I work for an events company who frequently bring actors over from the states for the weekend to attend comic cons. I’ve lost count of the number of these that I’ve bought to meet the needs of American actors who seem incapable of adulting when coming to the UK to pose for photos and sign autographs. There’s invariably at least one actor at every event who didn’t stop to think that all their electronics might need a recharge whilst in the UK and these have saved the day multiple times.
They work perfectly, so much so that I never get any of them back (apart from the time I shamed someone into returning one) so its just as well they’re reasonably economic to buy.
He lives in US and plugs everything in when he’s here. Second time I’ve bought these (2 weren’t enough). They are excellent quality.
It was what I wanted my purchase was an American plug which doesn’t work in the UK
Up to now it has never missed a beat.
Recently returned to the UK from the USA. Did not have enough converters these did the job nice and easy and are even fuse protected!
I love it very good in design and it seems good quality as well
This is one of the best adaptors I’ve used.
Unlike other ones, the connection is solid and not loose.

Got a new shaver but we have not got a shaver plug socket in the bathroom, so we needed one of these for this.
Also already been used for holidays.
The box came with 2 plugs and a little travel back if needed.
The price at the time of this review is 10.99 which is a little high as you can buy the for a fraction of the price in a local shop. But these do come with a warranty and lifetime support.

Got for a product that arrived with an american plug, but multi-voltage, should have been in the box!
I recently got an air purifier that annoyingly came with a US mains adapter and although I have a multi-travel adapter that I was able to use to try it out, it is quite bulky so I picked up this 2 pack of adapters from dapter.
The plugs are definitely not quite as bulky as my multi-country one (they are pretty much a standard sized UK plug, with the exception of the depth, as they are fairly deep at around 4.1cm).
They come fitted with a 10 Amp fuse and have a maximum load rating of around 2500 Watts and can accept both Type A and Type B US plugs.

I have to say that these adapters do seem to be of good quality and are not made of flimsy plastic like some are. They have a good solid feel and a reasonable weight to them, further adding to that feeling of a quality product.
It is worth noting that these adapters do not convert US voltage (120v) to UK voltage of 240v, so you need to carefully check that the item you wish to plug in, can be used on 240v or you risk causing a fire or damaging the item.
I think the price of 10.99 is pretty reasonable for 2 high quality adapters with an 18 month warranty and you even get a handy little storage bag.
Its a v good quality product slightly over priced i guess but satisfied. Definitely recommended.
We don’t have many things with US plugs. But we do occasionally need adapters of this US to UK type. So this pair is handy to have.
I have an electrical appliance from Canada that need to be converted with this adapter. There are two plugs in the box, which are easy to plug and unplug, and there’s no problem with their use at present. People who like to travel to the United States or Australia can bring this adaptor, which can solve your troubles. Their quality is great in appearance, but the price of 11 seems a bit high.
