This is a review of the OL650UK model – there are lots of different versions of this cooker.
As at late 2021, this unit appears to have all of the features of the top models except for the built-in thermometer probe which will automatically stop the cooking when the food reaches the desired tempreature in the middle.
First impressions on unboxing are positive – the unit looks really nice and feels premium quality and has all of the accessories you could need. It is quite bulky and heavy though – this is a unit that you need to find some spare countertop space for, somewhere it can be both used and stored, as you won’t want to be lifting this out of its storage space each time you use it.
This brings me on to a practial point – you need clearance for the lid to hinge open – I found I had clearance in my utility, but not in my kitchen. This works fine for me, as most of the cooking that I do with the device is kind of ‘set it and forget it’ cooking and the unit beeps when it’s done. According to my measurements, you need about 58cm of space above your worktop for the lid to be fully opened. You’re not supposed to use this on top of your cooker, though this does appear to be just because of concerns that your conventional cooker may be hot.
So, what can this unit cook? Well, probably easier to say what it can’t cook – basically anything really large, like a large chicken/turkey, a large pizza (unless you cut it into smaller pieces before cooking), and, that’s about it. It’ll cook just about anything else. Here are a few things it’s good for (there are hundreds):
-oven heating ready-meals
-cooking oven chips
-cooking anything that you would cook in a saucepan on your hob
-grilling food (bacon, say)
-baked potatoes
-stews
-cakes
-bread
-steaming vegetables
-cooking things that you would normally deep fat fry (air frying instead)
and the list goes on and on
If you don’t have any experience with slow/pressure cookers and air fryers, this could be a steep learning curve, but the included booklets and the videos you can find on the internet really help. Decide what you want to cook and then look at the included guide to see what settings and timings you should use.
I’ve only cooked a few things soo far, but all have come out of the unit really nicely cooked and really crispy (where food is meant to be).
The display and buttons make things a lot easier for choosing your cooking method, temperatures and timings. There’s a ‘keep warm’ function that will automatically keep the food warm when cooked, which is great.
I know from what I’ve read and what friends have said, that Ninja products are high-end and well thought of, albeit with a price to match.
I can see myself using this item several times a week, and my conventional oven being rarely used. I’m impressed with it and don’t have any complaints. It’s the Swiss Army Knife of modern cooking devices. Just make sure you have a place for it to be both stored and used!

Fantastic cooke
I’m really happy with this because it’s very easy to use and so much quick cooking this cooker will save my time. Don’t miss this fantastic Ninja Cooker.
OMG! Like seriously wow! So firstly it’s 7.5 litres it’s a big baby! She is very noticeable but beautiful and intuitive! If you are like me, impatient don’t want to read the whole manual but just want to get cooking, it’s so simple to use that you can figure it out on the go. There are a few things you will need to read in the manual like the pressure valve. Removing and cleaning the inner valve (not entire sure what it’s called). Cos she is a big baby at first I was a little intimidated but hey it was Christmas Day and I had a whole heap of things cooking, the cooker, oven and just air fryer appliances were already busy but I was short on time so had to burst open this baby! Did the pressure test all was good once I figured out what was up!

I threw in Goat meat with seasoning and some water and pressure cooked within 25 mins it was cooked and tender! Imagine 25 mins for 40/50 worth of goat meat from the local butchers, drastically cutting cook time. Then I drained the meat juices ready for the Jollof (serious omi eran) and gave Ninja baby a quick wash, added the basket and put goat back in to air fry, after around 2 rounds of 15 mins done! Then I added plantain to air steam fry, this was 3 rounds and took a bit longer but then there was a lot of plantain! Either way I used the pressure cooker, air fry and air steam fry functionso easy and my goat dodo (mixed with pepper sauce) was delicious OMG! Yes BUY IT! It doesn’t have to be the biggest size I.e 7.5 if smaller Family (1/2 people) single person go for the smaller size! This gadget/appliance is so worth it and it’s my first Ninja baby experience! Loved it! Right what to cook/experiment with next!
What can I say about this machine apart from WOW! It does everything in one machine and I’m just learning to use it’s functions and so far I’ve used it to pressure cook for baking and it has an amazing air frying capability still learning but so far I’m well pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Upgraded after old ninja max died

I always swore by my ninja max air fryer and this is the perfect upgrade, a little pricey but I use it everyday and it cooks perfectly

Great machine made some lovely meals.
It takes a bit of getting used to so I have had a few failures. Chicken of all kinds cooks so nice and my beef stew which usually cooks in oven all day was done to perfection in 30 minutes.

