The Murray lawnmower is well made,and is quiet in operation compared to previous makes of mower that l have owned.
If there is one thing l was’nt so ken on were the levers to assemble the handlebars!
On previous mowers it was a simple knob to tighten,maybe they should consider replacing the plastic levers with easy to tighten knobs!
But apart from that this is a great
mower,with a good guarantee.
The device is a little heavier than I expected so harder too carry in folded configuration but cuts beautifully and quickly wet or dry grass
After reading the Bosch lawnmower reviews which were all poor opted to try the Murray one instead really impressed with the mower seems well made nice and light to use and it cuts okay, originally an American company and now made in China the company is now owned by Briggs and Stratton, the only thing letting the unit down is the poor assembly instructions and working out what goes where.
But it seems sturdy enough

Very happy with the mower. Good power and picks up grass well.
Worth spending a bit more and getting this upgraded mower. The blade hight adjusted function works great. Folding function of the handle bar is easy to use. Storing in my tiny shed is no problem.
Only minor point is that the handle bars when locked in place to use feel just a little bit flexible, not alot but enough when push over some thick grass it gives a little bit.
All that said, I would still happily go out and buy this again.
I would certainly recommend this lawnmower, the only negative as others have previously mentioned is that the cable is very short and you need to use an extension lead even in a small garden.
This mower was easy to put together, looks great and of good quality, I needed a mower that would need to be able to cut my very long grass and this coped very well with it. I am delighted with this mower and would recommend it to others.
Really light weight, easier than pushing a pram. Only down fall is that the grass box is small, but I don’t mind as I surpose that if it was bigger then it would make the mower heavier to push when full, Thought when it arrived it looked cheap, but me & hubby love it & the ease of use & looks can be deceiving

I replaced by old reliable Qualcast that finally gave up after 10 years. I looked at reviews and was disappointed to see some poor reviews for top brands. The after service reviews on this brand were OK so thought id give it a try. Assembly was fine, although I can see some people struggled a bit. A good quality feel and about the same weight as my last one. Really easy to use and the cut is excellent. It’s impossible to know how it will perform over time, but I’m very pleased with it for now and would recommend.
After searching different options I chose this mower based on the best recommendation. It was a little confusing to assemble as the instruction book was not that good. Took some working out and later resolved it myself. If the instruction booklet was improved, then the assembly time could of been a lot quicker. Once assembled it was easy to use and cuts the grass well. The mulcher option is brilliant and saves on emptying the basket. Best on grass that is not to high in depth. Found the mower ideal for my lawn which is medium sized, on a slope and not that even.
At the price, its a good mower. Cuts the grass very well. Follow the instructions in regards to cutting height and grass length.

Easy to assemble and a cuts the grass with ease
This is a strong mower.hight adjustment is easy and appears to be robust. Wheels are large and easy to push. Motor is not overly noisy and had plenty of power . Grass box is a good size. All in all a nice mower.
Very light weight easy to use however putting together handles not easy took ages to get the lower part of handle in to plastics holes .really really tight fit due to end of metal splaying due to the hole drill position had to ask someone to help was afraid to use to much pressure
Have not tried the mower yet. although it looks very good. Never had a Murray Lawn Mower before. I had trouble fixing the top hand rail to bottom hand rail, screws appeared too short. This was the only trouble I had with assembly. You need a magnifying glass to see the pictures in the manual and even then the instruction about fitting the top handle onto the bottom handle was no clearer. I got onto Amazon for replacement screws, what a fiasco. Foreign lady had no idea how to send replacement screws, in the end she arranged for another mower to be sent to me and arranged for the initial one to be collected. The replacement mower came very quickly and the screws were exactly the same. I then had the idea to Google Murray lawn mower 37cm video assembly. After much effort with the particular two screws in question (which were correct after all) I managed to connect the two rails. This was the only assembly trouble I had. Why can’t manufacturers print clear instructions in their manuals, not everyone has a computer. At the time I also emailed Murray via their website because I thought I needed replacement screws and am awaiting a reply.

This product got a few negative reviews saying the plastic casing had broken but I decided to give it a try anyway and I’m so glad I did, easy to assemble, lightweight and easy to push, not too loud and noisy and a fair price. Been using it now for a couple of months with no issues at all and it cuts the grass a treat. As for the plastic breaking, I can see how that might happen if you pick it up by the push along handle, but use the grab handle on top of the motor and all should be fine.
ITS NOT A BAD MOWER, JUST A COUPLE OF THINGS, IT HASN,T ANY CABLE CLIPS WHICH IS DISAPPOINTING, AND IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA THE MESH COLLECTOR ALLOW DUST TO RISE, NOT A GOOD FEATURE, ALTHOUGH IT CUTS DOWN ON PLASTIC.
It was easy to assemble lightweight and easy to use like it says and it cut my grass neat and tidy but had to keep empty the grass box alot but good
The instruction booklet we received was for another model however it ‘was’ just about ok: the location holes for the lower handle were hard to align, and the grass height adjustment information did not indicate which was high or low, apart from this the mower is very good, once I mastered it the more impressive it became.
Ok – light effective mower . Just cannot get bottom attached properly. Instructions came were for the larger model .
Just used the mower and the first cut was great. Arrived with a few bumps and scratches so hopefully this is just cosmetic and it won’t fall apart in a week. Instructions are a nightmare to follow. Just work it out for yourself it’s pretty easy and saves a lot of time.
Two of all the reasons why i chose it is that it doesnt have a roller (woohoo !) and that it has mulching plug. Hard to find such combination 😉

I almost didn’t buy it due to some negative reviews. However, I am glad that I did. It arrived quickly and was easy to assembly and use. The 1600 watt electric motor gave plenty of power to cut through the high grass in my garden in good time. It has seven height settings to tackle low to high grass. The back wheels are a good size to go over rough terrain. And to top it off, it has a 5 year warranty.
This is the first time I have bought my own lawnmower (adulting). I looked for a long time and thought for the price this exactly what I wanted. Well packaged. Lovely looking bit of kit.

