Liked comms to satnav and ease of connection to phone. That’s all I was looking for as I don’t use phone for calls on the bike or listen to music although I tested the music at home and it works.

    Everything worked as advertised.
Sound quality was good even at high speed. Instaltion was easy though I had to use the sticky mount as clip on did not fit my helmet type. Sticky mount broke while fitting and company sent me a new one free off charge within four days. Have not connected to other riders so cannot comment on that element. Battery life is long. During a four day trip I did not need to charge it. All in all very pleased with device and after sales service.

After a year i had issues with my device, the speakers had gone down, contacted the seller though there whatssapp and returned the item, they then sent out a completly new unit. Most companys would just send a new headphone part not this seller, 10/10 for customer service and care….. was helpful and friendly

As a replacement part, I was surprised to find it out performs the original. Speakers are louder and my wife says she hears me better as well.
    Easy to fit as well.

Seems pretty good for the money, although I’ve only used it to listen to music so far. Fitting was easy enough and my helmet was designed to take earphones so it doesn’t significantly push on my ears, albeit they could be slimmer. I only want to have low level background music and I can hear it clearly at medium volume even with my ear plugs in so sound seems satisfactory. I read the reviews before and someone did complain of having an issue and discovering water had got into the unit, so before fitting the main controller I put a bit of thin black electrical tape around the circumference of the joint to hopefully alleviate this issue. Generally seems to work ok and reasonable value for money.

Happy owner of the previous version for over 3 years. I decided to upgrade yesterday, received faultlessly today.

The v2 version is ALOT much louder and with far better speakers than v1. The sound is crystal clear compared to the v1. Hopefully the battery will be able to run for 8h straight with music on just like the previous one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just as good as expected from v2 versio

I’ve had this for a couple of months now and it’s honestly changed the riding game forever. Easily take call, switch between radio and Bluetooth. I get heavy rain where I am and so far it’s survived very well. Small hiccups here and there like a call was automatically answered one time no idea how, battery suddenly dropped one day but no issues since either. It’s a good product but honestly the price is a bit much for it and I know you can get better and cheaper else where I was just impatient.

I bought this device for listening to music whilst riding to work and back along with answering phone calls, the device is easy to install and setting up to connect with Bluetooth and learning the functions was easy following the instructions, the battery is amazing on the 4th day of using it still remained full, the sound quality is great and can go quite loud on full volume, the only issue I have with the device, is the plastic holder the device when placed in the holder is not so secure, the plastic lip on the top does not hold the device, if your putting your helmet on and you catch your hand on the bottom of the device it lifts out. Other than that it’s grea

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSound quality is okay for the price I’m always using it however for me it constantly switches itself of for no reason and without warning even when it’s 100% battery life is there a fix to this or have I just got a faulty one

Sound quality is decent, not the best, but definitely adequate. Battery life could be improved. Bluetooth connectivity is good, connects automatically every time its turned on.

This product is bang on for it s purpose. Fits well in any helmet, microphone is quality built. No one knows i m riding when i m talking on the phone with them. Altough if you re speeding on motorways you might not hear well. Very easy to use, just follow instructions. Fully reccomend all of freedconn products, as i ve ordered other products and i m well happy with them.

Habe mir dieses Headset fr mich und meine Freundin gekauft.
Lieferumfang: Super! Ersatzpads und zwei Mikrofone (Klapphelm/Jethelm und Integralhelm)

Vorab: Dieses Headset bentigt Geduld, ist also nichts fr “Es muss sofort alles beim Auspacken funktionieren”-Personen.

    Mainlobby –> Intercom (Voice-Voice) 1x Knopf drcken –> Mainlobby

    Cheers

For the price of the product the sound quality is pretty good, it’s easy to install and the adhesive that is on the speaker and microphone have held on without problems for nearly two months now though it did have so issue when I used it on the outside, so I just resorted to using the clamp and it has held on ever since.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Decent.

