Great value
For the money paid, this is an excellent purchase. I drink espresso but my wife is American and missed the drip coffee, so I pulled the trigger when it was on sale. So, the jug isn’t transparent and you don’t know how much of the brew is left inside, but since it’s a proper stainless double walled thing, it stays hot for long. Usually, I grind the beans late at night and set the timer for the morning, so she has the coffee ready when awake. As the jug keeps it hot, it can be then used throughout the day.
The minor inconvenience is that it’s difficult to clean the jug inside, since the top is very narrow and a brush wouldn’t touch the walls, but you can always rinse it daily and then use the water bottle type tabs (or baking soda with vinegar) every now and then to remove any deposits.
Overall, im happy with the purchase as it looks very smart and does the job.

Great coffee machine, great value, easy to use and clean. Simple to load up. Took a few goes to get the quantity right for level of strength. Number of cups is more for espresso cup size so need to triple quantity.

Best buy! Really recommend.. Once you figure out how much coffee to put in the filter and what intensity setting you like, this thing makes really nice coffee (only as good as your bean). The thermal jug is brilliant, it keeps the coffee hot for hours.

Great coffee maker!
Was looking for a coffee maker that was sturdy and functional. Wasn’t sure after reading some of the reviews, but glad we went for it. Well-constructed, makes great tasting coffee, and keeps it warm for quite a long time. An added bonus is that it doesn’t dribble when pouring (unlike almost every other coffee maker we’ve owned). Would highly recommend.
Excellent coffee machine
I love this coffee machine and the fact that there is no hot plate. At first I was concerned that it would not keep the coffee hot for a long time, but my fears were allayed immediately.
The coffee stays hot for hours and is still very tasty in that time.
I also like the timer feature and it is very easy to use set.
If you have doubts about buying this machine, then forget them and just buy it!

Wonderful but it’s needed more ground coffee
It’s a great machine, we love it specially because it can keep the coffee warm for long time. However we realised that for the same amount of coffee I used to do before, I needed to use more ground coffee. It looks like Melitta should slow down the process.

I found if I remove the jug from the plate it keeps coffee hotter although I do reheat the last couple of cups in the microwave. I would highly recommend this purchase

As a coffee lover I can say that I had loads of coffee machine. This one is definitely the best one I have ever had. It is quick to make the coffee, the taste is awesome, it’s adjustable, it’s easy to use and clean and it conserves the coffee very hot for a long time.

Easy to clean and easy to use. I haven’t bothered with the timer settings just used it when required but you do have to set the timer before it will work so I just press the hour button once-it sets to 1 o’clock and then works ok. Then turn it off at the wall after use.
