    Great value oven.
It functions the same way as my old one. There are ample programme and the skin line shape conceal a family sized 23cm glass plate. Grill function is excellent. I would say it is the best for a combi oven/micro and very good looking. Easy to wipe down too.

Best Microwave convection oven & grill.
Brought this in the Black Friday Deals to replace a similar model that just stopped working. Very happy with Panasonic microwave convection oven & grill, Amazon had the lowest price so good value for a appliance that is used daily.

Panasonic Easy to use Combination Microwave.
I purchased this microwave to replace previous Panasonic, which I had for 12 years, so hopefully will be just
as reliable. The features are virtually the same as the old machine but with a few extras. The 30sec press button
is very useful and the programme numbers help with auto roast and auto cook. The timer add is good too.
The only downside(which is why I gave it 4 stars] is the press buttons are a little faint to read, particularly in
low light, otherwise enjoying using this machine.

Big fan of the Panasonic combi microwaves. This is my 3rd in about 10 years, gets lots of use and I like the fact that it is compact, nice design, and very efficient. Highly recommend.

Really excellent microwave. Stylishly thin. Powerful. Flexible. Amazing what it can do, and I am learning its various programs. Only negative is complexity. I guess you can’t have versatility without complexity. But, eg, a one-touch cook button would have been great. Don’t let that put you off. Excellent, tardis-like machine – small on the outside, big on the inside, and heartily recommended.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLovely, versatile machine with a small footprint for the internal dimensions
Purchased this to replace our old, faltering microwave, and really do not regret it one bit. All three of it’s main modes (microwave, oven, grill) work perfectly. We have a large oven, but use this one for things like paninis/hot buns, or quick grilled veggies for lunch so we don’t use the energy to use the entire oven. Equally for small baking projects like brownies it’s fantastic! The interface is easy and intuitive, and the footprint is fantastic for the huge amount of internal space provided. Recommended!

The only downside I’ve found so far is that you have to be extremely careful to not have anything spit in this oven, as the ceiling is pretty much uncleanable. It has a small grating, if anything splatters through you’ll never be able to get it off again. As long as you microwave everything covered in some (pieced!) cling film or a slightly offset lid however, you should be perfectly fine!

The microwave comes with a short power lead so you need a power point immediately behind the unit otherwise you will need an extension lead

This is the third one of these ovens I’ve had over a number of years, they are not as deep as many so sit nicely on a worktop. They are very powerful with a good oven and cooking options. I don’t use the grill as it tends to burn things if you aren’t careful.

    Can’t Fault it.
Upgrade from last Panasonic. Can’t fault it. Cooks perfectly. Instructions easy to understand. A few reviews stating that it doesn’t have a 800 power outage. Simply decrease the time. There are plenty of conversions online. I just decrease initially by about 10 seconds if having to use the 900 power setting.

All in all a great replacement and would highly recommend.

My previous Panasonic microwave was brilliant and, when I needed a replacement, I didn’t hesitate to get another. This new model is proving to be an excellent choice. Simply great.

This is the second Panasonic microwave oven that I purchased. It’s great.
Although it cost the same as it’s older version and has some new automated controls, I don’t feel the finish is as pleasing.
I have just used the automated setting for heating a pizza for the second time. I didn’t realise it went through an oven preheat first. Last time I criticised the oven for leaving my pizza’s middle cold. I had only heated the pizza in the preheat cycle and shouldn’t have put it in until after this was completed and then added it’s weight. This time the pizza came out perfect.
Microwave and combination cooking can also be set manually.
Although I have had this a few months now and use it daily I have still yet to use most of its automated functions.

    Similar layout/functions to previous model
This is our 3rd Panasonic microwave.
Previous to this model had a few issues with having to pull plug out of socket wait 3 mins then plug in again…weird! Bit the dust after 3 years..replaced fuse & still did not work.
This model is v similar layout with the controls so that’s why we went for it.
Was not prepared to pay 30 more just for silver colour!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersClosest spec we could find to our previous model. Very good - but still preferred the previous one.
We bought this model to replace the Panasonic NN-CF778SBPQ, which we had given up the ghost after years of good service. Ideally we would have preferred to simply buy a new version of the same model, but, as that wasn’t an option, we looked for something that appeared to match the overall specification as much as possible.

