Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersFabulous product easy to use, quick to cook. I had my doubts about cooking chips I have had an air fryer before and chips were disappointing. However this little beauty makes great chips my husband even said these chips are good. He did not know they were cooked in the air fryer. Looking forward to trying new recipes to really seeing what this bit of kit can do.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis great little air fryer is compact, good looking and extremely efficient. Incredibly well insulated, reduces wasted heat and gives faster cooking times. Since buying this I barely use my kitchen fan oven, and this unit is cheaper to run. Another plus is that less heaf escapes; a handy feature when cooking during heatwaves.

No waiting for oven to come up to temperature, very easy to clean, versatile and easy to use. The Sync and Match functions make cooking different dishes at the same time really easy. Best ever kitchen gadget.

I got this a few weeks ago now and barely use the oven any more. It is absolutely great for cooking my family meals – all meat comes out far more tender than anything I ever cook in the oven. Chips and potatoes are easy to do and cook evenly if you remember to shake them every now and then. I handwash the pans after each use and this is quick and easy to do. Highly recomend.

Easy to clean, simple and quick to use and has made cooking so much easier. I have been cooking things I wouldn’t normally cook and we have had far less takeaways since as it’s so hassle free!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPurchased for the wife’s birthday as she loves buffalo wings and they’re just not the same in the oven. The Ninja air fryer is a game changer for crisp, delicious chicken and has the side benefit of draining all of the fat away too! We’ve used it for everything we can and although not perfect at everything it’s very usable and fast. Just the job at a melted breakfast ham and cheese croissant as much as turns out great hash browns. All in all, very happy!

I was always sceptical of Air Fryers, I always thought of them as mini ovens and no point. I was wrong. Food comes out crispier, tastier and juicier than if cooked in an oven. Chips, fish, chicken, vegetables, the list goes on, it’s used daily. The Sync and Match functions are amazing. Add chicken in one basket and potatoes in the other, and they’re ready at the same time.
It’s dishwasher safe and I’ve had no problem putting the baskets in the dishwasher for an easy clean.
    100% recommend

I have an older type air fryer and I felt it was ok but very slow so I set about by doing a bit of research and looking on YouTube I decided the Ninja was the one for us. I’ve used it almost every day and love the two draws where you can cook different foods at the same time. I would say that if you are a family of 4 or more then I would go for the bigger ninja as you have lots more cooking space. I love mine so I’m happy.

We bought a single air fryer, but realised its limitations quickly and bought this. I definitely recommend paying more and going for the double. This one is amazing, especially if you also order the extra shelf for each side (see the paperwork that comes with it), meaning you can do 4 layers of food at once if needed. The sync feature (allowing everything to be ready at once) is just great. The power consumption is way less than an oven and it cooks better and faster. I can’t recommend this one enough. Another great thing is that you can put the trays in the dishwasher – a great way of keeping your ‘oven’ clean at all times.

  58. Anonymous says:

Already have the older single tray version but after a couple of years the non-stick doesn’t work so well now, still a great air fryer though.

Anyway, decided to go for this dual tray version as we often like to cook chips and onion rings, being able to cook them separately and able to set the timers to sync so the food finishes cooking at the same time is genius!

Just buy one, you won’t regret it.

Bought this whole unsure it would get too much use.
    How wrong we were.
Deep fat fryer retired within the week.
Used almost daily, has also taken some use from the oven as well with its baking function – cheaper to run, no preheating, little to no oil.
Being able to set the two sides to different temperatures, cooking types and times and have the unit do it’s thing so everything is ready at the same time is so convenient it’s almost like cheating.
E.G. garlic bread in one side (Oven, 9 minutes) and mozzarella sticks in the other (Max Crisp, 7 minutes) – push one button and it starts the bead off, and after 2 min automatically starts off the cheesy bits.
    Hands-free cooking.

