WOW BRILLIANT
It actually works wow so impressed. I get such cracked hands in winter and with being a mum washing up etc all the time doesn’t help. I’ve tried everything out there nothing worked . But this does. It absorbs instantly and literally overnight I could see a massive difference. No perfume smell so non irritating. I use it during the day as it forms a barrier and coats my hands whilst in water. Excellent very pleased.

Bought as a gift for my Step Dad for Christmas who works in a factory. His hands are always dry and cracking due to the nature of his job. However this product has really helped his hands get a lot better, not fully as he hasn’t been consistent in applying the cream. Although if he was consistent you could tell the difference would be amazing. Great cream, really helped. Will be buying again.

A great job
My hands have been really rough and dry recently due to doing lots of sanding and also working on my car. I decided to try this product as it has good reviews, although I wasn’t expecting much. To my surprise it works really well, my hands healed very quickly and it doesnt feel sticky and soaks in quite quick compared to other moisturisers and creams that I have used previously. I would definitely reccomend.

I suffer with horribly dry skin on hands and it gets worse when the season changes.
I’ve found this to be long lasting on my hands making them feel comfortable for longer.
I’m not a fan of the scent but that’s just a personal opinion which has no bearing on how the product works.
Fantastic Highly Effective Produc
I have suffered from hand Eczema for ten years – it is chronic in that it does not go away but gets worse or improves marginally. To manage the extreme dryness and cracking I sleep with my hands in nitrile gloves filled with Cetraben. If I don’t do this m, my hands crack and bleed within a day – v painful.
I have been to three doctors – all of whom prescribe potent steroids, cetraben, etc.
I have tried all known emollients and whilst some of them make a bit of difference none have worked particularly well.
Then I found O’Keeffe’s. This is the first topical cream / preparation that actually works – my skin is way less irritated and is supple and feels so much better.
If you have tried everything and have given up – please try O’Keeffes.

If like anything, I’d compare it to almost propolis. Whatever you call it, it’s white, firm to touch and has no appreciable odour.
Economical in use, I apply it mostly around my nails because working with textiles dries the cuticles. You only need a little, so although the pot doesn’t look very big, it lasts ages. The product absorbs quickly without any obvious residue. My hands feel just ordinary, not coated with cream nor strangely silky. I don’t feel anything is going to come off onto the fabric with which I’m working.

I ripped my fingernail right down onto the nail plate some months ago and it refused to heal; using this hand cream twice daily has encouraged the nail to grow almost together again and has stopped the roughness of the fingertip. Nice hand cream.
Nice and rich cream and soaks in quickly. Perfect for chapped or dry hands. The only thing I would of preferred is a better scent as it doesn’t seem to smell of anything initially and then once it had been open a while it smelt a bit strange.
Really Works!
Bought for my partner who is a builder. His hands were very rough and chapped. The cream gave him instant relief and within 7 days of use the sore chapped skin was gone.

Great product expensive but worth i
This was quite expensive for a hand cream. It was worth every penny. I keep getting deep cracks on the tops of a few fingers mostly my thumbs, they look like the kind of cracks you’d see on a workman or fisherman’s fingers but I don’t put my hands through that kind of wear. Nothing worked my thumbs especially were painful. I saw this and it worked and keeps working. I plan to always have some in my make up drawers.
This product really works
I really dont look after my hands and I suffer from really dry skin and my thumbs split and bleed ,only a small amount of working hands does the job to repair the damage. I also use it on my knees from carpet friction playing with the grandchildren! works really well to hydrate and soften skin callouses.
The best hand cream on the market.
I’m in the building trade and even though I wear glove as often as possible when working my hands need protection and aftercare. This product is the best that I’ve found on the market. It’s thick and not watery like Many other hand creams. O’Keeffe also do a foot cream which is exactly the same stuff, I use it to stop hard skin on my feet from cracking.
Use it as a barrier cream before working and as an aftercare cream to replenish the skin after working and washing.
Slightly more greasy than other brands.
I’ve tried many creams over the years and this is something I’ve seen but never bought as it’s very expensive. I thought I’d give it ago as it was slightly cheaper than in the shops. I found that you need to use a very small amount, about two pea sized amounts as if you over use it makes your hands very greasy and I’ve had to end up wiping it all off and starting again, to be honest I can’t see much different in the use over E45 or Aveeno. It doesn’t work for me but maybe for you.
Excellent handcream
I haven’t got particularly dry skin, nor have I got workman’s hands but I do use hand cream constantly and I like this one because a little goes a long way and it actually does work, as opposed to just putting a greasy layer on your skin. Absorbs quickly and has no smell, which for me is a pity because I do love nice smelling cream.
I honestly cannot believe what a miracle cream this is! I suffer from very sore, chapped hands every winter, even when wearing gloves daily. Whilst “normal” hand creams are sufficient, a lack in their product potency/concentration means they simply soothe rather than heal the skin. This cream is glycerin-based and is wonderful: all you need is a tiny application (I mean tiny, fingernail-sized amount otherwise it won’t absorb properly) and rub it in to problem area (i.e. knuckles or sides of finger). I use mine throughout the day at work and at night time for extra healing. It’s small enough to pop in a bag or pocket. I couldn’t be without it now. Well worth investing in!

