The DTW700Z features auto-stop system in both forward and reverse rotation modes and trigger switch with full speed mode; variable speed mode can be changed to full speed mode by simply pushing a button. In full speed mode, the trigger travel is shorter, therefore the full speed is reached quicker.
Please Note: The DTW700Z is not compatible with G-Series batteries.

The DTW700Z is a compact and lightweight, cordless Impact Wrench, powered by 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery (not included) to supply energy to the powerful 18V brushless motor, with variable speed controlled by trigger, to deliver up to 2,700 ipm, 2,200 rpm, 700 Nm maximum fastening torque and 1,000 Nm nut busting torque for a wide range of applications.
The DTW700Z is equipped with forward and reverse rotation, electric brake for increased operator safety, LED job light to illuminate the work area and electronic 4 stage impact power selection for maximum, high, medium and soft to provide fastening contorl for a wide range of applications.

I got this for my son as a xmas prezzie, only because he has all the other makita stuff that uses the same battery, but body only very expensive, with battery even more so… but I have not heard anything bad about it, thats why the 4 stars, I would never have bought it for myself, but its what he wanted… and it was xmas….

Great bit of kit - tough as old boots
I got this one as I have other cordless Makita kit and I really rate them as good as the wired ones. I have a 350nm, 1898nm impact wrenches and now this 700nm in my tool kit. At 700nm this is very powerful yet lighter and smaller than the really heavy 1898nm that can snap of bolt heads leaving me with issues to fix. I have used this on lug nuts, tough engine bolts and alloy suspension legs arms without issue. Not a single failure to extract or a single snapped bolt even when heavily rusted and oxidised. It starts off low and will increase power till the fixing loosens and comes out. I think this is one of the best I have used and is now my go to wrench.

Es Makita… entonces ya sabemos que es calidad, no hay mucho que contar.
Tiene muchsima fuerza y adems tiene 4 niveles de fuerza (preestablecidos, no puedes regular los Nm exactamente).
Lo us para quitar el tornillo de la polea del cigueal de un 4×4 y… lo sac simplemente acariciando el botn… sin ninguna dificultad! brutal!

Ich wollte mir einen Schlagschrauber gnnen, der genug Kraft fr alle Eventualitten hat.
Was braucht man und was nicht? Wer wei es vorher. Also lieber Kraft haben als brauchen.
Reichen die 300’er oder lieber den 700’er oder gar 1000’er?
Ich entschied mich fr den 700’er, die Mitte quasi. Oder sagen wir das obere Drittel des Leistungsspektrums. Weil Leistung hat das Ding echt ohne Ende. Htte da nicht das 1 kg leichtere Gert der 300’er Serie gereicht? Vielleicht.
Wahrscheinlich sogar.
Nachteil dieses Schraubers ist das hohe Eigengewicht. Kleinere (Leistungschwchere) sind da wesentlich leichter und handlicher.
Der Preis ist recht hoch, das man eigentlich gleich zur 1000’er Serie greifen kann. Aber wie bereits erwhnt: Das hohe Gewicht!
Also alles in einem ein top Gert das alle Aufgaben meistert. Super verarbeitet.

Makita Schlagschraube
Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Schlagschrauber. brigens es ist normal das der Akkuhalter leicht beweglich ist. Hat der Makita Dtw 1001 auch.

I bought this soon after buying a 1998 Range Rover. Far too many bolts have been in place for 20+ years and are almost welded on. So far I’ve used it a handful of times and it takes the bolt straight off. These have included suspension and steering dampers where the torque for the bolts is very high. This might be an expensive tool, but like the best ones it just works. Very glad I bought this and I’m sure to use it again in future.

Looks well built and tough , a bit heavier and bigger that I thought but better than using the heavyweight models got on a Black Friday special for 165 pounds
Power ohne Ende
Fr mich zu viel Power und zu schwer, daher nicht vielfach einsatzfhig. bin auf den 300nm kleineren Schlagschrauber von Makita umgestiege

Ein Punkt Abzug da die falsche Bedienungsanleitung mitgeschickt worden ist. Es war leider eine Bedienungsanleitung fr einem Schlagbohrschrauber DHP485 dabei…

Ich habe den Schlagschrauber hauptschlich zum Rderwechsel an meinem PKW gekauft.
Es ist ein tolles Gert ,lsen und festziehen der Schrauben ist ein Kinderspiel . Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Excellent produit qui marche fort, vraiment pas du de l’achat. Les diffrents modes c’est ingnieux et efficace, les 700nm sont largement suffisants pour un usage de particulier ( mme en pro je pense lol )
Brilliant tool, albeit expensive. First use was to replace the brake pads and discs on my vehicle. Great for undoing the wheel nuts and various other bolts of the brake callipers and discs!
