This is the exact one that comes with the switch. If like me, you have your cables for your switch behind a tv and it is tough to get too, get a second one to take around with you

My husband kept borrowing my original plug and I got fed up. Works as well as the original. Only a mark off as it’s a bit pricey for a plug.
More expensive than the non Nintendo chargers but I’m happy with this one.
As a woman new to gaming, I’m happy that this adapter plugs into the bottom of the Nintendo switch and the plug part into the wall.
For me, this means I can sit on the sofa and play my favourite games rather than waiting for it to keep charging up on the console!
Very much as per item description. Having tried to cheapskate a charger work with my docking station from auction websites I ended up buying authentic. I’d reccomend to anyone considering just buy the genuine article first time round, would of saved me alot of wasted time!

Nothing really special to say about this product. It does what is needed of it without problems. That’s the best result anyone could get. It fully charges my switch and that’s all there is to it. A good product just doing the job it’s meant to do.

Bought this for my switch and never had an issue with it. I would recommend just buying the original since it’s not worth the risks.
After spending 14 on Amazon buying cheap Nintendo chargers that lasted days.
I Saved myself the trouble and my kids the pain by spending more and getting the original chargers with the Nintendo branding on it. They arrived three days later and have been working ok.
You can tell the difference just by looking at the Nintendo charger and the cheap stuff.
Please buy the Nintendo original Chargers so your console lasts longer.
My only comment would be that once it gets to 100%, you hear a “ping” sound. It feels like it’s getting to full charge then stopping and restarting. Might go off every 10 minutes which doesn’t happen with the official Apple chargers. It just means I won’t leave it on overnight or if i’m out.
Obviously also works with the Nintendo Switch so if you want a spare as you keep one plugged into the docking station, you can’t go wrong.
This dock is easy to setup and use and works without issue using an original Nintendo AC adaptor. Picture on TV is clear and no glitches.

I needed another charger as I hated the idea of constantly unplugging the main charger from the dock. So this spare charger is on the go with me in the switch case and the main one is in the dock
When it comes to power supply cables for Nintendo Switch, paying that little bit extra for piece of mind is always best. Too many stories of 3rd party mishaps. This is worth the money 100%.

Exactly as expected, genuine Switch AC adapter. Knew the cable was going to be on the short side, however better genuine than a cheap one that risks damage to your switch.

It’s good, you know that this will work with your switch and the chances of it being faulty are very low because Nintendo typically has far better quality control than 3rd party companies even if it is a little bit pricey.
It charges and doesn’t go on fire, can’t ask much more from it.

It’s an over priced charger but it’s an official Nintendo product so you know it’s quality.
It’s a charger for my switch and I needed 2nd one for out and about as I was getting fed up of pulling my TV out to get to the one plugged into the docking station. It’s a bit pricey but if you don’t want to take the risk of bricking your switch with 3rd party chargers then this is the only choice. Oh and it also charges my phone!
Tested charging and in the dock, It works just like the original one that’s came with the Nintendo switch (it is the original that came with the switch)

Bought as a second adapter for when our daughter visits. New and boxed OEM for only a little more than a ‘previously loved’ one … elsewhere.
I was advised from many youtubers to always buy official nintendo products and this is the best charger they do. Very useful when out and about and a really long cable as well which is good. Charges quickly and efficiently and as its Nintendo own brand fits perfect with the connector.
Only slight issue is the price as its not cheap but you pay for quality and for the official product so can’t expect less. If you use your switch out and about, airports, trains, hotels etc than 100 per cent get this charger!
Although I’m sure you can get third party AC adapters (at a cheaper price), I went for the official one as I like the reassurance that it’s safe and will charge the Switch correctly.
What more to say, the product is reliable as it is by Nintendo themselves.
That being said, if you don’t want to use it to power a docked Switch, you don’t actually need to fork out for this. Any USB-C cable with a 56 ohm resistor (a fairly standard component in a good quality cable) will safely charge the Switch in handheld mode, and you can save some money.

I wanted another wire for my switch to plug into the dock, which is exactly what this is and a great price to boot for a Nintendo product! The same as the one my switch came with.

I bought some cheap compatible one which charged the Switch but would not work when trying to connect it to the TV. This cable works perfectly.

It’s a genuine Nintendo AC adapter. I bought it so I could have an extra one so I could always leave one plugged into the dock.
It works, and it provides power to my Switch.
Not the cheapest, but hopefully you get what you pay for.

Does the job but my have been a wasted purchase as bought to charge handheld screen and I think original charger could have been used.
This offical Switch plug is handy to have for when you want to move the dock around the house.
Should be cheaper, but well worth using an official charger rather than some cheap 3rd party model that may not provide the right output to the console.
Good product does what it should not like some of the cheaper non genuine leads
It does the job, very useful when wanting to charge the Switch when away from home. My only complaint is that the price is rather high.
It’s an official nintendo product, it works and doesn’t brick your system! Worth the extra few quid rather than the cheaper uncertainty of a third party alternative!
I have had cheap chargers explode on me in the past, so I only ever purchase original, authentic chargers regardless of the price
Now I have two chargers, I can charge the Switch and use this one to charge the power bank.
I bought my Switch in Europe and needed a UK adapter when I moved back. Works well and decent quality, haven’t had any issues using it for my dock and the actual switch.
