This master lock is strong and sturdy apart from the handle, which I thing should have been a little stronger, considering the weight of the lock. It is good for locking away all your personal documents that you don’t want to be destroyed or damaged.

I have a another firesafe but need more room, I purchased this one as it was cheap ( or at least cheaper than others) , seems good and the walls of the safe a thick , the lock isn’t the best and so a bigger hammer a chisel plus 10mins would open it. my other safe I would say would last 20 – 30 mins. but did cost twice as much. So looks good and should do the job and at a good price

This is a solid little piece of kit. It is heavy but gives confidence that it will withstand a blaze. It comes with 2 keys. The inner chamber is slightly smaller than A4, so good for important paperwork and passports. I am pleased with the purchase
Good for protecting removable drives used for back-up and important data against fire
Holds eight removable drives in their protective cases. Very easy to open, shut and lock, contents easily accessible. Have not tried it in a fire but no reason to suppose it will not work. Not designed to be thief-proof but very heavy so unlikely to be taken by amateurs. For maximum fire protection needs to be stored flat, on the floor, too big and heavy for a normal shelf, which might be a problem in a small room.

As i brought the small one i was surprised at how big the small one is.

Es wre schner, wenn Master Lock selber entsprechend geeignete Innenbehlter anbieten wrde.

Well made and sturdy. Easily fits A4 documents. 4 star as 3 keys would have been nice so you can give one to ‘next of kin’ should the worst happen. Heavy construction but do not plan to move much so an advantage. OK size for putting in the base of wardrobe. Instructions state that it most be stored on its base not on edge as in picture.

Par contre ne vous attendez pas avoir une serrure anti effraction, ce n’est pas fait pour a. Cette mallette peut facilement s’ouvrir avec un gros tournevis. Cette mallette doit tre utilis uniquement pour protger des documents ou appareils du risque incendie.
De mon cot je l’utilise en complment d’une pochette ignifuge pour scuriser mes disques durs de sauvegarde en cas de dpart de feu mon domicile.

Benutze die Kassette zum Aufbewahren von Backupfestplatten und Dokumenten. Macht einen sehr guten Eindruck.

As others have pointed out, it’s not meant to be a safe, so it’s lock is a cheap flimsy piece of plastic essentially. I’d likely be able to snap it open if I tried.

Very pleased with this cash safe and the speedy delivery. Perfect for my needs. If any one is looking to store jewellery or A4 sized papers this is NOT for you-too small for A4 and according to instructions jewellery/stamps/watches have to be put in an air tight bag first.

he lock is a bit flimsy, but thats not what I bought it for. It shuts securely and forms a seal – I submerged it in the bath and no water entered mine. Not a huge amount of room in it, but adequate for small items.

Hopefully keeps my stuff safe in the event of a fire, could do with some way to secure it to a floor etc.
More spacious than i imagined.
More spacious than I imagined & sufficient for my needs. Obviously I cannot comment upon its performance unless it was tested by fire or flood, which I hope never happens but this chest has given me peace of mind. The carrying handle is a useful addition..

Very happy with this purchase. Good quality and secure with fast and efficient delivery.
Very heavy, which is good, however I feel if a burglar found it, they could carry it away, so it needs to be hidden. Fits A4 papers fine, but deeds are a little larger and the corners of case are rounded so the corner of those papers are bent a little. No problem with key and lock. When I first opened it I thought there’s not a lot of room, however I found I was able to fit everything in, plus a little more room as there’s a recess in the top lid. I’m happy with purchase.
The box appears to be well constructed and ideal for storing documents etc. Considering the weight look for a thief with a limp, the box is heavy! Not huge internally but that is because the frame is so thick, it really looks as though it would stand up to a substantial fire and that the manufacturers claims are justified. Would recommend this box.

Seems a well made safe and must say is pretty heavy. Gas no provision as far as I can see to scurf to the floor. Therefore you need to find a secure place to hide the item in question. The inside is quite spacious for keeping your documents in. Would also just like to add that when Amazon delivered there was no hiding the fact what the item was.

Does the job
Was as described. Suitable for A4 deeds and other papers. Good handle. Heavy but not so heavy for a lady to carry upstairs.
Die Kassette macht einen soliden und stabilen Eindruck. Die Gre ist auch vllig zweckmig. Ausprobieren geht natrlich nicht.
1 Stern Abzug gibt fr unsaubere Kanten. Die sind etwas scharfkantig, aber wir haben abgeschliffen.