Super cream
Wow! I don’t usually write reviews but I just can’t believe the difference this cream has made in literally 2 uses!! My hands are so chapped and dry they are so painful at the end of the day and look awful
I have tried soooo many creams, all made no difference and my hands have only got worse
After looking at many reviews online I decided to give this a try… why did I not try it sooner!! Wish I’d taken before and after pictures as my hands look completely different! They feel so soft, the cracks are dramatically reduced( and that’s in the space of an hour) my hands aren’t painful and red… this really is AMAZING stuff!!
This is the best hand cream I have ever owned and I have tried a few! My hands get super dry when it’s cold, to the point they crack and bleed. My hands are pretty much back to normal after 2 days of usage (attached an image for reference). I would seriously recommend this hand cream
More than pleased with O’Keefe’s
The skin on my fingers is prone to drying, cracking and splitting. Tried all the usual lotions and creams in the chemists (some of which made it worse). Pure olive oil helped the most but is so messy. Found O’Keefe’s online and was initially worried by the amount of chemicals in it, but the good reviews persuaded me to get Working Hands cream and Skin Repair Pump. The pump I put beside the sink where I wash my hands most of the time. The cream I have beside my bed so I can use it morning and night. I would say that after 24 hours of frequent use (every 2 hours or so), my fingers were 80% better! After 48 hours they were 95% better. One week later I am typing this without any plasters on my fingers and they look better than they have done for years. Also I have to mention the excellent container that the WH cream comes in. So easy to open and close.
Brilliant stuff
My husband was always coming home from work with really dry hands that had little deep cuts everywhere. He would never use any of my hand creams as he said they were useless. I read the review’s on this and decided to get him some, Im glad I did as he has used it every night after his shower and the improvement has clearly been seen …. so much so that I dont even have to encourage him to use it as he can see for himself that it works.
The only thing that works for me
After receiving first degree burns to the whole of both hands many years back I have suffered with skin which cracks and splits very easily even in the summer but worse in winter. I have tried a LOT of different products for this with mixed success and the one I had most success with I was applying around 15-20 times a day (my hands are that bad). This product has absolutely made a huge difference, it is by far the best product I have used and I now only have to apply it around 4 times a day! That is incredibly good!
I saw the adverts a few times and thought it wouldn’t work for hands like mine but I was very wrong.
It feels a little dry going on which is an odd sensation but one which is a welcome change from greasy products. It also soaks in well and very quickly, again a pro in my book.
After application my hands feel like they are protected rather than ‘quenched’ which is good and is working well but I do on occasion rub a few drops of water into my hands afterwards and that works great for both protecting and quenching my skin.
The product does still appear to offer protection after washing my hands, even with soap, although a lot is obviously washed off just not all of it.
If you have bad hands and are trying to decide then please don’t hestitate for as long as I did, this stuff is brilliant.

This tub will last you ages if you only suffer with mildly dry skin, however if you work in an environment where your hands are constantly dry and cracked you can apply as often as you need to keep them moisturised.

Decided to try this product after suffering with my “winter hands” as I do every year. I have tried many products over the years but none has worked as well as this. This cream has definitely made a difference. Only a small amount is required but it is necessary to keep using it several times a day.
I notice that some people complain about a residue but I can only repeat that a small amount is required, too much is a waste, and unnecessary. So this is a product that I shall continue to use and recommend it to others.
Absolutely fantastic
Had chapped, sore and open split skin for weeks and found all other alternatives to be too oily, found this recommended to me from Google and saw all the positive reviews so thought why not? Upon using it for multiple times a day for almost a week, definitely noticed a difference. The cream dries to form a chalk-like, almost like rubber substance which is great for repelling water and other substances that would usually take away moisture from your skin. If you’re looking for a protective cream and tend to wash your hands a lot, you could do much worse than this product.
Bought this to try on my horrifically cracked and sore hands, as I wasn’t getting any relief and my hands remained sore. I work with children, and have to wash my hands regularly, which doesn’t help the dry skin.
I opened this as soon as it arrived, and found it to be a texture I wasn’t expecting – was expecting a ‘cream’ texture. Nonetheless, I applied it to my hands and instantly felt relief. I’ve been using it a little over a week now, and have seen a massive difference in the appearance and feeling of the skin on my hands.
I definitely recommend this. It’s unscented, easy to apply, absorbs quickly and easily and a little goes a very long way!
I love how my hands feel from using this regularly and that it has neutral fragrance. (Other hand creams strongly perfumed give me headaches) . I now routinely apply before bedtime and as and when to treat my hands to massage. My dad is plasterer dealing with all sorts of chemicals which really cause extreme dryness. He has converted to O’Keefes and now has a tub in each room. Even better if it didn’t have so much plastic and cardboard packaging as the tub in itself is sufficient.
It actually works!
Amazing product, I bought this expecting it to just be another mediocre hand cream. My Grandad has suffered with contact dermatitis his whole adult life, and has constant cuts and cracks on knuckles and fingers especially during the winter months. Within a few days of using this cream his hands were almost completely healed.
He raves about it to everyone and uses it as a preventative method now.
I have also used other creams in the range to the same positive effect. I don’t know how but this cream ACTUALLY works. Where has it been all this time??
Superb Product That Feeds Dry Skin On Rough Hands
This cream was purchased for my partners hands . They felt really dry and calloused . He had worked in the building industry all of his life and this had taken its toll on the skin of his hands . I had spent had fortune over the years trying to deal with his very rough hands that actually split at times and nothing worked . This worked from first application . Excellent for peeling and very dry skin on hands.
What a fab product! I have tried many different creams cheap and expensive, including steroid based prescribed by the doc.
But nothing worked. My hands have become very dry, with peeling skin and at time deep cuts would appear on my finger, making it very hard to wash hands or do the washing up.
Have used this 3-4 times a day and before going to bed and after a week my hands are so much better. No peeling skin or soreness. Highly recommended! And thank you for all the positive reviews, reason why I chose to try this. Will defitnely keep this as repeat purchase, as nothing else has worked!
Best hand cream Iv used.
Great product due to my job and hobbies my hands are really dry and sore, im a engineer by trade and like to fish and both of which really dry my hands out. I have tried loads of creams and none of them have done the job but this is simply ace. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth it. It’s none greasy texture and has a whipped texture makes it easy to apply. I will definitely be buying again.