    Cleaning is an effortless snap.
Put a little soapy water in both sides, run for 3 min on max, rinse out.

We have the ActiFry already but wanted to try this after seeing rave reviews on various platforms. This is fantastic for most things, although the ActiFry is better for chips. We have tried roast whole chicken came out very juicy, pork joint came out with crackling and sausages came out juicy. As this has 2 baskets you can cook two things at different temperature and times. The sync time function has been brilliant for roast dinners and we haven’t used the oven much since we have the Ninja. The baskets are non stick and only need a wipe down with a sponge. Would definitely recommend

I have 3 teenage boys in the house eating different things at different times but all involving putting the oven on meaning the oven would be being used a minimum of 3 times a day, taking 20 minutes to get up to temperature. Wincing at watching the meter go round I brought this more in hope than expectation.

We have found it cooks the things you would expect like chicken nuggets, fish fingers etc but strangely it is terrible at chips. The real revelation is when we tried frozen steak bakes (and all the variations), sausage rolls and deep dish pizzas. The deep dish pizzas are 7 minutes on max crisp as opposed to 20 in the oven , steak bakes 15 minutes (10mins on 160C; 5 minutes on 220C) compared to 40 minutes oven time. All great teenager lunch snacks.

Now I have got to grips with it the Ninja is my go to kit for chicken, sausages, fish, garlic bread, bacon, burgers etc basically anything you would put in the oven or under the grill in half the cooking time even without the time to bring the oven up to temperature. i will see what happens to the electric bill

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this on a whim as my son is coeliac and so is cooking separate things is sometimes a challenge if we aren’t having the same meal

Initially I was a little bit worried about using it as the instructions are limited but I soon got my confidence and use it every day I love the fact that it is so easy to clean and you can have food on the table in half the time of using a traditional oven

It cooks meat and fish perfectly as well as crispy healthy fries and potatoes

I start a jacket potato in the microwave and then finish it on grill for about 20 minutes and it is absolutely perfect! I use it for bacon as well

My son has the gluten-free bread that needs baking and so was switching the oven on every day just for a couple of rolls but now we put it in this for five minutes and it is perfect

not only is it convenient but it is much cheaper to run than an oven and there is no warm up time

I love it and can’t recommend it enough I tell everybody about it!

I bought this when my actifry broke and haven’t looked back! It’s opened up a whole new way of cooking.. roast beef is the best and so is the chicken. I hardly use my oven at all these days. Not sure how much it saves on energy compared to my oven but I’m guessing it does as there’s no pre heating involved and the cooking time is less.

  64. LouellaKilburn says:

I haven’t used my oven since buying this, and with the price increases for gas I think I bought it at the right time.
I use it every single day and have since also bought one of the Njnja pressure cookers too.
They’re so easy to use and once you’ve perfected the right time and temperature for your preferred level of crispiness / consistency / texture etc you can just use the same settings every time for the same results.
I don’t know how I managed before it.

Fantastically easy to use. Dishwasher safe. Great if you have a caoeliac in the house, as the 2 cooking compartments are totally self-contained.
I have found the cooking times to be off. You have to cook most things for less than the book says. It does depend on how much food you are putting in.
I have used it for crispy bacon, sausages, potato wedges, chips, sausagemeat and sweet potato recipe that comes with, you can bake with it too. Yet to try that. It is so handy. I was always in a jam if my oven had, say a pizza in it, this gives you an easy way to do other food. It saves me time. It has a sync function, so the 2 drawers are ready at the same time. Also a match function where it repeats what you have programmed on the 1st drawer to the 2nd. It’s worth every penny

This is a game changer. It cooks food quickly, evenly, chips, fish fingers, sausages, pizza, garlic bread, chicken ,fish.. everything! so easy to use, no cooking skills required.
The product feels sturdy and quality and thankfully easy to clean, you can remove the base and wash / submerge it. It must be extremely efficient too, rather heating a conventional oven to 200 for 45 mins, for a few chips and sausgaes, it can just heat the small basket for 5 minutes to do the same job. And we all need to save on energy bills right now….
I can’t speak for rival products but this is definitely worth purchasing.

