UC3541A/2 240 V 35 cm Electric Chainsaw
The UC3541A/2 240 V Electric Chainsaw is powered by 1,800 watt motor, to deliver up to 14.5 metres per second for faster cutting.
The Electric Chainsaw features tool-less blade change, has an adjustment lever for easier tool-less saw chain/tension adjustment and adjustable automatic chain oil pump, oils the chain for continuous cutting. A large separate-type metal spike bumper, spike grips the workpiece firmly to provide more control, chain brake and kickback brake for operator safety and a large trigger switch.
It has a large view window of the oil tank, to allow the operator to easily check oil level.

Bella e maneggevole
Non sono una grande esperta quindi vi dico la mia esperienza! Mi serviva per tagliare degli alberi che avevo in giardino, tronchi non tanto grandi.
leggera e maneggevole, non ho avuto nessun problema nel montarla, ho solo notato che la catena resta parecchio lenta, quindi devo sistemarla spesso.
Per il resto tutto ok, ho avuto quello che mi aspettavo. Sono molto soddisfatta!

After reading some negative comments about the quality and sturdiness of this tool, must confess that I made an excellent decision buying it.
It is highly probable that these negative reviews are from people who do not have a clue on how to use a chainsaw…
This one is perfectly fit for its purpose. Of course, if you try to cut a Sequoia, will not work. But for small to medium sized branches and logs, is perfect. And this is what this tool is made for.
Makita does not disappoint.
I made a 40m extension cable so I can reach most of my olive farm. The machine is light, as safe as a chainsaw will ever be :S with all the correct PPE on but it's nice to handle, quieter than a petrol one and starts easily.

4days solid logging without issue
Brilliant little saw, chain still sharp, stretched a bit, but this is easily accommodated by tensioning mechanism, might have had an air lock in the oil system as one fill up didn’t take as much oil and seemed to disappear very quickly from the gauge. Would definitely recommend over petrol for situations where cable won’t be a problem, it’s slightly slower to cut, but let the saw do the work and it cut 35cm dia. Logs all day without faff of stop starting petrol one.
Kettenspanner ist Manko, sonst alles gut.
Schn leicht und liegt gut in der Hand, einfach im Zusammenbau+Bedienung, sehr sauberer Schnitt und die Lautstrke ist im angenehmen Bereich.
Der Kettenspanner fhlt sich etwas weich an und muss behandelt werden wie eine kleine Mimose. An der falschen Stelle gespart, sonst gewohnte Makita Qualitt.
Definitiv nichts fr gewerbliche Ansprche, aber fr den privaten Garten eine gutes Produkt. Bei entsprechender Pflege und Vorsicht im Umgang mit dem Kettenspanner wird es bestimmt lange halten.

Was unsure which make of chain saw to buy for cutting new sleepers but am so glad I paid that little bit more.
The chain adjustment is easier than I thought and overall it works amazing like a knife through butter.

Usata per tagliare due alberi di mimosa pudica, da circa 50 cm di diametro, non ha accusato mai problemi. Ho affilato due volte la catena ed a livello elettromeccanico si dimostrata molto affidabile.

Magari l'avessi presa prima
Costretto ad eliminare parecchi metri di vecchia siepe ed a potare qualche albero mi son deciso a comprare una motosega ed ho optato per questa marca/modello. Non ne ho fatto un utilizzo intensivo ancora ma posso dire che mi trovo molto bene, taglia benissimo ed semplice da preparare ed utilizzare (serve comprare olio specifico a parte), anche per chi come me non un professionista.

Good saw ideal for the garden.
Seems sturdy enough but the main problem is the chain and blade which can easily become dislodged, maybe I was being overconfident the first time when cutting through some heavy hedge but the chain came off, after refitting the chain I must have hit a thick branch and the blade worked loose, but I’m prepared to admit it could be down to user error, although I believe if they is a fault it’s where the blade fits with the adjustment screw. I have since cut through branches 50mm or more with ease, the saw is a lot quieter than a petrol saw and is ideal for the keen gardener but not for a professional.

Arrivata con lama da montare e seguendo le istruzioni facilmente si monta. Presa per fare legna e tagliare rami nel giardino. Leggera e robusta, facile ed intuitiva da usare. Ottima marca

Per un utilizzo domestico, svolge perfettamente il suo compito, non inquina, non crea problemi nella messa in moto.

Non la prima motosega che uso, ma la prima elettrica. Rispetto a 2 diversi modelli di motosega (alpina di almeno 20anni fa e STIHL di qualche anno fa, questa per non mia) mi ha sorpreso, nonostante le dimensioni pi compatte e nonostante fosse elettrica ha dimostrato una potenza che non mi sarei aspettato… Rispetto ad una a motore dovrebbero esserci anche meno problemi. Come materiali per siamo su un altro livello… Le plastiche sono di buona qualit (sicuramente gran parte nylon rinforzato con fibra di vetro, la leva di sicurezza no per, come la copertura del tendicatena), ma ci sono anche alcuni dettagli che sono un pochino sottodimensionati imho (tendicatena in primis).
Tutto sommato sono soddisfatto, anche se ci sarebbero questi piccoli difettucci da correggere. Peccato anche non averci pensato prima, o meglio, se solo la vecchia alpina avesse fatto i capricci un mesetto prima avrei trovato un’ottima offerta per un modello della dolmar (praticamente identico a questo, dolmar parte del gruppo makita), meno di 50!! Peccato davvero.

So I’ve “wanted a chainsaw” for some time, but really haven’t had the need for one until recently. A gardening project involving 80+ hardwood railway sleepers, many of which needed a cut, finally gave me the excuse I needed.
I’m a fan of Makita tools, and given this was a one off project couldn’t justify the battery powered version (which may well not have been able to cope), and from an ease of use perspective an electric corded chainsaw is just so much better/lower maintenance & probably much safer to use than a petrol version.
So I got this version, and was somewhat apprehensive at using it, as I’ve not used chainsaws before. So with the correct PPE, and having (for once) thoroughly read the user guide I set about using it – and was hugely impressed.
With no mucking about starting the engine it is simplicity itself once you get used to it, and the appropriate precautions. It just kept going and going, slicing through oak railway sleepers with ease and a complete lack of drama. Absolutely no mess/fuss at all. Being new then keeping an eye on the chain tension was needed, and a couple of adjustments over the two days or so of use was all that was necessary. The chain oil didn’t visibly change level at all, and I think a lot of use is necessary to make a dint in that.
So this was a perfect tool to cope with the job, and I’d really recommend it to anyone needing one. For me this saved countless hours sawing/messing about to cut through the sleepers – and as the timber yard charges 3 a cut it more than paid for itself in one job.

This is a fantastic bit of kit, I used mine steady away to cut down about a dozen willow trees that had grown out of control. This machine did the job perfectly and at a great price. Just keep an eye on the chain oil level as it soon goes through it and never once did I need to tighten the chain. Absolutely chuffed!!

Kann man nichts falsch machen. Akku hlt gut durch, ca 30m kleinere Hecken geschnitten, schneiden sind scharf und die Heckenschere macht einen soliden Eindruck.

La qualit costruttiva ottima, d un’idea di solidit. Per trovare un limite direi il peso, non una macchina leggera e non si pu usare con una sola mano senza correre rischi o stancarsi, a meno di essere un Hulk.
Per un uso domestico per perfetta. Poi volete mettere il fatto che si innesta la spina e si parte? dimentico le bestemmie e le arrabbiature delle macchine con motore endotermico….e questo vale sicuramente l’acquisto.