We preferred the look of our previous model – it looked more like an oven than a typical microwave. We also preferred the “pull down” door over the side opening door, as we find it makes better and more convenient use of space. We also preferred the capacious nature of the flat bed in our previous model to the turntable in this one.

However, this model does seem to cook more efficiently than our previous model, which may well be down to having a turntable rather than a flat bed. Consequently, we are able to reduce cooking times and / or cooking temperatures to deliver an equivalent result.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersDoes the job
We sent the first one back because the hinge on the door was creaking and sounded as if it was going to, at some time, snap. Within 24 hours it was collected and the following day, a replacement arrived. That was good service.
This one has started to make a creaking noise from the door hinge too, so I am beginning to think it has something to do with heat build up.
It’s our second Panasonic. The previous one lasted us about 15 years, with no creaking sounds from the door hinges at all. We only replaced it because the interior light failed and we decided to replace the old model. My guess is that this one won’t last anywhere near as long. Nevertheless, it’s working well for now and for the reduced price, we are happy with it.

My old 25 yr old microwave decided it were working anymore, so I got one of these things as I have to do the kitchen up and will also be be without an oven. I now get hot microwave food, plus … I can time the grilling and cooking to stop and ping when ready. Magic – haven’t burnt anything since I got it. Strangely there’s no stale burnt taste to my convection/grilling cooking anymore, but I’m sure someone could sell me a flavouring.

Easy to use, tho had had a similar one previously. Lots of instructions and some combinations of cooking , I don’t think I would attempt. Fast and straightforward for everyday use including roast chicken but have to remember the ‘first ping’ which indicates only half way through cooking. Fam have been caught out with this and thought the cooking time was ended. Ruined a few desserts this way and could easy give food poisoning if all users are not informed of this.

Great microwave, but kills my Wi-Fi...!
I don’t often change my appliances but when my old combination microwave oven developed control panel issues and became difficult to use, I decided to replace it with a Panasonic NN-CT54JWBPQ inverter combination microwave oven. I was pleased to find that whilst the Panasonic has a similar footprint to my old oven, it has more interior space and certainly cooks well – however I have a couple of side-issues with it, namely that when cooking the door mists up internally and whilst the oven is in operation it wipes out my wifi signal, something that my old oven never did. The first issue is just an annoyance but I use WiFi in the kitchen for radio (and online/catchup TV) so it matters to me. If these issues doesn’t affect you then I can thoroughly recommend the Panasonic NN-CT54JWBPQ combination microwave oven.

This is my third Panasonic combination microwave. I left one in a house I rented out after using it for eight years, and my last one was 10 years old and served me very well until a baguette caught fire inside. I bought a different make to replace it a year ago but I couldn’t work it. Kenwood you disappointed me. So when I saw this one on sale a couple of weeks ago, I sold the Kenwood and bought this one. Pure bliss. It’s a fabulous machine, oh how I’ve missed it this last year. It does exactly as it should, the controls are easy to work. It’s the best thing since sliced bread. Buy this, even at full price it’s absolutely worth it. I cook everything from scratch and this makes my life so easy. Perfect roast beef using the combination oven and microwave. Everything cooks perfectly. Weigh your chicken thighs, and they cook perfectly too, it’s all worked out for you according to the weight you’re cooking. Thank you Amazon and Panasonic, I’m a very happy woman again.

Grill brilliant…. Microwave brilliant…. Combination Modes brilliant…. Programs brilliant…. Build Quality brilliant…. Instructions and ease of use…. brilliant.

That’ll do it I think, fantastic and highly recommended.

Easy to use, quiet and cooks very well.
This device is very easy to use with good-sized buttons. The microwave cooks very evenly and is much better than a Morphy Richards microwave I had previously. A pouch of rice cooked perfectly in two minutes and it was obvious that the cooking was very even. The rice was nice and fluffy. It reheats food very well indeed; quickly, evenly and to temperature.

