Easy to set up, installation of the camera is quick using the bracket supplied. The Nooie App is easy to use, I’ve not viewed motion detection / night vision but previous reviews suggest that this is good. Resolution of the camera is good, clear images.
The Nooie Outdoor Cam is easy to install. Everything is provided to fix the camera either to a wooden or solid support but the camera requires USB power, so you must be able to take the fixed 3 metre USB cable to a power source for the included USB mains adaptor.
Connecting the camera to WiFi should be done before installing the camera outside. For me, this was not without incident. The camera kept suggesting the WiFi password was incorrect, which I knew was false. After following the reset procedure, connection to the WiFi was finally established and it was never an issue after that.
I fixed the camera to the facia above a window and took the USB cable in through a top light. This gave me a view of my front garden and roadway. However, in this location, the street lights are so powerful that the camera’s night vision never came into play. To test the night vison, it was later installed at the rear of the property looking at the back door.
The camera covers a wide area and the motion detection is good under bright conditions. However, in dull light and at night, I found the motion detection less reliable. Notification of movement is a bit hit and miss with an SD card for recording, but may be better when sending to Nooie Cloud Storage.
Configuring the various options is easy via the Settings menu. The main settings of interest are:-
“Motion Detection” which can be toggled On/Off and tuned for Sensitivity – Low, Medium or High. I found Medium gave adequate detection without too many false alerts. A detection zone can be defined by cropping the field of view, and up to 3 Schedules can be set if you don’t need to be alerted 24/7. When motion is detected, an alert is sent to the App and a 60 recording is started. This can be viewed later via the App.
“Sharing”, in the usual Nooie way, invites another user to have access to the device.
“Storage” in which you can subscribe to a paid Nooie cloud account and also toggle Loop Recording On/Off for the SD card. Loop Recording creates sequential 5 minute recordings until the card fills up, then the older recordings are then overwritten. However, this makes for laborious trawling through files to find anything of interest and can only be done with the card out of the camera.
The example photos are snapshots from triggered video. The images are highly compressed, but reasonably clear. A car number plate can just about be read at about 20m. People approaching the premises can easily be identified and unwanted visitors, such as cats, can be monitored. We had far more than we ever realised! The trigger may be set off by flying insects, rain or snow, especially if there is an extra light source such as a modern street light or security light.
Video recorded on the SD card can be played back via the Nooie app, but there are no controls to pause/rewind etc., neither can the recorded video be downloaded to the smartphone. This is the main drawback as far as I am concerned because it means the card has to be removed from the camera to extract any information. Another option is to pay for cloud storage, but it would have been better if Nooie allowed upload to DropBox or other cloud storage which the user already has, rather than have to pay for extra, unnecessary storage.
The camera gives great peace of mind when away from the property and at night. We even knew where our postman had left a parcel before arriving home and finding his card.
Despite some reservations, I think the camera deserves 5 stars because of the facilities on offer, image quality and the prompt response of support staff to questions.

Having already purchased Nooie’s smart plugs, I was already impressed with their approach to smart design and the value for money of their products. When we moved house, I had no hesitation in purchasing one of their outdoor cameras for our home security. After placing the order the camera arrived quickly the following day. The camera came with full instructions, a wall fixing plate, raw plugs and screws to attach it to the wall. It also comes with a long power lead about 2.5m long so it can be plugged into a normal wall socket.
Out of the box, the first thing was to connect the camera to the home wifi, this only took a few minutes and was straightforward following the instructions. You need to download Nooie’s app, and once connected the camera appears automatically in the app. you can then set up some of the other functions for the camera going through the settings, such as motion detection, sound detection, and your notifications.
You also are prompted to set up video recording storage either by subscribing to Nooie’s cloud storage options or by inserting a micro SD card.
Fitting the camera took about 15 minutes, drilling 2 holes and attaching the provided wall plate. The camera then rotates onto the plate and safely clicks into place, adjust the camera angle and you’re good to go! With the camera in place, you get notifications immediately on your phone whenever it detects movement or sound, and you can communicate through the camera using the built-in microphone and speaker.
Having used it now for a week or so, it’s a great bit of kit that has a sleek design and does exactly what it says it does… definitely recommend it.
Bought this as I already have some Nooie products (the wifi sockets) that work really well.
The camera is super simple to set up and mount. You get all the accessories in the box. The design is nice and modern and the night vision works really well.
I have mine mounted outdoors watching the back garden and have not had any issues yet.

I ordered this security camera as I was impressed with their smart plugs and needed to replace my older system, I must say I’m very happy with my choice it was easy to install and set up in fact it took longer to drill the holes to mount it on the wall than it did to set up, the night vision mode is very clear and has a siren to warn off Intruders.
Space to install an SD card or have cloud storage to save all the footage for review at a later date.

