This is not the kind if system your use to babysit your little one or toddler. They will definately progress better with adult super visor, how intense that supervision is depends on the child. Our is 3, and she loves the fishing count game. Great teaching tool to assist parents beyond the traditional.

My son loves to learn. Since getting it yesterday, he’s spent hours doing the tangrams and letters. We also got the pizza co separately. I suggest doing the junior mode for littles as giving change quickly is stressful. Excited to play the family games on here too

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI homeschool. This is the first time I have used OSMO products, and found them EXTREMELY HELPFUL for my K-2nd grade kids! This set truly helps and has very engaging games/pieces.

My kids all learn differently, and it hindered their public school time. Once I started homeschooling, using OSMO, I have seen GREAT improvement in their math, reading and problem solving skills. This set even includes games for co-op play! Me and my husband both enjoy it!

However, the only draw back is the need for STORAGE on the device you prefer (iPad/android). There are a TON of engaging games for kids up to 3rd grade, even a bit refreshing easy review for older kids/adults.

The parent app is AMAZING and a great way to help keep track of each kids learning and it offers suggestions for increased learning options through play! I love it!

This program is perfect for families with children who learn differently and or need help in learning. This keeps them engaged and problem-solving creatively. Another impressive thing is OSMO teaches CURSIVE writing in the “Masterpiece” app! Love it!

Another draw back is the fact the reflector portion will not always pick up the tiles, or pieces if there isn’t enough light so be sure to have A LOT of light and that your not casting a shadow over the pieces! Other than that WE LOVE OSMO!

Absolute MUST HAVE for ELEMENTARY Kids!

My kids had fun with this Osmo set. I was a little disappointed that it wouldn’t work with my newer iPad Pro, but it did work with my older iPad mini.

My kids thought it was neat to see how the program interacted with them. It wasn’t perfect. You do have to make sure you have everything lined up properly in order for it to work well, but it is a novel way to both teach and play.

My 3 kids—aged 6, 9, and 12–can play with Osmo together for hours. It is a good mix of on-screen fun and in-hand creativity and thinking. My 6-year-old in particular benefits very much from connecting the conceptual things he is learning about in geometry and math to manipulative.

Osmo has a mirror the reflects whatever is on the table in front of the iPad into the selfie camera. This allows the iPad to see what the kids have done, testing their spelling, analyzing their geometric solutions, and letting their drawings come to life on the screen.

I honestly don’t have any complaints about Osmo, except maybe the price. The price, however, is probably justified simply because of how polished the product is. The apps work well. The manipulatives are well-made and come in durable plastic storage containers.

I know it sounds like I’m over-hyping this. I’m not trying to. It’s just really really good.

I’m glad we finally got him OSMO. looking forward to buying some more games and addons for him to also share with his sister… or maybe just get her own since bro sometimes don’t like to share lol

I got this for my 6yo and 3.5yo to use.
My 3.5 yo is able to do some of the games with a little help. He liked the tangrams.
My 6yo is able to do all the games on her own – once shown.
I really like the quality of the materials and packaging. The pieces all store and stack nicely in the provided containers. They stack with other Osmo kits as well.
The kit comes with 7 games. Each game is a separate iPad app. It’s a little cumbersome to get all the apps downloaded but ones it’s done – it’s easy. Word or warning – don’t accidentally download an app you don’t actually have the product for. I accidentally clicked on the Princess app and now I can’t get it out of the Osmo World options. Now it’s all my daughter asks about!!
There are some games that ask for a Osmo board but it’s not required and they recommend a piece of paper instead. I’ve found that it works better (not perfect) to use a large magna doodle board under the Osmo iPad holder. Now the kids can doodle and then just erase instead of wasting a ton of paper with random lines on it.
It’s a little frustrating that there are apps that show up in the Osmo World screen for products you don’t have and apps that aren’t downloaded. They definitely push the sale if other app games – can’t blame them.
I use this on an iPad mini 2. I don’t have any issues – I was worried as this iPad isn’t supported on the latest iOS releases. I don’t have any issues!
    So many great learning apps!