We got a bit sick of the deep fat fryer, the smell when oil was getting a bit thin, then the changing oil and cleaning the greasy equipment, Well no more. What a revelation, getting the af100uk, we thought we’d try it on a few frozen curly chips to start, see how it went, well, absolutely perfect, jut like when deep fried but without the oil and as quick, then last night decided to try it on sausage and bacon, one set in the fryer and one under the grill, just to compare, well apart from the sausages (cooked from frozen in both) crisping but not browning in the air frier like under the grill, which could just be a timing/temperature learning curve, you could not tell the difference between the two separate plates, absolutely spot on. The air frier seems so much easier, with a nice bright display and easy to operate, not like the VCRs of old.
We have only had it for two days but are so impressed with this model so far we would highly recommend. One noticeable thing was the original newness smell when first used which has lingered around for a while but am sure will go once in full use.

I have cooked a variety of items so far…..only had it a couple of weeks so much more experimenting to do. Makes oven chips much better than in the oven. Cooks chicken breasts beautifully in 20 minutes. Cooks burgers without stinking out the house with greasy smelly smoke. Great for steaks. Re-heats pies to perfection. Haven’t tried baking in it yet but will give it a try. Love that by selecting ‘sync’ different foods are ready at the same time. Highly recommended.

The results from this air fryer are brilliant and consistent no matter what you are cooking. The fryer has two independent draws so you can use either one or both together. You can cook a full meal all at the same time as each draw has its own independent functions, temperature and time scales so you can air fry in one draw and roast in the other, cook chicken in one and chips in the other, it has a sync button so even though the cooking time and settings maybe different for each draw the meal will finish at the same time. If both draws are cooking say a family portion of chips you can press the match button and the fryer will set draw 2 to the same settings as draw 1. Because of its non-stick coating of excellent quality, it is so easy to clean which is a bonus. There are much cheaper air fryers out there but this one is top quality, very functional with excellent results and my wife and I would without hesitation recommend this one.

you can set both at different times and temperature and they finish at the same time. This cooks faster than a normal fan oven and gives a some what better crispyness on things like chips or even a good old sausage.
If i had a better oven i wouldn’t buy this though. Ultimately we are just lazy and we want to be more lazy by finding shortcuts lol which saves us time to be more lazy in other lazy activities we participate i

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got this Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Airfryer for my hubby to use, as he likes the convenience of good quality gadgets as I do. It’s a clever air fryer that can use just one drawer or both. They can synchronise to finish at the same time, even though one needs less time or a different temperature or cooking method. It has cooked things well, it comes with a booklet on cooking times, like all airfryer machines it is a bit of trial and error, we have cooked a whole medium chicken in one drawer successfully and cooked sauted potatoes in the other. It does bake too like an oven. I like the fact the drawers and inner trays are dishwasher safe. The only thing is the size of it, I put it on an IKEA trolley I’d bought for this as our worktop space was lacking. It’s a great addition to our kitchen, I definitely recommend getting the bigger one as the drawers aren’t huge. Happy to recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove this air fryer it’s the first for us, but glad we have purchased it. So far we have cooked whole chicken, Duck breast, sweet potatoes, jacket potatoes, note start jacket potato in microwave first then finish off in the Air Fryer. Also have cooked whole joint of beef all absolutely perfect, just watch the recommended timings! This fryer cooks fast! We love it plus saving energy not heating whole oven space

I have been looking for an air fryer for a while. I was recommended this one by a friend. I was dubious about the price, but now I have it, it’s well worth the money. Since having it my oven is very rarely used and I can see a difference in my electricity usage, due to not having to preheat it. You can cook such a wide range of foods and the booklet that comes with it is a good guide as well as recipes found on the internet. It is also very easy to clean. Yes it’s expensive, but now I have it I will never look back.

