Was geklappt hat.

I had one of the old models for years but it finally gave up after being used almost daily
This replacement is superior thr food containers are now stainless steel instead of plastic and the controls to set it are far easier I’m highly delighted that I could get a replaceme

I use it for vegetables and eggs, and it steams them quite well.
Some vegetables need a bit more time than the pre-set timings, but you can adjust the steaming time.
Its a bit confusing to understand how to set it up. I’m still not sure whether its possible to use intellisteam for one pot and normal steam for the other, but thats a minor issue.
Generally it cooks well, easy to use and fairly easy to clean.
Being stainless steel means that you won’t get plastic molecules in your food, like with other plastic steamers. Thats why i don’t use the plastic divider, it’s not necessary.

This is the best food steamer I have ever had, a fantastic product.

I had the previous plastic model for the last 10 years with no issues, used almost daily. This is a massive improvement on that, and looks so much better too

I’ve had one of the older models for over 10 years and it was still working fine but showing it’s age, love this new one with stainless steel tubs and glass lids (older one plastic)

I bought this steamer to replace an older version that had plastic containers & lids which cracked over time.
These containers should last much longer. I had the last one about 14 years & love the way you can cook everything to your personal taste. I wouldn’t consider any other style of steamer.

Its not too big and can fit inside my pan drawer. Very easy to use with its various built in cook periods for up to 3 different zones. You could just use one zone or all three. I dont need the rice cook function as I have a rice cooker that is quicker. BUT this can prep fish and various veg that need differing times to complete. It can also cook sauce(s) in seperate pots (two provided) The indivdual components are or look robust unlike other steamers I h ave used in the past. This one replaces an item that failed after a shor t ime (13months) MP have a 2 year warranty so it should last a good few years as one would expect. A tad expensive but I got it on a spectial price but even at the RRP of 150 ish I would say it good value as it can be used for almost every day cooking. Even if you only use it to stream veg it is worth the cost as it can steam potatoes with green veg that needs a different cook time .

This is by far the best steamer I have used. It is very easy to programme. I am heading towards 72 and I found it very easy to programme. I have found that it cooks potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, green beans and butternut squash beautifully. I have not tried cabbage yet. But I suspect that will cook just as good as the before mentioned vegetables. As for cleaning, that’s what the dishwasher is for. Handles all the removable bits very well, but I must say they hardly need washing. I suggest you get a stock of tin foil in because you use a lot with fish and meat. Well worth getting the machine with the stainless steel containers as I think they are more robust. Plus they go in the bottom of the dishwasher whereas plastic containers go in the top. And don’t forget to register it for your extra year of warranty. Always worth doing. Buy and enjoy.

I bought this and thought at one point it might not do what I wanted as per some of the reviews I have been reading for all the different ones but I love it. I cook almost everything in it. Even better, the food stays really hot if you leave it and it keeps it like that for 40 minutes. Really easy to use and timings are good too.

Used to steam vegetables for family meals. Replaced older plastic model which I broke and is more resilient. However, this has less capacity and I would have preferred more like the old model. Easy to clean and works well.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPreviously I had a bulk standard tefal steamer. It was well used but showed signs of wear and tear with the plastic steaming baskets cracking.

I did a lot of research into my next steamer investment. I had some reservation on whether a steamer is worth nearly 100. I decided to buy with an open mind and so glad I did.

I chose this steamer because of the metal baskets, convenience of cooking, volume capacity and cooking power (watt). The steamer has 3 individual cooking sections that can have 3 different cooking times set. What impressed me was I can set the longest cooking time say 30mins and then 25 mins and 15mins at the same time. Then once the 30 min timer hits 25 mins the next section begins to steam automatically and so on to the 15mins. This means you can prepare everything in their sections set the timer for each section and go and sit down until the alarm goes off. Another useful attribute is the steamer will automatically keep the food warm until ready to serve. The baskets are solid along with the glass lids and very easily washed in hot soapy water.

There is a plastic version of this which looked at. Honestly, for an extra 25 it’s worth going for this because of it should last longer with no cracking.

Had the plastic version a few years ago. Saw they did the upgrade to metal and its so much better. The only issue is the cleaning of the water after.. If you forget to do it after a couple of uses it might smell but that is not really the fault of the steamer so 5 stars for this

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI wanted a steamer which was more accurate and more economical of power than the towered ones and this looked to fit what I wanted. I’ve only used it so far for vegetables and it cooked potatoes & carrots, using the icons for root veg and asparagus & cauliflower on the ‘leafy’ setting. Exactly right. I doubted that it would do the carrots to more than ‘al dente’! But they were cooked exactly as I like them. If you prefer then a little less done, then you simply reduce the minutes for that food item. I can’t say I’ve noticed if the veg is tastier, I’ll concentrate on that next time.
It was an Amazon Warehouse deal and the manual was missing so I read the pdf on line which was clear & explicit. The facility where everything is synchronised, finishing at the same time, is brilliant – saves all that lid lifting & testing for readiness. Also frees up hob space if you’ve got a lot on the go which at Christmas may be even more important.
I can’t wait to try chicken breast & then fish fillets.
If I can sort it out in half an hour – and I’m 77 – pretty much anyone can!

Very easy to use and clean…food not contacting with plastic in container…but the steam coming from a plastick tank…which hopefully made from full stainless in future.

I was uncertain about the size and price (more expensive than the others steamers) first but after getting it I was sold this one is great size for us (2 people) and works perfectly! Love having the whole meal finished at the same time and it is hands off you just fill all the compartments and set the time that’s it. The stainless steel is great and cleaning easy after I get a white film in the heating element after 4/5 meals I rub it using a sponge dipped in white wine vinegar and it is gone. I definitely buy it agai
