We have plenty of these around our garden. Once you have them set up they work really well. SOmetimes we lose the Hue connection from the app to the google nest but can get it started again well.

Nickel ce kit d’extension est parfait. Par contre attention il est founit avec la rallonge de 5m et le T pour rajouter une branche ! Donc pas besoin d’acheter autre chose que le kit d’extension. Fonctionne parfaitement c’est un bonheur de brancher et c’est reconnu instantanment par l’app.

Ich habe 5 Lily Lampen im Garten im Einsatz. Diese hat das Set vervollstndigt. Anlernen klappte wie gewohnt gut bei Philips HUE. Die Steuerung ber die App und ein Verbinden mit Alexa war extrem einfach. Die Lampen wechseln schnell die Lichtfarbe auf Wunsch und sind hell.
Preislich deutlich teurer als die Mitbewerber, aber das Ergebnis ist es wert.

Ich kann die Bewertungen hier derzeit nicht im geringsten nachvollziehen. Unsere Lampe steht nun seit gut 5 Monaten im Auenbeleuchtung und musste ebenfalls schon zahlreiche Regengsse ber sich ergehen lassen und Zeigt bus Dato keinerlei Anzeichen fr Undichtigkeiten. Auch funktioniert die Beleuchtung genau so wie sie es soll….

Hue Hue Hue....
We have Philips Hue everywhere and it is a really good system – especially for my elderly mother to use as she can use it with the Apple HomePod and her phone. it connects with other systems in her house. looks great, the fittings are really high quality and super easy to install. Recommended!

Love the Philips Hue garden lamps – have Hue lighting in the whole house and have always been impressed by the flexibility and options. The garden fixtures are no different – very well designed, robust and just work. Great to have the garden kit up as well as the house with multiple scenes for every mood.
Might be more expensive than the cheap Chinese alternatives but well worth it when you take the whole ecosystem into account with app and other devices.

They’re great white but the colours can be fun too! I already had some Philips Hue lights so these were an easy addition to an already in place system (hub required for easy setup and use). I recommend them for a great outdoor light. Also the Calla Bollard lights are worth a look (they spread light much more than the spot).

So knnen wir die Pflanzen in unseren Hochbeeten anleuchten. Und zwar in beliebigem Kalt- oder Warmwei oder in 16 Millionen Farben. Jeder Spot lsst sich dabei einzeln steuern und auch dimmen. Got these on Black Friday deal. The spike slide into the ground perfectly. Good illumination and colours are great. Compliments the rest of the Hue bulbs.

Originally bought the 3 light outdoor set then bought this additional light. They are fairly bright I feel, easy to set up and use. However after buying this additional light in Oct 2018, it has now failed in Aug 2019 so lasted a mere 10 months. It is showing as being on in the app, but it emits no light. Turning power off/on doesn’t help. The original set of 3 work fine still – at the moment, however I’m now a little wary of how long they will last. Considering the cost of these, with the advertising stating how tough they are – how they’ve been rigorously tested, it’s pretty disappointing that 1 of the four I have has failed in 10 months.
Well within the 2 years warranty (electrical goods in EU have as standard 2 years) so will be seeking replacement. If however any others fail I’ll update this review. So if time’s gone by and this review isn’t updated with further failures, then they’re working fine!
Update from Sep 2019: I contacted Philips support to work out what was going wrong and trying a couple of things, removing individual lights and trying again etc, I found in one of the cable connectors one of the pins had broken. The connector was screwed together ok but one of the pins must have been faulty – weak in some way and broke at the base maybe providing enough of an electrical connection for a while. Because none of the light worked one their own with the power supply it indicated that had failed, probably caused by a short or something I guess due to the broken pin. Philips support were very helpful and asked for me to supply photos which I did and they sent me a replacement cable (for the one that had the connector with a broken pin) plus a new power supply without any quibble. After fitting these it all worked.
I found their support friendly, helpful and keen to get the problem resolved. Hence I’ve updated the rating back up to 4 stars. Not 5, because the light are fairly bright when white (they are accent lights really not flood lights) but for colours they could do with being a little brighter, plus they aren’t the cheapest – so both things knock them from 5 to 4 stars.
For outdoor lighting you can’t go past hue. These work really well and are really bright.

The result will be a lot of light and color making your garden (potentially) a lot more inviting and beautiful. Note that this is for the extension unit you still need a base unit to supply power.

Ich verbinde in meinem Garten 2 Philips Hue Lilly Spots (jeweils in der Hecke platziert) mit 2 Philips Hue Calla Lampen entlang des Zauns und kann so den Garten sehr gut ausleuchten. Zudem kann man zwischen unzhligen Farben und Einstellungen und diversen Weitnen wechseln. ber die Hue App lassen sich diverse Szenarien einstellen wie z.B. einschalten bei Sonnenuntergang. Fr mich ist das sehr ntzlich – speziell jetzt zur dunkleren Jahreszeit kann man so fr eine gute Ausleuchtung des Grundstcks sorgen ohne dies manuell machen zu mssen.
Sowohl die Calla als auch die Spots kann ich von Philips Hue sehr empfehlen. Es knnen auerdem bis zu fnf Lampen an ein Netzteil angeschlossen werden. Dies ist sehr praktisch, da man ja in der Regel nicht so viele Steckdosen im Garten ja.

As the title suggests, these are excellent lights however I feel for what the are they are very expensive, hence 4 stars
This extension spot connects up with the Hue Lily starter pack really well and easy to install. A large range of colours that really do transform the out door space – so pleased i added these to my garden!
This is an extension and you will need the base unit before you buy this as the base unit contains the power source and this then just extends the base unit with an additional light.
You can only have 5 lights connected up to any one power source – any more than this and you will need another base/separate power unit. This was confirmed in the instructions and when speaking with Hue. It does come with the 5m extension lead too and the connection block to connect up to you existing lily set up.
If you look closely at the product pictures it appears that this does not include the long extension cable.
BUT don’t worry. It does include a long extension cable identical to the ones in the three lampnstater kit. Also includes an additional T connector as you would expect.
Oh and the light effects are beautiful. The effects shown on the Hue websites are accurate.

I’m always amazed at how much light can change the look of something! These lights are brilliant! I’ve fitted 5 down my garden and have just looked to purchase more for round the back. They can be lit any colour you choose proving you already have a Philips hue bridge… some of the colours show up better than others however that would be expected with any coloured light. I see another review about them not being much use without a special power supply however if you read the description it clearly states that a base unit is required and that this is just an extension spot… I’ll admit they are a little pricey but you’re sure to impress the neighbours! A cheaper alternative would be to buy Philips GU10 ambient lamps and GU10 garden spots separately, I’d image you’d achieve the same outcome although that would require an electrician. However for ease of fitting these lights are the best on the market and the product just feels like good quality! 5 stars undoubtably
