Superb gardening gif
I bought this wacky tomato set as a unique birthday present for my Mum, whose main interest is gardening. She loved it, she found the tomatoes easy to grow and they came out really well. We had a taste of them once they’d fully grown and they’re really delicious and sweet, and the different cool shapes, colours and sizes of all the varieties made for a lovely conversation piece between us. It’s one of the best gifts I’ve given my Mum, she loved it and we’ve since purchased similar items from the same company and really liked them too. Highly recommended for the gardening fans out there wanting to try something unique.

The box was not sealed on arrival so I checked inside and everything listed in photos and details was inside the box and seemed of good quality. Cannot comment on how easy they are to grow or their flavour as its a gift!

Chilli's are growing
I waited until the seeds have germinated before writing this review. I ordered the kit to start growing different varieties of chilli’s. The kit contains everything you need to get started – pots, compost and six different types of seeds. The instructions aren’t brilliant and don’t say how many seeds to plant, how often to water etc. My seeds started germinating after 3 weeks.

Good growth and if looks afterwards allows growth but you have to watch and keep watch of these products
Good but could improve.
Do not sit waiting for compost to expand to7x its size, it won’t, and if it did it would be too much for the pot. Four times is the figure so the instructions are incorrect. Add to the instructions that a peeling of a skin needs to be done, to get to the damp compost. The plastic bags could be bigger. They are exactly the diameter of the pot so need to be squeezed to get them into the bag, disturbing the carefully positioned seeds.

Really easy ki
I was given the Funky Veg set as a gift and everything grew beautifully. Only thing in hindsight I should not have planted all the seeds at once, as had so many tomato plants I was overrun. But enjoyed it so much have bought another one as a gift for my son.
A nice well packaged gift (for my self) but if purchasing for yourself or someone else note that the seeds can’t be sowed until spring 2023 and all the seeds I received expire in June 2023 although I’m sure they will last quite a bit longer than expected.
This was Fun - and what a harvest!
So, this was fun. We did this with our 9 year old daughter to help her with a Scouts badge. It was really easy to grow them from seed. They provide everything you need to get started, but then we transferred all of ours to much bigger buckets with gardening soil – which of course you’ll have to get separately. They provide little sticks to mark each variety. Word to the wise – you might want to paint the name on with acrylic paint or nail polsh instead because by the end of the summer we could no longer read the sticks. But look, these photos speak for themselves. All of the varieties are here from red to bluish: we’ve got Radana first, then Duo, then Zlatava, then Tako, then Green Envy and lastly the Black Russians. all the varieties are tasty. As of today though I think the Green envies are my favorite for flavor.

Weird, wonderful, wonky
I’ve bought from Plant Theatre before for my own garden (gifting this year to my son-in-law) – apart from battling with slugs, the results are great – fun to grow, fun when the results are so delightfully unexpected – and the flavour is excellent. Packs are delivered promptly with full instructions and everything you need to get started.

Quirky tomatoes!
I got these for my brother for last Christmas. He has been harvesting them during the last month. He was very pleased with the results. Each variety had it’s own unique taste and shape. His favourite ones were the small yellow ones. He said they were nice and sweet.

Bought this for the wife as she’s a keen Gardner and as a veg patch too. They all seem to be growing nicely atm. They only thing my wife said is that there was nowhere near enough compost supplied. Can’t rate the taste yet as they are still growing

Tomato Brussels sprouts and courgette/zucchini all after 4 days of watering and germination this is really good easy to grow just some tips for other you will want to do research on the care and nutrition for each of this plants or they may just ‘randomly die as someone else mentioned happend to them gonna post more updates

Got my Harvest!
This was a very pleasant surprise from my missus to me.
I’ve always had a keen interest in growing plants.
I was skeptical to begin with as they come in these little bio degradable pots.
But to my surprise they work wondrously.
Each plant took between 7 days to 15 days to break out of the provided pot.
And once they did, they turn into these beautiful chilli plants they advertise.
Had them all summer and they each yielded between 20-25 chillies each.
Some I eaten and some I’ve turned into chilli oils.
Would definitely recommend if you want to get into growing chillies. Its a good start.

Easy to grow
I bought this over lockdown for a bit of fun gardening. Apaet from the yellow courgette, all seeds sprouted well. I haven’t harvested any of the vegetables yet as they are still young

So glad I bought this off Amazon during lockdown. Courgettes have grown the fastest, Brussel sprouts and tomatoes have done well too as you can see in the pic. The carrots and Swiss chards not so much but my balcony is full of these lovely plants and I’m excited to see how it turns out come October.

