I liked how fast ice is made ,and how when full it stops just keeps ice cool till you empty

Easy to use and makes a handful of ice cubes in around 10 minutes. When I say a handful I mean a handful. Each cube is around the size of a butter bean and unless you use 3 or 4 handfuls in a drink they melt withing 10 minutes.
Don’t get me wrong, I like a drink, but finishing a gin and tonic in 10 minutes to make sure the ice hadn’t melted was a bit too much. However is you leave it on just popping the cubes out and topping up with water it works quite well.
A pity it doesn’t have a chilled area to keep the ready made cubes cold.

How does everyone clean this? Iv had ours for a while and have a nightmare cleaning it it can build up quite a residue inside 🙁

The ice maker works well and has been great especially in the last few days in the current extreme weather event a little noisy and creates its own heat which is to be expected as that is how refrigerators work

Easy to use and makes ice. Just as described. Can’t fault it.

Hubby brought this as a gift for our anniversary as he was fed up of buying ice for me. Pleasantly surpised and in an afternoon I’ve stocked piled my freezer with ice. Been using for 2 months and very happy.

This is so simple to use, fill with water (I use cheap 5L bottled water from Iceland), and leave to make ice. The finished product is stored however, this compartment is refrigerated so every couple of cycles I collect the ice, bag and freeze.
The bullet size is perfect for fitting into my narrow fancy water bottle.
Energy use isn’t bad at all, checked my smart meter and the numbers hardly moved.
    I can definitely recommend!

What a fantastic ice making machine, it makes 9 ice cubes in 8 minutes, you need to watch the process and when switching off when it’s half way through making ice is another process to watch. It’s the bee’s knee’s, just go for it. First time buying an ice machine and lm pleased.

This machine is amazing for the price. I got it on sale and I use it everyday for everything. I even put ice on ice cream now.

Great little machine. Once it has cooled the water, it settles to making lots of ice cubes, perfect for drinks.

My last machine died suddenly so I was pleased it arrived quickly. The top is flat which means you can rest the ice spoon on. If you put the spoon inside it will block the sensor indicating it’s full of ice so we keep the spoon on the top. Previous machines have lacked a flat area to leave the spoon and they tend to hit the deck and get chewed by the dog. This is better. There was initially a slight odour to the ice but I have to admit I didn’t wait the 24 hours before switching it on.

This is such a time and effort saver, I switch it on, it will run and make ice until the internal ice tray is full, I check on it anytime I go into the kitchen and empty the internal ice tray into an ice tray in my freezer, I repeat this until the ice tray in my freezer is full. So far I only have to run it once a week and we have ice at all times.

It does take a while to make the ice and it only makes a very small amount each time. So for any reasonable use I recommend refilling an ice bucket in the freezer.

    I would highly recommend.

One of the best small appliances l have. Makes loads of ice in a short space of time. Easy to clean and really easy to operate. It is literally ‘plug and play’. Never run out of ice and it’s already paid for itself in the equivalent of buying bags of ice. No regrets. Love it.

So it does make ice cubes – and I love it for that.

The ice cubes melt quite quickly compared to store bought ones (they’re quite ‘airy’, not solid like the normal ones you get in Tesco etc).

It takes a while to get usable ice cubes – the first 3-4 batches are quite small (and unusable) – so they need to be dumped back into the resevoir to make it colder (and bigger/better ice cubes). It makes them fast enough once it gets going – but you’re not gonna have usable ice cubes ‘on-demand’. Certainly easy enough to have it make ice cubes for a few hours and stick those in the freezer though.

It’s not super easy to clean, but you don’t have to do it often.

It’s not tiny, and is moderately loud (about twice as loud as a fridge/freezer on its compression cycle – not super loud, but not quiet either).