Our kids really like this product. The interactive pieces of this product helps to bring spelling to life. They think it’s really cool how what they build on the mat provided magically shows up on the tablet that they are using. The product comes with a storage box, with a section for each part of the product to go into. Great addition to any learning curriculum.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is incredible for my 5 year old! She uses it often and being out of school this year it has been a Godsend. Keeps her busy for quite a while and is great in teaching her numbers and letters. I’m not sure why Amazon is asking me to refer to the thickness or warmth of this item. I guess it could be warm if you set it in the sun…or hold it for a while. It’s thick plastic…the game pieces are more of a cardboard but thick cardboard. Definitely a gif table item if said gift receiver has an appropriate tablet.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love the Osmo toys. The way they combine iPad with things in the real world is a great bridge for the kids. They went from their initial “assemble shapes” thing a while back and have really expanded in some interesting ways…

But this one is starting to push the age limits, I think. Maybe it’s been branded in our minds as something for littler kids (my 4yo loves his sets!) my 8 and 10yo were less enthusiastic. The 8yo, with some encouragement, seemed to enjoy the Osmo, but the 10yo just sat around moaning that he wanted to play Fortnight… aka “the bane of my existence.”

Overall, this is pretty good, and I think if we had this when my older ones were 6 and 8, this would have been more of a hit.

So the Osmo series is one my husband and kid love a lot. Basically you’re just hooking up a mirror to the top of your iPad so the camera can see what your kid is doing just under the iPad stand.

The way the pieces connect with the device is really awesome and easy for my kid to understand. It makes learning much more fun as well as simply filling time that would otherwise be consumed by watching TV or playing less productive video games.

Overall I really like this and am glad my kid has it.

Great introduction to technology. The Osmo Genius Kit Is a great learning tool that not only combines the timeless elements of shapes and colors, transitioning to letters and eventually words that generations of parents have taught their kids to learn at home before school, but it brings it into a 21st century approach. Generally I try and avoid toys, even educational ones, that require the use of a tablet. I prefer toys that require hands-on, creativity inspired play. This toy delivers at all.

Perhaps calling it a toy is an overgeneralization, but based on the amount of fun and excitement that the kids have while using it, there is no better descriptor. This certainly made learning fun and enjoyable. As the fun uncle we often have several of the nephews over to babysit. At varying ages some are simply still trying to master basic shapes and colors, will Sam have moved on to spelling and words. Whatever level your little ones are at, you will find an activity that is intellectually stimulating and creatively challenging. There are a variety of games that can be used, and after downloading the genius app, the kids very quickly have mastered how to use the app all on their own. Some as young as four. This is incredibly simple to use, download, and set up.

The included plastic pieces but the shapes and letters are thick and sturdy enough to withstand several children and their aggressive play styles. The Apple challenge them to create words or reenact patterns based on what’s on the screen, and thanks to the iPads built-in camera the app is able to see and track what the kids do in real time, or as they put it the iPad just knows LOL.

We’ve already looked at other kits that come from Cosmo. There’s a great quality brands and very encouraging to help the children along.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersWe were so excited to get this set and honestly I am blown away at this interactive educational game for my kids.

The set up was pretty easy, go to playosmo.com/start and set up an account on your ipad. From there you will select which start kits or kits that you have and it will load a page of all the apps you should download for those. Some games will require you to put in a code and you will need your username/password for that. You can also add your children and set up their account here – this way when they log in they just select their character/name – I did this for my children as they are 5 & 7.

    What you get:
Osmo Base & Reflector for iPad
    Tangram pieces
    Numbers tiles
    Words tiles
    Stackable storage for each game

7 Game Apps for this set: Math Buzz, Lettertopia, Numbers, Tangram, Words, Newton, and Masterpiece.

The games are great for kids aged 6-10+ but my 5 year old is also able to play some of the games! So this is pretty versitle and provides a wide range of activities for your children to do and learn from.

Learning to spell has been very helpful and challenging for my 7 year old as well as the Math Buzz – it has over 20 levels of math!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersCOVID and now the N.California definitely is the 1,2 sock in the stomach especially for those of us with kids at home. Thankfully products like Osmo has given us another activity to be able to enjoy as a family that is not mindlessly sitting in front of the TV. It’s one of those products that takes the stress out of figuring out how to keep your kid busy and getting some developmental skills in while you’re at it. Guilt free and fun! It’s all that we can really ask for right now ha!

Must have for interactive fun and learning! But this is the most important advice I have for you… Some of us have very rugged kid cases for our children that are hard to remove. So believe it or not, the type of case you have will determine how often you play Osmo games. We have those colorful big rubber rugged cases for our kids and it is a chore to remove, put back, remove, put back. So I don’t think we play Osmo games as much as we could or should. If you want to really invest in this, and really want your children to get the most out of it, you first need to get an easier case for your iPad, so that it doesn’t become a deterrent whenever you want them to play.

