It does need something to weigh down the front if you are a heavier person, and you need to be aware that the weight limit is 17.5st. The step could be in a better position
It’s a great piece of kit and it’s very challenging if you want it to be and can be gentle if you need it to be, non impact burns loss of calories and can be use for LISS or HITT training.

Update; requested a replacement but the manufacturer won’t deal with the UK directly so Amazon.co.uk stepped in and got me a speedy replacement. This one is much better, no rubbing. Click still doesn’t work though.
This is amazingly good, a workout like no other and easily stores away out of sight, product rating 10/10 superb.

Brilliant exercise machine ,got it end of JAN 18 , welding on left upright support has broke today 12.6.18., very gutted as it really gets you into shape ,full body workout. My fav was max intervals 1 min intense, 30 sec recovery, [ very slow climbing] for 20 mins.
setting up is easy has 5 height settings for the hand grips good cardio workout .
Really works. You only need 15-20minutes to feel the sweat and pain.
Great machine, just a pity the computer doesn’t work at all.

Great piece of equipment.rrally helps build leg muscle too. Started off just being able to do 10min and now am able to do 35min with a 2min break in between. Hope to get even better. Love it.
I’d say it’s great for the leg and bottom muscles but I didn’t see any difference in my biceps and triceps muscles.

Good product although no tension you still get a good workout the foot pedals are hard plastic will hurt your feet unless you wear trainers with a thick Base on them also can hurt your knees so wear knee supports and away you go!!!
Very easy to set up and use …all so like the adjustable height of the hand/arm rails ,as we have a low ceiling

Arrived earlier than expected.Easy to assemble. Does what it says on the box. Another good piece of kit to add to my collection.
Can’t tell you how easy this is to get used to. I build it into my daily routine twice to ensure that I’m getting the workout I want!
Be mindful to warm up first as I sustained an injury due to overuse and little warm up.
I love this machine, I thought I was fit but doing this was an effort..I just kept trying and can now do a good 3-5 minutes I would recommend very sturdy love it arrived quickly great product..good service
It does work if u put your to it and be constant. Be not recommended for anybody with knee problems past or present.
Love this. Wanted something that was compact as not much space in my house, fits behind a door in the lounge. Easy to open up to use. Only downside is the counter is about hip level, so you have to get off to check how many steps etc.

Quality piece of kit ,easy to put together arrived well within the shipping time. Just don’t expect an easy ride on the muscles can be tough going to start with but we’ll worth it.

I have tried other exercise equipment but have all failed until I got the Maxi climber which works on every part of your body great equipme
Great product, been using it for a couple of months and have noticed the toning effect, you’ll be amazed how much sweat you rproduce after jsut 10 minutes. Although tall its easy to store as it doesn’t take up much space.
Hard work and a little too early to see the effects. It is not very stable, my husband had to put weights on the back.
Seems good so far but not really comfortable to use if your knees are a bit dodgy.