Purchased one of these to replace a blink xt camera I currently use. So far i’m rather impressed especially for the price. Very simple to setup using the app available for IOS and Android (I’m using IOS) Took about 5 mins from unboxing getting the app setting up and account to get it up and running. On setup it notified me there was a firmware update which I did, not sure what it improved or added but its all running well. I’ve installed a 128gb microsd in mine so that I don’t have to pay the subscription for cloud service.
I will probably end up with a second for the front of the house shortly, 5 out 5 for value and simplicity, i’m sure there is better but doubt anything better at this price point.
I am a big Google fan and have all the devices in my home. I was looking for a camera for my garden and when I saw this on offer at Amazon I couldn’t believe the price and actually didn’t have great expectations for the device. Oh how wrong I was! The unit was well packaged, looks like the Google Nest device, sets up nice and easy with the nooie app available on both Google Play store and Apple App store and even works with Google assistant. As I say, set up was simple, the only issue I had was that the power cable wasn’t long enough to reach my power source, so I had the be creative with this part of the set up but if you have an outdoor power source you should have no issues. The picture quality is fantastic, even at night and the nooie cloud storage is good value for money and nice and easy to use. There is even an SD card slot on the camera for video storage, although this is behind a screw fastened cover which may be a little fiddly to access when the camera is in it’s permanent position on your property. All in all a fantastic camera device and definitely a Google Nest cam killer!! Also the customer service is fantastic. Response very quickly to email assistance.
Very compact design, night vision, speaker, microphone and motion detection, very usefull for front door, however i installed to test it on back yard. Was very easy to pair even with alexa, however you need echo show to see the live feed, not working on the phone with alexa. Great camera for the price.
Bought this last week & put it up two days ago ….
Set up was a breeze – paired straight away without issue & picks up the WiFi really well. Everything you need is in the box – even cable clips. Easy to mount. Looks & feels neat & tidy & decent quality.
Picture quality during both day & night is excellent. App is easy to understand.
Sound detection is good – can be set to low, medium or high sensitivity, all of which work well.
BUT -THE MOTION DETECTOR DID NOT INITIALLY WORK – Even when waving a hand in front of it – although ironically it picked up the odd moth overnight. An email from Nooie’s tech department told me to do a ‘camera factory reset’ (done either on the camera itself or via the app settings). This fixed the problem & it’s now working well. I would advise purchasers to check the motion detector works prior to fitting – it’s easier to do this at the kitchen table rather than 10ft up a ladder!
I’m more than happy with the camera & the associated app – and have now purchased a second camera to monitor my garage.
I do find the sensitivity is very sensitive even on the lowest setting and am now trying out the “zone” feature to avoid nearby trees etc. They all connect very well to my Mesh wi fi system, are very good all round cameras and are being perfected all the time. One of my only wishes would have been a black or dark coloured one as white in some instances can be rather conspicuous, but I guess if people see them up they will avoid the property.
Very impressed by this camera, it’s the perfect addition to my growing collection of smart home devices!
Very smart frustration free packaging and really good to see them using cardboard instead of loads of plastic.
Very good quality plastic on the camera and sleek and simple design. Feels and looks very good quality. Easy installation and setup with it being USB powered and having a long cable. Easily set up on their app, you use a QR code for the camera to scan and it tells you everything you need to do. Did a firmware update straight away and has been flawless.
Linked quickly to Google Assistant and now can stream effortlessly to my smart displays.

After a really easy installation, the app was pretty much self-explanatory and the paper instructions easy to read I had it up and running in around 30 minutes. The camera itself does feel well made and it’s small size and ingenious connection between the camera and the plastic disc that attached to the building made it really easy. Due to the cladding on the house I had to fashion an L-bracket to hold the camera in place, the light weight of the camera meant this worked well.
Picture quality Is excellent as I’ve said, and the wide angle lens means it completely covers the area I wanted it to, almost from the front door to the road, it has very good positioning ability so I managed to get it to cover just to the cars and no further (I didn’t want the neighbours to get upset thinking I’m pointing a camera into their front rooms).
I was also quite amazed by the quality of the IR video, with almost no light the picture (which dips into black and white) is still crisp and clear, it would be extremely easy to see if someone was in the garden during the night hours.
All in all, an excellent WiFi security camera, and at an extremely keen price, I would recommend this camera to anyone wanting a security camera.

Build quality is excellent at any price. Fitting was easy – though note removal is hard (as it should be!) Running off SD card. Detection works well, and in latest firmware has zone functionality. Nigh vision works excellently. The app still needs some work – a few areas of usability could be improved. All this said – for the money – it is miles better than Nest or Blink type cameras.
Night vision picture quality is fab so is the day quality, I wasn’t expecting much from this but I have to be honest it’s fab for the price you can’t go wrong, and it’s really simple to set up. I’ll be purchasing a second for the side of the house to 5* very happy.
This camera was very easy to install (once mains power was available near the installation site), with clear instructions that were simple to follow. Once installed, getting it up and running was very easy with the app. Start to finish, physical installation and set up took no more than a couple of hours.

I installed this for security since we live right opposite a pub. I wanted to install in the exterior but can’t do it as of yet, so went with the next best thing – in a window.
The quality is great. Setup can be tricky at first, but once you get the hand of it it’s fine e.

Don’t write a lot of reviews, but felt I had to for this. Bought Nooie smart plugs before, which are excellent so I thought I’d give this a go, as I’ve seen the security light come on a few times lately, so my partner was getting a bit worried someone might be going into the garage.
Looked at other Cameras, but this one was one of the cheapest so I thought I’d give it a go (like I said, the plugs are brilliant). The camera itself has a quality feel, you can tell with the plastics used and the weight of it. Setting it up was simple, open the app and add Camera. It then asks you to hold up your phone to the camera for the on screen QR code, and thats it.
Screwed it in place and adjusted to get a good view of the door. Picture quality is excellent, and so is the audio. Motion detection works great and I like the fact you can put an SD card in to save recordings. It’s quite windy today, but the sound is still crisp. All in all it is excellent value for money! Chuffed, and next time the security light comes on outside, I’ll be able to see what it is! (Probably a cat!)
Overall though well impressed for the price. Now its been up for 24 hours and working with 32Gb microSD card – detection working and playback of events is great. Zoom in on camera picture via android is simple. Updating to 5 stars.
First impressions of the camera are good, the setup on the app was simple enough. Quality of the camera is good and the mounting system is simple. Couple of minor gripes; wire not long enough for where I would ideally like to mount but not a major issue and was hoping to backup to my local NAS drive but you can only save to an SD card or to a subscription cloud system. I appreciate these problems are specific to a very select few but thought was worth mentioning.
All-in-all, a really good camera, especially for the low price
Great camera, modern looks but unobtrusive with a wide view and crystal clear image. The app does all that’s needed and warns of people accessing the garden and allows two way communication and recording. Simple effective security solution that took minutes to install. With the app, connecting to WiFi and camera were quick and easy too! Just need another couple of these now to cover the side and rear gardens
We already had some Nooie smart plugs, which we are very pleased with, so when we spotted that they had an outside security camera we had to give it a try.
The camera feels really solid, no concerns about it being outside 24/7. Good secure mounting system. It’s also smaller than I was expecting which is good!

