I went on to buy 3 more of these as it works wonderfully with my HomeKit environment of heating, dehumidifying, and noise. It took a while to figure out how to integrate but once I did, I love it and my house has improved drastically. I love this and just bought 3 more as gifts. Also, it measured the CO2 levels in my room which helped me diagnose and realise that my constant headaches had to do with high co2 levels in my house. Would highly recommend.

I will be buying more of these. Having definitive data for our bedroom showed our room was way too humid, too cold and CO2 through the roof once we go to sleep. Used this to keep track and make changes – bought a dehumidifier + air purifier and set up some automations to regulate humidity and temperature and have been sleeping better since.

Does what it should. Helpful especially in monitoring CO2 as a measure of overall air quality – good for Covid precautions. For some reason I’d expected it to be bigger – no idea why, but I imagined it was Pringles can sized; it’s much smaller – dimensions on the product page.

I didnt seem to have the problems that other reviewers have reported. Set it up on an IPhone and IPad and worked with no problems. Connected to wifi in about 30 seconds, so fairly satisfied. Will now see how reliable it is.

Great little device. We use it in our nursery to keep an eye on the temperature, humidity and co2 levels. Knowing when the room is at the best temperature for sleeping helps our little one sleep through most nights

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersHere’s a funny old thing. Ive been feeling a bit grotty during the day and had a few headaches…..and I never normally get headaches. Also feeling really tired. Bear in mind I spend all day in my little home office with two PCs running all day.
I installed this and it was showing the CO2 quantity as nearly 5,000 parts per million! No wonder I had a headache!!

Now, the big caveat. You cannot install this is you use Huawei mobile phones. I spent ages trying to get it to work with no luck. It was only when I tried to install it using the PC application that it popped up a message saying that it cant be installed with Huawei phones. This is a big omission and needs to be shown in the listing.

Once you do get it installed it will work fine with Huawei devices however.

I wanted to make sure the CO2 monitor actually worked, so I exhaled onto the monitor for about 30 seconds. Lo and behold, 5000 ppm CO2 detected! After letting the monitor sit next to the open window for a few minutes, it settled back down to 350 ppm. Seems legit.

Does exactly what it says. Monitors and warns about excessive co2 levels, temperature, humidity and noise. Those can be monitored via the app, telling you which are good or bad. Historic readings can also be viewed in the app.

many will think it’s a useless gadget
but it always tells me when I got to open the windows for a high level of CO2
it tracks humidity and temperature and noise too
    Possible is it’s homekit compatible

Straight out of the box and worked first time. Product is easy to setup and really useful if you need to measure Temperature & Humidity, Co2 is interesting to know. Tried other tech, but this unit is perfect.

I liked this one. It looks nice and the readings made sense to me. But not for the price. At least not for me, since I live in a quiet house and always ventilate the rooms enough. Maybe it’s better value for someone with a large family

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirst of all, i have a Netatmo welcome device and this serves as a great home security device. Since I was satisfied with the build and usability of their other products, i decided to try the smart indoor air quality monitor as I used to own the Canary and it did all of that too.

The Netatmo Smart Indoor Air quality uses a different app to the security device. It is equally easy to set up and within a few minutes it will start taking readings at a regular interval. You get to see averages and zoom in and out of fancy charts that show your indoor air quality.

Noise, CO2, Humidity and temperature are its only metrics. I have come to find out that the device doesn’t detect smoke or carbon monoxide (i believe they have another device for this). Whilst these are useful metrics, it’s hard to say what to do with this information once the novelty of having this device has passed. Luckily this does now integrate with homekit which means you can set up automatic actions when certain thresholds are hit.

The device also tells you if the indoor air quality is poor and you should open some windows. Somewhat of a silent killer i hear, so in that sense it has provided more insight into my daily life (and that I dont open enough windows). You can tap the top of the device which will tell you using colour what rating your indoor quality is. What I have found is that sometimes the app doesn’t alert me incase of large swings in temperature or co2 levels – something I find to be quite important to the value offering of this product.

