My husband kept borrowing my original plug and I got fed up. Works as well as the original. Only a mark off as it’s a bit pricey for a plug.
Genuine Nintendo charge
More expensive than the non Nintendo chargers but I’m happy with this one.
As a woman new to gaming, I’m happy that this adapter plugs into the bottom of the Nintendo switch and the plug part into the wall.
For me, this means I can sit on the sofa and play my favourite games rather than waiting for it to keep charging up on the console!

Very much as per item description. Having tried to cheapskate a charger work with my docking station from auction websites I ended up buying authentic. I’d reccomend to anyone considering just buy the genuine article first time round, would of saved me alot of wasted time!

Bought in addition so the teen could take it with them when away from home. The original ones, we have two, are plugged into the docking stations. Happy teen.

Nothing really special to say about this product. It does what is needed of it without problems. That’s the best result anyone could get. It fully charges my switch and that’s all there is to it. A good product just doing the job it’s meant to do.

I Saved myself the trouble and my kids the pain by spending more and getting the original chargers with the Nintendo branding on it. They arrived three days later and have been working ok.
You can tell the difference just by looking at the Nintendo charger and the cheap stuff.
Please buy the Nintendo original Chargers so your console lasts longer.

I actually bought this for my Macbook Pro not the Switch. I was borrowing my son’s Switch charger when I was working from home as the 2017 onwards Pros use USB C now. So much cheaper than the Apple version.
My only comment would be that once it gets to 100%, you hear a “ping” sound. It feels like it’s getting to full charge then stopping and restarting. Might go off every 10 minutes which doesn’t happen with the official Apple chargers. It just means I won’t leave it on overnight or if i’m out.
Obviously also works with the Nintendo Switch so if you want a spare as you keep one plugged into the docking station, you can’t go wrong.

This dock is easy to setup and use and works without issue using an original Nintendo AC adaptor. Picture on TV is clear and no glitches.

Exactly as expected, genuine Switch AC adapter. Knew the cable was going to be on the short side, however better genuine than a cheap one that risks damage to your switch.

It’s good, you know that this will work with your switch and the chances of it being faulty are very low because Nintendo typically has far better quality control than 3rd party companies even if it is a little bit pricey.

It’s an over priced charger but it’s an official Nintendo product so you know it’s quality.

It’s a charger for my switch and I needed 2nd one for out and about as I was getting fed up of pulling my TV out to get to the one plugged into the docking station. It’s a bit pricey but if you don’t want to take the risk of bricking your switch with 3rd party chargers then this is the only choice. Oh and it also charges my phone!

So useful when out and about from home!
I was advised from many youtubers to always buy official nintendo products and this is the best charger they do. Very useful when out and about and a really long cable as well which is good. Charges quickly and efficiently and as its Nintendo own brand fits perfect with the connector.
Only slight issue is the price as its not cheap but you pay for quality and for the official product so can’t expect less. If you use your switch out and about, airports, trains, hotels etc than 100 per cent get this charger!

You can’t beat the real thing!
Although I’m sure you can get third party AC adapters (at a cheaper price), I went for the official one as I like the reassurance that it’s safe and will charge the Switch correctly.

What more to say, the product is reliable as it is by Nintendo themselves.
It’s expensive, the cable is too short, it’s of unremarkable quality – not poor quality, just nothing special – and unfortunately necessary if you want to be 100% certain of safe use with a Switch dock. Reports of hardware failures as a result of using unofficial Nintendo docks and/or unofficial Nintendo USB-C cables to power said docks are still happening at a steady pace.
That being said, if you don’t want to use it to power a docked Switch, you don’t actually need to fork out for this. Any USB-C cable with a 56 ohm resistor (a fairly standard component in a good quality cable) will safely charge the Switch in handheld mode, and you can save some money.

Also, seems to be the only option if you want to use the TV mode, either through the official dock or the various third party dock options. Putting this official charger with a third party HDMI dock was that trick that brought it to life.

I bought my Switch in Europe and needed a UK adapter when I moved back. Works well and decent quality, haven’t had any issues using it for my dock and the actual switch.

Now I can reach into my draw and get this spare charger. Makes my life so much easier and no more fluffing around