I had previously purchased Nooie smart plugs which are high quality and work well so I had high hopes for this camera.
Unboxing, it was clear that this camera is built well. Connecting it, I was impressed by the picture quality during daylight and this continued as dark descended.
Motion detection is excellent, ignoring moving branches and birds but picking up larger moving objects.
However, I found the app awful! I read lots of reviews confirming this! I dug out the box from the recycling pile and was thinking of returning.
Then I discovered that Nooie have a dedicated camera app (I had been using the app that came with the smart plugs). Back in the bin went the camera box!
This is a very good camera and at this price I think you will be very happy with your purchase. Things I don’t like: 1) access to the camera is only through the app and 2) the camera can be slow to connect to the app and sometimes forwarding/rewinding through recordings can be very slow.
I am already considering purchasing more cameras for better coverage around my house.
Got a couple of these for front door and parking area monitoring and we’re very impressed with the quality. From the packaging thru instructions and the App they feel and perform just like a much more expensive brand we had at our previous house. Great design and functionality. Looks good on the house. Crystal clear day and night and easy to install.
The only criticism to consider fixing in next version is having the large USB plug hard wired in means you need a 16mm drill thru the wall. Micro usb or a bullet connected in line would have made it a smaller incision. Otherwise an excellent product.
PS not encountered any of the app issues others have reported so assume they have remedies these issues.
I own the Nooie Cam 360 and the Nooie Indoor Cam, so I decided to add the Outdoor camera to my collection as I’ve been impressed with my other cameras.
Firsty, I loved the box it came in. The contents were well presented and the box itself was from recycled materials. The camera build quality is really good. The camera feels solid and has a nice weight to it. I can’t see any places where the water may get in. And the slot for the micro sd card seems very watertight. The overall design is clean and unobtrusive.
Installation was easy enough. Screws and plugs are provided so it’s just a case of drilling into the wall and then fixing the mounting plate in place. I then added my micro sd card and fitted the camera to the plate. I was able to run the power cable through the window to a socket.
Next, I needed to add the camera to my Nooie app. Previously, I’ve had to split my wifi signal to 5ghz and 2.4ghz, so I could connect the camera to the existing 2.4ghz then add it to the app. As with my other Nooie cameras I was easily able to add the camera to the Nooie app within minutes. Credit to the app designer for making the process so simple and user friendly. Splitting the signal is fairly straightforward, done through the router settings. If in doubt, Google your router manufacturer and there are plenty of guides on how to do it.
The video feed is very clear and crisp and 1080 as advertised. Night vision mode is also really impressive even with minimal light in my back garden I could still see pretty clearly. It’s quite a wide field of view as well, without any sort of fish eye lens effect. The video playback from the micro sd card is the same quality and easily accessible via the app. On the whole video quality is great whether I’m viewing on the same wifi network or over 4/3G when I’m out the house.
Motion alerts can be a bit sensitive so that may take a few tweaks to get the right level. Two way audio isn’t the loudest, but I don’t really need that feature so not a problem for me. I can’t comment on the Alexa integration as I don’t use Alexa.
I’m pleased to say after the bad weather over the last few days, including a few downpours of rain and strong wind, the camera is still working perfectly fine. I have no doubt it would survive in all weathers thanks to the fantastic build quality.
So overall, really please, and well worth the money. I’ll be looking to buy another one for the front of my house soon. Keep up the good work Nooie.

I have recently dealt with Nooie customer support as I had a few queries. I dealt with a very helpful person called Alma. They were polite, informative and quickly responded to my queries. Overall it was a pleasant experience contacting support. This is really good to know that their products have strong support backing them up and providing prompt assistance when needed.

I had it up and running out of the box in possibly less than 10 minutes. Pics attached show it’s compact size – pen for scale.
Installation is very easy with the supplied kit.
The app is nice and intuitive and if you have multiple cameras then you can watch them together.
Works really well with Google hubs.
The 2 way audio is great.
Overall I have to say that this is a well designed 1080p camera. The nightvision and motion detection works really well. It can also trigger a built in alarm.
You also have to applaud a company that uses recycled material in their packaging.
It’s all nice and easy. I can’t recommend this camera enough – you can’t go wrong.
No wiring to contend with, just a simple USB connection. I had just enough room above my garage door for the cable to pass through. Perfect.