Lastly, the compatibility should be emphasized… “All iPads except Generation 1, iPad Pro 11-inch and iPad Pro 12.9-inch. The minimum iOS version needed is iOS 9.”

As for the games itself, they are top notch, and there are plenty of YT videos to learn more about them. 5 stars!

Important advice... get an easy to remove case for your iPad!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this for my kiddo is starting Kinder (late birthday). We started with the little genius and he loves it. He is already learning so much. I know this will be a great supplemental program during his distance learning. This will keep him on track for math and reading. The best part is he thinks its play time but so educational.

I would say that this would be a great educational tool for the house if it were compatible with my iPad Pro 11inch. I attempted to download all of the apps and had no problems with that. but none of them would move any further since my iPad wasn’t compatible. it appears to be aa fun tool but I’m going to have to repair my iPad mini as that’s what its compatible with and then maybe it will work. Other than that, it seems to be very immersive with plenty of complementary apps to make it a very educational experience for children of all ages.

We are all looking for ways to keep our kids entertained while not completely rotting their brains. Osmo provides an entertaining way to accomplish this. It is done with essentially a mirror and tiles. This particular set comes with tangrams, letters and numbers as well as download codes for 7 games.

There are a few negatives, unless you have a VERY slim case, you have to remove it to get the osmo reflector on and to place it in the stand. With our Otterbox, this becomes a 3-10 minute project on each end of the Osmo playtime.

We also found it works best if the osmo has a solid white surface beneath it, otherwise the tiles can be hit or miss.

The games themselves are pretty fun for kids, if a bit simple for adults or older kids. One big hit in the family has been “Masterpiece” which simply allows you to draw on blank paper by tracing a reflection.

Overall, this is good fun and I’m looking forward to trying some other games and tiles.

  29. DarrellINJ says:

First of all, the concept is great. All games are well thought through and graphics is beautiful. However, you only get enough accessories for a couple of apps/games. You need many more sets/accessories to have access to the other apps they showoff to you, but have no way to play unless you pull out the credit card.
The setup was a little confusing because you have to download an app for every kit and the main app doesn’t have any games. It serves as just a portal to download the apps for each game set.
The games are pretty fun and developmental and our little one asks to play often. You get a set of letters, a set of numbers, and a set of shapes for tangram, which are awesome. It’s more entertaining than traditional learning methods and is more useful than free apps; our little one doesn’t get bored too fast, but the increased screen time worries me.
Overall, it is a good way to supplement your homeschooling routine, especially during the quarantine, as long as you set up the limits of screen time. Also, you can use your sets for improvised spelling/math exercises, and shapes for tangram.

Good concept and idea. Not much included in this starter kit.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI wanted to wait for a while to ensure my son had sufficient time to play with it. During the entire time, he was thoroughly engaged and kept asking for more lessons. I was initially very skeptical at the high price of this product, but considering that we all have to pretty much home school nowadays during the pandemic, it is dollars well spent to supplement the remote learning that my wife and I have found largely ineffective.

The base is good and the reflector works well, though the pieces do not stay together well with the reflector mirror. So, be sure to store them in a bin or bag.

The apps are very well-designed and intuitive to use — he was able to self-start all the lessons, freeing us up with focusing on our own work from home activities.

As an extra bonus, we were able to play some games as a family for some bonding time.

Osmo is amazing, i have kids ages 5 to 8 and i had the old version that they loved and this is a huge upgrade. Don’t get me wrong it was great before but the graphics and entertainment is so much more. This Osmo couldn’t have come into my house at a better time. Its helping my 5 year olds with patterns, and letter and number recognition and reinforcing skills for my older kids with spelling and math. When I’m focusing on my older two kids elearning i have my twins doing Osmo and vice versa. They even like watching eachother play. Great storage containers to keep games separated and organized and pretty much has everything you would want. There are so many games and things to do in this bundle and any extra way to support my childrens learning in a fun engaging way couldn’t be better in my book. Highly recommend.

Finding new ways to keep my children engaged and excited about learning while at home has been challenging but I have been very impressed with Osmo so far! I have been wanting to get it for a while so I was really interested in seeing how my children would like it. My preschooler is obsessed with the Tangram and Numbers games. I feel like I’ve already seen some growth in her understanding of math concepts when she plays what she calls “the fish game”. My first grader is a math lover so he enjoys that game as well but it’s been a challenge to get him interested in reading. The Words game has been really great so far in encouraging him to practice his letter sounds in a new fun way. I love that there is a balance between using an app and actually doing hands on activities. It seems like my kids are more interested in using it and engaged in what they are doing. I would absolutely be interested in trying more games in the future.