Very easy to use, it has many functions, please read operating instructions,, you will not go wrong… Easy cleaning, cannot fault it…
What I like is its ability to steam roast a whole meal. It’s probe works well. It’s air fryer capability works very well. I bought it for its steam bake bread and that also works well. One lid is means there is no having to find storage for or placement of a hot lid whilst you deal with saute or stir the food.
What I really don’t like is the short lead, it’s very short and recommends not to use an extension lead. This limits where to put it. Also, when using any steam bake setting, there is a great deal of steam emissions. My extractor couldn’t cope with the amount and my cupboards near the unit got wet, there was a fine mist of steam on my glass door too. I’ve had to move the unit into a room away from my cupboards. But this meant moving away from my kitchen which isn’t ideal.
I’ve now gone back to my instant pot pro for anything that involves pressure cooking or steam cooking.

I wanted an air fryer but after doing some research I bought ninja foodi. I’ve received it end of Jan 22 and I have tried and tested it throughout and I am comfortable to say I AM IN LOVE WIT IT! If you are/were like me and was looking for air fryer don’t! Get the Foodi you can create so much more in it! Cooking, frying, baking and much more! So much so I am considering to buy it for my mum. My sister got one too! Yes! You have to get use to it but it is really easy and straight forward. Yes it’s big and can be overwhelming but Cooking is quick and food is absolutely delicious! You can have a full meal in 20 min! What else you can ask for? Can I recommend it? ABSOLUTELY YESSSS!!!!

My best kitchen gadget ever!
Ticks all boxes. A must have for all busy mums if you have the space. My life is transformed thank you. My only regret is with the manufacturer — reported very early that the cooking pot is not that robust and has got scratched even with a wooden spoon— still waiting for a replacement!!

I deliberated for ages before deciding to go for it and buy this item. I needn’t have worried, it is absolutely brilliant and I’m loving it!!! I did also buy the UK/European cook book at the same time, which I’m very glad I did as otherwise I might have taken a lot longer to try different things. I’ve only had it a short while and have achieved wonderful results at the first attempt, e.g. roast chicken, chips, beef, roast potatoes, a beef casserole, shepherd’s pie – to name but a few. I haven’t yet used all the functions, but look forward to trying them. I find it so easy to clean and it really saves me so much time, not to mention energy as I’m turning my main cooker on much less than I did. I’m lucky I have a large, deep cupboard that can house it and I combined buying it with disposing of 2 slow cookers and my air fryer. I was sad to see the slow cookers go as I was quite attached to them & a fan of this way of cooking, but the Ninja Foodi does just as good a job. If you’re debating this purchase, just do it & I’m sure you won’t regret it.

I should have bought a Ninja Foodi ages ago, absolutely love it! Had it for a month now and I’m using it practically every day which I didn’t expect, but it’s just so good. Pressure cooking is fabulous, complete meals in a short time. I really like the air fry function with very little or no oil. Cleaning is easy too. Definitely recommend.

Have had my foodi now for a couple of days and boy, am I impressed!! Found cooking a drag and this foodi has just made my life sooo much easier! Made a roast tonight and recipe said it would take 25 minutes, was a bit sceptical but lo and behold, it was ready in 25 minutes!! (After the preheat) but just wow.. didn’t have to keep checking up on it or remove the vegetables as would do with an oven.. everything was ready at the same time. Added some bisto to remaining stock/drippings and made gravy out of that.. everything in one pot!

I have only had the Ninja for a few days and only used the pressure cooker function so far. I found that It is so quiet, it is a pleasure. The parcel arrived earlier than expected on a weekend without pre-warning, which is a problem where I live, but the parcel itself was very sturdy, no complaint there.
It comes with a small book of recipes and clear instructions about the different functions. I had a slight difficulty locking the pressure lid at first as I had removed the silicone ring to wash it and had not fully pressed it down back in place in a small section of the lid, so it would not close. It got me puzzled for a while but I appreciated the safety measure that prevented me from proceeding further. I intend to try the oven function next week. You have to realise that it is much larger and higher than a pot . I would say that it occupies the space of my microwave oven nicely. My only complaint so far is the length of the electric cord, which is just too short to be used anywhere in my kitchen so I have no option but to use an extension. It mentions that the reason for it is to avoid accidents with children but microwave oven, kettles, toasters have longer cords and are as dangerous, and anyway there are no children where I live!