I have three of these, one for each helmet I have and use them for intercom only. I can’t comment on calls or radio sorry, I just need to talk to the pillion passenger and they work well for that. I’ve found the battery to be pretty good. I have a short commute, maybe 30 mins a day, but they last about two weeks before a charge is needed. When they get low batteries, they do have quite an annoying beep every few minutes just so you know. There’s a faint audio buzz but these are not premium products and it’s not too bad. Easy to fit the speakers and mike, and make sure your helmet has speaker cut outs for the best fit. You can talk freely and I’ve found them loud enough but not too loud that you miss road noise. Overall I’m happy and for the money would buy again.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI bought the unit back in 2021, I was tired of having to try fit bud-earphones which were almost always uncomfortable and difficult to hear.
I wasn’t keen on blowing a massive amount on the well-known brands and so was searching for a reasonably well reviewed cheaper option and this device was the ideal, even if it did feel like a bit of a punt. However, I’ve been pleasantly surprised on every count.
My first thing to say is that it wasn’t clear if the kit came with the open-face boom or just the full-face one. It does have both in it, so you can chose the option best suited to your needs. I almost didn’t buy because the description wasn’t overly clear to me at having an flip-front helmet, it was important.
The initial device pairing is a little bit of a faff, but the instructions are clear and since then, it has always paired without fail and has been completely reliable.
The battery life is superb, I’ve only once had it run out of battery and that was mostly just forgetting to charge the device.
Sounds quality is decent. Not world-changing, but certainly better than I expected given the price point.
I mainly use the device for navigation instructions and music, rather than calls or intercom but it has suited those needs perfectly. I’ve also not tried pairing two comms together, from what I can tell, it’s a similarly involved process to the initial device pairing, so a bit of a faff but doable.
The device has also stood up to rain perfectly fine, something I did want to experience before writing a review.
It sees fairly constant use on any kind of journey over an hour, simply because being able to listen to music etc without discomfort makes things so much more pleasant, and I can say that it has stood up to that use in pretty much all conditions for nearly a year without fault.
I’m likely to buy a second kit for my other helmet and would happily recommend it to others.

Very simple and easy to use. I would 100% recommend no need to spend 200 on other devices. Amazing product for people on a budge

If you are debating on whether to buy this product or not, I can genuinely confirm that for the price point you won’t be disappointed – even when compared to more more expensive brands. The intercom unit does exactly what it needs to and does it well:

    – Good battery life
    – Good sound quality
    – Phone connection and intercom capability
    – Easily installed with choice of fixings, microphones etc

My wife and I use these while on my bike and they work well allowing us to communicate well and we don’t need to charge the units after every ride which is a bonus!

Also the customer service I received was great, I had a few questions so I emailed using the email I found in the questions/reviews. I got a quick response and they then corresponded with my via WhatsApp, answering all queries I had.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality product at a good price point - customer service even bette

Edit to my original review. 5* for customer service, after I left the review I was contacted directly by Freedcon, they dealt with my enquiry quickly and efficiently with regular daily updates. A new unit arrived in the post via Amazon delivery (Hermes looks to have lost 1 delivery despite tracking info) and the issue has been 100% resolved.
This might be a one off or faulty unit. Bought 2 of these headsets but didn’t get to use them until recently and the intercom is just terrible quality on bike to bike and rider to pillion. If static then it’s fine soon as the bike is moving then it’s total interference and static. Had the unit since Jan so way past the returns and can’t get any contact details for technical help from Freedconn.
I did only buy this specific model after getting many positive responses from asking around, just very disappointed in mine.

Fully recommend this if you’re in the market for an intercom. Fantastic price in comparison to the rest out there and for your peace of mind there’s no issues to record. Works an absolute treat. I got the dual as ride a lot with the mrs and these things are awesome. Another extremely satisfying thing is the brilliant service you get from these guys as having been in contact with them for assistance at different levels as well as getting extra parts they’re were just great. Prompt replies and regular communication. Just brilliant customer service throughout!!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAt first this product was absolutely amazing!! I loved it, found it a bit quiet as was using it on my motorbike so found I had to have it full volume same with on my phone, but the sound was clear I can hear music and directions, it broke and it was replaced, amazing customer service wouldn’t fault it one bit! I’ve now been using the replacement and it’s a bit different to the original one I brought, it randomly turns off, just disconnects while using it, the voice is a odd accent, cuts half the direction out so it was try to say “turn left in 50yards” but will actually say something like “ft in 50yards” I know that’s not a big deal but when you keep missing turns and the directions because half the direction isn’t being given to you it’s just very frustrating. I’m very slowly giving up with this device as its so annoying when it just randomly disconnects or just turns off all by itself, phones on my all the time while using the intercom yet does funny things like that, I’m hoping it’s just been bad luck with these devices, they are good for how cheap they are but next time I’m just going to buy a more expensive/we’ll known intercom so I can actually trust i