We got a lot of the osmo sets beyond just this one and I really like the whole system. Most of the games work well and I really like the hands-on manipulation. I think she has the most fun with the tanagrams (in this set) and the colored squiggles (in another set), but she learns a lot from the coding set and she learns a lot from the letters and numbers in this set too.
The base and mirror work very well, but you can’t use a normal case with this. We found a cheap used osmo case on amazon, and I wouldn’t like this setup near as well without the case. I don’t like having our ipad out of the case. I do like that the manipulatives have their own sturdy cases. We use it on a light colored coffee table in good lighting and it’s worked really well.
The only thing I don’t like is that it advertises apps you don’t have to your kids. I wish it would only do that in the parent app. It doesn’t force your kids to watch videos or anything, but as they’re scrolling through the apps it shows ones you don’t have with “get this” style adverts.
It can really add up as you’re collecting these, but it’s really great to have kids play with things and not just tapping at the screen. Even though we have a lot, I’d still like to get more of the sets! We really like this.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersMy 6 and 8 years old really enjoy playing OSMO Genius Starter Kit! It is really a good teaching tool as they are learning through play.
The Numbers game is full of fun. We have tried the addition, I don’t know if it will get to a harder mode of multiplication in the future after my kids finish the addition.
The Words game is not so easy for 1st grader but we are expecting more progress through it.
The Tangram game is fun as well. It’s just not difficult and attractive enough for 8 years old.
My boys’ favorite game is the Newton. It was attractive and keeped them brain storming while playing and learning.
The instructions says paper and pencil works, but I set up a white dry erase board for kids to draw on while playing the Newton and the Masterpiece.
There is no additional charge for apps. Very entertaining and educational learning games. Highly recommend!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersSo I actually have one of the Osmo for my younger son whom is almost 3 and it is Th e best thing ever for him. This one I got for my 7 year old and my 6 year old niece to play with and to be able to play with us. While I do like this one it’s just not as interesting to my son and niece as the other one is for my young one.

While they do like it and they will play it I have to suggest it as opposed to them being so excited that they ask to play all the time. Maybe it’s just them but I’ve sat down and played this with them too and though the games are kind of cool they just don’t have the wow factor that the younger one does.

However I will say that if given the choice between this and prodigy they usually choose this and I think that the fact that they have real world things to use in the game has a lot to do with that since they can really immerse themselves into it.

The only big issue I have with these osmo systems is that it specifically says in the main description bar all you need is an iPad. That is simply not true and should be changed to comparable with MOST iPads. It does not work with the newer pros and thus without intensively reading every single bit about this you wouldn’t notice until it was to late. Fortunately for me I have multiple iPads in my house and some non pro ones so it wasn’t a big deal but it very well can be for Others

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI probably didn’t need the base as my nephew already has one with his hot wheels game one he got for his birthday. Non the less, this set up easy enough on his eye pad. Mom was happy because while it’s fun and a game, it’s also educational.
Several games to choose from. He’s enjoyed playing with his friend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI actually work in IT and this was a little strange to set up as it wasn’t clear what all of the games were that we had access to and which ones to actually download.

Then, We had the Genius Starter Kit + Family Game Night and that was listed at the bottom of our options, even though a regular Genius Starter Kit without Family Game Night was at the top of the list. I guess I’m not the genius!

So after choosing that, the installs are weird, you install like 6 other apps, as opposed to installing 1 app with 6 games inside. That was the quirky part, having to go to the App Store 6 times for the 6 different games — why couldn’t they have just had a single button you click to just install all 6 games for you?

All that being said, I still give this 5 stars due to the pure educational enjoyment from my 2 oldest kids (6 & 8 years – the perfect age group for this) and the fact that the install is only done once and now that is done.

As far as the game play, this is GENIUS!!! Whoever invented OSMO is truly brilliant, because it is so simple, it is just a mirror reflection onto the iPad camera! They then figured out how to make games using just a mirror! You really just have to get one and use it, but trust that these are entertaining and educational games for kids to enjoy.

My oldest has actually used an Osmo at school as part of her studies, we are super glad to have this because we have chosen to do distance-learning for the first 9-weeks of school coming up. So the exact thing she uses at school, we now own. And even better, this is suited for our 6 year old also, so a 2 for 1 type educational learning aid.

Now there’s already some “up charge” things where you MAY choose to buy additional games, etc, but we are using what is included in the Genius Starter Kit plus the Family Game Night games.