Ordered this because my wife seen it in John Lewis, but delivery was faster with Amazon and the same price. I did think it would be one of those things that are on the side in the kitchen used a few times the relegated to the back of the cupboard, but to be honest it gets used every day, you can cook all sorts in it and it’s fast, very easy to clean and according to my electric smart meter used considerably less power than using the oven. “Result”

With the rising cost of domestic energy under the microscope it is more important than ever to gear up for the tough months, possibly years ahead. That’s where this product shines brighest, with its duel zone air fryer system and slick design it makes cooking simple, delicious and cost effective.
It’s so easy to use that even my 7 year old nephew is now completely fascinated by all things Air Fryer, even to the point he’s offered to cook if he gets to use it. Bonus!

Not a product to missed! It is so much easier to use than the Ninja Foodi 7in1 as it’s literally just 3 taps to create a perfectly meal every single time. Magic!

The lightweight trays and easy to grip handles make it a doddle to use for my Mom who struggles with severe authritis, yet even she has started to enjoy cooking again.

    Roast Chicken
    Steak
    Sweet Potato Fries
    Bacon
    Ready Meals
    Quiche
    Muffins

    The list is endless….

This cookware is easiest item in the kitchen yet holds such mystery.. my husband thinks it is the Tardis and I am so clever to produce such results from it yet once a book has been read it is child’s play. I do recommend a cookbook for the many recipes that are available to you its a case of load and walk away because it turns off when finished with a mind like mine that is fabulous and adds a level of security to multi tasking.
The machine is a good size but fits nice on the side it looks nice too the cleaning is just so simple I have used and wiped it over or used and washed either way it is easy. Although not cheap I do recommend this for any kitchen if the cost is beyond your means get a one draw machine because either way it is a revolution in the kitchen. It cooks fast and clean it does not smell out the kitchen and looks great what more could you want.

I’m not easily impressed with products nowadays, they all seem to sell a dream but in reality it’s a let downbut on this occasion my choice to spend more on a what I thought was (but prayed it wasn’t) a gimmick has turned out to be better than the text that describes it.
Cut to the chase..being able to cook dishes at once AND have them finish at the same time is a real life changer.!! I’ve had 1 tray fryers before and although they’re good and have large capacity baskets they could only ever cook 1 food at a time and with kids having fish fingers or sausages I’d need to turn the grill on or oven on which defeats the object of having the fryer.

The Ninja Foodi does exactly what is say on the sales talk and advertsbut much better in reality when you can cook perfect fish fingers and French fries at the same time and have them finish to be dished up on the plate together and just add beans!

Cooking times need to be managed but that’s fine as it depends on the quantity being cooked so to be expected. It reduces cooking time, no heat up time.just pick your setting press start and off it goes.

It’s fairly quiet to for a fryer even when both trays are preparing your culinary delights.

Yes, this is more expensive than other brands and fryers.but you pay for what you get, they also have spare trays available to buy.

You won’t be disappointed, so far I’ve cooked fish fingers, French fries, bacon, sausages, part baked rolls (amazing, see image), chicken wings, sausage rolls, meat pies, chicken pieces.if you want photos of the results please ask.

Happy to write the review as I’m very happy with the product and believe credit where credit is due..well done Ninja for a great product!

    Not a gimmick-such a great produc

Returned a Tefal Active Fry as it was hopeless and this works SO much better. Sausages done in 10 mins, chips get crispy – saves energy and saves time. Needs a couple of shakes during cooking but its quick easy. Ours is being retuned as it cuts out and switches completely off mid programme so hopefully the next one will be fine. Since we have had we literally haven’t used the main 2000w oven which takes 5 mins to warm up and uses double the power of ONE drawer in this.