I have now been using this for 2 years and its great stuff that actually works, my son’s dermatologist is very impressed also and is now highly recommending it yo her patients it is that good and worth every penny . Well worth every penny my sons condition on his hands has now cleared up completely he uses it at night or when he washes his cars. JUST BUY IT.
This product works a treat. There is barely a scent, it does however leave a slight waxy residue which is better than numerous handcreams out there that leave a greasy glistening residue. I wash my hands up to 10 times a day,before using this the skin on my knuckles turned white after washing and split as a result. After using this over a few days I’ve noticed my hands are more supple so I purchased the foot cream and lip balm from them as well.see pics
i bought this to try and soothe severe dermatitis on my hands that iv’e been having a lot of trouble with for many years, not even the doctors could cure it. this stuff didn’t just soothe it, it healed it! my hands look completely normal now and no more cracking or bleeding! this stuff really works and it worked fast as well irritation stopped almost moments after applying it. really really impressed with this stuff.
Seems to do the job
In my work I have to wash my hands numerous times in a day, so they become dry and sore. Though it’s early days this product seems to be helping, without being greasy like so many others. You don’t need to use much and seems to provide an element of protective barrier. The best I’ve found thus far.

Bought this cream after seeing tv advertisment. Delivered fast. Used a tiny ammount straight away. Saw a difference the next day. After around two weeks after using a tiny bit daily he could stop using as it hardered and healed his hands making them stonger. He used once in a few weeks when they get sore again.

Lovely cream for hands
What a good cream for softening hands. I am outdoor a lot and usually through winter I have splits around the nails, and generally rough hands. This cream has solved all that. My hands feel soft all the time now. Also because the cream is in a pot you take what you need each time and it goes a long way without any wastage. Thank you.
This handcream is magical!
I’ve had dry hands for such a long time due to swimming and working in healthcare. This is the first product which has made a change to my hands. I’m trying to put it on 2x a day at present and even after using it for a couple of days my hands have hugely improved.
The only thing which isn’t great is the smell however it’s very faint and I would still give it 10/10.
I’ve even been recommending this to everyone!!!

saw this at a local trade supplier but it was more expensive so ordered from the trustworthy amazon and saved a few quid… never used this before but always suffer with dry cracked fingers which when doing major DIY jobs around the house so decided to give it a go. As they say on the tub, a little goes a long way.. it’s not too greasy and soon soaks in… very effective rehydration – very impressed.
Amazing remedy for the driest of hands
Thai product is fantastic my partner has terrible dry cracked hands as a lorry driver out in all weather. This seems to be the only cream so far we use ever night when he gets home that has donr wonders to help his hands . It’s does feel a tad greasy so not ideal to use in the day with his job as he needs to grip a steering wheel but a slather every night before bed has turned the splits and cracks in his hands back around in only a couple of days

Absolutely amazing! My husband is an engineer and works out in all weather. His hands are extremely dry and flaky and he has excema. We have tried lots of creams for him, spending alot of money and nothing has worked.
Instantly he noticed a difference. Even with his super sensitive skin, he had no reactions or allergy’s. Within a week his hands were soft and almost baby like. A huge difference, not greasy either.

First hand cream I've tried that actually works
This is the first product I have found that actually works. A combination of housework, cleaning, washing-up, working on the car and washing with hard water plays havoc with my hands and I’ve tried many things to prevent them drying out and cracking. Hydrocortisone creams have worked to some extent such as Dermovate but there are of course drawbacks in using such potent corticosteroid creams. Hand creams I’ve used are often too oily and take too long to absorb.
But this actually works. After just a few days use all the cracks at the ends of my fingers had gone. There is no greasy or oily feeling and the cream absorbs very quickly, meaning one can quickly get on with tapping away on your laptop soon after application without leaving cream all over the keys. I’d certainly buy again.