Quirky setup for parents, but 5 star end result for the kids!

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersOK so I ordered this yesterday, it came delivered by Prime so arrived by 4pm today. What can I say? This is an incredible product and it’s well worth every penny. Now that schools are closed, I am having to work from home. This will provide a brilliant “virtual teacher” if you like by means of keeping my 5 year old occupied whilst I do my role. There is only so much “activity sheets” and toys a child can play with but when kids are obsessed with technology and this is so interactive. She is enjoying the maths game. We have got around not having the creative package by drawing on pieces of paper instead. 10/10. Especially with keeping our children’s brains working during this awful time.

  42. Anonymous says:

It seems expensive for some plastic toys, albeit good quality plastic, but you are paying for the software and the software is very good. You will probably need to sit with your child to persuade them to play with this, but that’s no bad thing. The game play is engaging enough for your child to forget that is is educational and keeps them learning without complaining.

Although the recommended age only runs up to 10, some of the puzzles challenge adults and children love the fact that you’re both having to think to solve the problems.

The system works best in a brightly lit room, and if you have a white table, that is perfect. It’s slightly annoying that you are constantly reminded of the other toys you can buy and that’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.

This is so good. The system is easy to set up (on a 2019 10.2″ iPad), with a base that you simply slot the iPad in to and a sort of mirror piece that clips over the camera and reflects real world content and answers. The games are excellent: pitched at a perfect level to provide a fun, educational, and challenging experience to a pair of boys aged 7 and 9 (there is content suited for both younger and older players), as well as offering a fascinating opportunity to see something they do in the real world interacting with a tablet.

This is a great way to get kids interested in practicing a wide range of areas relevant to their education — Maths, English, Non-Verbal reasoning (via the shape challenges of Tangrams), Physics (Newton), and Art.

The games start out easy, but progress to some really quite challenging tasks. The Tangrams, Numbers, and Words games each have a set of physical game pieces included — a range of coloured shape pieces; physical numbers and dot tiles; and upper and lower case letters in two colours. The sets of play pieces are stored in labelled pots, and all three pots stack together for storage. Newton and Masterpiece use your own real life objects. Although the trick to how this system works is fairly simple — a reflector feeding information in to the camera on the iPad — the real world meets tech interface is a brilliant hook for screen-mad kids.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI am really impressed with the quality of this product, my 5 year old loves it. Not too interested in the word game at the moment, but loves the numbers and tangram. I purchased ‘pizza co’ and ‘coding awbie’ separately and he loves these too.
All the osmo apps are free but you do need the osmo stand and reflector for the iPad or tablet (we use iPad). I did not buy the base for monster app, we found a white board or paper (but you have to keep using a new piece of paper with each drawing) did the job (sorry osmo) same with the newton app, we found the reflector could see lego pieces and used this info to make the game playable without purchasing all the pieces. I do highly recommend and am saving for the detective board for geography.. well done osmo.

Nothing in this starter kit can’t be done on the cheap, such as good old fashion pen and paper because of this it makes osmo a lot of money, but I think the next generation just learn more interactively with tech. I’m happy because I got a discount at Christmas, I also found with research that I could save some money by buying the genius starter kit and adding other games that need interactive board and pieces etc. you might find you can by the base and reflector and then just get the free apps, that way you can use pen and paper for e.g. And then decide if you want to pay up. Although they do grow with this product, at least over the next 10 years!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA little on the expensive side for what it is but my son absolutely loves it. With him having autism the Osmo really helps him learn and communicate. Fast delivery although it wasn’t packed into an Amazon box. Just a label stuck to the original box.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI like the fact that our 6 year old screen addict can have opportunities for learning while enjoying himself.
I dislike the choice I had to make between Genius and Creative. I loved the Creative game in which the child’s drawings are pulled up onto the screen by a friendly monster but it didn’t seem worth buying the Creative package just for that so I chose Genius. There are some add-on programs but the only way to get the monster drawings is to buy the whole creative set. It would be better if it was more flexible.

clever packaging – not sure the stand and reflector warrant the cost but it is highly enjoyed at home.

Firstly this only works with specific iPads. Check yours is compatible before you buy.

It comes nicely packaged. The whole package seems child proof and of high quality.

To get started I had to download an app. The first thing that came up was an advert to purchase more. Not happy about this as it already costs 99 to buy. It immediately got me thinking that this is one of those free but not free apps. I then had to register and create an account. Then I had to download an app for each game. I was getting really annoyed at this. It would’ve been good to have it all under one app. I get that there are larger, more expensive versions with more games but why not have them all on 1 app but keep them locked until they’re paid for? Eventually, it was set up and ready.