When I first bought this, I was super excited to use it, especially the steam, pressure cook & air crisp (air fry) feature and I was blown away. Men, you no longer need your wives (unless you cook), women, you can take a break from slaving over the stove and parents, this is so simple, your kids can use it. I first cook a beef burger and some chips in this, using the ‘air crisp’ feature on about 190 for 10 minutes and my goodness, the chips came out crispy and perfect, the burger was fully cooked inside and out, no red or pink bits at all.
I then made some chicken nuggets for dinner and these were vegan nuggets that were done in 5 minutes, though they need about 15 minutes in my oven.
Be warned though, when you first use it, there will be a warm plastic/metal type smell, but this is completely normal and goes away after the first use, it is nothing to worry about at all and doesn’t affect the taste or smell of your food in any way, shape or form.
I can’t go longer than 24 hours without using this machine and it comes with an instruction manual, a recipe book and a leaflet on what foods cook best in what mode and it comes with a metal steaming rack and a steaming lid.
If I ever want something quick after work, I know I can count on my 9-in1 Foodi.
The only con is that I can’t both air crisp beef or chicken and vegetable because it would make the vegetables dry, but perhaps pressure cooking or steaming vegetables, setting them aside and then air crisping, roasting or grilling the vegetables are the way to go for a tasty meal. – Just some things to make note of.

What can’t it do?!
Fantastic piece of kit. Can do everything we need it to. We actually no longer use our oven, we just the use the Ninja Foodi for everything. We can cook family meals in it and the food comes out better than using the oven.

Great buy
Only had 10 days but really liking it. Have not used oven since purchasing the Ninja. I’ve cooked a large chicken, roasted potatoes and parsnips, stew and pasta and bacon in it. Haven’t used pressure cooker yet so can’t comment on that. You should be aware however that it is rather heavy so would need to have room on worktop and enough space above to open the lid

Love everything about the ninja 15 in 1 , easy to use so far only being using for one week but love it , 1st thing I made was a cheese toastie also made bacon in it , I’ve dehydrated a beef joint it was so good and made chicken noodle soup yesterday loving i
i recently upgraded from a 9 in 1 to 15 in 1 due to steam functions and one lid on the new ninja
its been used nearly everyday to make roast chicken in the steam roast function with potatoes at the bottom. Its the best chicken ever! however not so good on roast beef as rare comes out medium for me with the probe,
other functions such as air fry which i used on the 9 in 1 before is excellent on this model and I have done both jacket potatoes and , salt and pepper ribs and wings.
only gripe is it is a big machine and the normal steam function isn’t as good as steaming on the hob or slow cooker of a proper slow cooker
other than that its a brillant everyday gadget. I rarely use my oven.

I absolutely love this product. We are having our kitchen done and bought this to help us through without the cooker. I’ve been looking at this product for a number of years now and was always put off by the multiple lids of previous models and when Ninja came out with the new Smart lid I had to have the excuse to get one and a new kitchen it was! I will still use this product when the kitchen is finished it produces very tasty and juicy meats and meals! Air Fry option is obviously healthier but even frozen foods like hash browns are amazing! I can’t praise this product enough 🙂
Fab but a steep learning curve
This feels like a solid quality product. It’s a little overwhelming at first as there are so many different ways to cook. I’m a good cook but did find this a little intimidating at first. The cook book supplied is a little lightweight – yes there’s a selection of random receipes but it’s in no way strong enough to support the switch to this style of cooking. The saving grace is that there are a number of Face*book groups to find support, guidance and tried and tested receipes/timings.
It’s quite a tall unit and the lid needs to open of course so (in my opinion) not suitable for use under wall cupboards. In addition there are significant steam releases (from the pressure cooker mode) which will damage cupboard finishes – be aware.
Definitely love it, will be utilising it more and more and highly recommend!
Highly recommend
I’ve made cakes, a full roast dinner, steaks, a stew, bacon toasties amongst many things. My freezer is full from batch cooking and the Ninja only arrived 23 days ago. I’d recommend silicone utensils and small silicone oven gloves in order not to scratch the pan and to lift out the inner pans

Well I bought one for my wife for Christmas. She said’i didn’t want one what have you bought that for?’ A few weeks in and it’s a different story with comments like, versatile, I’ve never used a pressure cooker, does great chips and roasties and the roast chicken looks great. She is going to try yoghurt and dried fruit next. The keep warm facility is a nice touch. We also bought a cook book suited to the uk market.

