Brought for son as his last pair were split. Best boots He’s had
Bought these for walking dog during winter months because of the miles covered. They also get a lot of general use. There are a lot of reviews saying buy a size under normal size because there is room in them for thick socks if needed. Personally, I’d say take no notice and buy the size you normally buy. There is a lot of padding inside quality rubber and neoprene, they are extremely comfortable. By far the best wellies I have ever owned.
Realy worth every penny love them great for walking the dog
I use these boots for Gardening during the winter, really warm and super comfortable.
Great fit, don’t have to wear thick socks as they are super warm. Definitely stood up to the horrible weather of late.
A little on the tall size and the leg fit is tight ,wouldn’t get thick trousers on as well . But that depends on how muscular your calf is
Comfy and warm
I will let you know if they wear well
Value for money
Well made but a little on the pricey side x
This is the second pair of muck boots I’ve bought. The first pair been muck masters, these are similar in design but they are definitely warmer.
My muck masters lasted well but went in the bin after the sole unit came away on the right one. Fingers crossed this doesn’t happen again.
I have only had these boots a week, so a review is really too early. The last pair of Muckboots (Derwent) while warm and comfortable were not waterproof after 6 months, half of which were summer, therefore not used. I am trying Muckboots one last time following comments by other users (dog walkers).
Great luck boots. Bought as a present but we all have McMaster wellies and they are great. Would recommend
Qr code is not working need a digit code asap. Thanku
Great fit and support. Ideal for rocky beach walking. Very pleased.
Good for walking long distances I’m very comfortable Brilliant value for money
I love muck boots they feel like a comfy pair of slippers
I’ve never liked wellington’s, but needed a pair for walking the dog in soggy conditions. After much deliberation & research I bought my Muck Boots – These are beautifully comfortable & I love them!
I bought my usual size 9 which suit me perfectly as I don’t like thick socks. (I’ve tried thick socks & they do feel a little tight.)
Excellent product. So comfortable and robust. Size true and look forward to them lasting a lifetime
The best ever boot I have bought…Warm, comfortable and Waterproof…..Love them
Only had them a week or so but used them everyday and found them warm and comfortable. Outside temperature at the moment is around 5-10 degrees and they are great. Enough room for thicker socks if needed. I am a size 10 shoe size and ordered the same wellie size and the fit is great. Haven’t tested there full waterproof ness yet. Hopefully they will last a year or two.
Actual warm wellies are wonderful. My boots meet lots of mud whilst feeding various livestock. They are robust without being heavy and they are great for long dog walks too. They work hard and although not cheap they last long enough to make them worth every penny.
Present for hubby he’s over the moon, they were recommended, and we will definitely pass o
Have been using these daily for the past week walking my dog, size spot on, very comfortable not like any Wellington boot I have had before, warm with a cushioned sole. Just hope they wear well, too soon to say but great first impression and thirty miles!
Exceptionally God fit comfortable and socks don’t even come off which is usually a problem with wellies.
Replacing a existing pair that have lasted 4 years. They are a great product, at a great price.
These are light and comfy wellies; very warm and a good grip. Sizing is very accurate so do there is NO need to upsize in order to account for thicker socks. I use mine for dog walking (ie for my feet, not the dog’s) in woodland, through bogs and over fields. So far they are well up to the job.
These are the most comfortable I have owned! Easy to get on and off!
Had these boots before so knew what to expect. Great boots and excellent service from supplier.
Really comfortable and warm. Looking forward to sloshing around with them in the winter.
he wellies were for my partner.he just hope they are fully water proof but as of now they have not had to stand up to the tes
These boots are so lightweight, comfortable and waterproof. They’re perfect for my partner as he has to use crutches to walk and they add no extra weight, they weigh just a little more than his regular trainers.
Bought as a gift for my dad to replace his worn out muck boots. He loves this brand as they wear well and are very comfortable. This is his third pair! These were the best price available and will be back when he needs his next pai
We walk the dogs every day and use these most of the year, so the get hard use.
They last maybe 3 years until some seal cracks or splits, but in my opinion they are still worth it as there is nothing better to walk in all weathers (though I wouldn’t wear them when it’s hot).
Brought these for my dad and he loves them and says they are really comfortable on his feet!
