Handy and affordable Guitar for beginners
I am beginner and purchased this guitar in lockdown days. I have learn few cords and it’s very handy. Light weight and properly sync guitar. It has multiple pick and extra strings.
I was habitual very soon. It was packed up perfectly and amazon delivered it very soon. Thanks for this guitar.
Ideal for beginners

She’s a beautiful guitar – first one I have ever owned. I don’t know how a premium guitar is supposed to sound but I am well pleased with the progress I have made on this entry level instrument. As I progress, I will definitely invest in higher quality instruments. For now it must be said that this guitar has neither hindered my learning progress nor has it ever offended my ears with poor quality sounds. I cannot blame the tool for my shortcomings. Best part about being a beginner is that you don’t need to know what elite sounds like. All you need is perseverance, patience and above all else PASSION!

Guitar is fine, tunes up easily and stays tuned after the first few hours of playing. Not the best in the world but an excellent budget guitar.
Guitar body was damaged upon arrival (packaging wasn’t though); chipped and cracked at the base of the back panel, other minor aesthetic damage. Hasn’t hindered performance but would be very disappointing if (say) it was a gift.
Free plectrums are rubbish; broke within minutes (two of them). Strap is “myeh”; not very nice feel, but fulfills its purpose.
A great little guitar. Brought from Amazon warehouse as it was scuffed and I wanted a cheap guitar just to have out all the time to practice on. I’ve used it as a practice guitar. I Brought some decent strings for it as the ones it has doesn’t and didn’t stand up to much playing. On my, what a punch. A good sound really surprised me. During lock down I have used it 10 hours a day. It’s already given me a good many hours of music. Yes it hasn’t got the resonating tone of a solid wood accoustic. But for under 50 you can’t complain. In fact it’s most probably the best value guitar I’ve come across. If you play and want a good quick accoustic to have out all the time, which your not bothered about getting scratches etc.. A must. (just upgrade the strings)
If your a beginner and want to start, a good kit to buy to start with and Get a feel. I think brand new on here is around 59…
But you Get a good playable guitar, spare strings (id recommend getting a better set) plectrum, strap and a little card with some basic chords on. Well worth it. And a good investment.

Had to return the first one the box was intact however the guitar itself was scuffed and dinted with paint chipped off. Second arrived with damaged box but thankfully guitar in tact. Easy to use great for beginners.

I bought this guitar in 2018 where it very quickly became an ecosystem for dust in my spare room. I played it on and off for a year learning the simple cowboy chords (A, Am, C, G etc).
In October 2019 I went to the guitar shop and got some new strings and have consistently played it everyday for at least 30 minutes since and as a result I have really been able to bring out the best of this cheap guitar.
As I was learning I was concerned with the quality finding that when playing some chords they were sounding a bit sitar like. but the more I played the more I realised it was down to me being a beginner. I would recommend taking it to your local music shop and asking them about some new strings just so you know exactly what your getting.
Now i’m looking for my next guitar which I will purchase in the next 6 months, I can definately hear the differenc when watching youtube videos or playing more expensive guitars in the shop. For example its easy to hear the warmth of a Gibson or Seagull (what i’m considering) but as far as learning the guitar I would highly recommend this guitar.

Snazzy looking guitar. We purchased in black and daughter is thrilled. You get a set of replacement strings with guitar. Depending on option you go for you may have to get separate case.
The guitar looks good and plays well. Needs tuning quite often but apparently thst is nomal for a new guitar.

I bought two Martin Smith guitars recently. One had a very minor problem. I contacted Amazon who exchanged it for me immediately and with absolutely no cost to myself. I was very impressed and grateful for Amazon’s very professional support. I honestly believe that I have nothing to worry about when shopping with Amazon.
Great sounding guitar with a nice action, especially for the price. Getting a strap, spare strings and plectrums included is also a plus.

I received this marvellous instrument for Christmas and was delighted to discover how fantastic the sound, quality and extra bits and bobs that came with it are! For 50, a generous price for a guitar, it could be mistaken for a Yamaha which would have been an extra 50 but taking the gamble was certainly worth it.

