I ordered this item to replace a similar model. It is a joy to use, not complicated. Perfect baked potato in 12 minutes! Saves me time and money. Everything I try comes out perfect.

Takes time to read through literature, but it works and the food is nicely cooked/reheated etc. One small concern the inside of the door misted up when using the auto roast programme, so may get this checked out. Otherwise everything seems OK. Very versatile and useful piece of equipment. Cheaper alternative from using the gas oven?
My 20+ year old Panasonic microwave - why change makes?
My last Panasonic microwave was over 20 years old and still great if the door hadn’t broken.
Fantastic wish every kitchen appliance was as good.. haven’t had a conventional oven since I’ve had my microwave.

I love my combi/ microwave so easy to use and cooks meals faster than previous combination ovens I have had. Stylish and looks good. Worth the money and Panasonic was a company with a reputal name. Cottage pie even crisps without the use of grill feature.
We tried to register a Panasonic microwave . ,surprise the warranty is just for 1 year without option to extend . That’s means they know the product is not good one ! Not even Amazon would offer the extend one . I’m not sure regarding the features .
Nice build quality, very solid construction with nicely polished surfaces. The microwave mode heats very evenly. The oven mode and grill are also pretty good – especially with convection.
The display is not the typical LED segment display – it’s some kind of very low quality LCD with a green backlight that is always on. The display is hard to read, and you have to be at eye level or it looks milky.
The user interface is absolutely horrific. Unintuitive, inconsistent, and I haven’t been able to find any usual conveniences like single touch to add to the existing cook time. Pressing any time increment button during cooking does nothing; instead you have to wait for it to finish then press a separate “add time” button then press the actual +minute or +second button. Infuriating! But this seems to be the state of modern microwaves in general.

I do like this microwave but the bulbs blown and Panasonic expect me to hike it across town to a service company Babber who have not responded to my email, and Panasonic refuse to give me the part number.
I had my other Panasonic Combination Microwave for many years when lately suddenly the microwave packed up so had to get another combination microwave. I am pleased with the new Panasonic I bought however I am slightly disappointed that with the new one, unlike my old one, you cannot use the convention and microwave together at the same time which was good for doing jacket potatoes. The new one doesn’t have this particular facility. The manual does tell you how to do jacket potatoes but it’s not the same. Now I have to microwave the potatoes separately so the inside gets done then either grill the skin or roast it. Takes longer and a bit of a palaver. So only 4 stars.
This combination microwave seems to be ideal for my needs. I’m still getting used to using it and you have to experiment a bit with timings, but so far so good.
I live alone and it seemed to be quite expensive to use the oven on my cooker just to cook for myself. So far with the aid of some microwave cookware I’ve managed to feed myself quite well.
Using combinations like microwave and grill or convection and microwave I’ve been able to cook things quicker and believe that’s where the savings are made.
I also think that I’m eat a bit healthier because I’ve been steam cooking items like various vegetables, rice and fish.
I’m also finding it a lot easier to clean as it’s on the worktop, where as I have to get on my hands and knees to clean the oven in my cooker.
It’s still early days yet, but I think with a bit more practice I could make this my main appliance for cooking rather than my conventional cooker.
Needed to replace my microwave and was advised by friends to get a combo unit. I was assured that it would be my go-to cooking space, somewhat doubtful I purchased this unit. They were right, it’s fantastic… I love it!
It took a bit of getting used to, only having used a microwave before, now I cook 90% of my meals in this. It’s quick and easy, warms up really fast and is very versatile. Getting used to the two-tier cooking took a bit of getting my head around until it clicked that it was just a ‘shelf’ – stupid I know, but…
I’m getting older, so not having to bend over (I have an under bench oven) and reach across an oven door (this unit has a standard microwave side opening door) to lift out food is brilliant – it’s simply open the door, reach in and take out the food, no bending, stretching, twisting or turning required!
Question to all the oven manufacturers, why do the doors open down over?
I would buy this again, I’m just hoping I don’t have to for quite a while

