Una delle marche migliori di zaini. Robusto, comodo, colore bello.

A great pack, travelled through Italy for 3 weeks with it, never left me wanting. Great size, easy to carry, and that rain/airport cover is a great piece to have the bag covered while in transit.

The quality of this rucksack is fantastic. Very similar to a north face back pack I have.
I love that it zips from the front, not the top.
I use this for wild camping and it’s the prefect size to fit everything I need for 1 or 2 nights out.
I’ve been a soldier in the Army for over 10 years at this point so I’m used to carrying a lot of weight on my back over great distances but this is the first time I’ve ever been comfortable doing it.

I got this because I’m an Art student and I need to cart my copious supplies with me and this is really easy on my back, It feels lighter than it should be and I love it.

Nice backpack for both travelling and hiking-camping. I find it very versatile and minimal looking!!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBeen studying and buying photo backpacks and wheeled packs for years. Have had Tamrac and LowePro primarily. These have been OK when travelling and for cabin luggage but if I wanted a pack for walking pleasure when not on work assignment, none of them proved satisfactory …. choose a pack good for photo gear and there is not much room left for hiking and emergency gear.

Chanced upon this Farpoint Trek 55. First thing I noted was 55 litres. Second was the U shaped zip layout.I could plonk a photo equipment insert and still leave room for hiking gear. Also, this pack is just the ticket if instead of hiking gear, I use it for LoewPro Toploader 75 and a Pacsafe Camsafe Anti-Theft Protective Camera Insert, Large. All the kit (and a tripod on the outside).

The second purpose for this pack is that neither Osprey nor Alpine Lowe produce a hybrid pack which is large enough for my work assignments, which I need 100 litre +. At present I use one bought on Amazon which is 115 litress, has wheels and for going up the gangway on ships or indeed the narrow corridors, it is carried with shoulder harness on one’s back. Well, instead of one large pack, I could split it to this one (55 litres) and the Farpoing 65. Then my office equipment could be carried in Farpoint 36 (smaller) or Loew Aline AT Roll-On 40 (larger).

The pack has other good features. Top amongst them is the ventilated suspension back system. You would appreciate that in hot climates. There are anchor points for attaching an Osprey Daylite pack. There are two straps which you could secure a Karrimat on the outside. Dump pockets on both sides on the outside. Snap hook for keys inside the top pocket etc.

Over all I like this pack. If I have to make one negative observation it is that the area around the side handle is of the same thin material wall of the pack, There is not much in way of reinforcement. Of course you as owner of the pack would be careful but I could see that being accidentally ripped by the bus driver or luggage handlers or it being caught by something snagging near the converors in and around airports. At 55 litres it is too large for most cabin luggage size restrictions.

This pack exceeded expectations. I purchased the 65 liter. It has a wire mesh back that has space for adequate ventilation. It is an Osprey so the quality is superior to other packs. The only negative is it’s slightly to large for a carry on. This is a non issue for me. I highly recommend not only this pack but any pack produced by Osprey.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI have had a lot of backpacks over the years from East German and US surplus to name brands. The folks at Osprey seem to have learned from all of them.

This is not a daypack. It is not a summit pack. This is for carrying a large amount of stuff comfortably and keeping it organized. It has straps and fasteners – internal and external – everywhere it should to allow access and keep stuff together. The material is light but seems sturdy. The zippers have pulls that will work when your fine motor control is shot.

The unit is also very comfortable. There is padding and mesh everywhere there should be to prevent chafing and over-pressure. The hip and shoulder suspension system distributes weight well, and the mesh panel permits sweat to evaporate. An internal pocket and convenient hole for my Camelback bladder and tube is a very nice change from other packs I’ve owned.

And then there are the things you just wouldn’t think of. Chief among these is a cover and handle so the pack can be safely covered up and used as a piece of luggage on a plane or train. Excellent foresight.

So, I’ve ditched my old pack and am going with this one. Well done, Osprey.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a very big pack but it’s well laid out without a ton of “mystery” pockets that look like they should be for something but you have no idea what. Osprey makes a good pack and this one is no exception. It’s definitely sized for a man and a fairly tall one at that. It is huge and I think you could get everything for a several week long trek inside–just remember you have to carry it. Everything is well padded and like all Osprey packs it’s well balanced with just enough options for real use. There’s room for a hydration unit, there is a carry bag so you can check it through with luggage and all the straps are expandable and easily adjustable. The waist belt has pockets in front that zip (not sure why anyone ever puts little pockets that don’t zip) but nothing to worry about here. The pack lays flat and opens up so you get a large packing area and straps and clasps for everything. This is a first class, well constructed, well planned backpack. Highly recommended. I’m off to find out if there is something comparable for a woman. This pack is nice enough to need a trip. (It looks like the Osprey Fairview 50 is the comparable women’s pack–https://www.amazon.com/Osprey-Fairview-Womens-Travel-Backpack/dp/B07P6X9Q1F?ref_=bl_dp_s_web_3037669011).
