Barrel handle type cordless jig saw

The DJV181Z is a cordless jigsaw powered by 18V Li-ion battery (not included) with brushless motor to deliver up to 3,500 rpm, 390 watt maximum output. The variable speed control dial enables the user to match the speed to the application for optimal cutting performance in a variety of materials. Tool-less blade clamp for easy blade attachment and removal, change lever for 3 orbital settings plus straight cutting for use in a wide range of materials and bevel cuts to 45 degrees right and left and positive stops at 90 degrees for solid cutting performance.

The DJV181Z has a “soft no load” function, it automatically reduces the motor speed during idling to suppress the vibration of the machine body. Electronic push button switch, including lock off button is located on both sides of the housing.

The dust nozzle can be attached for connection to a Makita vacuum cleaner.

Start stop can be a bit difficult to start with. I find it ok. Not as bad as some reviews. The price on Amazon was the best I could find. 43.00 cheaper than screwfix.

Have the first one and that was good but this beats it hands down.
Gives a very good and straight cut and happy to recommend it, plus a friend at work is looking to get it too

After always trying to use any other tool but the jigsaw in the past this is now going to be my goto tool when notching out for pipes and doing scribes. Not having to hold down two buttons to start it and not having to constantly hold down the trigger is a game changer, it gives you the freedom to hold it in position and move to a more comfortable position to complete the cut. The soft start until under load takes a few times to get used too but it does allow you to be more accurate

Easy to use with this style of handle. Glad I purchased this. Only slight dislike is the soft start. It can suddenly take you by surprise and run away from you

Top Gert. Liegt super in der Hand. Das Gert hat berraschend so viel Kraft, meine Handkreissge kann wohl in den Ruhestand gehen.

Noch nie hatte ich eine so gute Stichsge in der Hand und in Gebrauch. Vibrationen sind so gut wie nicht zu spren; Schnittleistung und Fhrung ist absolut Ausgezeichnet. Nur der Schnellwechsel Spanner wre mir in Metall lieber als in Hartplastik! Und wer viel schneiden will oder muss sollte unbedingt zwei oder besser drei 5Ah Akkus zur Verfgung haben, denn die gute Leistung bentigt auch viel Energie. Meine Kaufempfehlung ist auf jeden Fall klar! Top Maschine…
