The main issue that I had with this device is that it requires some form of external junction box. Unlike its predecessor it was not possible to feed the previous cable into the device and to access terminals within.
Having resolved that with a waterproof connector it has worked reliably ever since.
My Husband fitted this Security Light, he found it very easy to fit, the brightness of the light reaches throughout the garden and we are very pleased with this security ligh
Wanted the light to enable me to see my cats in the garden. My error, I found it didn’t stay on for as long as I wanted it to, even when I changed the setting. So have purchased another that doesn’t have a sensor.
Good sensitivity, plenty of light, poor mounting bracket.
The lamp wobbles on the bracket with the lightest gust of wind which will shorten the life of the cable. Other than that seems like a very good product.
This thing is bright! Bought for the back garden so the dog can see when he goes our at night, he can probably be seen from space!

Light arrived well pack. The light felt more solid than the one I had previously, reasonable size and stylist slim line design. Installation was a piece of cake just couple of wires into the junction box. I have been playing around with the controls for a bit took a while to get the best settings. For a 50w flood light this is pretty bright, the light is rated IP65 certainly look like it can handle that. For good lighting I would recommend this.
Fantastic light. It really does pack a punch for such a small flood light. Once the day/night settings had been adjusted, it worked perfectly. Easily picks up movement from my gate that has two cars parked in between. Also catches my neighbours in there garden, who have now purchased the exact same flood light. As its just that great.

Had one of these on my garage but the cable fed in at the back and the water got into it. This one has bottom entry for the cable and is much better.
This is the first time I have bought an LED security flood light. I have installed this out the back of my house for security and going out to the bins. I have no complaints. My positives are:
– Suprised on the level of light intensity, which stretches and lights the bottom of the garden
– The sensor works well and appears to have a wide field of view from which it will turn o the light
– Adjustable knobs for adjusting the timer and light levels for when the light comes on are easily accessed below the sensor. They can also be turned by hand without the need for a screwdriver.
– Very impressed out slimline the LED lights are compared to the older, ‘boxier’ floodlights.

I bought this to replace an old halogen light security light, so all the wiring was in place. Unfortunately this comes as a sealed unit, so had buy a separate junction box to connect old wiring to new, so added another 10 to the cost.
Had a dark spot at the bottom of the garden and this solves the problem superbly. Bright enough to see every nook and cranny but not too Bright to disturb the neighbours. Controls for sensitivity, time on and for how long are very easy to navigate. If you need a Bright PIR light then this is definitely recommended
Was very easy to install and worked for One day then failed. I emailed customer services, their response from China was delayed, time difference. But no issues, the appologised and said the would send me a new one I received this the following day, swapped out for the non functional one. this worked straight away.

I got 2 of the lights, they are very bright and cover a good area, a bit sensitive on the pir and can be set-off by cat going past but better to be too sensitive than miss things.

Excellent light with very effective and adjustable PIR sensor. Only limitation is that when the LEDs eventually fail they can’t be replaced so the whole light is finished.
Easy to install and the light sensor had various settings described in the tiny instructions. Compared to my old Halogen light nowhere near as bright but I appreciate LED lights have there limitations. Would I buy another? YES. Speedy delivery.

Bought this to replace a worn out halogen light 400 watts, this LED 50 watt version has a good brightness but isn’t as bright as the halogen but ok. On the instructions it said the sensor range was only max at 3m that had me worried as it was mounted high up on the house wall. (no worries it is working well picking up at around 5 m) sensitivity settings are easy to set up. (need to do this in the dark). Being pre-wired you do need a waterproof cable junction box. Would buy again, good quality.
Very bright for LED. The cord is around 2m long but we got an electrician to install it.
Provided the light I needed in the car parking area at my house. It was simple to install and gives a really good light where needed. Certainly well worth the cost. The sensor is perfect when set at your required parameters A++

Great lights, I have trained under worse! We had to turn one ‘down’ as it was pointing into a neighbour’s living room across a main road.
Great light and definately lights up the garden only thing would like is it to have a bit longer when it comes on as it only gives about 7 minutes. Would have preferred up to 30 minute option but would definately recommend timing is just my preference only.
This is the second security light I’ve bought based on how well I was pleased with the first purchase. A very compact light and PIR. I’m really pleased with the build quality, brightness, and area covered by the PIR (it’s on the corner of my shed and covers a good 3 metre range). Cable length is adequate for my needs.
It is very compact I used it for over the garage lighting up the driveway and it’s brilliant anyone passing it lights up also when we go out and come back the light stays on till we go on I feel very secure with this outside ligh

Good quality and easy to instal
Could do with some washers as the screws provided only just fit the slots on the mounting bar.
Also it’s hard to get an angle to screw them on the wall as the light is always in the way.
So used a ratchet screwdriver.
But it’s bright and throws strong white light over a good width and distance.
The motion detection is spot on the brightness of the light is 100% it lights my backyard up is very easy for me to reverse my car into my backyard when it is very dark

Easy to install, supplied with plugs and screws if needed for a brick wall. Very bright light a lot better than our old 500watt light and cheaper to operate at only 50watts. Well made quality item.
Usually I don’t leave reviews, but this floodlight is very good and bright, we have it nearly 6 months, still works and looks like new. Very bright, nice white light, sensor works well. We have quite big garden, it lights all of it. Would recommend it to anyone, good value for money and gives nice modern light at night.

