitbit or a cell phone, turn off Bluetooth or put them on the other end of the house before you try to turn it on.
The app seems great, my 3 year old doesn’t always want to follow along with the recipes but prefers them over the free play option. I tend to limit screen time but what’s cool about this is it’s still a learning toy that requires him to use fine motor skills, pay attention, follow instructions AND it has a screen. So he is enamored with it and I am happy he’s learning. He thinks it’s cool that he’s cooking like mama.

We got this kitchen for Christmas. I like how there is plenty of pretend play with or without the tablet but I do like that the app challenges my kid and keeps her interested. It is very cute. the accessories are well made. It comes with everything you need. My kid has been playing with this non stop since Christmas. I even find this toy fun to play with. I only wish that it was a little bigger and that it had a drawer and a cabinet for extra storage. The drawer is just a sticker but it would be nice to have a functioning drawer. Also we are having trouble with it recognizing the pan. lastly it wont connect to our older ipad which we were planning to use strictly for this so now she has to use my husbands new ipad which isnt ideal.

My 4 year old is in love with this kitchen. We have a cheap tablet running the app for the play set and it works perfectly. Completely satisfied with this purchase and the price tag was better than what it was in toysrus.

The app has a free play, games, cooking recipes, etc. and connection to the smart device is easy. I highly recommend this play kitchen. The sounds are great, especially when connected to the app! The app recognizes all the accessory items, like the veggies, pan, pizza, etc. when they are placed on the “cutting board.” The sounds without the app include the oven opening and closing and the stove. I thought the placement of the wifi connect button was in a bad place (thinking my one year old would push it constantly and disconnect the connection to the iPad) but that’s not the case. Even if she pushes it, it does not disconnect from the iPad. I’m hoping there are additional accessories to purchase of the kitchen that work with the app.
Despite my “highly recommended” comment, there are a few cons: you do need a power drill to put the kitchen together, we also needed a box cutter since the hole for the sink did not line up correctly once we installed the counter top. The second thing (which is probably rare occurrence), is that there is a hole at the back of the oven. It looks like not enough plastic was poured into the mold so the plastic was too think and a hole formed. I’ve uploaded a picture. We waiting until Christmas Eve to put the kitchen together, otherwise I would have sent it back and asked for a new one. I recommend opening the box to make sure there are no defects to the item.
Overall… I highly recommend this play kitchen.

Ever since she has has opened it on Christmas she hasn’t stopped playing with it! Easy to put togther and is not to bulky once up. Comes with plenty of accessories to begin with but I purchased more food as some are bound to get lost. Love the fact the kitchen makes interactive sounds, the tap makes running water sounds and the stove makes either a sizzling or boiling sound depending on what oan is used. The oven has light as well. The chopping board is interactive also this is fun when using the kitchen with a smart device.
The only let down I have of this kitchen so far is that because it uses bluetooth technology to work on a smart device we are finding that it keeps losing its signal (could be my tablet, yet to try another device) and so the app doesn’t work like we would want it too which can be frustrating. Missing parts... otherwise great produc
Looks great and I know my kids will love it. BUT it’s Christmas Eve and I can finally put it together, it going great till I realize I’m missing a lot of accessories. Pretty hard to cook in an interactive play kitchen without all the interactive parts, food and pans. I still had to put it together all the way because this is their big Christmas present yet they won’t be able to use it like they’ve seen on tv. Otherwise I would of given this a 5 star review.
UPDATE: Amazon customer service was a great help, my kids still couldn’t play with it on Christmas but it got resolved shortly after.
My 18 month old son loves it. We haven’t used the tablet mode yet, we just have been playing with it.
It was easy to put together but the stickers only give you once chance to line it up. So ours ended up slightly crooked since I didn’t do a good job at lining them up.
The screws were all there but you do have to push through the plastic when screwing then in. Many toddler toys are like this so I don’t think it’s a con. It was easy to do.
The basket holder clip and oven magnets are not in the same bag as the other parts so I can see how they could easily get lost. So if your putting it together be careful since some bags with the other toy parts of the kitchen actually contain parts you need.
The only cons are trying to find all the pieces , and the noises from them kitchen do get annoying since my toddler loves to leave them on . But it is fun for a toddler to play with so it’s worth it.