This is MAGIC. I had been using E45 for eczema on my hands, but noticed little bumps on my fingers returning, and saw an article in paper recommending this in Daily Mail, and then found all the good reviews on Amazon. I ordered this in the morning, it arrived in the evening and the bumps on my fingers were markedly reduced after first application and gone in a few days. Very impressed with this product. You only need a tiny amount and it works like magic. I will continue to apply at night before going to sleep to keep dryness at bay.

I remember it was December, it had gotten colder, I was working in an environment where it didn’t take long for my hands and lips to become rather soar. I tried many things, but I didn’t have a good enough hand cream, and so I purchased this and sure it was a bit more expensive, but it sure was worth it. You only have to use so much, apply it when / before your hands get soar, and it should work well for you, and help you out. Be sure to pack it in your bag, whether your a busy one with your hands or not, this should do the trick and keep your hands looking and feeling healthy and well!
Absolutely Brilliant !!!
I originally ordered this for my husband, being a postie his hands get chapped. Its worked very well and a lot of posties in his office use it. However I have found another use for it and it works brilliantly. I have a rescue Greyhound, and she gets corns on her paws, it has been costing me a fortune in vet bills having them removed. I now rub this hand cream onto her pads daily, it softens her corns and my hubby is able to pick them out. So I am doubly happy, hubby doesn’t suffer from chapped hands, and more importantly my beautiful Greyhound doesn’t have such painful paws. WINNER! This is the 3rd tub of this I have ordered and I am delighted with it.

I am a rock climber, my hands are dry all the time due to the excessive use of chalk, my fingers are “shiny” and have little grip on the finger tips, lately ive dropped more items than id like to admit.
I have always struggled to find hand creams that moisturise my hands during the day without feeling wet or greasy. I started using this and the effects were almost instant. The cream feels more like a hard mouse in the tub and feels lighter than expected, however when applied and “dried” it then instantly grants a feeling of moisture and grip that I im yet to find in any other hand cream. grip-wise my hands feel like they were before i started rock climbing, i wont be buying any other hand cream again.
Tried almost everything for my boyfriends extremely dry, cracked, peeling and sometimes bleeding hands, including expensive, organic and otherwise reputable products, but without improvement. He does a lot of heavy lifting and working with chemicals which takes its toll on his hands and doesn’t give them time to recover. But only after a day’s use of this cream there was a real noticeable result – his hands looked less painful and felt smoother. Now, after a few weeks’ usage his hands are healing amazingly well – still calloused but the cracks are healing, and they are no longer dry and red. I can’t recommend this more – it’s the first time I’ve ever come across a miracle product! If only all creams did what they said on the tin, like this one….
I do like this product. Items like this are very subjective and a personal preference but I like the fact that is has no odour, is non greasy and is absorbed very quickly.
As mentioned this isn’t like regular hand creams, it is more of a wax texture when in the pot but is very easy to apply and doesn’t leave a shiny or greasy finish. If anything the hands feel more matt, which actually is nice, especially when you need to continue to work.
As for effectiveness, I would say this is on par with some of the better hand creams. You will need to reapply after hand washing but that is to be expected. It does give immediate relief too.
This is my third pot so that shows how much I like it. It lasts a long time too with moderate use.
Amazing. This has SAVED my hands. I’d willingly do before and after pictures (if only I’d taken before pics). My hands were so cracked and painful. This is the best cream I have ever used. Not greasy, quickly absorbed, smells nice – brilliant stuff. I’ve been putting it on at night before bed and well, I just can’t say how much it’s improved my skin. 100% recommend this cream.
The best hand cream I have ever come across. I have ordered many different brands to try and help my cracking hands and this is the first product I had purchased which actually does the job it is supposed to. For the first time in memory my hands are no longer sore and feel smooth to the touch.
I’m a decorator and find this really helpful. Normally I have pretty tough “asbestos” hands, but with winter, and stripping some banisters they got dryer than normal… couple of uses of this and sorted. I like it so much I bought 2, one for my van and one for my lounge so I put it on whenever I remember to.
O’Keeffe’s working hands cream has really really helped my hands through using prescription creams at high strength steroid creams nothing would move my dermatitis / eczema. I’m not saying this is going to be a permanent fix for this but within one week here is a few photos from day one to day seven.
I have not needed to out it on all day hands seem to be keeping somewhat waxy but not greasy but dry to touch things if that makes sense.
Used to put on the creams in past tense and within 5 mins my hands would be breaking out again as the cream dried in.
As I write this order I know what I am going to do right after it, I am getting another tub right away!
A little goes along way.
This product is simply amazing. A little on the expensive side for hand cream, however, works amazingly well. Working with boxes and shifting heavy material my hands are always cracked and have little hacks and cuts over fingers and knuckles. Apply this before bed or any time during the day and after a few uses it heals magnificently well.
After a few days of use my hands were very soft and well moisturised. A little goes a long way. At first I would apply very generously, however I then realised that you only need a little dab on each hand. Feeling is a little greasy on hands however after a few uses you become accustomed to it. I would recommend using gloves when using as you will get the most affect as it will not rub off onto anything else.
My dad has been a builder for about 35 years and work has taken its toll on his hands. He has hard skin with cracks. He started using this cream and it has really helped him. He uses it all the time now as it makes his hands feel so much better.
I’m really skeptical for creams so I’m extremely excited about O’Kefee’s as I can see short-term results that are clearly objective.
I use the cream since months ago because of climbing and since the skin in my hands was becoming disgusting.
There are special creams for climbers: more expensive and probably better but this one seems to work more than great for me.
My case: I climb 3-4 times per week indoor and use as little amount as I can (too much doesn’t help) once before bed only those days, not even everyday (normally)
The cream is not as greasy as others but not as dry that you can’t tell (it’s not magical!) so I use it only once a day before bed.