This mower arrived in good time, packaged well and all parts present. It is very easy to assemble and the quick release bolts are great. It’s easy to adjust the cutting height and is generally a pleasure to use. The mower still works perfectly after many uses, I would definitely recommend
After much searching I decided to give this a go despite some reservations as I did not know the name, This 1600W lawnmower has seriously impressed me.
It was easy to set up, easy to use and easy to create a nice finish on my lawn.
The powerful motor coped easily with my slightly overgrown large garden and worked well for a good couple of hours in strong sunshine heat with just a a couple of short breaks for the mower to cool down.
Easily adjustable cutting height was very good with a good range.
Grass collection worked well with the 40l collection box doing it’s job perfectly.
As you can tell im very happy with my purchase and I would certainly recommend this mower, the cost of 124 was money well spent in the middle of summer although I’m sure it would be a cheaper buy in November/December it was well worth the price I paid.

Great lawnmower. Love the adjustable height, cuts neat and collects all the grass and bits up.
Only 2 small things which caused me to drop a star was one of the front wheels was bent on arrival which my husband had to fix and the second is the handle on the grass box comes off if the box is too heavy… Another job for husband which shouldn’t really be necessary for the price paid.
This is my second Murray Lawnmower, i have a battery version too which is also splendid, this corded electric version is really good and powerful and light weight which makes carrying by the handle far easier, easy to put together and good selection of cutting heights, my only complaint with all the Murray lawnmowers is the cheap and flimsy grass collection box which doesn’t do a good job either – it’s like buying a ferrari only to find it has wooden wheels !! Shame really.

Really impressed with this mower it is very easy to use and has a very thorough and even cut . One minor issue is it has a slightly too small grass box but overall value for money it is marvellous !

I found it difficult to put ogdther. You have to take the mulcher out efore you can fit the grass catcher.
Grass catcher could be better. Used twice so far doing the job it should.

Slightly heavier than my previous Bosch mower. But with it comes the power. No slowing of the motor cutting down some long grass. Would recommend this one
I retired my aging very popular lightweight corded mower and decided to try something that costs about 50 more. I am so happy for the slightly wider mow path, the immense upgrade in power and the far sturdier construction that, unlike my former mower, never looks or does require some of the ratchets to be re-tightened because they have come loose whilst cutting. Also it can cut at least 60% faster and the grass-catcher has great capacity and flexibility. It was a pain to put together with fairly useless instructions that were like crossword clues, but once done it has performed delightfully.
Very good lawnmower and like tools needs looking after. The few poor reviews given are just incorrect.

What a fabulous little lawn mower this is. Its lightweight easy to use and a reasonable length lead. The hight adjustment is easy and I have to say its the best and cheapest lawnmower I’ve ever bought.
It’s a little bit on the heavy side when lifting. But with the big wheels it is very light when cutting the lawn. Very powerful lawnmower, well built would buy again.

The best lawnmower I’ve had as it’s lighter that my old bosch and the bar handle is more comfortable than the 2 handles and with a 5 year warranty it’s a bargain at 119.
I found this very easy to assemble, and the easy adjustable cutting level results in a very close crop. The large grass collector and wide cutting blade means that I can cut the lawn in half the time that it took with my previous Hover mower. It is a little bit heavier to my previous mower, but is easier to mow with it having largish wheels.
It seems to be well built, but only time will tell. Done about 4 cuts so far, and all is fine.
Used a few times now and started on high now on middle cut collects cutting easy and simple to empty

Bought this lawnmower for the 1600W motor. It cuts well. Has varying height adjustments. Good capacity for cut grass. The only criticism at the moment is that the assembly instructions need to be made bigger & clearer.

Good wide cutter. felt the grass collector box could have been better designed for both capacity and better connectivity to the mower. But it was a reasonable price.
Old mower gave up thought I would try Briggs and Stratton as the engines go for ever if you look after them.What a difference to the grass, the 1600w motor does a great job on the lawn looks like a well cut lawn now
Very easy to push due to the large rear wheels, not the easiest to assemble but I put brain in gear and all was ok.
A bit awkward to fix the handle in a suitable position and grass blows about a bit. Overall OK

First time I’ve used a lawnmower for over 12 years but faced with front and rear gardens in my new house I’ve spent a lot of time deciding which lawn mower to get.
I swayed between getting a cordless or electric then once I’d decided on corded for the value and power it was then down to which manufacturers to choose from.
So after trolling through all the reviews for the established big companies I decided on this Murray mower after all the positive reviews.
So now for the main info.
The setup was not was easy as it should be though to be fair it’s only fitting two parts of a handle together then attaching the grass box. The main issue was that the screw assemblies were different supplied than shown in the manual.
Anyway once this issue was resolved (10 mins to convince it was ok) it was onto the garden.
This is where I gained the most confidence in the product. You get a great range of height adjustment which I used both ends of the range for different parts of the front and rear lawns. No problems it just cut through with no fuss and with a great results. The grass box held enough grass to mean little emptying was needed and also simple to empty.
After the grass was cut there was little cleaning required and it was placed into the garage (didn’t bother to attempt folding the handle)
The whole mower feels like good quality and I like the fact it’s got metal blades as my last mower used plastic ones which were easily damaged.
Can speak for long term ownership but if there are any problems hopefully the long warranty will cover it, but so far so good