I have some cases of disconnections but usually the device will just reconnect itself. I have however noted that sometimes you might need to re-add it back into homekit in order to get it displaying again (as it will say the device is not responding). It normally does respond in the app otherwise though, just not apple homekit. You can share the home stats to give someone access to your account – then you and your other half / housemates can have access to this information.

The indoor Air quality monitor – does exactly what it says on the tin. it comes with a very simple a functioning app which doesn’t really do that much. With Apple Homekit it adds a level of customization and automation which elevates the use of the device. However on its own, it just adds more data to your life which may or may not increase your quality of living. I would give it a 3/5 if you weren’t interested in tech, but as data is interesting to me, this gets a 4/5

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is one of those things you didn’t know you needed until you have it.

I have been into smart home / home automation for the last few months, exploring different productions and options to make our lives easier. The air quality monitor has already made an impact in our lives and I can thoroughly recommend it.

In our case, our son (3) had always had trouble to sleep for more than 2-3 hours without interruption, as well as problems to fall sleep many days. After installing the monitor in his bedroom we have noticed a few things such as poor ventilation at night (CO2 just skyrockets after he goes to bed!) and temperature is not always ideal (too hot). This has prompted us to come up with a strategy to improve ventilation and temperature and this has made a very positive impact in our little one’s sleep patterns.

I really recommend this (or similar solutions) if you have little kids or babies. It is very important to make sure temperature, humidity, noise and air quality are good in their bedrooms.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis does a good job of tracking the data you’ll need. There’s not much say about how it does it. Having HomeKit support really makes a difference and adds usefulness if you have an iPhone and especially if you have a HomePod.

The closest competitor is awair which is okay but it lacks HomeKit support, it makes noise (not good for bedrooms) and it loses data every time it disconnects so while it may track more data points like chemicals that won’t matter if it’s not logging anything. Also for U.K. folks, in most cases chemicals will be your cooking which if this is in a bedroom while you sleep isn’t even necessary. So healthy home coach trumps it.

If there are any issues it’s that perhaps the tips aren’t necessarily helpful and I guess some people may not like the simplicity of the app but I feel it does what it needs to do. I don’t want to be nagged and dig through piles of data. I can ask Siri what’s up or automate turning on the dehumidifier. That’s what you really need. But if you want something that trains you and tells you exactly what to do maybe it’ll feel like it’s lacking but to be honest the answer will like always be turn on a dehumidifier or open a window. You don’t need to be told that. Just see when it’s best to do those things.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersA handy device for measuring humidity, temperatures, air quality etc. It does the job well enough there. However, this device could be so much better. From a gadget point of view I was interested in this because of its support for Apple Homekit. Given that the device contacts a range of sensors I figured I could do a number of automations, e.g. ‘the temperature has gone above 25 degrees so activate the smart plug my fan is plugged into’. Sadly this is not the case, you can only do automations on the CO2 senser. Such a missed opportunity. Hopefully Netatmo will enable the other sensers to be used in automations soon. Notifcations from the app like “It’s a bit warm in the bedroom so you might like to consider opening a window” are so last decade, rather it should be “It’s a bit warm in the bedroom so I will open a window”.

Edit: I’ve bumped it up a star. It appears the automations are limited if you use the ‘home app’ that comes with iOS. The other day I bought some Elgato Eve gadgets, and installed their app. Using the Elgato Eve app you can make all sorts of automations using the Healthy Home Coach sensors. Worth install the app even if you don’t have Elgato Eve kit as it is probably better than the native iOS ‘home app’.

Only issue was that the device was previously paired to another users apple homekit so it had been previously used but amazon kindly refunded me 25%.
Apart from that it is a 5 star produc

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGood product, I have it in my Baby’s room and i can remote monitor what it’s like in there. Purchased it mostly for it’s ability to give me a timeline of what the temperature was like over night, which it does really well. One setup quirk is the you have to be on the same 2.4GHz network as the device when you are connecting it. Works with homeKit but not with smart things.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIt works very well and allows me to keep an eye on essential elements of the air quality in my house in France from London. I can make sure that my heating system is working fine and that I don’t have any issues to be fixed by a professional. It’s nice to keep a peaceful mind. I would definitely buy it again.