This cream really seems to be working. An added benefit is that it is not greasy and it works well as a barrier cream as well. For intensive treatment I put loads on my hand, put on a pair of plastic gloves (that I use when cleaning) and watched telly for a couple of hours. The cream really absorbed well and is helping reduce the roughness and snagging of my skin on socks!!! I am also using it on my feet!!
My husband is a Joiner to trade and his hands were as rough and tough as old boots. Using this hand cream after one day gave him the flexibility back to his hands and healed the cuts at the same time. I would definitely recommend this hand cream to anyone who has a job that makes their hands rough and sore.

I have baby twins and since they were born I have been washing my hands around 30 times a day.
My hands were raw. I had an ugly red rash that covered the back of my hands and painful cracked fingertips. Lots of people commented on how sore they looked. I thought I had tried everything. The only thing that worked was a strong, prescription only steroid cream, which cannot be used long term.
A friend recommended this and I noticed a difference straight away. No more rash, no more cracked finger tips. I’ve being using it for about 3 months now.
I find it works best when I put is on after every hand wash, which means I get through a lot, but it’s worth it!
Worked where nothing else did for cracked sore hands
I bought this for a friend who works outside in the garden, fishing, golfing and with machines the whole time and won’t wear gloves. The result is horribly cracked and painful hands with ingrained dirt that he just can’t get rid of. He’s tried everything and all sorts of gardeners hand creams without much impact. This stuff had him on the phone the following morning saying it had already made a difference and a week later his hands are unrecognisable. I had been concerned that being, in part a barrier cream, it might leave his hands greasy, but apparently not. It wasn’t painful on the cracks and because they’ve pretty well healed, he’s been able to get rid of the dirt. His fingers are still somewhat calloused, but are really softening up. You don’t need much, but he keeps it in the kitchen and just puts a little on whenever he’s passing. It’s been a bit of a revelation.
You need to try this
I have dermatitis. My hands react to almost everything chemical or drying. I’m also a keen gardener which really affects the condition. I’ve tried everything. Most stuff helps, but not entirely. I bought Working Hands in a tube on someone’s recommendation. It is brilliant and has made such a difference, not just to the condition, but to the feel of my hands after application. However, the tube was quite wasteful. This is a fairly dense product and it was really difficult to get the last of the tube content out. Managed it in the end by cutting the tube – so I ordered this tub the next time. Brilliant – perfect for irritated, dried, chapped and allergic conditions and the jar makes it really easy to be economical. Can’t speak highly enough.
Great texture, moisturising and a little really does go a long way. Works well with cotton gloves on overnight.
Amazing results
Normally by this stage in the winter my hands would be cracked and sore especially the tips of my thumbs and fore fingers. No products I have tried over the years has done more than provided partial relief – until now. O’Keeffe’s Working Hands seems to have finally solved the problem. Normally I apply it before going to bed and that is it. Result – no cracking, no soreness and even when my hands become rough the cream will sort the problem out. In addition old crack scars, which I have had for years, have largely healed up – amazing. So pleased have I been with the first jar I have now bought two more which should easily see me into next spring. The product may be expensive but so far it has been worth every penny.
The best hand cream ever!!
This hand cream is so absolutely brilliant it has actually changed my life!! I have psoriasis and for years my hands have gone through stages of being so cracked and painful I literally can’t do anything with them! I have tried pretty much every hand cream there is and nothing worked. I stumbled across this cream and I have only had it for one week but all my cracks have healed and my hands feel unbelievably smooth for the first time in years! They are pain free. I can’t recommend this cream enough. It does sting when you first put it on if you have bad cracks but stick with it, it’s so worth it!!
My skin around the fingers was cracking badly due to constant exposure to cold water as well as sustaining minor cuts around the fingers caused by using DIY tools. On my right-hand thumb, bleeding started occurring! I was wondering what to do because my usual moisturising hand lotion was not working on the affected fingers. So I decided to do a search on Amazon and selected this on the results based on reviews and its own claims. I am happy I bought this because just after 2 days of constant application, it’s already made a massive difference. IO can see soft dead skin falling off revealing healthy skin so it is working! No smell and it is not greasy, so very good cream.
It’s amazing how this cream works, the skin is really softened. I have been using it very regularly, more than 10 times a day.
Relief for cracked hands
This hand cream works better than anything else I’ve tried either on prescription or over the counter. I suffer from quite dry hands and in the winter they’re agony if I’m doing any work outside.
Applying a little bit of cream little and often seemed to work best, it worked like a moisturiser when initially applied but after a couple of days use the cracks in my hands had started to heal, it is easily the best thing I’ve tried for cracked hands no contest.
Leaves my hands soft and supple
This stuff is amazing! It leaves my dry hands and flaky nail beds soft and looking pretty. Made a difference after just a few uses.It’s pretty different to the hand cream you’re probably used to. It’s hard and you have to sort of gouge it out of the tub (if you’ve ever used coconut oil you’ll know what I mean!) however this doesn’t bother me at all. It doesn’t sink in right away, so make sure you don’t have to write anything down for 5 minutes after using this. I like the packaging because it has no chance of leaking like some other hand creams in squeezy tubes, and it’s easier to grip than most jar lids so you don’t have to worry about the lid slipping and sliding as you try to screw it back on. Reasonably priced too – would highly recommend!
Corn treatment for Greyhounds
As daft as it sounds, I bought this for my Greyhound. Bear with me here. Greyhounds are the only breed of dog that get corns on their pads (or something crossed with a Greyhound) Our poor rescue girl had one & from the research I have done, it helps to keep the pads well moisturised & soft. So many people who have Greyhounds with corns recommend this, I have to try it. I managed to get rid of her corn, but I am now applying this every day in the hope she doesn’t get anymore.
In the meantime, I have used this on my hands as I have two “chaps” on my finger tips so I have used it today as soon as it arrived. It’s made the skin so much softer & therefore far less painful than they were yesterday.
So far, so good.
Fantastic for dry, flakey, itchy, splitting skin.
I purchased this for my husband who suffers from contact dermatitis resulting in dry itchy skin on the back of his hands and cracking/splitting to his finger tips.
I would describe it as more like a skin butter/mousse than a cream. It has no detectable perfume, just smells a bit plasticky. It absorbs extremely quickly and definitely provides both moisture and protection. The skin on his hands improved drastically within two days – he applies it 3-4 times a day as he works with chemicals.
I’ve reduced one star purely because of the feeling it leaves on your palms & fingers – it’s almost sticky (but without being sticky!) and takes quite a while to disappear… I know this is part of the ‘protective layer’ but I avoid using it on my fingers as I don’t like the it.
For solving dry, flakey, itchy, spitting skin it is fantastic!

