where do I start with the switch lite, I could say it’s the best handheld console I have owned an I’ve owned alot dating back to Gameboy colour, would I be lying in that statement yes an no obviously the games make a console an Nintendo has them I would go as far as to say if u buy a switch do your self a favour buy Zelda breath of the wild (amazing game one of the best on the console by far). it’s everything u want from a handheld it has a good display although u may struggle in direct sunlight, it’s lite in the hand aswell as portable the speakers are good it has usb type c so I only have to carry my phone charger. It has great games, but there’s where the goodness ends if u buy this console thinking hey Xbox an playstation games are big compared to the internal memory Nintendo switch lite us the same make sure you buy a micro SD cause if u install two free games for example fortnite and rocket league or apex legends with the YouTube app expect to be out of memory already so make sure you have at least a 64gb micro SD card so you can have at least 5or 6 games on there depending on there size. I bet your thinking well downloading on Xbox an playstation take forever maybe the switch lite is better sadly not downloading games takes just Aslong especially if the game size is similar. After using this device for almost a month an bit now I would say it’s a near perfect handheld console let down by small flaws such as average battery life u will prob get about 3 maybe 4 hours on a charge so nothing to shout about an charging is fairly quick it’s built well the only missing feature is built in Bluetooth for wireless headphones but thats not really a minus I would give this device a solid 4/5 stars. I love this device an I feel most people will who want a personal portable console.

The product was as described and pictured. I have only used it for 2 days so far but it has worked well. Needs charging quite regularly is the only thing I would say but that could be because I am playing an Assassin’s Creed game

Bought at the start of the Corona Virus lockdown and I think it’s safe to say, it has been a literal life saver.
(I just won’t say whose…!)

The must have personal console of 2020! The lite version of the switch is a great alternative to the full fat home console. Has all the features and plays all the games as the normal Nintendo switch with the same capabilities. The only downsides of the Lite is a slightly flimsy feel to the directional sticks and metallic sound when they are moved. Be aware that I am unable to charge the console when using an extension lead – I have to plug mine directly into the wall socket otherwise it will not charge. But this may be an independent situation. Overall 4 stars!

What can I say? It’s a Nintendo switch! I think most people have heard of them .. anyway, my son has the larger version so I didn’t know what to expect with this. I purchased this has we couldn’t get hold of anything else anywhere for love nor money.

The lockdown had just started and my daughter had been sent home from her halls at uni and she was starting to go out of her mind with anxiety and stress. I got this one just hoping it would give her something to do and she loves it. She’s downloaded loads of stuff on it and it’s really helped her with her anxiety and stress levels. She’s found loads of calming and relaxing stuff to do on it and it worked like a charm. There are obviously hundreds of games you can buy or download for this and the kids and even the adults would love this. I’ve had a go at playing a couple of games on it and even as a middle aged woman I give it the thumbs up! hahaha

This is a very good handheld gaming console.
Feels and looks very sturdy.

Great fun. On dark souls battery lasts around 3.5 to 4 hours. For me it’s enough.

Love the product, still waiting for animal crossing to absorb my life. I’ve had it for about 2 months now and I have had no joycon drift issues.

I’ve also used both the regular switch and this one. The weight difference is astounding, the regular switch is unruly and awkward to hold, the lite is perfect for comfortable gaming at home or on the go.

Only problems I had were when I got it I had a dead pixel within 8 hours of use. Amazon sent me a new one after Nintendo support were useless and rude. (Got complained at by an Australian man from Nintendo support)

My son enjoys playing with the lite he would prefer if the joy cons were detachable like the larger switch. Apart from that he loves it!

Bought for my 9 year old for Christmas as an alternative to the more expensive Switch. His face lit up on Christmas Day when he opened it! Does everything he needs it too, graphics look good, and the sound also seems fine. Being able to buy it and spread the cost over a few months was also a saviour in the run up to Christmas.

The build quality is great, the matte finish doesn’t attract finger prints at all and I personally haven’t experienced the dreaded joystick drift. If you want a switch but know you’ll only use it in handheld mode, consider getting one of these. At nearly 100 cheaper than a normal switch you cant go wrong.

I bought it as I have a Wii but rarely use it as it is a faff to connect to the TV etc… This is brill! I have not had a handheld since the 1st gen GameBoy but it is great! I like the size of the screen and it is easy to use as it is touchscreen! The controls are all placed in a great position so that it is easy to play on too… I like the fact it has a battery too rather than needing AA or AAA batteries! I use mine for about 30 mins a day and am charging it once a week but I only put it to sleep rather than turning off during sessions! Well done Nintendo for getting me back into console gaming!

I have this and the regular switch.
Pros of lite: simply much more of a true portable console to take anywhere
Cons: fingers can struggle after a long session, smaller screen is a bit more of a strain on eyesight, no built in support for wireless headphones

Incredible build quality – buttons feel sturdy and responsive with no rattle from joysticks
Impressive battery life – several hours of gameplay at even the highest brightness settings
Plenty of accessories and protectors to your heart’s content
Great games selection so you’re never stuck for long.

I’d recommend picking up a carrying case and a portable battery to improve quality of life – there are several cases on Amazon with slots for game cartridges as well as ample room for my 30,000mAh battery pack.

if the original switch was too much for you I can’t recommend this console enough – it’s utterly fantastic.

Works well, no problems. I have never owned a regular Switch so I have no comparisons, and I love this device. It feels very similar to the PSP/PS Vita but bigger. The graphics are great and it has a long battery life. I have played it every day since it arrived (day of launch, 20th September 2019) and it has had no faults. The cheaper price for not having the Switch function is worth it if, like me, you don’t have a television to use that function anyway. The case is smooth and has a nice soft grainy grip feel to it, and the grey allows the games colours to stand out greatly.