I got these to replace my old Muck boots which had begun to split after two years of frequent use. (Two dog walks a day) They are warm and comfortable as are the old boots. In fact the wife now pinches my new boots and I am back to wearing the old ones again. They still do not leak even though the top surface is cracked probably due to the soft neoprene inside. These are in my opinion the best wellies I have ever had!!!!
Well these boots fit better than expected and are so comfortable good for muddy work as well as well as in the wet.Fit well in the leg not too big or small Perfect.
My wife bought me these for valentine’s day so we could get mucky together.!!
They are so comfortable and really well padded so walking for miles is easy. They are insulated so your feet don’t get cold. They are waterproof so you don’t get wet.The leg is not too high so they don’t rub behind you knees. They are loose enough so you can get your jeans inside them easily. But not so loose that they flap about or the rain gets inside them. The Neoprene leg is really flexible. The Toe cap is very strong.
They are not tight fitting on the feet so you can wear thick socks. Choose your normal size. These are a khaki green colour which is great for all seasons. Highly recommended.
Excellent product in every way. No complaints or negative feedback at all… I would buy again.
Easy to slip on and off considering the design. Warm and sturdy feel but heavy. It may be matter of getting used to of them.
Very happy with these boots so far. Due to the wet weather I have worn them every day for at least a couple of hours walking the dog over 4 months. Still comfy and still going strong, very happy.
My husband’s been wearing these for a couple of weeks and is very pleased. He has wide feet and these fit well especially around the ankle. The neoprene leg part rolls down making it easy to get off. They are warm so you don’t need welly socks, and comfortable. He walks about 2 hrs a day across muddy fields with our dog every day so have been great in this weather.
Fit as expected, I bought my normal shoe size and wear two pairs of socks as usual in wellington boots. They are very warm and easy to walk in. I have only had them for a week and worn for 5-6 hours on dog walks but so far so good. Normally wellington boots split across the flex points after 2-3 months I am hoping these will last longer!
Great warm boot
Quiet slippy on wet wood and moss covered concreate but BRILLIANT in the mud and soil fantasic air tight boot no soil can fall inside like usually wellington boots
Replacing an identical pair I bought five years ago. After frequently walking many miles in them, one of the old boots now has a small hole, but they’re still wearable for general use and muddy conditions, provided not too wet. Very satisfied. Boots are warm and comfortable.
I work outside all day in all kinds of weather. These boots keep my feet warm. Better than normal rubber wellies.
Never before have I loved a pair of wellies like I love these.
Love them, comfy and warm. BUT, After 2 months I noticed the left boot starting to un bnd from the upper part. Contacted Amazon who have replaced them no problem. But I think it was a 1 off, hopefully
A great boot.
Replacement for previous muck boots that finally wore down after long long long service.
No review for previous old boots. As they were bought before amazon existed
Extremely comfortable, easy to get off, good grip. If they stand the test of time too, they will be the best boots eve
Only a few days of ownership so far, but I have high hopes. Very comfortable and warm with ‘normal’ socks.
SIze.My normal shoe size is 9.5, I initially thought, with a good pair of socks then size 10 would be perfect. Wrong .they were too large. I sent for a second pair of size 9s. as no 9.5s are available. Even with a thick pair of socks they were a perfect fit. If little tight to get off, but no trouble to put on.
WeightBy comparing the weight there is very little between the two sizes The biggest difference was the diameter around the top of the wellington the size 9 was a good fit but the size 10 was a good 25mm larger and this made a huge difference as it flaps when walking. I am not a Amazon prime member therefor it cost me 14 return postage to return the larger pair.
In conclusion The wellingtons are very comfortable to walk in on the pennines, They are completely waterproof and are very warm even in icy cold water. They do tend to slip more than my boots on shiny surfaces such as wet tarmac.
It’s a really good boot , sturdy and keeps my feet warm . I’m pleasantly surprised at how good they are compared to the hunters I’d been using which are in my opinion are pretty poor these days
hubby likes these for the comfort and durability. he uses them for going fishing mostly.
Fantastic boots. I have had other makes of muck boots, I thought these were a bit pricey but worth every penny. They are comfortable and keep my feet and legs lovely and warm.
Unfortunately I had to return these, as I have a high instep and couldn’t get my feet into them. Apart from that they looked strong
Wonderful wellies I buy them for my dad and my husband. If your a half size definitely size down. Over the last few years I have bought 4 pairs and they never fail to impress.
Great boots, I usually fit a size 9 shoe however I found the size 8 a perfect fit.