However, there were shards of wood like bits coming out of the guitar when it was held upside down which simply made a mess, nothing a brush and scoop couldn’t fix though! Apart from that, I am pleased with my purchase 🙂

Can’t go wrong with the price
Bought this guitar 10 months ago and loving it. Everything has held up even with me giving it less than perfect care. Action is a little on the high side but not too bad and toughened up my hands to be able to play on high action guitars.sounds pretty good and holds in tune in pretty well. Perfect for motivated beginners. No real Criticisms of the guitar. It’s a bargain for 60
when i ordered its was nearly christmas and it came on time !!packaging was good when i opened it and checked the contents i was extreemly happy with it brought it for my boyfriend and was on a budget was well worth it !! he wasnt keen on the name but after trying it out he was well happy and his learning to play as improved thankyou

Good product but the strings are very tough. For any beginners I would recommend to change these before starting any lessons.
Really pleased with my purchase 1 year down the line, the guitar has taken a little bit of wear and tear, but overall it is in great condition and it still plays like a dream. I have had no issues with sound or handling and I can honestly say I am really pleased with this purchase still to this day. If you are a beginner or you are thinking about taking up guitar like I was a year ago, then this is a great buy at a great price!
Bought this in April and I have played it every day, it is a great guitar for the price. I have had the action lowered a little and put some lighter strings on it which as a complete beginner made it easier on my poor fingers (but they have toughened up now). I would highly recommend this to a beginner.

Decided to teach myself how to play guitar and didn`t want to spend too much on my 1st. For 46 quid this was an obvious choice and i`m not disappointed at all.
The guitar itself is ok quality, feels quite nice and fits me well. Comes with a nice little pack of extras, it was well packaged and was delivered within 24 hours.
Can`t say much more. All is in order and i`m really happy with this purchase.

i used a free app on android to tune my guitar and was surprised it worked perfectly, really scary to tune it as i constantly thought i was going to far and that the string were going to snap but they didn’t and haven’t even after alot of play.
Not up there with a Fender or Yamaha but it’s a cheaper alternative and the sound quality is there.

It’s my second guitar and it’s nice — IF — you change strings but for that money you can’t have anything better and around 5 for new strings is not too much These original strings will cut your fingers and their sound is not pretty good.

Brilliant beginner guitar. Its cheap but looks decent and sounds ok. The action is a bit higher than I wanted and that’s why a few on here are saying about a buzz so im going to lower it a little. also a little more effort to play as you have to really press down.
I had no dents, scratches it came in pristine condition. I have no defects on it at all.

Fantastic acoustic guitar, however...
Delivery was free and came in 3 days, Very high quality nice guitar, the only problem is however is that some of the tuning knobs are too wobbly, i’m assuming they were damaged during delivery, that’s a shame but you can still still get it in tune it won’t last as long, this is why i’m giving it 4/5 stars, great product at a low price but it is a risky choice as yes, it can be damaged during delivery, If you can I’d recommend getting an acoustic guitar from a instrument shop directly. If you’re low on cash and want it at your door then this is probably the 2nd best option.

Purchased a while back to start learning the guitar as complete beginner. It came quick + had a couple spare strings, a shoulder strap and some leaflets to help with some introductory lessons which I thought was great.
The guitar itself does the job, I think it’s exactly what you pay for. Still in one piece after about 6 months. I use guitar tuning apps to tune the guitar, as I don’t know how to my self.

The guitar came swiftly, it is very good value for money. Plays well, is sturdy and has stood up to many hours of strumming (had it for about a year)
Only downside is that the fret board blackens your finger tips after a lot of playing due to the paint not being lacquered, otherwise it’s great!

Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter and she loved it. Due to the price I wasn’t sure if the sound produced would be good but it sounds amazing. Only one fault I could find with it was that there was only one place to attach the strap on the bottom of the guitar and not one by the neck. My daughter isn’t fussed as she sits while playing it as she is only a beginner.
Pretty awesome beginner guitar for such a cheap price. I bought the blue coloured guitar and thought the blue will be too bright for my taste. But I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and saw that the blue is actually not that bright at all. It looks almost black. The blue can only be seen if the light catches it and I think that’s pretty neat! As for the sound quality, the guitar can be shrilly sometimes when I compared it to other high quality guitars but overall it sounds quite decent once you know how to play it properly. You do have to tune the guitar once you got it. I accidentally broke one of the strings while tuning it but the guitar came with extra strings which is pretty helpful. Just watch any videos on youtube on how to restring an acoustic guitar and you should be fine (I did alright for my first time restringing a guitar! Ha!).
Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase.

Brilliant first guitar. Packaged extremely well. Arrived in pristine condition with everything it stated would come. Needed tuning and would advise learners to buy a tuner. Very happy with the product and price. Might seem cheap but not nasty. Definitely suit a beginner, maybe not a pro but great little first guitar.

Good cheap guitar but product image is false
It’s a good guitar for what it is. I’m not under any illusion, I mean look at the price. But for a complete beginner like myself, I think this does the job. Using the Eno tuner I was able to tune the guitar in around 10 minutes and start practicing via Youtube videos. My only complaint is that the image supplied here basically lies to you. The top isn’t a dark brown colour, it’s more of a synthetic yellow. And the string aren’t silver, they are also yellow. So far I’m happy that it’s all gone smoothly and that, for someone who really doesn’t know what they’re doing, the strings haven’t broken yet. I’m excited to start learning guitar, but just wish that the images were truer to reality. So just a few minor aesthetic issues but it’s all fine for now. It’s does what it says on the tin. It’s a cheap beginner guitar that does the job.

Its a decent guitar. Love it. My fingers are numb from playing it. Suggestion, add a tuner in place of the strings, more useful. Also the online courses given free are crap. Hence i have given 4 stars

I have to say after reading some reviews I was prepared to receive a less than perfect guitar for my money when I made the decision to buy this for my first guitar. However, I am delighted with the product. Speed of delivery was extremely good and the product arrived in excellent condition. I haven’t had any problems with tuning issues, using an app to assist me.
It makes a lovely sound and makes an ideal first guitar for anyone looking to learn.

I received the guitar on time, came greatly packaged – no damage. My only criticism would be that the picture doesn’t wholly represent the guitar, in fact, the guitar is quite simply blue. Not that I mind as this is a beginner guitar. So, 4 stars from me!
Really really good starter guitar, I’m in love with it and I’ve already got a lot of good use out of it. Lovely sound and although a bit rough around the edges it is a very good guitar for the price.
One complaint, there was no bolt on the bottom for my strap to go on, but there was one on the top. Don’t know what that’s all about.

Amazing Guitar for the price
i bought this guitar because i wanted to learn to play and wanted a cheap beginner guitar and it is absolutely great the online lessons are helping a lot but i have a guitar teacher on the side. it can hurt to play when you are pressing down the strings but it is better than other more advanced and expensive guitars couldn’t reccomend a better product!!!!!!

Got it for about 40 on lightning deals. It’s obviously no Yamaha but considering you get a strap, spare strings, plectrums and online lesson guides included in the price, it’s the ideal thing for a beginner. Only downside is the strings are of not too great quality and the instrument needs tuning every couple of days. Also, the colour isn’t exactly vivid blue as in the picture but black and very dark blue (black on the edges).
My husband has been banging on for ages about getting a guitar and learning how to play, so I purchased this for him last christmas, he was so made up when He saw it and started with the online lessons that came with it right the way however as months past and we are nearly a year on this now has become part of our furniture and just sits in the corner of our room so if you too have a family member that wishes to start playing the guitar this would be ideal, I’m glad I didn’t pay a fortune on a first guitar.

guitar snobs may not tell you this is the best guitar in the world, as a beginner i don’t know about that but i am perfectly happy with this instrument. Excellent value, delivered promptly, a d.v.d with your first six chords and practice pieces. Access to weekly lessons online. It didn’t come with six strings as advertised but one 1e, an Allen key and instruction sheet on changing your strings. To make life easier i also bought a six pound digital clip on tuner and recommend other beginners do same. I would recommend this kit to anyone thinking about taking up guitar .