The light was extremely easy to install and lights up the whole of our garden. The sensor is brilliant and lights up the light as soon as you get anywhere close. A first class product.
Arrived as stated and was easy to install. All components are well made and has a quality feel to it. This was on a special offer, 50w for the price of 30w, whats not to like.
Time will tell if it will last.
1. It does not come with a remote control.
2. The main light is not adjustable (the motion sensor is adjustable).
3. It does not come with a plug.
Apart from that, this light it BRILLIANT and I truly believe it’s 5 star.
Even the light installer was amazed and he went and purchased 25 of these after finishing the job at our home.
If you can handle the 3 points about, you won’t be disappointed.

Had this up now for 3 months. No problems – bright light that triggers as desired. Easy to install except that the icons on the ‘adjustment knobs’ are difficult to read at arms length – so note them down on a piece of paper before fixing the light high up on a wall!!

This is one of the best LED floodlights I have ever had. I have 3 others round the house and garden and this is by far the best . Having a 50W LED it really gives fantastic illumination
The manufacture of the unit is excellent and is very easy to fit . As it’s completely sealed it should withstand all the weather that Scotland can throw at it.
The PIR sensor has a much wider range than most normal ones and picks up movement from a very wide range.
The adjustments on the sensor are very easy to adjust giving you a wide range of sensitivity and light duration.
I am extremely happy with this purchase both for its features, quality and price which I believe was fantastic value at only 21.99

I purchased this light, to replace a halogen one that regularly needed the bulb changed. I wanted a light that would be reliable and bright and this seems to fit the criteria.
Works well this light although 3 meters is a bit short for motion detection I thought it would of been much further so didn’t end up fitting it and bought a different one.
This is the best outdoor light I have ever had! The sensativity is spot on and the quality of the light is like daylight! Very very highly recommended

Now these LED units have a wire directly attached into the back of them so they cannot be installed on a like for like basis with the old units if you already have a wire for this purpose coming out of the wall. To get around this I installed a Wiska junction box where the old unit was, fed the wire out of the wall through the back of this box and then wired this unit up into the junction box using some Wargo clips. I’ve attached a picture of the finished job. Easy enough to do. Installed it yesterday in a couple of hours.
This is so much brighter than my old unit, to the point where my garden looks like a floodlit football stadium when this turns on! Build quality seems good, simple to install, bright as anything, inexpensive, cheaper to run than a halogen. Just grab yourself a junction box if you’re replacing a hard wired halogen and you’re good to go. You might get some complaints off the neighbours though when it fires up and takes their corneas out!
Very bright and comes on quickly. Note you cannot use this with a light switch, if you have an existing one, only with motion sensor.
An excellent security light (very bright and lights up whole garden) that was easy to attach to the wall and get up and running. Only issue on install was the length of wire was shorter than my old light but easyily extended this.
I purchased this outdoor sensor light for my backyard. It’s easy to install and works perfectly. The sensor is brilliant for turning the light on when my dog goes outside.
I needed to replace an old broken 500w halogen light in the rear or the house and decided to purchase this. This light is superb. It is super bright, brighter than old 500w halogen considering this is only 50w. It now lights up the whole garden. Highly recommended.
I installed MEIKEE 30W LED for my driveway. My neighbour (old lady) was very impressed and requested me to buy one for her. I bought this one and installed it a couple of months ago. I must say this has a better build and better light than mine. And the motion sensor and range are very good. Mine was daylight cool white but this is brighter than mine. And also the light range (distance) also higher than mine. I would recommend this over mine.
I fitted this today as a direct replacement for a 150W halogen security light. It was easy to fit and the product feels like a high quality product. The set up was well explained in the instructions and once itgot dark itweeked it to how i wanted it to oprate with the 3 dials. Very bright and modern. If i need another i will purchase this product again.
Bought this to light up the back garden, really easy to fit, PIR has good range and is detecting over the 10ft range it says. And well for brightness the only complaint is that it maybe a tad too bright, makes day time any time! I just had to get another they are that good.
Easy to install, though I removed an older security light to fit this. The ability to switch off in the daylight is essential, and it works perfectly. The sensitivity and range are perfect for my application, though of course they can be adjusted. It appears a well made product, and I would happily buy more, should I need them.
Quality product I’ve not fitteit yet, but it should be easy because it will replace an existing unit. This one is more sturdy and appears to have a better designed PIR sensor. The existing one has filled with water.
This is a powerful light so best make sure you install it high up! If you need alight around 12 feet from the ground might be best getting 30 watt. This picks up movement instantly and lights my garden up like Wembley Stadium. We have daffodils growing all year round and are hosting Status Quo in the Autumn! No, just kidding its great value and works a treat… going to get another one…
excellent bright light. worked well. until last night 13/4/2020. Bought it in August 2019 so it’s lasted 6/7 months now stays on as soon as it get dark. So I’m going to have to buy a new light. Dissatisfied with this product.
My old security light worked for 2 years and now it is time to upgrade. This one is 50w but compare with my old one (100w), seems no difference. The color is so bright. Working perfect on night. Hope it can last long.