Golden Review Award: 32 From Our UsersI have had my Ninja for a week and am find8ng it fantastic. I am 82 years old and thought it would be a nightmare to learn how to use but quite the opposite it is easy, and very adaptable. The pictures show my first offerings of little cakes. Just a small amount of mix, 4,4,4 & 2 eggs made 10 little cakes, 5 with butter icing and 5 fruit. I wasn’t sure of timing so just put on for 10 mins and then increased a few minutes at a time until happy. I really should write the timing down and will next time. The pork chops were amazing., just rubbed with oil, and then added salt and sage & onion herbs. I had the chops in one basket for 12 mins on air fry and the baked potatoes in the other for an hour, turning over each half way through. Potatoes too big delivered by Tesco but my hubby loves his baked pots. I saved one of mine for the following day. As you can tell I am very excited and pleased with my air fryer, the dual max 2.

    Fantastic

Since buying, I have used my ninja daily, and I haven’t used the oven at all. I made bread rolls yesterday on the dehydrate and then bake settings, egg on toast, gorgeous homemade chips and wedges. I would definitely get the bigger version for a family of 4 but I love this one. It can cook wet foods but I wouldn’t cook a soup for example. Cupcakes were amazing but I wouldn’t cook broccoli although things like roasted Brussels would probably be very nice. No downsides so far but you will need worksurface space, it’s too big and heavy to store in a cupboard and it needs room all around to allow airflow otherwise it could overheat. It must not be placed on a cooker either. Overall 5 star product.

First time user of any air fryer . Excellent size for a family and easy to use . Has many functions with a sync option . Easy to clean and dry .Great time saver if you are multi tasking and have a busy household like me . Nice big baskets and the settings are very clear and precise as you can adapt them to your preferences. Only thing it is missing for me is a “pause” button as that would be beneficial, but that is just my opinion. Cooks great without little or no oil and food tastes good. All in all i am very pleased with this as i got it at a great price at the time . Would recommend .

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWanted something easier to use, quicker than an oven & easier to clean. The features are handy, I wouldn’t say the chips etc are better than fat fried but they are a healthier alternative & better than oven cooking. You do need to shake chips midway though for a decent result and not burnt Chips.

It says the trays are dish wasable. There’s no way that non stick coating & plastic chrome’s (I’ll come on to that) looks dish washable. In fact when reading other reviews people had commented that their non stick has begun to peel. Mine has peeled slightly on the top respite hand washing & no where in that location for it to scrape on after a few days use. They said return it but what’s the point when Amazon doesn’t have the model back in stock for the price I got it for. They don’t do replacements. If it gets worse or in the tray itself I’ll have to.

For the price of the unit I’d expect metal chrome trims and handles. Not the cheap plastic Chrome they use. I was very disappointed about that. Overall, cosmetics aside it is a good unit. Much easier and quicker to cook and I don’t regret the purchase. I just wished they took a bit more pride in their build considering the cost compared to competitors.

IM new to the whole air fryer revolution but I knew one thing, I wanted a Ninja.

Having used their products before the Ninja is up there and consistently held as one of the best.

This is the entry level to their range btu for me is fantastic as it lets me cook my chicken each day with zero fuss and mess and it tastes just as good as if I had pan fried it.

This model has cooking/temp and time controls. And the really reason you should buy this over others, the ceramic crisping plate and the bowl are super easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

I do wish it had a minute minder on it, but it is the entry level model.

If I were to buy again I would probably get the larger version or even the two draw one but on reflection, for its intended purpose it serves me well.

I just love the Ninja air fryer I’ve hardly used my oven since I bought this item. No waiting for the oven to heat up. I just pop food in the fryer, maybe chips in one side and sausages, fish or whatever in the other side. Easy to set up, even if it’s different cooking times. The fryer will hold the shorter cooking time so both are ready at the same time I was worried when I ordered it as I thought it might be complicated but couldn’t be simpler. Thoroughly recommend great buy
