Replacing a existing pair that have lasted 4 years. They are a great product, at a great price.

    light and comfy
These are light and comfy wellies; very warm and a good grip. Sizing is very accurate so do there is NO need to upsize in order to account for thicker socks. I use mine for dog walking (ie for my feet, not the dog’s) in woodland, through bogs and over fields. So far they are well up to the job.

These boots are so lightweight, comfortable and waterproof. They’re perfect for my partner as he has to use crutches to walk and they add no extra weight, they weigh just a little more than his regular trainers.

Love these boots. They are expensive and don't last for ever, but are so comfy and warm
We walk the dogs every day and use these most of the year, so the get hard use.
They last maybe 3 years until some seal cracks or splits, but in my opinion they are still worth it as there is nothing better to walk in all weathers (though I wouldn’t wear them when it’s hot).

    Great boots!
I got these to replace my old Muck boots which had begun to split after two years of frequent use. (Two dog walks a day) They are warm and comfortable as are the old boots. In fact the wife now pinches my new boots and I am back to wearing the old ones again. They still do not leak even though the top surface is cracked probably due to the soft neoprene inside. These are in my opinion the best wellies I have ever had!!!!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMuck Boots are amazing
Muck Boots are really the “Four Wheel Drive” version of wellington boots. They are rugged and chunky and can withstand anything the weather can throw at them.
They are so comfortable and really well padded so walking for miles is easy. They are insulated so your feet don’t get cold. They are waterproof so you don’t get wet.The leg is not too high so they don’t rub behind you knees. They are loose enough so you can get your jeans inside them easily. But not so loose that they flap about or the rain gets inside them. The Neoprene leg is really flexible. The Toe cap is very strong.
They are not tight fitting on the feet so you can wear thick socks. Choose your normal size. These are a khaki green colour which is great for all seasons. Highly recommended.

My husband’s been wearing these for a couple of weeks and is very pleased. He has wide feet and these fit well especially around the ankle. The neoprene leg part rolls down making it easy to get off. They are warm so you don’t need welly socks, and comfortable. He walks about 2 hrs a day across muddy fields with our dog every day so have been great in this weather.

Fit as expected, I bought my normal shoe size and wear two pairs of socks as usual in wellington boots. They are very warm and easy to walk in. I have only had them for a week and worn for 5-6 hours on dog walks but so far so good. Normally wellington boots split across the flex points after 2-3 months I am hoping these will last longer!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersA half size would have been beneficial
I bought these “Artic sport wellingtons” to go beating on the Pennines in the winter months.
SIze.My normal shoe size is 9.5, I initially thought, with a good pair of socks then size 10 would be perfect. Wrong .they were too large. I sent for a second pair of size 9s. as no 9.5s are available. Even with a thick pair of socks they were a perfect fit. If little tight to get off, but no trouble to put on.
WeightBy comparing the weight there is very little between the two sizes The biggest difference was the diameter around the top of the wellington the size 9 was a good fit but the size 10 was a good 25mm larger and this made a huge difference as it flaps when walking. I am not a Amazon prime member therefor it cost me 14 return postage to return the larger pair.
In conclusion The wellingtons are very comfortable to walk in on the pennines, They are completely waterproof and are very warm even in icy cold water. They do tend to slip more than my boots on shiny surfaces such as wet tarmac.

    Most comfortable wellingtons eve
This must be the sixth pair of Muck Boots that I’ve bought. Without doubt they are the most comfortable wellingtons I’ve ever worn. I’ve worn Hunters and Le Chameau, as well as Muck Boots, but they don’t come anywhere near in the comfort stakes. My only gripe is that Muck Boots don’t seem to wear as well as other boots, but quite frankly neither did Hunters or Le Chameau. So, that’s why I come back to Muck Boots time and time again.

I buy 2 pairs of these a year for my farmer husband. They keep his feet warm and if he only had to walk in them would last a lot longer. Unfortunately he often has to climb over fences so rips the soft part of the legs. Cracks developed it the waterproof part but he does work them hard.

I cannot see the point of reviewing something like this within a couple of days of purchase so I have deliberately waited to get through the winter! I’m 53 and feel I have spent most of my life with wet feet!!! I’ve gone for cheapo 10 quid rubbish, 30 quid rubbish, even up to 50!!! All, split within a couple of days/weeks and back to wet feet! As I spend up to 3 hours a day dog walking I thought I’d go for it. Really really pleased, firstly, after 10 months of daily use, they are still waterproof! Also, they are incredibly comfy and nice and warm in the winter. My only gripe (hence the 4 star) is, although they are great grip in bog, on wet tarmac/concrete they are perilously slippery, when walking along the path to the fields, you really do have to take care, however, worth the risk and I will most definitely buy another pair as and when these expire!