Game change
Food cooked in half the time, tender, crisp and simply fantastic. Don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t changed my life to the extent it has made me more attractive, or I no longer have to take food out of the fridge/ freezer, or I no longer have to wash my clothes, or I’m exempt from paying taxes. But it definitely cooks food fantastically & im just scratching the surface.
Getting this has saved me from the same meals I was bored with. Get a cookbook too for inspiration – although it does come with a handy booklet. Being able to cook joints of meat and a whole chicken in half the time it would take in the oven is amazing. Picture shows air fry stir fry. Depending on how crispy you like your veg, it takes between five and ten minutes to do and the beef took six minutes on air fry. Absolutely love this gadget and use it every day!

Fantastic addition to the kitchen appliances
This is a great machine when you master it this is and up grade for my partner who is a fantastic cook saving on power as well the only down fall is I didn’t quite purchase this item as the measurements I think are wrong as my partner wanted it to sit under the wall cabinets when not in use the measurements state that this machine is 41 cm tall were I’ve measured it and got at 35 cm so this sits on a chopping board which is easy to slide out of the wall cabinets sure that it can be used and then slid back under the cabinet when not in use so be aware as if you would be in 41 cm I would not of purchased as it would not fit under the wall cabinets for storage

I like my new Ninja but I found it is very hard to find correct recipe. There are lots of them for Ninja but for different models, especially for old. They have different features and recipes can’t be 100% match new Ninja so you have to experiment a lots before you know what you are doing. My new 11-1 is 2021 model with 2 steam modes, I did not find any receipt for it in internet or in any cooking book. So preparing the food is a bit of a challenge. Also after one week of usage I have scales which can’t be removed/ cleaned and as you can see in the photo there is a black spot which is actually a big scratch. How it can happen in a week time… I have no clue… But overall I would say 4 stars.

Wouldn't be without now
I love my ninja. Best thing I have bought in a while. Use it all the time. Full time working and great for good quick meals. Highly recommended
Multi use, cooks joints perfectly using the probe.
Great for roasting joints with probe. I have cooked a lovely moist cake, and used the pressure cook function to make mash which turned out nice, I have found the ninja help groups useful for tips
and ideas.

I bought this for my daughter as I have the older version, with two lida, this is much more convenient.

I’m writing this having used it for a couple of weeks, so early days yet, but it has been put to good use. Having used Tefal Actifryer’s for many years, I thought this time I’d take a plunge on something different. A major attraction of this unit is the versatility through multiple cooking modes.
Advantages:
+Works extremely well
+Can replace several gadgets in one (pressure cooker, air fryer, slow cooker, dehydrator etc.)
+Build quality seems very good – looks built to last
+Has been easy to keep clean thus far – internal pots etc. easy to remove and clean.
+Accessories readily available – spare cooking pots, replacement parts etc.
Disadvantages:
-Need somewhere separate to store the accessories like the pressure cooking lid and rack
-Quite large and heavy, about 10 kg, so not easy for some to move around
-Air fryer usually needs some manual shaking/moving around of food during cooking when using it with larger amounts, to get evenly cooked food
-Can’t be used under kitchen units, at least if you don’t want to ruin them!
-Rather expensive and complicated if you don’t need the multi-functions (you could get a much cheaper air fryer for example, if that was all you wanted to use).
-Far from silent (but much quieter than a Tefal Actifryer)
The air fryer element of it is probably what I’ve used most. For oven chips and things like chicken nuggets, it works great – the powerful fan moves the air around to create evenly browned food with a nice crispy fried-like outside. I’ve tried chips from raw potatoes and these worked less well (still OK) but there is plenty of room for experimentation with cooking time, temperature, potato variety etc. As mentioned, it benefits from the occasional shake up to move things around in this mode, particularly when cooking larger quantities. A definite advantage of not having a “stirrer” like the Actifry models is that more delicate foods can be cooked in it without breaking up.
The pressure cooker is good too. You can knock up a nice tender beef stew in about an hour and it tastes like its been slow cooked. A chilli or bolognese can be done from scratch in about 20 minutes. The built in saute/sear function allows you to do it all in one pot – brown the meat, and anything like garlic, onions and spices in the pot on the saute mode, then add liquid and fit the pressure lid to do the remainder of the cooking. You can quickly depressurise by opening the steam valve, which allows you to add ingredients that need less cooking later in the process. Cooking like this really seems to lock in the flavour.
It features an oven type mode and you can cook for example, a whole chicken in it, although I have not put this to the test yet. It heats up fast so I’m sure is more efficient than using a full sized oven. Overall I’m very happy with the item and would recommend it.
A must have in the kitche
This is one of the best things I’ve ever bought. Goodbye to the oven and hob. So economical especially with electric prices rising the other roof. It takes half the time to cook and is so versatile. I would definitely recommend. I use this everyday.