I have also used the oven as an extra to our main ones and and it heats plates up well and also cooks food well.

I really wish I had bought this before now.

    Combination oven...
I am very happy with the appearance and features of this product although I have not yet used it as a convector oven. I need a little more time with the book to brave myself into using this feature. My biggest disappointment was the delivery by Amazon. I suffer from a chronic lung condition in addition to macular sight problems and being 75 yrs old. Nevertheless the delivery men refused to lift the item inside my home into the desired place where I wanted it (3 metres). Apparently Amazon have a ruling that delivery men must not enter any property which means that in future I shall never order anything of a large or heavy description.

    Good Microwaves
Bought this as our other similar Panasonic bust, we’d had it a few years. We did try another model first before this but the noise was incredible. So we took that back and ordered this as we’ve had about four of these over the years. Just wish they would last longer, the microwave bit tends to give up and that’s it. But they do last a while but not long enough. Cooks well and quite versatile and reasonably quiet.

Better than expected, haven’t used all options yet. Even my hubby can use it. Recommend it.

Good oven, single grill and a great looking oven.
Just received this week. So an early review after a fair amount of research. It’s my second inverter multi functional microwave combination oven. By Panasonic. This one is small than my previous Panasonic 40lt. It’s a good size inside and very smart looking. Very similar programs to my last one so I am familiar with it. Although I have made a point to checked some functions and the guide as its been a few years since I looked at the operating instructions.

One minor niggle I have noted for the would be purchaser –
It is very lightweight and initially moved whenever I pressed the door open so have a rubber mat under to grip it in place. I hadn’t placed it directly against a wall.

Good Oven, single grill and multi choice pre-programmed menu.

Larger inside than you may think.
Firstly this is a very nice mirowave in white, and a good bit cheaper than the silver one. This is the one i am reviewing. Model NN-CT54JW stainless steel interior looks very up market compared to others, these type of microwaves are supposedly sold as a 3 in 1. Microwave, Oven, and grill. Although i think the Oven as a convection oven is maybe not the same as an electric oven in a normal cooker. This one uses the grill function together with a fan to mimic an electric oven, i think i have that right, which is OK, as long as this set up works, which in my opinion it does. I tried a large size pizza using the oven, and it tasted just as good as my normal electric oven. The glass turntable is a massive 34 cm across, a lot larger than my previous one, which was just a microwave, its handy to have the different cooking options available if you need them.

The operation of all the buttons, and what each press will do, had me a bit worried at first, my last one just had 2 knobs, which was very simple, i tried one of these digital type ones years ago, but changed it for a simpler one, as i could not make sense of all the buttons, it was too much of a headache. but luckily before i bought this one, i knew exactly how to work each button, and what each press will do, as i saw a video on you tube by Lords Electrical, a 9 minute video with the guy showing every operation of the buttons in a very simple and understandable way, watched it twice and i could make sense of everything this microwave has to offer before it arrived. I highly recommend watching this video if the digital touch pad with all those buttons start to feel like the deck of the star ship Enterprize. Just search for this make and model on you tube, and this video should show up, although he uses the silver one to describe the operation of this machine.

As some reviewers have said, their is a small judder in the turntable, nothing to worry about, as it does not affect the cooking at all, something to keep in mind though. Size wise, it is a large interior, without taking up much room on the countertop, similar makes are far more deeper in size, as others have said the power cord is fairly short 90cm or so, fitted on the right side of the machine as you look at it from the front, perfect in my case, but they could have made it a bit longer. If you are use to just a microwave on its own like my last one, then you need to know that when this one is finished cooking the motor stays on for a couple of minutes or so after you take out your food and close the door, a bit disconcerting at first, but this is normal with this microwave.

