Install straight forward Purchased this subscription from Amazon for third sucessive year. Install always simple (and I’m no techy) on my Windows 10 laptop and Android smartphone (Moto G Power). Unjustifiable that autorenewal annually with McAfee themselves would be 80. Only reason for not 5 stars is that I’m not smart enough to know how well it does it’s job of protecting my devices – I just assume it does that as well as any other antivirus software, and hope for the best really.

No was was I paying that. Saw this on amazon for 12.99 Uninstalled the original software and reinstalled with the new. Works exactly like before but with a massive saving
More difficult installation than before I have used these tokens for the last few years to renew my virus cover, but every year the process to install seems different, and last year it seemed so simple to install. Verify account, and that was it. Not this year. I don’t really know why, but installation failed a couple of times on my laptop. Fortunately, a list of things to try was listed on the second attempt, and I chose a resolution for Windows 10, which worked. I subsequently discovered that my wife’s tablet could not be updated, as it is Android v 6, and this McAffee version only applies from v7, but her mobile was updated successfully, eventually. It also failed initially. So two out of three successful, one more mobile to try. Hope your installations are simpler. It’s a good deal if you get it to install.

So I ordered this item to be emailed to me for much less – all sorted in less than half an hour. I did some Google research which recommended uninstalling the old version, using the McAfee tool first. Then I just followed the email instructions, entered the code and now have the latest protection installed. It couldn’t have been easier.

Very good produc I have bought my Macafee from Amazon sellers now for a few years. When you compare it to products bought from the retailers or even the company itself there is no difference at all. You get all the same features but at a fraction of the cost. Macafee wanted over 60 for the same product but you could only use it on one computer whereas I get up to 10 licences with this and it includes mobiles and tablets.
just look at the price of this on amazo so easy to download and install, does most of it for you whil u go for a cup of tea, much easier than other brands.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH CHROMEBOOK Purchased this to as I had purchased a new Chromebook for a course. As I would be using it regularly online McAffee was the obvious choice as I have used it for years. This however is NOT COMPATIBLE with the Chromebook but does not tell you in the advertisement and is non refundable. My other devices are already covered so although I will have this for the next time, I have to spend more money on antivirus software which I would not have had to do if it had been made clear that it is not suitable for Chromebook. McAffee is excellent but this advertisement left out an important piece of compatibility information.
Installation was fine Read the comments about difficulties installing it, but as an existing McAfee user, I logged into my account and was able to install the 25-character code and it updated my expiring subscription.
You get what you pay fo Not the best I’ve used but its the cheapest I look on Amazon for the download deals, found it easy to upgrade to the new version but True Type acted up a bit and I had to get tech to sort it out for me. Finally got it all working though, tech are good you get seen to right away, that’s what I like.