I would recommend you check the size you need before you purchase, such as garden centre.
This is my second pair the first pair just worn out after a lot of hard work.
Purchased these for my partner, he loves them . Fitted perfect and snug round the ankle area
Perfect fit, look and feel very comfortable when wearing. Bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for.
This must be the sixth pair of Muck Boots that I’ve bought. Without doubt they are the most comfortable wellingtons I’ve ever worn. I’ve worn Hunters and Le Chameau, as well as Muck Boots, but they don’t come anywhere near in the comfort stakes. My only gripe is that Muck Boots don’t seem to wear as well as other boots, but quite frankly neither did Hunters or Le Chameau. So, that’s why I come back to Muck Boots time and time again.
I buy 2 pairs of these a year for my farmer husband. They keep his feet warm and if he only had to walk in them would last a lot longer. Unfortunately he often has to climb over fences so rips the soft part of the legs. Cracks developed it the waterproof part but he does work them hard.
Best wellies we have ever owned. We live in the highlands of Scotland and these are just fantastic. Warm, comfortable with superb grip in any conditions and totally water proof.
I have had loads of wellie boots for dog walking and these are the best value for money you can get. Bit warm for summer but I don’t use when it’s really warm.
They don’t last forever but nothing does, 2-years out of this pair and I have just ordered some more.
Very happy with the product and the price was even better. A year on and they are still as good as new with a bit of muck to boot would buy agai
Very comfortable boot. This is my second pair. I love the grip of the sole and they are warm on your feet. Highly recommend them.
Had 2 pairs previously needed replacement after (about) 5 years. Good price here and quality remains as good as ever. They are light, robust and easy to get on and off
Best buy ever, use most weekends digging (metal detecting) and the soles are still intact – comfort level the best – and would buy another pair if and when these eventually wear through
Slightly bigger than I expected but ok quiet expensive though
What is not to like about muck boots – accept no imitations. Bought to replace still strong boots for annoying child that keeps growing
Brilliant boot. This is my 3rd pair as I am in the habit of cleaning them off before I get in to my car having put a clean pair of shoes on, only to leave them behind on two occasions. So the bottom line is, i’m now into about 240 worth of boots, but they are so good I just had to have another pair. 🙂
Best proper Wellies avaiable. I walk miles each day in rough terrain uphill and down Dale, I use leather handade boots in the dry months and Wellies in the wet ones. My boots travel around 35 miles per week, and last 3 winters before the heel grips become a liability, then I replace them. I’m on my 3rd pair. Better than le chameau boots which are more than double the price. Hunters are not even in the same room.
Now knowing how good Muck Boots were, I decide to see if there were other versions more suited to walking; the Muck Masters are quite substantial (but amazingly comfortable for walking still)! The Edgewater II caught my eye with more neoprene and what looked like a slimmed down profile – they are lighter, comfortable, seem as durable and can be rolled down more than the Muck Masters, which is great in warmer weather. The only down side is the tread isn’t as deep, so grip in mud is lacking in comparison (the smaller thread may mean they also wear out quicker). However, these are the ones I pick when going walking, so on balance a great boot!
I’ve had muck boots before so know the quality you get. Excellent and comfortable fit and no need to wear thick sock etc even in minus temperatures as the insulation is first class. Well worth the money.
Solid pair of boots, comfy too! Warm, water proof, a bit like the crocs of wellies for comfort! They are true to size, I got a UK11, I’m UK 10.5, they are slightly big for me, but a good pair of socks sorts that. They look huge when on, but they are wellies, solid purchase.
Tried a few different wellies and all have been uncomfortable and badly sized
These are by far the best I have bought and are perfect witha pair of thick socks. Great and super comfortable for long walks
Deffo recommend
I use these very frequently when it’s wet for long distance muddy off-road dog walking. They are comfortable and warm just like other Muck Boots that I have owned. Thoroughly recommended except that I just noticed, after a year, a split in the rubber shell at the side of each toe. There seems to be no water ingress past the neoprene layer so far but this cost a star.
Great quality
Only issue is they are very roomy around the calves. Need to wear thick socks.
Fantastic boots!! Wore them in Norway with a decent pair of socks and feet were very toasty! Ideal for watching your kids play football and standing in the cold!! Or for walking in the snow!