Very impressed with all of the functions. A bargain for 50.
I bought this Nooie Outdoor Camera basically to watch the wildlife at night, the frogs, maybe a neighbours cat and also what the dog is up to when he is outside when he thinks he isn’t being watched, this camera has not let me down. The function of allowing to invite friends to share has been a bonus as my mother who lives 500 miles away and not seen each other for a few years can now see us pottering in the garden when she feels like it. I think anyone who has elderly relatives you worry about, this is a good camera you could set up for them and with their permission could keep an eye on them occasionally to see if they are safe (ie no trips or falls) and maybe keep a watch on the security side without worrying them too much. All in all, for the price, it has been an added bonus for my garden viewing even in the recent rough weather, easy to set up, the fixing plate made it simple to mount and as I am nearly 60 and not very up on the technical side, the step by step guide on start up is easy, if I can do it, many also can. The option of turning off the night vision function means you could actually keep the camera inside the window for day time viewing if that is all you want.
Great product and easy to install. The quality of the picture is fantastic and the night vision is good too. The app took a few minutes to connect to the cameras but once connected it’s easy to use. It’s good how you can give other people access to view the cameras so everyone in the house can view just by them downloading the app and sending them a quick email.
Bought this to cover the back of the house. using the WiFi I have it on the garage and the night mode is very clear and the daylight is of very good quality image.
My house mate likes shouting at me when I arrive back at night from work with the intercom setting on the phone app….
I ordered one to start with and within 20 minutes I had fantastic CCTV coverage that monitored and recorded 24 hours a day. A few days later I ordered another for the other side of the house . You and run the usb cable for power anywhere as it’s so flat. The software this camera uses is very simple to use. You can send your friends a link so they can also monitor your property while you are away. I cannot believe this camera does so much for the money. You can watch live footage away from home and talk to people that are at your property, they can talk back to you as well, and all this is recorded at the same time. The software updates make the camera work even better as the company add features to the software within the updates. Brilliant customer service who always get back to you if you have a question. I am going to invest in the other products they have, due to how well built the products are and there functionality.
Having been very impressed with the Nooie Cam 360, I decided that I wanted a camera to view the end of my garden that is out of view of the main house. Obviously the first company I considered was Nooie again and I wasn’t disappointed.
As with all Nooie products the customer service and quality of packing is excellent. I installed the camera on the roof of my shed before Christmas however, due to Covid-19 I have not been able to write this review until now.
The camera uses the same app as the Cam360 – it just adds another camera, which makes it easy to use. The night vision is incredible. There is no light pollution at the end of my garden, so the night time photo that I have uploaded was taken in the pitch-black.
The camera has a speaker and microphone to allow you to hear what is going on and also to speak to someone if necessary. It isn’t hi-fi quality but perfectly acceptable. I can see me buying another camera for the front of the house and try the motion detection (which I have not used on either of my other cameras as I have not had a need to).
The camera has been working since November 2020 through all winter weather conditions without a problem. I would have no hesitation of recommending this camera.
Excellent camera for the money. Purchased this for 2nd property as I have Nest cameras. This functions just the same if not better than the Nest camera. Picture quality is superb and alert notifications are excellent

Really impressed by this little outdoor camera, looks stylish, easy to install, picture quality is great and it has been reliable for the past 4 months. Had other similarly priced wireless cameras before and had problems with dropped connections but never with the nooie.
Installed 32gb SD card which gives about 7 days playback. Tried motion detection but camera faces a road so it was triggered by traffic many times so switched off this feature, believe it has been improved with the latest firmware but not tried this yet.
As a previous user of Nest outdoor cam’s I thought I would give this a go as it is a 1/4 of the price.
What I found is that not only does this product look like the Nest, it actually performs in pretty much the same way.
Very quick connection to the app and super simple to install, once you have found a power source close enough.
Signal quality has been perfect, the app works well – I am using cloud based not the sd card – which works out about 2.50 per month.
The picture quality both day and night is superb – very clear and the sound also records well.
Only improvements I could suggest would be a longer cable 10ft is ok but limits installation a little, and on the Nest app when you got a notification it would also bring up a picture of the camera. But these are very minor gripes.
For the money this is exceptional – you will not be disappointed. I now need to buy one for the back of my house 🙂
Having bought a nest outdoor camera previously I was tempted by the apparent similar quality but much more affordable price point. The camera came well packaged, was simple to setup and configure and the loop recording to microSD was simple. Picture quality, especially at night, is really good. The app is simple and covers everything you need (use the newer Lifestyle app not Cam app). For the price point it’s hard to justify more expensive competitor variants.
The camera is super stylish, I LOVE that it has a white case with a white cable. So many have black cables that stand out and make cameras more obvious.
The picture quality is very good, even in night mode. I added a couple of night photos (it’s actually raining) and it’s incredible quality. Before I blacked it out, you could easily read the car number plate. The second photo shows the app’s options, where you can take a screenshot, record the video feed (which is then saved to your device), listen, speak or sound an alarm!!
If you need to zoom in, some detail is definitely lost, something to consider when positioning.
Installation was a breeze. You just screw in the base plate (2 screws) and then fit the camera to it. EASY. It’s then fully adjustable to get exactly the right angle.
The app is also easy to install/link to the camera and use day-to-day. Unlike the last camera I bought – where you need to remove the MicroSD card and run through software to view footage – you can view directly in the app at any time, from anywhere. Playback is smart, where you can skip forward/back quickly to the required date & time.
Downsides? None really.
This is now my 3rd Camera to the collection from Nooie, I have the Standard HD Camera, 360 Indoor Camera and now this is my purchase of the outdoor camera.
Amazing quality, nice and easy to setup within the App. Installation is straight forward. Never been let down by these products.
Would highly recommend these to anyone, even have a few family members who are using Nooie 360 Camera!
Everything I needed – something competitively priced that still delivers on picture quality. I didn’t need ‘top of the range’ just something that provides knowledge that my home is hooked up to CCTV to give me that extra level of confidence, both when home and when out of the house. Easy to install, easy to navigate via the app, and fast delivery. I’m really happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this to others.

These cameras are fantastic for the price. I used to use the logitech circle cameras but wanted to try something with SD card storage. The night vision is so much better than the logitech circle and the image quality is very clear. I’d definitely continue to buy this brand if they were to upgrade the camera with 4k quality. My only complaint is that the app isn’t very good. The feature I liked with logitech is that you have a time laps of the days events that you can quickly view to see if anything grabs your attention that may have happened through the day. This app doesn’t offer that feature and requires you to view every clip that it’s recorded all day. 90% of the time you camera will be capturing cars driving by and isn’t worth reviewing that footage. Sometimes the app is very buggy too, and definitely needs some improvements.
On opening the packaging this camera appears to be of high quality construction.
Setup is easy and straight forward as is installation. I do recommend adding the cameras to the app before installation especially if the cameras position is higher up. Set-up and installation took less than ten minutes for me as I had already planned routes for cables to be hidden.
I really like the fact an SD card can be added for local storage of recording, incorporated directly in to the cameras underside. This is the option I’ve gone for. Or there are various subscription cloud based storage options too.
Image quality in reduced light and dark is better than I expected and night vision appears clear.
The only gripe I have with the camera is the exposed cable, which leaves itself vunerable if you’re not able to get the camera out of reach from passers by.
Camera software on iOS is simple enough, and I find the facility to view multiple camera feeds at one time very useful. There is also the ability to set up a detection zone on each camera in the app – not tried this yet.
Night Vision Good. Motion Detection Good . Picture Quality very good.
Bad Point. Too Senitive even when on least notice. Even rain will Record. WHY!!
Absolutely fantastic outdoor IP camera. The set up was easy using the Nooie Camera app and installation was as simple as drilling 2 screw holes. The night vision is bright even in pitch black with a clear 1080p image. The motion detection is very sensitive even picking up the rain on low settings. I’m very impressed with this feature packed like camera and will likely order more.
Well I bought this thinking it’s very affordable and if it doesn’t work as it says,well I haven’t wasted to much money!