Lovely little gift for the gardener in your life!
Got this for my Dad on his birthday because he has an allotment. He thought I was bonkers but he’s been loving it! It’s like the grift that’s keeps on giving. The set comes with everything needed to get the seedlings going. I’ve included pics of the golden courgettes because they’re the ones ready first, but according to him and my mum, everything is growing, the tomato’s aren’t ready but they are stripy, and the carrots are underground still, but look to be doing well.
They’ve really enjoyed it, and they’re the talk of the allotment at the minute. They had so many of the golden courgette plants they even had to give some away. They said they’re very tasty, more form and less soggy than regular courgettes.
Can’t recommend more if you have a green fingered friend or family member. Might even get myself one next year.

Planted all of the seeds in may, some should be done different times of the year but just wanted to try grow them. It’s been 1-2 months and here’s my update… courgettes are doing the best, so big, 3/5 survived! Tomato’s have grown wild! Carrots look not as good but growing slowly and the rest have died (but it does say the best time to start growing) instructions easy, good as a gift (but I got for myself as something to do)

Good but maybe overpriced
I bought this product to try and grow some vegetables on my balcony this spring/summer. It was quite easy to begin with, the little shoots came out quite quickly, I just feel there needed more instructions on what to do when you need to replant everything.
Be prepared you need to get lots of compost, pots in different sizes, watering can etc. So I think it was a bit overpriced tbh as you have to spend quite a bit on other items like tomato food, sticks for the tomato plants.
It was lockdown so compost was incredibly expensive to get a hold of! And it can be time consuming so make sure you can be around to water them all the time!
It’s a fun thing to do if you have kids, watching everything grow

Cannot comment on flavor as too soon. Delighted as all arrived sooner than expected as did the sprouting seeds. I am so looking forward to the red Brussels sprouts and the purple carrots. A good buy.

I have plants
We were in “lockdown” and no way to get plants for my allotment. I found these pepper and chilli seeds so I bought them. They arrived in good time with 3 varieties of pepper and 3 of chillies. Not a lot of each but sufficient for my needs. They come in a kit but the small pots and peat substitute were not needed. The germination rate was erratic but I ended up with 22 plants, of which I have planted 12 in a bed and 10 in a greenhouse so far all are growing well. Time will tell on their fruiting.

I have only recently received delivery of this item so have not had a chance to grow on consume the item. It looks really good value for money, I will certainly look at gifting these. The despatch and delivery was very prompt with no issues. Recommend company.

I bought these as a gift for my son who’s 25 & living with mates during lockdown. He was absolutely delighted with them & has sent me pictures of the plants growing well in his window sill. Love the peat pots! Can’t vouch for the flavour as yet.
So many seeds!
Can’t comment yet on how easy they are to grow as have only just planted them. For sewing the instructions are clear, and everything you need except the water is in the packet. But they give you so many seeds that there are far more seeds than can be grown in the pots provided! That’s not a complaint, but an observation that you might also want to buy some more of the little compostable coir pots if you’re using this item yourself.
Made for a fun present and date nigh
After a month of watering daily they all finally sproated and need re-potting. Thankfully its been quite sunny. Some took longer than other. Its all guess work really as the instructions only tell you how you pot the plant. It gives no indication as to how often they need watering or when you re-pot. But otherwise I’m very pleased with how they’re coming along.
I bought this expensive set as I’m a total novice and didn’t want to get it wrong! I felt fully confident growing for the first time, it has a very colourful informative booklet, I have done some further research myself from the information included.
I was concerned when I only got 4-6 seeds per each packet. I felt robbed. But from approximately 30 seeds I have 27 strong sprouts so it’s a mercy only that many were included! It’s a very exciting process to watch from my windowsill while I wash up, I will include further photos as they develop, but feels like I really got my money’s worth and I’m gonna pass some baby plants onto neighbours if they all stay healthy, or I won’t have enough space!!!

Due to Covid-19 isolation I purchased these as a fun way to start learning how to grow things. I planted the seeds 7 days ago and they all germinated so fingers cross they grow well. The instructions and tools provided are clear but you will need to get yourself some larger pots, grow bags and compost for you to be able to grow the vegetables properly.

We just received this kit to spend some more time with my daughter while we are at home. The kit package is really small and they included everything necessary inside. But one of the pots inside the box was broken which I needed to find another solution other than using that. My daughter enjoyed plantation and she is curious and asking everyday about when we will get crops.