This is my third pair of these! Excellent ankle support, warm and hard wearing. Just difficult to get hold of the old rubber version rather than the cheap plasticky ones, these are great.
his is the second pair of Muck boots bought, the first pair were black but when the same boots in Green arrived they were too small, so had to order a bigger size. But these are perfect boots, hard wearing, long lasting, comfortable and worth the money.
Bought as a present, but they were very well received and my Mum uses them daily at the stables and loves them. After several disappointing pair of hunters, she said these are a different level!! Hopefully they don’t crack like the hunters!!
Wellingtons look to be very well made, a present so I don’t know what the receiver of them will think
My previous pair of “Tweed” Muck Boots were used for dog walking. The sole grips had started to wear smooth after several years of daily use during the winter. They were ideal, but they no longer make that type, so I wanted a replacement that was similar in style, which appeared to be “Edgeware II”. The new ones are excellent – comfortable, lightweight, and somehow the fit is even better than my previous pair. Very pleased after several weeks of use.
Bought for my husband .They are his second pair and he loves them .They definitely out live the cheaper wellies and do a great job in wet, muddy weather .
My husband has had several brands of wellies over the years and always goes back to Muck Boots. Comfortable and warm and hardwearing. (being a Farmer they get a lot of use) Highly recommend.
Bought as a result of using a pair in the Arctic. As there is a soft neoprene band around the sole/heel moulding, I am concerned that a normal boot puller will damage it. I have contacted Muck and await their reply.
Excellent quality and feel very sturdy. Bought these to replace Hunter Balmoral that split after just 18 months. In my opinion they appear to be better quality than Hunters. First time i’ve bought muck boots so hoping they will last ! Highly recommend
I really love these
Very comfortable for longish walks, and the tread is surprisingly grippy. Warm, but not sweaty.
Also worked really well as snow boots on a skiing holiday.
First, the quality – these are superbly well-built boots. They are not steel toe-capped, but you would not know it. Very rugged, and the design of the tread is a revelation for avoiding clogged-up soles in the mud. Despite the rugged, tough looks, they are a very comfortable boot to wear. Secondly, sizing – I have always bought wellies a size larger than my normal shoe size, given that I usually wear thick walking socks under them. This time I had to send the first pair back and order my normal shoe size. I have wide feet, but these are BIG boots! Buy your normal shoe size and you should be fine. Finally, service. These were bought with birthday vouchers – on repacking the first pair and handing them in to the local P.O., I received my refund credit about two hours later. Fantastic, prompt service!
I wore my last pair (identical product) virtually every day for two years before one of the seams split. Being a farmer, I continued to wear them for another 6 months before a split appeared in the side. Extremely comfortable and warm in cold weather.
My only problem with the new pair is that they are slightly smaller than the original pair even though they are supposed to be the same size (8) so not sure if I can wear two pairs of socks when winter comes.
Fit exactly as expected and very comfy. Been recommended these to go shooting as they’re waterproof and also insulated so no need for thick socks. Really good produc
Love these boots. This is the second pair I’ve had, the first lasted over four years and are still suitable for use around the garden, just needed new ones for the heavy duty stuff! They are warm and comfortable. Highly recommended.
I was a bit worried about how grippy they’d be on ice, but they’re fine.
Very good purchase.
Lightweight and warm with a solid build but flexible feel to be really comfortable. They don’t look as stylish as hunters boots I last owned but I won’t be changing back. Much better value. Let’s see how long they last.
These boots are awesome!!! Previously if the temperature was below 4 or 5 degrees C my feet felt like ice even with extra socks on, with these muck boots I can happily work while it is below 0 and still feel warm.
They are slightly less flexible than thinner wellies but still comfortable to work in all day and as they are slightly taller than my old boots I can wade through deeper water.
The price initially put me off buying them but now I wouldn’t think twice about buying another pair in the future.
Very happy.
I got a size 6 even though I’m a size 5, as I like plenty of room if wearing thick socks or the option to pad out with thin socks and a pair of insoles for summer. This is the first time I’ve ever had Muckmaster and I’m SO pleased with them, they are a joy to wear, reliable and robust. If you have any doubts about these because of the price, then let me assure you…..they are worth every penny! Go for it….you won’t regret it….honestly!
having worked outdoors all my life with dogs. never been a fan of welly boots. these have proved me wrong. Comfy to wear support feet and ankle. waterproof have walked miles in them without an ache or blister or a wet foo