Very versatile and easy to use
Although I’ve struggled with programmable type microwaves in the past this one is so easy to use even with the combi modes. It is easy to just use power level and time settings too. It has a large capacity despite a small footprint overall.
Superb buy
Replaced my 7-yr old very basic microwave, with this from Amazon Warehouse – it is stylish, functional and excellent at utilising the different cooking methods. I was a little wary about buying a returned / refurbished item, but It was a really good choice!
Good value combination microwave
I bought this as a replacement for my basic microwave and have been very pleased with it. The instruction book is very comprehensive and although I have not yet tried everything it can do, I have been very pleased so far.
Do not buy this conbi microwave if you have any intention of using it as an oven. I have had two previous models of this microwave and they have been absolutely brilliant. However, I don’t know what they have done to this new model but the oven is not fit for purpose. What would cook on 180 for 30 minutes is still not cooked properly on 220 for an hour. An example, three small frozen fish fillets from Tesco should cook in 30 minutes on 180. Fast forward to an hour on 220 and I have one fillet that is passable as just cooked, one fillet that is still frozen in the middle and the final one, still frozen. This is not a cheap combi and I think I would have been better off purchasing a cheap microwave and an air-fryer or halogen oven. I am so disappointed that Panasonic thinks that this new model is fit for sale. A person in the industry said that the elements are not the same wattage and this is due to environmental pressures placed on companies. If you have to cook something on a much higher heat for twice as long this is not energy saving. I can only reiterate very strongly that if you have any intention of using the oven, please do not purchase this model.
Cheaper to run than main oven, exceptional results.
Due to the spiralling cost of electricity, decided to replace our ageing microwave with the Panasonic Combi Oven, on offer at 170. No bigger than the microwave it replaced but much more usable we are finding it indispensable. High microwave power (1000W) aids speed of cooking ready meals. Grill is very efficient (although smaller than main oven). Convection cooking is quicker than main oven (and uses less than half the electricity) as no need to preheat for most items. Recently cooked a piece of beef using the Auto/Roast setting and it cooked it to perfection – very impressed! Main oven is only used when cooking larger quantities that won’t fit into the Panasonic (Yorkshire Puddings for example) Overall, 10/10 and would buy again, especially when on offer.

I am an avid fan of Panasonic micro waves and only once have I purchased another brand – I gave it away after a few months. This latest purchase was for cosmetic reasons i.e. a change of colour. The old one is still working fine.

This is a reliable product as im most Japanese’s products. Over 26 years I have owned 4 0f these Panasonic ovens. This time I was lucky to purchase a great oven ar an attractive price. In my experience this product gives the user a reliable service.
Stainless steel grill let's it down.
The high only steel grill let’s it down. I got a high/low stainless steel grill for 6.99. Works very well.
After using my last Panasonic for 22 years it finally gave up and it was time to find a replacement.
A grill was a must has i cook steaks in there.
This model is a great choice, virtually the same programs as the old one but with tons of extras.
The large 27 Litre capacity is handy has i can use larger plates, the microwave is larger than the other and takes up a little more counter space.
Being 1000 Watt I was expecting 800 setting for cooking frozen food as this is generally what they are cooked on but it doesn’t have one, the next setting is 600 for unknown reason.
Just means you have to reduce the cooking time by 30 sec per 100 watt, when cooking on Full power .
Not a big fan of cooking frozen pizza, it seems to over cook the edge and under cook the middle, plus being frozen you can’t add extra ingredients.
This is a great size for a large family, plenty of programs for nearly any thing you can think of, it’s mega quiet and I’m hoping it’s going to be has reliable as the last one

Love this brands performance, easy to use on all functions just wish they would stay working for longer.this is number three of this model or similar but the fact I’m prepared to replace every couple of years just demonstrates how much I like it.

