I would recommend it to any causal music lover!
Love the product but huge learning curve. From which software to use. Which hardware pc Mac Android or iOS. Also it should have a big bank of songs for you to dive right. Difficult to use but once I’ve learned I’m sure it will be awesome. Trying to run before I can walk I suppose.
I have had lots of fun using this and it has everything I need as a beginner. If you are more experienced i would probably go for something bigger/has more features but for me it is perfect. Great to help you learn how to start Djing.

Seemed the way to go. I’m only an amateur dj have played out live a few times but mainly just a hobby. Best piece of kit I have bought in years. For someone starting out this is the way to go. Easy to use and 100% portable AND ITS PIONEER!!!!!! WeDJ is a tad awkward to use on iPhone as it’s small but it’s a great app. Personally DJay by algoriddim is my fave app. Works perfectly with my iPad Air 4. Has made me want to upgrade to a MacBook now and then maybe if I get good again upgrade to a more expensive ddj unit. Ample effects in app make up for the lack of filter keys and knobs on the unit but u can assign hot keys on the performance pads. What Else can u expect for such a low price. Simply brilliant.
As a long time DJ of turntables, CD decks, and various other digital DJ hardware, I can honestly say this was the simplest and most user friendly experience (when used with Rekordbox). The controls are all simple to use and it’s extremely light and portable.
Had a few issues with first one I had so sent it back and rebought it, turns out it was my settings were a complete mess on my DJ program, smh! But absolute quality and would definitely recommend
Husband bought he loves it said easy to use but very professional. He was a DJ back in the day wants to get back to it. I’m now a DJ widow tho
This product is great for a beginner. It’s great fun and can be used straight out of the box but doesn’t have as many features as a more expensive controller but we’ll worth the money!
Ok but maybe for kids
Well it does what it is supposed to be, but bit of a toy compared to any higher model. I would recommend to go one step higher and get the real feel. This feels like its foe kids
Have returned this item as was bought based on the description.
It did not have Bluetooth connection to a computer and did not have headphone jack.
The return was accepted no questions and the refund came back very quickly.
There was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn’t “What it said on the tin.”
I love it. Very compact (only as wide as my laptop), so it doesn’t take a lot of space on my ‘home studio’. You can pick up the basics immediately and it makes listening to House music much more fun. Can be used ‘on the go’ with a good battery pack, speakers and a mobile phone/tablet, but I find mixing using the phone a bit too fiddly so most of the time I use on the laptop with Rekordbox (it unlocks Rekordbox by the way, which is awesome!). Very happy with it and would definitely recommend for beginner DJs. I also use loop function to quickly isolate samples to use on Ableton or playing live over the top).
Amazing dj set bought for my 3 sons over lockdown (16,14,10) by 10 year old is loving it so much so he now has a booth, lights and speakers and goes live weekly. Great piece of kit, easy to use with an ipad
Pros. Straight out the box excellent! Banging mixes out within minutes.
Cons. No headphone volume control. No select track knobs and load buttons.
Seems quiet even tho crancked to the max!
Overview. Really good quality from pioneer for the price great fun tho!! Just lacking them essential dj knobs and when linked with app with mobile phone just wish was not touching phone as much being’s just brought a dj controller!!!!! Overall if you want a mix buy it great fun!

Work great with Spotify……..you DO need external powered speakers to be fully ‘portable’ but for the price range you’re looking at a complete set up for c200-250!!….amazing value for the laughs and memories they’ll bring
Great bit on entry kit for the price.
Easy to setup, also cool that you can stream online music. Takes a bit of knowing how to use all of the functionality but lots of fun.