Had cracked fingers and thumb, including a patch of cracked, open skin near my thumb, which nothing seemed to heal. O’Keeffe’s was an attempt to get skin into better shape and frankly I thought the claims made might be a little unrealistic but, after a couple of weeks my hands were in much better condition and the thumb crack, which I had for at least 3 months, gradually disappeared. I used the product at night only and last used it about 3 weeks ago. Probably worth using it on a daily basis if you want a barrier cream and, in my case, fewer wrinkles. A bit pricey but I’ve got about 2/3 of the jar left and for the beneficial effects I have to admit the cost was inor compared with the effect and relief after about 10 days use.

Having experienced years of very dry hands and trying many main brand hand and skin creams it has been a relief to try O’Keefe’s working hand cream. During the winter months my hands are particularly sore with painful splits in the skin on my fingertips. This hand cream melted into my skin without leaving a greasy residue, and has a pleasant fragrance. Within 3 days the fingertip skin splits were almost healed over and gone within the week. I apply the cream morning and night and after having my hands in water during the day ( and as a busy working Mum this can be many times daily ). No recurring splits in my fingertips since using this cream and my skin feels soft and hydrated. I now have this hand cream ready at home and work and would happily recommend it to friends and family.

Have been using this since I received it. Overall it does seem to do what it says. I work in the building industry and my hands were rough, could never go near microfiber it stuck to my mits like Velcro, and they were full of hacks and broken skin. After using it for a week or ten days there was a marked difference my hacks had diminished to the extent that they were almost gone and my hands felt a lot better. Now I’m getting near the end of the tub after using it twice a day since then and my hands are as soft as the wife’s, lol

This hand cream works.
If you suffer from cracked finger tips or the skin around your nail peels back a bit (aka lazy skin) then this cream will definitely help. I sometimes bite the skin around my nails when I’m working or if I’m thinking really hard about something (probably to help me focus) but it leaves the skin around my nails and at the end of my fingers looking a bit messed up.
I looked for a solution and decided to give this a try and after using this whenever I can, such as after every washing of my hands, and before going to bed, my hands have never looked better. It also helps me stop biting the skin as it actually tastes disgustingly medicinal!