It can be set to go off depending on the light levels outside, so I set line to go off at night only.
You can adjust how long it stays on for, as well as how sensitive the PIR is.
I would highly recommend this light.

Excellent unit and so far working well. I justify my statement as I have replaced all of my LED security lights which last just about 13 months each time! However they are relatively inexpensive and easy to change.

I brought this to replace my existing PIR light at the back door, the quality of the light is excellent and the construction of the light makes it much lighter than the old big style lights, first thing I notice was the size of the light, very streamline and very bright, easy to install and set up.
Easy to set up robustly made slightly heavy but not too heavy .very bright perfect for large areas.
Please note no plug included would be easy to lengthen power chord using waterproof connectors and cable original length about 1.5 to 2 metre may be too short for some.

This is a great light the main drawback is that it cannot be directly wired from the cable coming out of the wall as on the older more traditional types. The only way to connect is to use an electrical joining block from your house cable to the cable from the light and tape that up securely.
Solid metal frame to the light that appears to be better than average quality. Easy set up and whilst I haven’t had it long it seems to be a very good buy.
Overall it’s a great light for the price, mega bright, it illuminates my entire garden… both neighbor’s and the bungalows behind me, only criticism is that it flickers on and off dimly in bad weather conditions.
Sensor is a nightmare to get right. I should have returned it within the 30 days. II is far too sensitive which means that the light triggers too easily and can be annoying for neighbours. I now just it on from the main power box when required.
Much better to set up than the previous light, my sanity has returned!
his is a smart looking very flat outdoor LED light with built in PIR. This is as bright as my old high powered halogen for a fraction of the power. The technology in LED’s is now such that for a 50W device the light output is very impressive. Three simple adjustments for day/night operation, sensitivity and a timer. The price on Amazon was also very reasonable in comparison to alternatives. I may well be buying some more of these as my old halogen type security lights fail. Only time will tell how they stand up to the English Weather but so far so good, it works very well.
Although it does come with about 2 metres of cable which is already attached, you won’t be able to ope the light up to connect an existing power source. You’ll need to but a waterproof connector box hence why only 4 stars. This isn’t made clear in the description.
This is my first led light and it doesn’t disappoint. I was looking at a led in my home town a 30w 24 led for double the price of this one a 50w 64 led. It lights up my entire yard no problem and makes going outside to get something very easy with such a bright light. A must buy if your getting one
Ok, but no option to leave on longer if wished, when having a get together with friends. Extra lights are needed to stay on longer when sitting out at night with friends.
I am very pleased with my item.
It took a couple of goes at getting it at the best angle and for how long the light should stay on.
Now, I’m happy.
It’s as bright as my old 500w halogen and illuminates the whole of my garden. The motion sensor has very good range and adjustment. Had the 30w for over a year now with no problems, gone through 2 cheaper makes in the back garden before this one. Recommended.
The build quality of the flood light is exceptional, all areas have been sealed to prevent Ingres of water. The glass on the from is very quick and rugged, also the material that it has been coated in is very durable. I have had 2 of the 30W version of these flood lights for about 3 months now and they have been the best floodlights i have bought and i can see that this light is going to be the same.
The PIR sensor is the best design i have seen on any flood light. With it having a spherical sensor dome on the outside with small hexagonal dividers on the inside make this PIR sensor very responsible and can even pick people up walking against the wall, and from where the light is placed is about 8 meters away.
The adjustments on the PIR are very simple to change as some require you to use a screwdriver in order to change them, whereas this light doesn’t require that as it is as simple as turning a few dials. I also like the addition to change the LUX which is how dark it has to be before the light comes on as when setting the light up it can be very useful as you do not have to wait for darkness to adjust the settings.
Overall this is a well built floodlight that is very slim, durable and powerful. If you are looking for a slime profile security flood light this is the one for you.
