My big old Whilrpool multi microwave died and could not be replace having researched market this was
a v. competitively priced alternative that fits space in kitchen. I like the drop down door, the flat plate, no turntable, so can place my oval dishes in easily. Can see what’s cooking as there is a light. The panacrunch really does crisp up pastry, tip put some grease proof over top or can get a little dark, quicker than the grill on my Falcon range for grilling.Profiteroles rose beautifully using steam.
Really pleased, gave it 4 stars for use only because there are so many variations need to keep manual to hand.

Love the fact there is no turntable and shelves for the grill and oven. The tray is also brilliant, super easy to clean. All in all I can’t believe I am saying this about a microwave, but it is a pleasure to look at and use.

Had a previous Panasonic microwave that had better automatic settings. This is still a good microwave, it steams as well as roasts and microwaves the only down side is it has a metal rack in the manual. This does not come with the microwave and Panasonic cannot tell you how to get this rack.

When I bought this oven I thought I wouldn’t use all its features. I was wrong as they are all useful. We recently move houses and had to rely on this as our very only oven available until we sort out the kitchen, and it’s been a Godsend. It can do everything you need, to superb quality. I made sure I came back to leave this review after over a year owning the oven.

Can you read? Then read the darn instructions instead of complaining on things they already warned you about.
After following the instructions, the machine works like a dream. Steam and Grill combination makes the best toasts I ever had. Steam function is not quite as powerful as the traditional on the stove steamer. Oven works great. Microwave works great.

Bought this after much research to replace my old Sharp combi which had worked well for almost twenty years. Bear in mind I’ve only owned this Panasonic for about a month so far.

Obvious differences to my old machine…
1. Warning – While pre-heating and cooking the top and sides of the machine are hot to the touch. On the plus side, this does let you easily warm your plates before serving, by placing them on top.
2. It’s smaller from the outside, but the cooking area inside is about the same as there is no turntable or plate.
3. The convection oven temperature settings increase in ten degree increments up to a 220 degree maximum. (my old one had a 230 degree max)
4. The beeping to signal when the pre-heat cycle or cooking time ends is not very loud
5. When using the grill to do cheese-on-toast my old one took five minutes at full power. After only two and a half minutes on full power with this one the cheese was starting to bubble.

I use the convection oven the most. Using the guideline temperatures and timer settings on food packets has been a little trial and error. This oven seems quite fierce and I’ve reduced the time and/or temperature recommendations a little to achieve ideal results. I’ve only used the microwave function once – to do a shop bought sausage muffin with cheese. It came out just right.

Included is one ‘Panacrunch’ tray which has ridges to allow any fat or grease drain away from the food. The tray can be inserted in a low or high position. I haven’t used the steamer function yet.

Like any new device, it takes a bit of getting used to how it performs, but all in all I’m very happy with it so far. Having said that, I’ve not been too adventurous in my cooking. Mostly frozen chicken fillets and oven chips and the like. I hope it lasts as long as my old Sharp did.

All in all I’m very happy with the purchase! First things that come to mind: Somewhat larger than a regular micro. Does get hot from outside in the oven mode. As other people have noted as well, versatility means that the manual is good to have nearby.

An extremely versatile cooker/steamer/grill/microwave and oven with so many optional uses Ive still got plenty to try. Don’t buy just to reheat food its worth far more than that.

This as an expensive treat to myself, cooking for one nd having disability issues. Am now waiting for my second roast to be finished, have used the microwave, roast, steam and auto cook so far and it is perfect for me. Programming is easy, follow the book with large sized instructions, the only fault I can find so far is that I would like a light for the programmes so that they stood out. Having problems with registering it on the Panasonic site, will have to phone them, is bringing back a love of cooking fingers crossed that it continues

Very happy with this item, really functional to cook most foods in a healthy way if you have a small family.

Purchased this combination microwave to replace old one very pleased with it particularly like the drop down door.
Haven’t used steam function yet as need to read up on how it works.

Known in the family as ‘the reactor’, this is a really good piece of kit.

So easy to use and very quiet when working. Love it.

I have had this microwave less than a week but after the first try of it I was hooked, steaming is brilliant for veg cooked just right, and fish. I look forward to many happy years of use.