The build quality is top notch and looks and feels far more premium than I was expecting especially for the price.
The picture quality in day time is great, night vision is equally good.
Motion detection works well perhaps, too well as it’s sensing the wind moving the Christmas decorations outside, so perhaps tone it down a little.
My only other real criticism is the app is a little laggy and it would be nice to set a perimeter for activation for notifications.
Over all really pleased with the product the price you cannot argue with and the quality is great, I’m really interested now in the other products Nooie offer and will look at purchasing a few more.
This is a great outdoor 1080p camera, the camera came well packaged and in a recycled box! The contents consists of, a 3 pin usb plug camera with 10ft USB powered cable, wall mount, screws and wall plugs as well as cable clips. The installation is extremely straight forward. The instructions in both the manual and in the app was very easy to follow, making connecting the camera to your network simple and easy. The picture quality is something you would expect from a high end CCTV system in both day light and night vision, very similar to the nooie 360 and 1080p static cameras. The bullet camera uses the nooie app giving full options on motion detection and sound detection which works brilliantly. Build quality is brilliant and the sd card slot is nicely water tight. A fantastic addition to the other Nooie cameras that are in use around the house!

Great little stylish camera with a very clear, good quality picture. Very easy to set up and use via the app. It’s got a few nice functions on camera, I would be happier if the wire was longer as you only get about 9 feet plus be better if the wire was enclosed within the bracket, and as it’s a usb fitting you need to drill a 16mm hole to pass wire through. But still Very pleased with purchase.

The parcel arrived the day after it was ordered and packaged in a smart manner with minimal waste. The design of the camera itself is sleek and compact and certainly looks more expensive than it was.
I had read a number of reviews before ordering the camera that all discussed the technical specification of the device; I don’t have very much experience of this side of things and have very limited technical abitiy. In spite of this the set up was quick and simple and once I had orientated to app to personalise our settings the camera was ready to go.
As with the other indoor Nooie cams that we have in use (baby’s bedroom and dogs room) the picture quality is exceptional and the sound and motion detection via the app has been seemingly reliable.
This camera does all that it professes in its description and meets all the requirements of a bullet camera at a reasonable and very competitive price. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again and think they would make an excellent Christmas present!

This camera feels solid; is easy to install and set-up, and works Intuitively very well.

I’m so impressed with this outdoor CCTV camera from Nooie! The picture is really clear in both daylight and night vision and it’s so easy to view what’s going on in real time through the app.
It was really easy to assemble and install via the Nooie app – it took around 5 minutes! From the app you can view footage in real time and really easily take photos and videos directly to your phone. If you want to record continuously, you can either pay for cloud storage or just insert your own micro SD card. Also through the app there is a 2 way talk function so that you can talk to delivery drivers etc, and you can also set off a siren to deter unwanted intruders!
I love the design of this camera – it’s not an eye sore on the front of my house, and you can tilt the angle up and down as well as side to side, so you have lots of options when you come to fix it!
I’m really pleased with this product and have already recommended it to friends and family!
This Nooie camera is an affordable home security solution.
The camera is easy to install and set up with screws, wall plugs and cable clips provided in the box. Once set up in the desired location, the camera is a joy to use with HD picture quality and very good night vision. I have it set up overlooking the driveway to monitor the front of the house.

