1. Please make sure that the flat surface of the tile is smooth, ensure that both suction cups are adsorbed on a surface larger than 4*4 inches and the plane should not have gaps.
2. Be sure to install the handrail according to the use method of the product’s listing to confirm that the Suction Grab Bar is firmly attached.
3. When the Suction Grab Bar is not used for a long time, please remove it, because the air will seep into the suction cup, the adsorption force will be worse, and it needs to be re-adsorbed.
4. If the Suction Grab Bar is not used for a long time, please remove it. If the Suction Grab Bar falls due to this problem, this is not a quality problem of the product. Please follow the steps 1/2/3 again.

I have tried out many similar suction grab rails in the past but found them more of a danger than a help due to detachments during use, so have been pleasantly surprised by the suction provided by these Newthinking Suction Bathroom Grab Rails. On first appearances the suction cup appears relatively flimsy, but on smooth large tiles I have been hard pressed to reposition them once attached to tiles. I have found opening and closing the suction cup leavers to be a bit of a challenge. But all in all I am pleased with these grab rails and have been using a second set of these for nine months or so and they are still forming a strong attachment to tiled walls, though the suction cup material is not very resistant to mould which is a pity given that these will most likely be used in bathrooms.

These are really good. Having cleaned the tiles and fitted the rails, about 2 weeks ago they are still very well stuck to the wall. The suction is much better than I expected. If you read the instructions and follow them they will work.

I can’t think why I never considered buying one of these before. As someone who has had a very painful experience when slipping in the shower, this item is giving me new confidence. Easy to instal and gives stability, and would be particularly helpful to the elderly or disabled.

I did’nt buy it for the bathroom, i use it to stop my quilting ruler from moving when cutting layers of fabric, it works a treat,and my elbow does not pain anymore…… ladies that cut quilting squares will know what i am talking about.

Better than I had hoped
I was unsure if these would work with slightly rippled tiles but they are great. One of them does have to be checked regularly as it can loosen at one end but, once re-set, it stays strongly fixed for the duration of a bath/shower at least.

One good, one bad but great service
One is so well fixed it feels like I’d pull the wall over before I could pull it off. The other has a dodgy cup and seemingly no matter what I’ve tried it slips meaning you always feel nervous. With one request however a replacement was immediately sent through. Thanks so much

Suction handles
Do need really smooth tile face. Mine have a slight ripple and they only stick firmly for 24 hrs but it does tell you to check each time before using. Really good product.
After reading some of the reviews I was a bit dubious about buying this product due to reported problems of ineffective suction. However, when I received it I was immediately impressed by the quality of the product and particularly the powerful suction when I attached it to the tiles. Our tiles are flat, and have a glazed finish, so maybe this explains why we have had no problems at all with the grab rails coming loose, or dropping off. It is also handy to be able to move it if the initial location proves not to be the most useful place when in use. This would obviously be more of a problem if the rail was screwed to the wall! The product appears well made, is comfortable to use, and even matches the colour scheme in our bathroom.

Excellent product bought for the shower cubicle in my caravan which is the moulded plastic type rather than glass or tiles. Im very pleased with it.
A good temporary fix
Very pleased with these handles. But as the instructions state it is not a permanent fix, you have to check the suction regularly as air can creep in between the suction pad over time
Careful on the surface you wish to attach them to..
I tried these and they were no good on my tiles in the bathroom, my tiles have a slightly rough surface so there was no way they would stick, stuck OK to the glass shower panels and fantastic. I bought 4 of them and I returned two of them. The ones that I used on the shower panels have stuck really well and I have no doubt these will work very well on the correct surface. In fairness I did have a doubt about their suitability as there was a comment on the item details, so my mistake.
Very easy to install. I bought mine almost 3 weeks ago, and the suction is amazing! I think the tiles would come off before the grab handle worked loose! When I first positioned it, however, one of the suction cups loosened after a day, so I repositioned that cup onto an alternative tile, and voila! The tiles must be squeaky clean for best results (I used a cream cleaner and then a limescale remover). Very happy with this item and would definitely recommend.
Fantastic produc
Brilliant. Took a chance on these & they did not fail. My husband had just had back surgery and was not sure these would be durable enough to help him up from the toilet. Brilliant and the suction is amazing. Buy another set to put in the shower for when he can make it back upstairs.
Very useful handle
Did the job, my wife broke her ankle and needed to get into the bath to use the shower, the handle arrived quickly and it was easy to fit and plenty of suction.