This wonderful hand cream was recommended by a pharmacist after everything else I tried had failed to soothe a persistent itchy and cracked skin problem – including a prescription from my GP. From never having experienced any skin troubles in the past I was reduced to wearing plasters to go out because of the skin on my hands breaking and bleeding. This continued for a couple of years with skin getting a little better then much worse again until I started using O’Keeffe’s Working Hands cream. This is the only product that has helped what had become both depressing and embarrassing as well as a quite painful skin condition.
This is amazing, I was sceptical at first, but suffering with very dry, cracked, bleeding hands I was recommended this by a friend who is a glassmaker and jeweller – she uses this and swears by it to soothe burns and cuts on her hands. So I thought, lets give it a try, I’ve tried medically prescribed creams and every high street brand you can think of. Well no more, this stuff is incredible, within one day of getting it and putting it to use – a small amount after every hand wash / immersion in water amd a generous application before bed, my hands are so much better its just unbelievable. I’m not one to rave about a product normally, but this is worth every penny, and is just brilliant. No overpowering smell, no colours, it literally does exactly what it says on the packet. I can’t recommend it enough, I will be buying more of this, without a doubt. If you suffer from dry cracked sore hands, don’t hesitate – just buy it !!!!

This stuff is amazing!
I have long suffered from dry hands that crack and bleed all too easily. I have tried many different creams, including one that was prescribed to me by my doctor, but none of them were effective. These creams would ease the pain on a very short-term basis, but I’d be back to square one every time I washed my hands.
This cream is in an entirely different league. To give an example, I came home from work last night with a number of different painful cracks/splits, a couple of which were bleeding. I applied the cream before I went to bed and woke up this morning with baby soft hands (I even washed my hands in the night). My wife says that she has never known my hands to be this soft.
This cream is exceedingly good value for money. Even if you apply it generously (which you don’t need to do) every day, it will last you at least a few weeks.

Hard to believe but it actually works with the first application. I live in London with very hard water so between the hard water, cold weather and harsh detergents, my hands were cracked, bleeding and extremely dry, they even started to discolour. This has been a wonderful find. I’m happy there were no side effects of using this on my atopic skin. However, the film it leaves on the palms of my hands is less than pleasant but it does dry if you give it an extra 3 mins or so.

This stuff is great, really does a good job of repairing the damage my hands seem to get whenever they do anything more that stroking velvet! I always get very dry, sore hands due to eczema, and if left untreated they start to crack and bleed, and get really sore, as well as looking pretty unsightly! This cream softens the skin a treat and kick starts the healing process, and definitely prevents this happening as much if i use it on a more regular basis.
Overall this is a cracking product, and you don’t have to be a rough and tough builder or lumberjack to justify using this!

My hands had become extremely dry, cracked and wrinkled due to harsh winters and it was almost on the verge of looking bruised. I considered going to a dermatologist because some of the winter creams I tried didn’t work and I thought something was wrong with my skin.

The effect is immediate. The cracked dry skin is gone and my hands feel so smooth and luscious. Now I regularly apply it on my hands before I venture out and after coming home and it makes a tremendous difference.
All in all a great product and a highly recommended one.
The only negative thing I will add is that after I ordered the product for 5.50, Amazon recommended to me the same product for 4.99! What a bummer! And I couldn’t even cancel my order to place the order for the other one.

I have suffered terribly with split dry sore hands and tried every hand cream and even prescription cream, nothing has ever helped…until now, this hand cream is the best stuff I have ever used, I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks, my finger splits healed within a few days, trouble is you can forget to use it when your hands are ok and then they dry out and start to split, a couple of days using this healed them, and it’s so cheap compared to what I’ve bought in the past, use it everyday, it works, it really does, can’t recommend this enough
Working Hands, Working Wonders
I bought O’Keeffe’s Working Hands hand cream for my Husband, who over the years has tried countless brands. His main issue is that his hands get so dry that they split at the joints and crack, leaving open sores that then bleed and take forever to heal. So, not only do I have to find something that helps heal current sores, I also needed something to prevent them coming back. Additionally every other hand cream took ages to absorb in to his skin, making everything he touched greasy; this doesn’t happen with Working Hands. He’s only been using the cream a week and it has made a very noticeable difference already, I no longer feel like I’m holding hands with a five fingered loofah. Love It!
I have extremely dry hands and brittle nails particularly when the weather starts to get cold. I have tried many different hand creams without success, until I tried this. I apply it at night and again in the morning and that seems to be enough to keep my hands smooth and free from hacks. The real test will be during the cold winter months, but I feel optimistic that this cream will do the job. It doesn’t totally absorb when applied to my hands, it leaves a barrier which I don’t mind. I’d highly recommend this to anyone with extremely dry hands. Oh and it doesn’t smell of anything, which is even better.
They get so bad that they often bleed
This has worked where NO other hand cream has ever done in the past. I really suffer with cracked skin around my finger nails, particularly in the winter. They get so bad that they often bleed. I read somewhere that I should make sure that I dry my hands thoroughly every time that I get them wet and I know that was part of the reason for the mess they get in – my hands are always in and out of water – and though that helped a little bit, it wasn’t noticeably better. The before and after pictures on the pack convinced me to give this cream a go and I’m so glad that I did. It’s a nice big pot, though not as attractive as I would like, easily absorbed and a little goes a long way.
Not Just For Working Hands!!
I was suffering from either dryness or eczema, not sure which, on my hands and knuckles. My skin was so dry, began to crack in areas and was white inbetween each finger. I used various hand creams, cheap to pricey, and nothing seemed to work. Most would leave my hands greasy.
That’s when i thought i’d try this due to the high ratings and it has not dissapointed at all. only need to use a little bit and my skin is completely smooth no cracks or whiteness whatsoever. Can’t recommend highly enough.