Brilliant boot. This is my 3rd pair as I am in the habit of cleaning them off before I get in to my car having put a clean pair of shoes on, only to leave them behind on two occasions. So the bottom line is, i’m now into about 240 worth of boots, but they are so good I just had to have another pair. 🙂

    Best hard wearing boots avaiable.
Best proper Wellies avaiable. I walk miles each day in rough terrain uphill and down Dale, I use leather handade boots in the dry months and Wellies in the wet ones. My boots travel around 35 miles per week, and last 3 winters before the heel grips become a liability, then I replace them. I’m on my 3rd pair. Better than le chameau boots which are more than double the price. Hunters are not even in the same room.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA Really Great Boo
My first Muck Boots were Muck Masters, which are still going strong years later – I had been sceptical of the neoprene uppers and these only had a small upper section. I’d also had some crappy Hunters, that cracked within the year, so was hesitant when it came to buying expensive wellies.

Now knowing how good Muck Boots were, I decide to see if there were other versions more suited to walking; the Muck Masters are quite substantial (but amazingly comfortable for walking still)! The Edgewater II caught my eye with more neoprene and what looked like a slimmed down profile – they are lighter, comfortable, seem as durable and can be rolled down more than the Muck Masters, which is great in warmer weather. The only down side is the tread isn’t as deep, so grip in mud is lacking in comparison (the smaller thread may mean they also wear out quicker). However, these are the ones I pick when going walking, so on balance a great boot!

Solid pair of boots, comfy too! Warm, water proof, a bit like the crocs of wellies for comfort! They are true to size, I got a UK11, I’m UK 10.5, they are slightly big for me, but a good pair of socks sorts that. They look huge when on, but they are wellies, solid purchase.

Good for a year but a split has appeared ...
I use these very frequently when it’s wet for long distance muddy off-road dog walking. They are comfortable and warm just like other Muck Boots that I have owned. Thoroughly recommended except that I just noticed, after a year, a split in the rubber shell at the side of each toe. There seems to be no water ingress past the neoprene layer so far but this cost a star.

Muck Boots excellent for dog walking
My previous pair of “Tweed” Muck Boots were used for dog walking. The sole grips had started to wear smooth after several years of daily use during the winter. They were ideal, but they no longer make that type, so I wanted a replacement that was similar in style, which appeared to be “Edgeware II”. The new ones are excellent – comfortable, lightweight, and somehow the fit is even better than my previous pair. Very pleased after several weeks of use.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHigh quality wellies for all conditions.
Got these for my partner for Christmas and he loves them. They are very comfy, don’t pick up too much mud even when walking in very muddy conditions, and provide good grip on pavements (including ice), mud, grass (wet or dry) and at the beach. Our dog grabs my boyfriend’s leg when returning his ball and has made small holes in the neoprene (as you would expect!) but this has not reduced the waterproofing of the boots at all. They also fit snugly around his calf (but also stretch for a bigger calf easily) so rain water doesn’t run inside the boot as it does with some other brands. They are warm enough to wear without thick socks even in freezing conditions but are also not too warm in hotter weather. These have now been used at least once a day for nearly 6 months and other than the damage caused by the dog they still look like new. Would highly recommend.

Excellent quality and feel very sturdy
Excellent quality and feel very sturdy. Bought these to replace Hunter Balmoral that split after just 18 months. In my opinion they appear to be better quality than Hunters. First time i’ve bought muck boots so hoping they will last ! Highly recommend

    Best ever wellies
    I really love these

Very comfortable for longish walks, and the tread is surprisingly grippy. Warm, but not sweaty.

Also worked really well as snow boots on a skiing holiday.

hey are a very comfortable boot to wea
First, the quality – these are superbly well-built boots. They are not steel toe-capped, but you would not know it. Very rugged, and the design of the tread is a revelation for avoiding clogged-up soles in the mud. Despite the rugged, tough looks, they are a very comfortable boot to wear. Secondly, sizing – I have always bought wellies a size larger than my normal shoe size, given that I usually wear thick walking socks under them. This time I had to send the first pair back and order my normal shoe size. I have wide feet, but these are BIG boots! Buy your normal shoe size and you should be fine. Finally, service. These were bought with birthday vouchers – on repacking the first pair and handing them in to the local P.O., I received my refund credit about two hours later. Fantastic, prompt service!

Extremely comfortable and warm in cold weathe
I wore my last pair (identical product) virtually every day for two years before one of the seams split. Being a farmer, I continued to wear them for another 6 months before a split appeared in the side. Extremely comfortable and warm in cold weather.

My only problem with the new pair is that they are slightly smaller than the original pair even though they are supposed to be the same size (8) so not sure if I can wear two pairs of socks when winter comes.

    Worth every penny
Fit exactly as expected and very comfy. Been recommended these to go shooting as they’re waterproof and also insulated so no need for thick socks. Really good produc

    Great boots
Love these boots. This is the second pair I’ve had, the first lasted over four years and are still suitable for use around the garden, just needed new ones for the heavy duty stuff! They are warm and comfortable. Highly recommended.