Excellent Produc
These are great for my Dad to steady himself in the shower. They actually adhered to the shower boards so tight when I when just putting them in position. I could hardly detach them……which is a good thing. Once I got them where I needed them and locked into place they were absolute solid. I didn’t have to do any of the cleaning and messing about some had talked out in the reviews which had slightly put me off. Don’t be put off these are excellent and do just what they say And don’t cost a lot . They have given my Dad the confidence he needed.

Suction Grab Rail
I never had much time for a suction grab rail only with screws would I trust it. HOWEVER, I’m not good at stepping down. In our kitchen there is a step down of 2/3inches. There was a fridge in the way so couldn’t have screws in the side of a fridge. This suction version is perfect and v v strong. I am so pleased with it.

Brilliant! Bought this for my little boy who has special needs and is unsteady and nervous in the shower. It stays put and is very sturdy and given him the confidence to try and shower by himself. Avoids mould etc. too. A good buy.
Good value
I bought this for mmy elderly mum, she didn’t want a grab handle that would need drill holes. This is perfect for what we want it for. It is now securely attached to the UPVC surround at her front door, making it safer for her to get out and in.
Works good but it's vital to have a very clean surface
At first, when I tried using this grab bar, only one side out of two would stick firmly to my tiles. The other would always come off. But then I used some cleaning product, some limescale remover and really cleaned both the tiles and the suction cups well. After that, both sides stuck awesomely and I feel very confident using the grab bar. I’m not sure how I’ll even get it unstuck now should I wish to move it.

Amazing suction powe
Bought this for my elderly parents 93 & 87 to use getting in and out of the walk in shower – amazed at the suction power – been using daily for a month now and although I check the suction every few days this is still as good at the first day I installed them! Definitely good value for money and I don’t have to put in a permanent fixed hand rails and can remove and store them as required.

A very useful aid to safe showering
The grab handles are white and gray and look good when in position in the shower cubicle.
They feel solid and secure.
The tabs require considerable force to close which might be a problem for those with
arthritic fingers. Pushing on them with the palm of the hand worked for me.

Just make sure the tiles are flat, dry and clean then you have to use some effort to get the lock pushed into place.
They are then really well held in place!
Only works on glass smooth tiles
My only reservation is that the suction cups did not hold for more than a short period on tiles that were not absolutely glass smooth – they will not adhere to any tiles with the slightest deviation from absolutely smooth, ie with an texture at all, however minimal
Perfect - secure and suction grap holders.
Bought those after my accident which helped me in the shower and bathroom when i came home from the hospital, its secure and sits well on the tiles. It is comfortable to grap on, and perfect hand size holds. Since i bought it, it only came off once but otherwise the suction is really good. Great value for money. Would recommend.

Take care with the surface
These are placed on the flat, gloss, tiled surfaces in my shower where they are superb. I have tested them every time I take a shower by putting my whole weight on one, and they do not move at all (yet). Being fixed by suction I could alter their positions without making a mess of the wall. Perfect. However, I doubt they’d stick well to any other wall in this house.

These seem to fix to tiled bathroom surface very firmly. I can’t tell how durable they are but they do offer a way of providing a hand support for the elderly that is easy to fix and can be moved easily to a different position as required.

I have a few of these now and they have made my life easier. They are very secure but check before you put any weight on it as they do not stay securely attached for more than a few days and need re-attaching. They are also small enough to put in a suitcase for travelling, where you often find yourself with an over-bath shower with no handrails. I took one to Greece recently and it came in very useful, but didn’t stay attached to the tiles overnight, perhaps because of the heat? Not a problem, but something to be aware of.

Was not sure how these would look but they are excellent. They look nice in my new bathroom as the colours are subtle. I did not want to drill into new tiles so these are the perfect solution. They grip onto the tiles firmly and so far are brilliant. If I decide to put permanent handles in later on I will know exactly where I want them after experimenting with these removable handles. Great product.
Many of the reviews claimed to have experienced problems with this prodect but we purchased the 2018 upgrade twin pack and fitted them as instructed about a month ago and they are still very firmly fixed to our shower walls. We purchased them at a very low price and consider them very good value for money.
Useful as a temporary safety hold in the shower after having knee sugery. However reset each time you use. The suction doesnt hold indefinately and has fallen off the wall on two occasions on its own.

This item is extremely helpful for getting in and out of my shower cubicle. I am in my eights and my balance is pretty dodgie nowadays. The only problem I had with them was the pressure needed to press down the button to make them grip the wall. Fortunately my husband was on hand to do it for me. I now feel safe to move about in shower without fearing a fall.