We finally got started, popping the iPad on the stand and the mirror over the camera. Simple and fits well. Starting with the maths game. It was like magic. Moving the pieces around in front of the mirror works well. It picked them all up and you have quite a large working area. You can slide them along a table or pick them up and place them. Also worked out that you can place lots of pieces in front of the mirror and use your hands to cover the ones you don’t want the game to see. Can make it much quicker to answer. It’s a good interactive educational game to have at home. I can see why some schools use it. Combining an iPad with actual physical counters, numbers, letters, shapes etc makes it more engaging.

It allows children to learn as well as get creative. The games get harder as your child progresses.

It turned out better than I anticipated. If bought early on, it will last years until your child is almost ready for secondary school.

    Expensive but long lasting.

This is a must have for family with children between the age 6-10. Due to lots of small parts, so not for children age below. We have a iPad Pro 9.7 so this is compatible. My 6 year old nephew has been hooked on using electric devices on non-educational games and after inducing this the Genius starter kit to him, it was eye opening for his parent to watch him interact joyfully on the Osmo games such as the Tangram, word tiles and number tiles. For the first time, my nephew slowing drifting away from non-educational games on his electronic device to spending ours playing and learning from Osmo. Cleverly, everything is picked up by the camera which attached on the Osmo base and the child play against the character from the screen. Overall, it’s a brilliant present and an investment for any child for that age range. Highly recommended!

    A fun and interactive game.

This product really caught my eye as I LOVE the idea of educational toys for kids.

Having them learn whilst having fun has got to be the best use of a child’s time possible!

So I instantly ordered this for my 5 year old niece.
Age stated is 6-10, but is a also suitable from 5+ in description (tad confusing but not a big deal).

My thoughts whilst watching my niece play with this product were:
    – What a great learning tool
    – Innovative
    – Interactive
    – Most importantly: it’s fun!! It’s obvious kids learn more whilst having fun.
    – This is the future of children learning.

Bit more info about the product:
    – The products give children the option to play alone or with friends.
    – There are over 150 puzzle images so a LOT of fun to be had.

The product is designed to improve reading, vocabulary and cognitive function. Also additional learning includes:
    – Improving maths skills by allowing multiple ways to solve maths problems.
    – Improving problem-solving skills using shape based puzzles.
    – Enhances creativity by using video to have fun while using imagination.

Hundreds of visual puzzles, fun games and drawing exercises with:
    – Tangram pieces
    – Numbers tiles
    – Words tiles

There are 5 game apps/categories including:
    – Numbers
    – Tangram
    – Words
    – Newton
    – Masterpiece

I’ve tried to include as much information as possible about the product so you know what you’re buying here, as it is quite different from the usual/popular toys so hope this review gives further insight beyond the product description.

Overall, I believe this is a great product. Not often do my reviews look like an advertisement – but I truly do love everything about it. Children being able to have fun whilst learning really is the future and this product does just that. Would recommend to anyone with a child between the ages of 5 and 10.

Delivered by Parcel Force in an Amazon branded box.

I recently got an Osmo Genius for fire which the grandkids love . When this iPad edition came up I thought of someone who would love it .

The Genius for iPad is aimed at Children 6-10 years old but can be used educationally for children who are Autistic who are older .

In the box you receive the base for iPad the storage boxes for each game and the gaming pieces. There is a cover which goes over the camera lens to project onto the surface below when playing . Tangram pieces , creative drawing numbers and spelling , all of which have their own apps which need to be downloaded first.

This is a great learning tool and I know it’s going to be well used by the lad who’s receiving it .

At 1p under 100 it’s not cheap , but as parents and grandparents we want our children to be able to learn at their own pace , games that make learning fun are welcome .

    Not compatible with Fire Table

Now this must be one of the best inventions yet!! We just spent several hours over half term playing the games with our 5 and 10 yr old.

You get all you need to set up plus 3 boxes of games. My kids who don’t always enjoy board games were interested in this the minute I said we use the Ipad with it! (Typical)

I like that they use the iPad but also physically touch objects and they seem to agree as they were arguing over who can have it next! We will have to add one to the Christmas list.

If you are thinking of buying your child a ‘different educational’ game this is it! It was amazing to see how focused and engaged they were whilst playing (and learning!).

    I cannot recommend this enough!

Wow! Truly an amazing concept that allow children to learn through play