Very good picture quality and great night vision. Unfortunately motion detection is a bit extreme. The slightest bit of movement even rain drops set them off.
It took some time to install just because of our wall, but once it was up and running it worked perfectly! The night vision is very clear and you receive instant notifications when there’s movement ( I would recommend more movement than sound notifications as it’s very sensitive to sound and you receive tons of notifications when it’s foggy or rainy) also a picture from the actual camera( it’s lovely and clear ) all in all very happy!
Very impressed with the quality of construction, fitting is easy and I like the fixing bracket design which makes it easy to remove the camera if you know how, its also easy to adjust. Thethe day and night vision is excellent especially considering the relatively low cost of the unit. Setup was straightforward and the cameras work well with the app. Wifi seems very good, better than expected. I was so impressed I bought a second camera! Highly recommended product from Nooie.
Bought two of these cameras over a month ago. Very easy to fit and set up. I was impressed with the quality of the images and clarity of the entire picture. You can zoom in on your phone both live and on pictures taken. There is a slight delay on speech but not long enough to cause any problems. Put SD cards in which automatically record and retain when motion detected and automatically records over early recordings when the card is full. Good idea having sensitivity setting on the sensor to prevent unwanted activations, leaves blowing around etc and ability to set a time schedule for the sensor to be active so it sleeps at a set time to prevent unwanted recordings if you are regularly in the camera range during the day. Would definitely recommend and fantastic value for money. Really impressed. Thank you Nooie.
This camera works really well, I like how you can keep adding additional cameras as and when you need to, and they are so easy to install and link using the app. The quality of the image is very good, you can use a micro SD cars to record, so you don’t have to pay for cloud storage.
Here are some questions which may help;
1Is it normal for the camera to get very hot?
I have not noticed my camera getting hot, I have checked a few times and didn’t seem overly hot.
2Does the night vision turns on automatically?
Yes, night vision clicks in when the light starts to dim, I have tried switching the lights on and off, the camera switches between both very well.
3Can other people be given permission to access the cameras?
Yes, you both (all) download the app the ‘owner’ can give permission for someone else to access the cameras using their email address.
4Will Alexa announce movement when something passes by the camera? for example “movement detected in the garage”
Mine doesn’t, I get a notification of movement on the app, I can ask the echo show to show me the camera with motion detection and it will, having Alexa make announcement may be possible with some setting changes but I haven’t looked it to it as the app works really well.
5If there is a motion alert at night when you are sleeping, is there a sound from the app along with the alert so that it will wake you up hopefully?
Yes you can have the app make notifications, depending on your phone settings.
First of all let me start of saying it is a very rare occasion that I right reviews on products, I have only written couple of reviews this year as I only take the time to right reviews on truly great products that deserve reviews or very poor products!
I’ve had Nooie outdoor cameras for just over 3 months now to which I have tested the camera in all aspects & I am very impressed with them & Nooie’s support team themselves! The cameras arrived in great packaging with instructions & after opening the box & getting a first hand view of the camera it is smart looking & pleasing to the eyes. When it comes to setting up the cameras they are so easy to set up that you doing even need to read the instructions booklet a child could do it, just simply download the app go through the very simple steps on the app screen to set up the camera which easily is done in under 5 minutes & then your ready to use it. You can either pay for storage or use a sd micro card up to 128gb.
After setting up the camera I was impressed the the image quality but for me the true test comes with the night vision quality, motion detection & a reliable good stable connection over WiFi…this is because I have a neighbour from hell who is attacking my property & stealing my parcels day & night so I need good quality night vision & good stable reliable connection over WiFi to obtain footage that will be used as evidence with the police. I have to say I am very pleased to say that the motion detection & night vision is amazing & so is the connection over WiFi & if I’m honest I am surprised how good the quality of the camera is all round especially for the price that I ended up getting more cameras! The other great thing about the app with the camera is that obtaining pre-recorded footage is very quick & easy which again is import for me so I can pass it on to the police.
After buying a multiple cameras 1 of the cameras only wouldn’t connect (which every company at some point has had a faulty product) so I contacted Nooie support via email to inform them of & very surprisingly I got a reply to my email within 2 hrs apologising for the faulty camera while immediately sending me a replacement camera which I received within a few days & works superbly like all my other cameras. For after sales care & customer service I have to hand it to Nooie… it’s very rare that a company not only responds to your email easily within 2 hrs with an immediate resolution in such a timely manner, with many other companies or hat I’ve dealt with over the years take days & sometimes weeks yet Nooie took less than 2 hrs!
So for such a great product & for amazing after sales support & customer service I Nooie has my vote & I will recommend them highly to anyone!!!
I brought this to replace a HIVE outdoor cam which died after 18months and didn’t want to fork out 180 for a replacement.
I have to say the in terms of quality and functionality it matches the HIVE camera and I would say the night vision is better, only thing which could be better is that the lense could be zoomed out more or fish-eyed so you can get more of the picture in shot.
Installation and setup was easy and I’m very impressed I have saved myself 140 by choosing this.
Fantastic camera with superb clear pictures. Bought one previously and am even more impressed with this one! Affordable and has made me feel more able to watch the visitors to our property. Our garden remains private and any unwanted visitors will be caught!!! Very highly recommended.
Great quality camera for the price. Unit feels robust and the camera was very easy to set up. The picture quality seems very good and provides nice clear images. Just download app and add camera (mine done a firmware update) and your ready to install within minutes. Camera seems well waterproofed for outdoor use, the memory card slot is well protected with its own screw on cover. Do make sure and connect to your network before fitting outdoors as advised in instruction leaflet. App is very easy to use and overall I’m very impressed with this unit!
The product arrived quickly and well packaged, with clear installation instructions. Although I have not yet mounted it on an outside wall, I have used it inside in 2 locations. Set up was fairly straightforward and the picture quality good both in the daytime and using the UV nightvision.
2 suggestions for improving this product would be to incorporate a customizeable detection area facility, and to use a micro USB plug ( easier for drilling through walls, as smaller hole required ).
Overall I’m very satisfied with the product and would recommend it as good value for money.
We already have the indoor 360 camera to keep an eye on the dog when we are not there and it’s great so when we seen Nooie also did an outdoor camera it was a no brainer.
We are using it to cover the back garden as our fence backs onto a car park so have wanted to sort some video security for a while.
The camera arrived a day after ordering and packaged perfectly. The box includes the camera, fixings and power lead/plug. Just a case of fixing to the wall and drilling through to plug into the mains.
The picture is brilliant. I was hoping it lived up to the 360 indoor camera and it does!! Day and night mode are both brilliant quality and the microphone allows for any noise to be picked up.
I have a cloud account so can view both my indoor and outdoor camera via the same app and can also allow others (the wife) to view the same feeds.
If you’re after an outdoor camera then look no further than this.