Absolute gem of an intercom system. Only had it a few days but the sound quality is amazing for the price of the product. Wife thought I was sat in the front room when I rang her doing 60mph with the visor of my helmet open. Haven’t used the intercom to intercom function yet as waiting for my riding buddy to purchase one, but purchased by recommendation from another motorcyclist I met in a shop who had one so only expecting that side of things to be spot on also.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA techy IT friend recommended this product – he and his girlfriend had been using it, but I was hesitant over the mixed reviews, Chinese manufacture and cheap price until another friend bought one. I was able to have a good look at it, and try it out. I then bought the double set for my son and I to use when riding out together. The item comes extremely well packaged in a professional looking box with a magnetic closure that comes inside a sleeve. So what’s the deal with this product?

Firstly the price. Don’t let it put you off. Just because another brand charges 300-400 doesn’t mean that a product for less than half that price doesn’t work. The price is extremely competitive, and I felt that even though I dislike dishing out my hard earned cash on products that don’t work, I felt that I was willing to risk 100, as if it worked even intermittently, the advantages would be huge. As it happens, it works extremely well, thereby representing far better value for money than some of the much more expensive competition.

I also bought the additional microphone with the micrphone on a flexible stalk because I use open face helmets, and there’s nowhere to put the small button mic. Fixing the earphones in with the velcro was also a little fiddly, but that was more a function of my helmet lining than anything else. The wiring is easy to route around between the shell and the lining.

The unit itself clips to a baseplate. This is affixed to the outside of the helmet with either self adhesive pads, or by two small allen screws and a clip that hooks over the edge of the helmet. This is my main bugbear. Sticking out from even the most streamlined helmet like a small housebrick (slight exaggeration) , it generates considerable wind noise at speed over the plain (bare) helmet. This might be trying on extremely long journeys at motorway speeds. But for commuting, short rides outs up to day etc., it’s bearable. And worth pointing out that there would be the same problem with other similar products too.

The instructions are clear enough to follow. The only problem is the photos/pictograms of the screen which are so small, I can’t even see them with reading glasses on. However if you can see them, operation and pairing of a second unit and also a phone via Bluetooth are very simple. The controls feel positive, and the unit appears well made. It does take a little bit of playing to familiarise yourself with the controls, especially the jogwheel, but it’s quickly mastered.

I bought this product to use purely as an intercom while riding, so I have only briefly explored the FM radio function, and not while riding. I have tried the “music” function since this also relays satnav instructions from Google maps or your other favourite GPS app on your phone to your headphones. We experimented with range, and found that it just about managed the claimed 800m in a line of sight situation. This decreases if the other rider is out of sight round bends or over a hill etc. It’s hard to quantify this as it depends very much on the obstacles.

There is no IP rating, and a single statement “water resistant”. I guess a shower of rain will be the arbiter of quality in that respect. The charging time is around 2 hours, and for that you get 300 hours of standby time, 10 hours of phone time or 5 hours of intercom talk.

Time will tell on the longevity of this product, but replacement parts are freely available and cheap. For the modest price, this little unit is packed with features, and I would have to recommend it.

For a basic bluetooth requirement, this unit works very well and is easy to install. Battery life is good and clarity of sound is also commendable.
I haven’t tried the intercom as yet.

So far does everything I wanted it to do (navigation, music, calls) and does so well but at a hell of a lot cheaper than the competition. I dont use it for communication between headsets so cant comment on that but everything else works well.

The sound quality is amazing, whether you’re listening to music, or having a conversation. Definitely worth the price, I almost paid over 100 for one similar, boy am I glad I didn’t…