I thought the thick booklet rather confusing, but since using all the functions I think this splendid. It probably helps if you are an experienced cook. But with time a new cook will get the hang of it.
Panasonic Combination Microwave Oven and Grill.
This is my third one since they first came out years ago, I use it for most of my cooking, so don’t need to use my big oven. Very economical and versatile. I just can’t manage without it!
Much more internal space
This is not much bigger on the outside than my very old microwave but internally it is much bigger. I have only used twice and just the microwave so cannot comment on other functions yet. So far really pleased.

Very pleased with this combi oven microwave it replaced one that we had had for many years. The oven is a good substitute for larger oven when cooking for one or two. The microwave is very powerful and has taken a little time to get used to. Also as the add said small on the outside but big on the inside. A very welcome aid to our kitchen.

SUPERB MACHINE AND JUST LIKE THE LAST ONE. THIS MODEL IS THE SAME SIZE AS THE PREVIOUS ONE ONE WHICH GAVE GOOD SERVICE FOR 17 YEARS. ITS BRIGHT, WHITE AND LOOKS NICE IN OUR KITCHEN. IF KEPT CLEAN IT WILL LAST ANOTHER 17 YEARS. PANASONIC – ITS WORTH ITS MONEY.
I can cook packets of rice vertically
The previous microwave was not suitable for cooking rice packets vertically and had to be cooked laid down in 2 x1minute goes. Also was only capable of 200 degrees C so was limiting my abilities but this has a maximum of 220 degrees C and is just what I needed.

I am so glad I purchased this combination microwave. It is so easy to use and saves me having to heat my big oven for smaller items. Being at workgroup height is also a bonus no more bending to retrieve my baking. Would recommend to anyone on their own or a small family.

No dislikes I really appreciate the combo mode where it oven cooks and microwaves at the same time, everything seems to cook so much better and quicker than my old microwave.

Excellent combi microwave
Purchased as a replacement for a previous similar Panasonic combination microwave. Which packed up working. I think it’s an uplift in quality from previous model. Only down side, is the menu which is black on grey not black on white. Which is easier to see.
Very Flexible - Very Lightweigh
This microwave does EVERYTHING. I particularly like the CHAOS Defrost function, for the times I forget to take something from the freezer. You just input the type of food and it’s weight and this oven works out the defrost time.
Downsides? Sadly a couple. The oven is so lightweight, it slides across my work surface when either programming it, or closing the door. Also, as pointed out by others, the heating bars in the roof of this microwave are very fierce. I can no longer bake bread on the convection setting. It just burns the top of whatever I am baking.
Door catch “sloppier” than my previous version of same model
Love this microwave. 4th in our family to have one. Last one died and have replaced. Best feature is the Chaos Defrost not found on any other oven. Jacket spuds perfect. Only gripe is the door catch feels less positive than previous one. It closes fine but feel it could be a firmer click.

This is my 3rd one, the previous one lasted for 5 years, the one before that about 6 years which means I didn’t even have to read the instructions, it is simple to use.
In my view it is worth buying to have the convenience of being able to use the oven and grill instead of the big oven at home, and it pays for itself over time. There are many combined functions and variables such as being able to use the combination of microwave and convection oven or grill at the same time. Easy to use and clean.

I like the style and simplicity of design, its large on the inside but not much larger on the outside. It’s quiet to use and easy to understand, I’m very happy with it!

Instructions provided are limited so rather a lot of trial and error is involved. However, once this stage is completed the Unit is very good.
Very comprehensive cooking abilities.
This oven is more than my needs as a single person. I wanted a cooker that did more than just heat up traditional microwave meals. This unit with its grill and convection plus microwave does all that and more. I did find that the pre-programed settings were more than I needed. Now that I have become used to it I can cook a meal quickly without having to use multiple appliances.

I had a slimline Panasonic combination microwave for several years & I bought his one to replace it. This one is just as good & I can recommend it.
The only down side to this order was the packaging had been damaged in several places, including a hole! Parts of the cardboard were wet but the oven itself was not damaged.