There are a myriad of makes and models of these microwaves for sale, as panasonic have a good name for breadmakers, i thought i would try this one, so far i am glad i did, it feels well made, stainless steel interior looks very clean and professional, you can clearly see whats cooking inside, a good bright light, and a gleaming white colour will look good in most kitchens, if i need to change my review of this microwave, i will update it if something goes wrong, which i am hoping, will not be any time soon. again i highly recommend watching the Lords Electircal video on you tube, i may not have bought this make and model if i did not find that video.

It replaces its predecessor that I bought over 20 years ago. So glad that virtually the same model is still available. What I would miss most are the jacket potatoes that are so quick to cook in it. It’s easy to use and I don’t understand reviewers that found it noisy (it certainly is not) or that comment on jerky movements of the turntable (it just needs to be let to fall into the right slots).

Having owned the same Panasonic Micro for 20 years, I was not surprised when it finally gave in. However, when I ordered and received new but similar Panasonic item, I was disappointed about the noise and also a mechanical fault with the turntable. But all was not lost. After contacting Amazon concerning my disappointment the micro was immediately replaced and to my delight all problems were solved. Very pleased and look forward to the next 20 years with Panasonic.

Our previous microwave that went faulty was a Panasonic and I thought it was a reliable machine with all of the features that we needed from a microwave. I wanted to stick to a Panasonic because of the previous reliability so I knew what I was getting. This new Panasonic microwave has all the features of our old model and is a bonus because it has a grill built in. My sons use our microwave ten times more than me. So far, they are fully satisfied with this new machine. Youngest son Calvin says the door on this one sounds more sophisticated than our previous model so he’s impressed.

Compact Microwave but Full Sized Capacity
Well designed combination microwave. Very versatile and takes full size plates. Compact overall size means it will fit into even a small workspace. {Recommend you check out the model number on the manufacturer’s website first, download the manual and check positioning guidance before purchase.} Upgrade on previous model that was grubby from use but still in good working condition and donated elsewhere. This newer model has all the same excellent attributes as it’s predecessor. It even has options to enable young (or not so young) novice cooks to fend for themselves rather than just rely on “bing-bong” meals although it does them too.

Bought to replace a similar Panasonic that died after only 3 years, but that had replaced a Panasonic that was still going well after 20 years and stayed with a previous house, so hopefully the last one was an aberration. Does a couple of baked potatoes beautifully in about 15 mins. Plenty of programs, few of which I’ve used. Happy with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 36 From Our UsersHappy but I was confused
As just farthest, one of the two heating bars, in the top of the inside on this oven, behind the protective stainless steel lining, ever glows orange with heat. I thought the first one I received was faulty, but the replacement was exactly the same (sorry Amazon) so I kept the first one and returned the replacement as it had noise issues. Otherwise, I love this product, the inverter power does seem to prevent microwave heating hot spots and I am confident that I am using a fraction of the electricity to heat than with my big oven or grill for a measly frozen croissant. You don’t have to wait for the grill to reach the temperature either. I love the evenly spread browning too and being able to have it up at surface top height. Goes perfectly with my Panasonic inverter fridge freezer 🙂

    Price great , Quality Suspec
I had bought this microwave to replace a 10 Year old Panasonic that had given excellent service.
It was easy to set up and I followed the instructions to use the convection oven for 5 mins to get rid of any factory oil.
However the unit sounded like it had a loose part and had a very noisy rattle… I used it for 3 weeks with no issues unless I used the convection oven which continued to sound very very noisy. It was so bad it made me think twice about using it.
I then reported the problem to Amazon Customer Service who replied in 10 minutes. They advised they would send a replacement unit out immediately. This was amazing service and I cannot be more pleased with their response.
The replacement as arrived and the Oven Function is quiet as I would have expected.
Will this oven last as long I am not sure as i think that items these days are built to a price and not quality.

Golden Review Award: 279 From Our UsersAmazing! A truly flexible cooking device.
If I had to pick one piece of kitchen equipment which I could take with me to a desert island, it would have to be this microwave. Not only does it do all the standard microwave things, but it also has a convection oven and a grill function as well!