The kitchen box is a perfect fit for all the contents inside, they are all slotted next to each other. I just tipped the box and it all came out together.
Little Tikes Cook ‘n Learn kitchen instructions
Included was stickers, kitchen accessories, kitchen instructions & assembly instructions. The assembly
instructions were very simple to understand. They are in number order simply telling me which pieces are needed and where they need to go with a diagram of all pieces to refer back to if needed.Little Tikes Cook ‘n Learn kitchen box contents
I started by adding the stickers which were indeed super sticky and not the type that will start to peel away after a few months, I aligned them up and applied to the correct places. The stickers are really good quality which will last for a long time and will wipe clean.
I needed a screwdriver throughout the assembly of the kitchen (not supplied.) The sink section requires 4x AA batteries, that aren’t included in the product. I have since bought a rechargeable battery unit and batteries as I know this is going to be well loved for years so planning ahead!
After applying the stickers it was pretty straight forward what I needed to do next. Add the magnet holder for the oven door, towel bar, counter top and kitchen wall.
I found that when I needed to screw one piece into another there was no guide hole on the 2nd piece to line the pieces up together so when I was trying to line up the counter top I found it did seem unaligned. After a few attempts I managed to get it aligned, then inserted the sink unit into place with the oven light being inserted at the same time through a hole which reaches down inside the oven then I added the tap until it clicked into place.
Next was for me to fit the mobile device holder which just simply slots in to the back of the kitchen wall and secured by 6 screws. I added the kitchen hood, the utensil bar then screwed the counter top to the back of the kitchen wall then added the basket which stores ingredients to the bottom front of the kitchen.
All I needed to do now was insert my tablet device, the kitchen fits any size device. Slide the support bracket which fits securely to the top of the device and when that was in position there is a locking clip at the back which is flipped up and my device is in a very secure position and won’t topple off when being used by my children.. then we were ready to play!
I downloaded the app from the Play Store, synchronized the kitchen with my Samsung tablet, which was a simple process all I needed to do was press the Signal button on the kitchen and turn my Bluetooth on from my device and it is connected within about 5 seconds. For the first time play it is advised that you check for updates which I did, it didn’t take long at all.
The Little Tikes Cook N Learn Kitchen is well suited for my daughter who is three and son who is aged six. They are both always very keen to help in kitchen, when Mummy or Daddy are cooking. Since receiving this my daughter is always following me into the kitchen when she knows that I am preparing tea, she really enjoys cutting up potatoes and grapes with her ‘big girl knife’.
On the app there are two age modes to choose from ‘Toddler’ or ‘Pre-School’
The app aims to teach:- letters, numbers, colors, following directions, cause & effect and food facts.
In each mode there are:-
Games
‘Spot what’s missing’ — compare 2 plates of food on the app 1 item is removed from 1 and then you need to find the fruit/vegetable which is missing and place it on the chopping board.
‘Plant to plate’ — Follow the steps shown on the app by getting your food from plant to plate before time runs out!
‘Guess which food’ — The talking carrot gives you clues to help you guess the food he’s thinking of. Once you think you’ve got it, you place it on the chopping board and he will tell you if you have gotten it right!
Recipes
There are a wide selection of foods that your child can make. They select which they would like to choose and follow the instructions step by step for making delicious meals!
Music
Choose from classic nursery tunes, each with special written lyrics that teach letters, numbers and how different plants grow and become food
Free Play
The kitchen comes with 46 accessories so there is lots to do! The Free Play section allows your child to explore by allowing you to play as you normally would. With the kitchen being interactive they will recognize when placing items in places.
When you place the pan on the hob it will show you on the screen that it is being placed, and if you add a vegetable it will show you adding it on the screen into the pan. The kitchen reacts to play with realistic sounds i.e. if you place the pan on the hob you will hear the ‘clunk’ sound.
Switching on the tap makes the sound of running water which also interacts to the screen and shows you running water coming out the tap on the screen whilst your child plays.
When you open the oven door the light comes on in the inside which allows your child to check on their food whilst cooking. This is a great addition as they often see me checking the oven when cooking or baking.
There are also volume settings on the kitchen which you can set as loud/medium/off.
Throughout the app, after completing challenges you will get to choose a sticker of your choice and place it on your sticker board and after 5 stickers you get a trophy, our trophy selection is forever growing!
My children like to take turns and also play together a lot. I find once we have selected our ‘toddler or preschool mode’ we were unable to go back and change the mode again. I would have to exit the app and re load it to go back to the home screen.
I also think that this kitchen would benefit an expansion pack to include different meats. So it would include learning about all the different meats and which animal they come from to teach a children that meat comes from animals, not supermarkets.
The app character speaks American and says things like ‘tomato sauce’ for tomato soup, I think it would be great if you could set your language for the app as now my son is saying ‘Tom’A’to’ instead of ‘Tom’arto’.

my sons favorite part on the app is ‘spot what’s missing’ he likes that he can go and find the missing item and that the app will know if he is right or wrong when it is placed on the chopping board.
My daughter really enjoys making her own recipes and is always clicking on to make the pizza and putting it in the pan then in the oven.
The kitchen really has hit 10/10 marks from me and even my son has gave it a 10/10 AND a thumbs up!
The quality of the kitchen is very impressive. The equipment will last for many many years as they’re sturdy items and no flimsy bits that will snap after a few hours play.
The amount of hours that they have already had playing with the Little Tikes Cook ‘n Learn Smart Kitchen just shows what a good quality set this is. It is even fun-filled without using the app as it is still an interactive kitchen i.e. when adding the pan on to the stove it will still ‘clunk’, and tap still makes running water noises and oven light still comes on.
It would be an excellent choice for a birthday present or Christmas gift if you are looking for that ‘big toy’.
