Quality, sturdy and compact — Buy √
Bought to replace 15 yr old DeWalt corded/battery water vac, this as expected does not have the suction but good enough for water, I don’t use for dry (have fitted the wet filter optional).
Better in reviews than Milwaukee but also have Makita tools batts so saving cost.
    I’d recomend it.
Never leave water in collection sump, empty and dry it or motor will deteriorate as in my old’n !

I like the fact it is portable and lightweight but for the price I think they should have included the shoulder strap. The Milwaukee version seems to be a little stronger. But since I prefer makita products for their balance and customer service I went with thie Makita vacuum

    Portable hoove
Brilliant little machine, can’t understand why it has some negative reviews, obviously it has limitations but is an excellent vacuum for it size and cordless power makes it a must for light duties that has exceeded my expectations. Ps, good suctio

Appreciate it, the only imperfection is the lack of a shoulder strap.

    Practical. Simple. Works.
If you’ve subscribed to the Makita 18v way of doing things this will be another useful addition. If you haven’t then it will be a good place to start. Great for clearing up after jobs or getting into more awkward places around the house. Good for cars and vans too. Some reviewers have commented that the hose is too short for hooking up to sanders etc. but for general use it is more than long enough and it wraps around the casing for easy storage. If it was any longer it wouldn’t be so easy to carry about or store. Suction is more than adequate. I got a generic brush and adaptor which I modified to fit. If you want a longer hose (Makita might make an extension but I haven’t looked) then I’m sure one of the many hoses available on Amazon would fit or could be adapted to fit.

i never use it to suck up dust lol
his works best as a blower. i use it to blow off the chopsaw at the end of day and also use it for blowing out the dust when fitting locks and latches.
im always finding a use for this, the best use yet had to be during the heatwave and blowing the sweat off your back. so good and battery lasts quite a while if not using it as an extractor.
hurt my hand a couple times on the handle, bad design flaw meaning when u lean on the handle a little it folds down and clamps ur hand, hurt like hell

Found it very handy and easy to use.
Would suggest using a 5ah battery.
For some reason it didn’t come with a shoulder strap.

Suction is fantastic, battery life with 5ohm battery is fantastic, nice and compact and not too loud, only wish they had an extra filter but would definitely recommend

Wish it could have a little more suction power and a longer pipe… But very nice vacuum overall and durable

    It sucks!!
Just get 1 it’s so handy I use it in my shed/workshop as I have no plug sockets in there, I can connect it to my sander works a treat haven’t tried other tools so far. The thing that people don’t talk about is that it also blows and is great for cleaning shavings/ sanding/cleaning out the filter of the hoover it’s self. Plus hoovering the car is so easy. Love it !!

Love everything about this hoover. Have all makita kit. Was actually surprised how much suction power it has and how long it runs on a single battery. On a 4amh I get around an hour. Used on both settings depending what I’m sucking up. I’m in the building trade so use it everyday. Very good as a dust extractor too connected to tools. Could do with a longer hose and maybe include connectors for tools. But sturdy lightweight and super easy to clean out. Must have for anyone who works inside. Great for the car too as its a wet and dry .highly recommended bit of ki

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersUse this almost everyday. Its not the most powerful compared to a corded vac but gets the job done. Works great for emptying toilets when they need to be removed and replaced was suprised how well it worked. Im only giving a 4 because the suction could be stronger and the hose needs to be longer.

    Very very good.
This is a nice compact little Hoover has quite a good suction and of course is battery powered. I bought this hoover as the job I am on at present requires me to have a Hoover which is hepa filtered which of course this one is. A good little Hoover.