Have tested this at night and during the day and the quality is spot on, although before I have purchased via brand I thought I would give this a go and would definitely recommend. With all cameras the true test is at night to see the clarity of the image and I cannot fault it its not blurry or pixelated

Purchased a Nooie Cam outdoor (after extensive research) to keep an eye on my driveway and front door. Item arrived next day, in simple and effective packaging. Really pleased with the initial look and feel of the item and all parts for fitting were included. Plenty of length in the cable plug to meet my needs. Found it very easy to download the app and set up the camera and the app has simple and effective ways to control and view the footage. I’ve got to say the clarity in both day and night is excellent and the motion and noise detection are sensitive and can be altered as desired. The option of using an SD card that works on a loop or the ability to pay for the subscription (reasonably priced) is great. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend.
I was really impressed with the camera picture quality, it’s crisp and clear, would say perfect enough for looking over the driveway. No issues with connectivity, when I need to log in and look at my driveway remotely, it connects. To be honest I was not expecting much but it surpassed my expectations. Excellent Camera for the Price – It’s going to be hard to beat.
I bought my first Nooie outdoor camera in June as it seemed to be very good value compared to its competitors. I enjoyed it so much that I bought a second last week.
This is a great introduction to outdoor cameras – i was put off by the cost of the ‘big-brands’, but this is an affordable option and i’ve recommended it to my friends

Three things I’ll review: The camera, app and the company.
Hardware is excellent! Just a great build. I live in London and it rained a lot and was really windy these past few months, and it’s a bit dusty now because it’s been up there a few months – but no problems at all! Below are somethings I’ve enjoyed.
– Great night vision
– Sensitive motion detection
– Great video quality
– There’s a theft-deterrent alarm that you can manually turn on and it gets really loud – it’s worked a few times already when we had people peaking around
– Customized detection zone so you can exclude cars and light changes etc. – this comes in really handy.
The very best thing I love about this camera is that unlike the other leading security cameras this one has a micro sd card slot. Which means you don’t have to pay additional money to subscribe to a cloud service. But if you want to you can subscribe to their cloud service.
App is great and always improving! The app was a bit clunky at first but it’s really smooth and straight forward now with very easy shifting though different recordings. The app allows for you to format the micro sd card remotely as well which is excellent. Now that I have two of these – I can stream both cameras simultaneously which is great because I get the full view of what’s happening around the house. I thought this was a very thoughtful upgrade. Last point on the app, as mentioned they’re constantly improving it, and you can see the comments you make on the app being applied.
This connects to my last point – the brand. I’ve since used their smart-plugs and now thinking about getting their light bulbs. This is only because they have (1) integrated everything into one app which is the way it should be of course, but still good to mention (2) they try everything to make sure you have a good experience with their products with a very responsive customer service (3) their products are simply designed well – which goes to show they aren’t doing this as a one-time cash opportunity.
And it’s affordable!
Overall I would strongly recommend this camera and anything from this brand.
Great quality, motion detection is really good, I have it on medium setting (there is three) and notifies me straight to my app any movement, night vision enables same notification, was surprised at the quality at night and can’t fault it. Picture quality is fantastic same as indoors, I have screen shot of app attached showing inside and out, same quality. Would recommend so much that thinking about adding more to me home, just fab

Recording via memory card or Nooie cloud. Download the straight forward Nooie app which can also have other cameras added.
Notifications of motion detected and continuous recording functions also, which gives peace of mind.
Overall this camera makes me feel at ease, as I can check the exterior of my house whilst I’m out and feel safe if anything goes wrong then I will have footage.
Decent product for the money. Haven’t had any issues with pairing. Picture quality and frame rate better than expected. I have the outdoor cam placed outside and haven’t had any network issues. Time will tell if it’s weatherproof. The usb lead is about 5m long and you cannot remove it from the camera end, you have to feed the usb through a hole in the wall etc
This is a great outdoor security camera, especially for the price!
I haven’t mounted mine outdoors yet as I live on the second floor and need to find a tall ladder, but the camera comes with everything you need to mount outdoors including cable grips.
The quality is great (HD 1080P) and the night vision is just what you want from an outdoor security camera. There’s also some added bonuses that you wouldn’t expect for a camera so cheap such as a security alarm that you can sound to deter criminals and clear two way audio.
You can view the camera on the app or via Alexa smart home devices and you can save video to the cloud or to an sd card (make sure you get a waterproof one).
All in all, I am beyond impressed with this little waterproof security camera that is a great addition to any household
I got this camera on Thursday and set it up the same day . I already own the indoor camera and wasn’t let down by this outdoor camera . The quality of the camera is fantastic and and it’s clear and fully meets my needs of keeping the house safe . For the price of the camera I was expecting it to be of lower quality but have found this easy to fit and of a high quality standard. If you need a outdoor cctv at a low price ,this is the one to buy
I brought this camera because I’ve previously brought the 360 and a few 1080p cameras for the inside and needed an outdoor one and I’m not disappointed at all picture quality is good day and night even better if you have outdoor lighting the app is simple to use and you can recorded straight to your device ! The two way mic and speaker is clear you can have a conversation over it just as you was speaking to them at the door. Will definitely get a few more highly recommend
The camera design and finishing looks good. The camera set-up using the app is straightforward and the quality of the footage of good quality. Packaging and instructions are well above other similar price cameras, and so far I am quite pleased with the price-quality. The USB power lead is a bit short, so likely you will need an extension cable to be able to place the camera in a strategic spot. The quality of the audio is acceptable, and the power of the speaker in the camera is OK, but it will be a great improvement to make it louder. Another neat improvement will be adding a battery, so there is no need to run the power cable to the nearest plug and gives much more flexibility to add a couple cameras around the house. I have a Nooie baby monitor and so far really happy with it, so I expect this camera to be as good as the other. I think is a good investment for a security camera.

Really easy to setup and quick. (make sure you put on 2.4ghz wiifi).
Picture quality is crystal clear and you can view when away from the house which is a bonus.