If all you use your microwave for is heating your dinner up when you’re late back from a day at the office, then this unit is probably overkill. If however, you want to be able to do everything from defrosting sausages to roasting a joint of meat, to baking a carrot cake, to grilling toast – then you may have come to the right place.

One thing I will say (and this may seem obvious) is that you really should read the manual quite carefully. Depending on the mode of cooking you select – you may or may not need to supplement the glass turntable with an included elevated wire rack and/or enamel platter. If you don’t use the correct combination of accessories, you risk sub-optimal results or even breakage.

Apart from the number of cooking modes, it’s important to realise that the way the Panasonic microwave works is fundamentally different to the way other manufacturers’ microwaves work. All other microwaves are essentially like a light switch – the magnetron (the element which generates the microwaves) is either 100% on or 100% off. If you select 60% power, the magnetron will switch on 100% for 6 seconds and off for 4 seconds, and repeat this until the timer ends. Obviously when you’re trying to cook something like a sauce or scrambled eggs, this is a big problem – you really do need fine control over the power rather than just intermittently blasting it at full power.

The Panasonic inverter takes the 50Hz mains electricity and converts it into a form of electricity which can be controlled more like a light dimmer switch – rather than alternately blasting full power, you really can generate microwaves at 10%, 27%, 30%, 44%, 60% or 100% power constantly throughout the cooking cycle. This give much more control, and helps to avoid things accidentally over-cooking.

It really does work very well, and gives you a great amount of control – the only challenge you’ll find is remembering all the multifarious modes and methods you have at your disposal. This is not a problem – I think it’s just a case of gradually increasing your proficiency with it over time. There are enough pre-programmed automated cooking modes that you can simply pick a food type from the menu, select a weight, and have the oven cook it automatically.

Size wise, the turntable is a very generous 34cm in diameter, which is plenty large enough for even the largest of dinner plates. And the depth of the unit is only just a tad larger than the turntable. This means that you can shove it back against the wall, and it won’t eat up the entirety of your worktop. It looks smart, and the controls are all wipe-clean, as is the stainless interior.

Altogether a very clever machine indeed, and with the sophisticated technology built-in, well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 124 From Our UsersThis is the microwave/combi I have been looking fo
Many years ago I had a combi/ microwave and I loved it, it broke down after a lot of use but circumstances dictated that I hadn’t got another of its standard ,my current combi wasn’t that user friendly and the baking/grilling element was of the exposed kind (not good for cleaning).
This one is more like my old appliance but so much better and easy to use.Yes there are a lot of functions and you will need the manual close to hand for a while until you get to know all it’s functions (there are many) but what I have used it for so far has cooked the food to perfection.
The auto settings for frozen pizza produced a well cooked, soft based tasty meal and in a family of shift workers you need an appliance that can cook or re-heat meals without using the large standard oven 4 times a day.
The interior is completely stainless steel with a concealed element and oven fan and it comes complete with a glass turntable ,steel oven tray and a wire rack..

The best thing about the unit is the display where the clock is displayed also gives helpful instructions to help navigate through the different functions which does make everything just that bit easier to learn how to use it.
The microwave itself cooks very well and heats evenly throughout the food and with the new inverter technologie the power is totally adjustable.
The manual itself is very comprehensive right down to an explanation as to how microwaves cook your food and includes recipes, reheating charts, cooking charts,9 auto roast programmes,8 auto cook programmes and 8 junior menu programmes. there are instructions for using the timer, multi stage cooking, combination grill and microwave , convection and microwave and how to defrost (manualy and chaos auto defrost), in fact I don’t think there is a thing this manual under decribes or misses out.
This unit will be used multiple times throughout the day and I expect it will save quite a bit on electricity bills in my house .it would also be good in student digs or bedsits and is a good overflow oven for christmas or anytime you need more oven space
Off to try out some more of the recipes

Golden Review Award: 121 From Our UsersThis is the microwave/combi I have been looking fo

This is the more recent model of the one I had that packed up. Easy to use, very even cooking. I use the convection oven a lot and am very happy with results. Came well packed and delivery was prompt.