Where to start, I’ve cooked about everything in it and would not be without it now.
Started with a 9 in 1 which was sadly faulty so had to return it via Amazon and they then had the upgraded 14-1 available.
Bonus is it only had one lid so not separate pressure cooking lid which is fantastic and has other steam/bake functions as well.
You can almost do away with your oven with a bit of forethought and planning and site this will save on bills. Old school pasta and bake in the oven takes best part of an hour, in the Ninja it pressure cools for 5 minutes and then grills for 3 to melt the cheese topping. Roasts, bakes, cakes, breakfasts, pies, soups, curries, desserts, the list is endless. The only thing to check is has a big footprint on terms of counter space.

It’s is easy to learn how to use this – I have done a lasagne, mince and tatties, pork steaks and homemade chips and also dehydrated fruit for my gin in it already. All dishes are ok for the dishwasher and easy to clean. It really is a great machine.

So pleased with my Ninja 9-in-1. Does soo many things! We’re still experimenting but have had great success already. It’s so versatile and effortlessly easy to navigate the functions. Really pleased with this. I should have got one ages ago. As expected from Ninja it’s sturdy and feels well made. Delighted!

I wish I'd bought it soone
I love this machine it’s one of the best purchases I have made. I use it daily, its quick and easy to use. The bowl comes out and is lightweight. It’s nonstick and really easy to clean. The grill guard on the inside of the lid is a bit trickier as it doesn’t come off so can miss bits. Roast chicken, gammon, soup, gravy and roast tatties all got made in the ninja for Christmas Dinner. I have yet to try baking a cake in it.

I cooked the chicken in the Ninja 9in1 multi cooker on Christmas Day, the pressure cooker feature cooked the chicken pretty much fully in 15 to 20 minutes then the air crisp feature gives it a lovely golden skin without drying the chicken out, top job.

Bought this product and it was excellent. Very easy to use and all in one but I had to return as the lid was making loud noises on air fryer. Asked my friend and hers wasn’t making these noises so I think mine was faulty but still a very good product that made my life easier.

Get an extra main pot and the bake ware and there’s nothing you can’t cook. In three weeks I’ve not used my main oven or grill once!
Great machine
This ninja air fryer is perfect only had it for a couple of weeks but used it every day, cooks very quickly half the time as my normal oven so saving money with it easy to use and clean.
I’ve recently purchased this, and so far have found it incredible at what it does and will definitely replace my Instant Pot Duo (only because the ninja does so much more) and my stand alone air fryer. The ninja seems really well built and easy to use and has the bonus of having one smart lid, so no swapping of lids as the former product had
I’ll be using this more and more over the winter, making big batches of food to freeze down and then have ‘ready meals’ to warm up, taking the hassle out of thinking what to cook each night
So far, this has also replaced my main cooker, that I haven’t used for a while and the Ninja also cooks quicker as there’s less space being heated and therefore electric costs should come down too

As good as I hoped
Got this as a Black Friday deal . Absolute bargin actually saving 70 . I have made several roast dinners as it so simple and quick . Have also used to air fry , grill and pressure cook saves time and on general cooking such as sausages it takes about 6/8 minutes off the traditional oven cooking time and they do taste better. Obviously bulky takes up a fair bit of space and you need to find a home for the extra lid but I am very happy with this purchase.

Didn’t need all the options but this 9-1 was on offer where as the 7-1 wasn’t. Glad I went for the 6ltr as it should fit a whole chicken ok. Need to have the instructions handy as there are so many things to set. Looking forward to mastering them all.
This air fryer is all singing and dancing but far too big and heavy for our kitchen. I didn’t realise how big it looked until I unboxed it and put it in our kitchen. It’s also very heavy if you plan to store it away when not used. I immediately sent it back.

Ninja multi cooke
Not had the cooker very long, it takes a bit to get use too, but what we’ve tried has been very tasty, so far so good. Used it in place of… Slow cooker, air fryer and normal oven and that’s the main thing we wanted it for.
Love this thing
Been wanting a ninja foodi for a while. Gotta push notification saying a bit of money off, and being a Yorkshire bloke thought why not. Cant stop using it. Did a rib eye steak the other night, absolutely spot on. Best thing I ever bought. We’re due to have a new kitchen installed early 2022, whuch could be an expensive ornament at this rate.