This stuff is amazing! AAt the age of 38 I’ve had eczema all my life and I now have Renauds Disease (affects circulation in my hands). This winter my hands have been a real state, craked, peeling, v v sore. I came online looking for raw coconut oil as it had been recommended, but I saw this and decided to try both. After a week the coconut oil had made not a scrap of difference to my hands, if anything they were worse as I was purposely avoiding anymore steroid creams while I tried it. After just two days using O’Keefe’s my hands were phenomenally better! Initially I applied several times a day, now it’s only a couple of times as my hands are so much better. No more steroids for me!
Simply Stunning
I have very fragile skin on the tips of my fingers and very dry hands especialy due to steriod cream use over the years for eczema. This is the only cream that makes any significant difference.( I have tried dozens of emollients over the years). I can put it on at night on very cracked fingers and wake up with a considerable difference in the severity of the cracks and also the general condition of my hands. It almost seems magical.
No surprise, therefore, that I can’t recommend highly enough.

he best hand cream I’ve found to date. I don’t look after my hands and they are subjected to dry mud ( on towels when I dry dogs paws), gardening and vegetable peeling on a daily basis. As a result they get very dry and I used to get ingrained dirt in my forefinger. This hand cream sorted that out within a couple of days. I don’t know how it works as the skin on my hands hasn’t gone super soft and I’m in no danger of getting blisters, however my hands look and feel so much better since using the cream and I definitely no longer feel embarrassed about their appearance.

Fingers felt better after a couple of days. Ordered a pot for my colleague, too. We keep it by the sink. I think we need another in the bathroom. I have some at home, too.

This arrived this morning and I have to say I am extremely impressed !!
I have a horse and two dogs and after a winter of mucking out, filling haynets and water buckets and general outdoor animal activities, my hands were beginning to resemble two ageing chamois leathers !
I have tried many hand creams-ranging from the cheap to the very expensive- which feel great for a short while, then the effect wears off and my hands are back to being dry, splitting, sore and itchy.
I have applied this twice today since it arrived , each time after being out messing about with my mare.
You only need a very small amount of this cream, it absorbs super fast (I’m not one for waiting around for hand cream to sink in, I have neither the time, patience or inclination) and the results are remarkable.
My hands feel much more supple and nourished already and actually look 100% better than they did first thing this morning.
If you suffer with dry, ageing, chapped, splitting hands, buy this…..you will not be disappointed !

Fantastic! I can’t tell you how many creams, lotions and potions we have tried. My little girl has had problems with the skin on her fingers for a long time now, the doctor has given us so many prescriptions I had given up, especially as their choice is always barrier & steroid creams. I really wanted to get away from steroid cream as they were making her skin thin, followed by hard skin, cue vicious circle. I purchased this and some cotton gloves just before christmas and her hands are clear of peeling skin, they are soft and best of all they don’t hurt anymore. She applies the cream at night then puts the gloves on, for extra moisture retention. One happy kid and one happy mum. It creates a silky coating on her hands, which helps when she goes to school, lasting moisture and protection. Would definitely recommend O’Keeffes 🙂
A last a hand cream that works
I suffer from very dry hands and when winter comes they usually end up with numerous painful cracks and get chapped easily, I’m a cabinet maker by trade so come into contact with numerous woods/glues and paints.
I have been looking around for some time and have tried many different hand creams that claim to repair chapped and cracked hands, this O’Keeffes cream is the only one I have found that actually works and that is after using it for just around 5 days applying 3/4 times a day, the cream is non greasy and leaves your hands feeling silky smooth and the painful cracks all but gone, I’ve normally got hands like rough sandpaper, so for me this is something very new. This cream has an ingredient that helps skin heal.
The jar is smaller than I thought but as explained on the instructions you don’t need much at all per application.
If you have cracked and chapped hands then this is the cream to buy, believe me it does work and I intend to carry on using it for the foreseeable future.
O’Keefe’s Working Hands cream is an absolutely brilliant product and I cannot sing it’s praises highly enough.
I work outdoors in the Landscaping industry and therefore my hands come in for a lot of stick with chemicals, machinery and other associated materials, plus I absolutely abhor working in gloves.
For the last 18 months or so I have suffered periodically from badly cracked skin on my hands and fingers. No end of lotions and potions from the doctor and chemists have been tried with varying degrees of success, ranging from average to poor. However within 2 or 3 days of using Working Hands, the improvement in my condition was nothing short of amazing. The cream is pleasant to use, has no odour and is also very reasonably priced. (In my case it was cheaper than a prescription from the doctor). I have been using the cream now for a couple of months or so and now only need to apply it, on average, once a week.
As previously stated, I think this product is absolutely brilliant and I would have no hesitation whatsoever recommending it to anyone.