I don’t often write reviews, but these boots are amazing, I’ve owned different types/ brands of wellingtons in the past but these boot are the best I’ve come across, fit perfectly, extremely comfortable and durable so warm (it is currently -7 with snow on the ground) they don’t get hot and sweaty in the heat either I am yet to find a bad point about these wellingtons, definitely should be you’re next set of wellingtons

I love them. They fit perfectly, they’re comfortable and warm even in the snow, and they’re flexible enough to drive in.
I was a bit worried about how grippy they’d be on ice, but they’re fine.
    Very good purchase.

    Great boots.
Lightweight and warm with a solid build but flexible feel to be really comfortable. They don’t look as stylish as hunters boots I last owned but I won’t be changing back. Much better value. Let’s see how long they last.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGreat warm and comfortable boots for muddy and cold conditions.
I bought these size 13 boots for use on nature reserves and walking in the country. I have had several pairs of walking boots that have become a chore to lace up. I gave these a try. I have worn them four times now in temperatures around 0 – 5C in muddy wet conditions for a couple of hours on each occasion. Together with a thick pair of walking socks they kept my feet warm and dry in the coldest and muddiest conditions. Putting them on and taking them off is a breaze. Rolling the soft neoprene tops down to the ankle means I can slip my feet in, gather my trousers around my ankle and the roll the tops back up. Taking them off is just as easy. Add in that they can be hosed off when I get home makes these a worthwhile purchase.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWarm dry feet in freezing conditions.
Having spent most days since the new year standing on the banks of many ditches jetting out land drains and suffering from cold feet in my previous wellies, I decided to bite the bullet and pay for a good, warm pair of boots despite the cost. Glad I did.
These boots are awesome!!! Previously if the temperature was below 4 or 5 degrees C my feet felt like ice even with extra socks on, with these muck boots I can happily work while it is below 0 and still feel warm.
They are slightly less flexible than thinner wellies but still comfortable to work in all day and as they are slightly taller than my old boots I can wade through deeper water.
The price initially put me off buying them but now I wouldn’t think twice about buying another pair in the future.
    Very happy.

    Love my muckmaster wellies
I got a size 6 even though I’m a size 5, as I like plenty of room if wearing thick socks or the option to pad out with thin socks and a pair of insoles for summer. This is the first time I’ve ever had Muckmaster and I’m SO pleased with them, they are a joy to wear, reliable and robust. If you have any doubts about these because of the price, then let me assure you…..they are worth every penny! Go for it….you won’t regret it….honestly!

They were recommended to me by a fellow dog walker I bumped ...
After years of suffering cold feet year in year out wearing cheap wellies and numerous amounts of so called thermal socks. I finally bit the bullet and forked out the extra money on some Muckmaster wellies. They were recommended to me by a fellow dog walker I bumped into over Cannock Chase. As the old saying goes “you only get what you pay for” and this could not be more true with these wellies. I paid 84.99 off Amazon and they are worth every penny. Like most wellies they seem to come up half a size larger than your normal shoes and this is exaggerated by the fact you only need to wear thin socks even on the coldest of days. The sole is so thick that you feel no sharp objects as you walk along, I walked 5 miles in them the other day and I swear they’re more comfy than my walking boots. My only regret is I didn’t buy some sooner, if you suffer from cold feet then I really recommend these superb wellies

    Good
Having wasted money on cheap wellies
    Thought it time to invest
Bought these muck boots a two weeks ago
    Have to say very impressed
PROS warm comfortable and secure footing
CONS I am a size 10 UK (44/45) they are bigger so need good quality thick socks and for some people they may seem a bit heavy.
So now to check out longevity
Will up date next year, but as of now seriously recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent Hunter replacements!
I had to dispense with a 3 year old pair of Hunters as they sprung a leak. These Muck Boots are an excellent replacement – more comfortable, very warm and very light. I actually felt very comfortable running in them the other day when out with the dog. So, why not 5 stars? The only weakness with this particular model is that the grip is not excellent. It’s ok, but not as good as the Hunters were in really slippy, muddy conditions. They are great, however, and I’m really pleased with them. Go for it.

    Good Fi
I was a little concerned about the fit when I ordered them, as I’ve experienced wellies can vary in their sizing. These however are really good. They are comfortable and well made. I don’t think that I would go on a long walk as they are quite heavy as they are made with quality material, which adds to the weight. But for keeping you feet warm and dry they’re great, just what I wanted!

Initially, these boots feel a bit strange to walk in as they are quite upright but you quickly get used to them. They are warm and comfortable and my only hope is that they last a long time as I tend to wear them a lot in the yard and the garden and have found that other makes have split on the foot after 4-6 months.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersExcellent Boots
I have had my boots for over a year now, and they are worn every day on the stable yard and in the horses’ clay mud field. So they have had a lot of rough use. The rubber is just beginning to thin around the widest part of my feet – where the boot has to “give” as you walk – but in all honesty I believe this is understandable as the rubber on these boots has to cope with horse poo and horse urine on them every single day, which is no doubt starting to rot the rubber. So for the very fact that they have withstood a year of this, plus they have been the warmest and most comfortable boots I have ever had, I will still give them 5 stars. I will be ordering another pair. So much better than Hunters, and way better than the standard Muck Boot Tack Boots.