I am really impressed with this camera, especially at such a low cost. I was concerned initially as i thought i may have trouble with it reaching my WiFi hub from outside, on the other side of the house, but I needn’t have worried it picks up a signal with out a problem. I already have two of the indoor 360 deg cameras and this is just as good. They all work off one app, that is so easy to use. I have had to adjust the sensitivity on the sound and motion, and set times when I want notifications , so it doesn’t alert me all the time, but this is so easy to do with the app. I think it’s great that you can speak to people through it just like the doorbell and that you can view at anytime on your mobile phone. I purchased a micro SD so I can look back and save my recordings and so I don’t have to buy cloud space. I also like the fact that they are EU approved as hacking was a worry for me. I would definitely recommend this outdoor security camera it works just as well as more expensive models, if not better.
Easy to set up. Good clear picture day and night. The cable is only 10ft so not the longest. You can’t choose different zones for motion so the camera picks up everything in view. Monthly cloud fee starting at 2.90 or use a micro sd card. Overall a good value package.
If you’re looking for a camera for live viewing or scanning back through footage this is great. Its let down by its motion detection. Even on its low sensitivity setting it picks up everything including rain and insects. I woke up to over 400 notifications all triggered by firstly insects then rain. The app is great and with a sd card no monthly fees for footage storage.
The camera not only looks great, with a sleek well-designed and modern casing, but it also fulfills all of my expectations of a security camera in this price range. The night vision is the stand out feature on this camera, I am able to see the environment clearly.
Setting up and adding the additional camera into the nooie app was also really straight forward. The addition of the SD card means that you can record footage locally (removing the expense of the cloud service).
The app itself is very easy to use, it’s simple to change the alert settings. Another great feature is that the alert notification works flawlessly on my Android phone, on other (much more expensive) devices I have encountered issues with alerts not being very promptly.
I am really pleased with the camera, it had all the features you would expect and performs brilliantly.
Can’t fault it really, well made, good picture – great night vision. Motion detection notifications are great for deliveries etc. SD card storage is really handy if using it as e.g outdoor pet/animal cam (not much use as security if they take the camera!)
Only thing I can take away from it is that the lead could be a bit longer, but no issues really to run an extension cable
Purchased this outdoor camera as we currently have the Nooie indoor ones (for keeping an eye on the puppy when we are out) which we are very happy with & like the idea that we can connect the new camera to the existing app. Arrived quickly & simple to set up, just pressed + camera on the app & it does it all for you. Picture quality is excellent even in dark mode, has added siren, & talk function as well as being able to snap a picture & video mode. Easy to mount & has only been up two days but so far it’s survived some torrential rain so seems to be waterproof. Very happy with the product,& I’m thinking about purchasing another.
For the price the camera is well build, the picture quality is good enough during the day and night with the added benefit of two way audio which is really handy.
The negative is only that you have to drill a hole the size for the USB to go through to put into a plug for power. But you can fill up the whole with filler and paint accordingly.
Also you have to pay for subscription if you require recording.
Wow… where to begin? After having owned (and returned) various outdoor security cameras in the past, I’ve got to say that this is by FAR the best product I have owned. The picture quality is fantastic, even at 15fps, there is not any noticable lag. 15fps also means that videos do not take up too much space! Setting it up was an absolute doddle, simply unbox, turn it on, open the app and connect to WiFi… now this was this cool bit – the app will generate a QR code which you need to hold infront of the camera, which will be scanned & will pair your phone to the camera! Literally took 1 minute! Night vision is fantastic, seriously. The fact you can have local storage is brilliant (just insert a 128gb SD card )- saves you paying for cloud storage! And I must say, it is very aesthetically pleasing – it’s very minimal, build quality is fantastic, very sleek and good quality materials. Without naming names, it is the spitting image of another outdoor security camera at three times the price – owned by an internet giant & something birds might sleep in. If you get my gist.
The two-way walk feature is perfect, and a nice little touch was the alarm! Simply press a button on your phone and the camera will begin to flash and play an alert sound.
The best selling feature for me was the rotational axis. Previous security cameras I’ve owned tend to only allow one direction of panning (either left & right, or up & down), where as this camera sits on more of a ‘ball and socket’ type joint – allowing you to point it which ever way angle you desire! Perfect for getting the optimal view, which at 110 seems to cover most areas!
The only niggle for me was the motion dection. Other cameras will allow you to ‘box off’ different motion areas, meaning that only these sections are mointored. For example, you could select your driveway and exclude the road, so that you are only notified if there is movement on your drive. With Nooie, you can not. This means that if you want the motion dection notifications turned on, everytime someone walks up the road, or a car drives past, or a cat legs it across the road, your phone will ping. Obviously, you can just angle your camera to only include the driveway, but I wanted to the road in view to catch and potential getaway drivers! They say that you can alter the sensitivitity from low, medium & high. I have personally found this makes no difference.
All in all, a fantastic product, brilliant build quality with some nifty little features. I would 100% reccomend this! Do it!

Use it to keep an eye on the garden shed and front door when I’m not home.
Got notifications each time something/somebody’s passing by and with the double audio you can even talk to the postman/delivery guy. Great feature!

It can be quite annoying trying to buy things on Amazon for your Google Home setup because everything is marketed to work with Alexa, but it can be hard to find what works with Google Home. Thankfully, this device DOES work with Google Home and set up is a piece of cake. I actually had the nooie app already for another device I had purchased from the same company, so this made set up even easier.
I can watch the feed on my phone as you would expect, but even better is that I can watch it on my Google Hub upstairs.I can also use Google Assistant to turn on the stream, so it is completely hands free. This is super convenient when I am in bed and hear someone downstairs, as I can check who it is without having to get out of bed or even pick up my phone!
Great outdoor camera.
I have this set up to look after my workshop and it’s contents looking down the drive. It picks up everything in the vicinity in great detail regardless or day or night and you can make out a car number plate at night around 6 meters away which is useful for me.
The app is a little buggy some times but is generally very useful with both sound and/or movement detection which, so far, seems very reliable in notifying me.
Make sure you have a 2.4ghz or dual band WiFi router for this to work!
Great camera for such a competitive price. I was apprehensive about buying nooie as ive never heard of the brand unlike nest but no be honest its just as good and ive saved a fortune.
What is not to like! Crisp video, excellent visibility in the dark, options for local or cloud storage, and it was a breeze to set up. We have their indoor cameras too which are excellent, and this outdoor camera matches up to those in terms of functionailty and quality. Definitely offers good peace of mind with the motion tracking and recordings too, and the cherry on the cake is that they look great too – which is hard to find!
