Strong root growth
Perlite as a grow medium strengthens root growth and also acts as a terrific insulator to protect plants from temperature changes.
Better nutrient absorption
Using vermiculite as growing medium will also enable the plant to more easily absorb the ammonium, potassium, calcium and magnesium necessary for vigorous growth.

Arrived on time. Easy to use just mix with compost. Used in 8 containers for planting tulips which need good drainage. Can’t comment on results until next spring but containers are lighter and easy to move. 100 litres bag is good value for money

I love this perlite and use it for plant’s all the time, so the large bag is great. wether it’s for large tubs or pots, veggies or tomatoes. I use it in everything from my banana trees to succulents! Where it’s been most outstanding is using with succulent cuttings as shown in the photo. Using clear acrylic bowls and bottom lined with perlite I don’t need drainage as amount of moisture is easily seen. Plus you don’t need much moisture in the bottom just add enough once a week or less to see it’s damp only. These babies have taken off in a couple of months and loving the system, growing much quicker and larger than others the same age without it! Plus who’d have thought that a mineral taken from the ground can be heated like popcorn and end up like popcorn! And with so many nourishing benefits for our plants. That’s amazing 🙂 hope this review is helpful.

Enough perlite for quite some time
I am not an expert but it seems the product is good and has arrive rather quick so nothing to complain.
Arrived quickly for which I was grateful as I use this in all my compost mixes and I had run out.
I have used Perlite for years, especially in compost mixes for my Cacti in place of grit. Although a bit dusty, it is light to use and promotes really good root growth and prevents water-logging.

I have nothing much to add to the other positive reviews. As someone who has generally bought small bags of perlite for taking cuttings in town for 5-6, getting a large sack of equal quality perlite for 20 is rather nice. Very good value and quality.

I don’t think I had any idea what 100L of perlite would look like but it’s huge!! On the other hand, it is ABSOLUTELY worth the money. If you have room in your shed, get this bag and literally never buy perlite again I don’t think

As far as I am concerned, this product is most necessary if you are potting plants using soil from the garden, as it creates a porous compost thus preventing the plant from standing in water.

Those plants really need water to drain away quickly, so this additive will help to do that easily.

Much Cheaper than Garden Centres!
Great way to buy Perlite instead of paying much higher prices (per kilo) that garden centres and nurseries charge for smaller packs.

Good apart from delivery
It’s just fed-ex they said they’ll deliver it on 13/5/21 but they deliver it by 8pm but delivered a day later 10.50am while I was at work. But one thing they did is put it in my safe place

it is a great product to add to compost to ensure enough air gets to the roots of plants in pots, especially in very wet weather.

Buying in bulk is worth while, decanted into smaller bags to keep the dust down, makes it easier to use.

Just what was needed to mix in with a load of heavy soil that I was moving to a raised bed. Very dusty, as expected, so make sure that you’re up wind when tipping it out.
100ltrs weighed approximately 9kgs (about 8 bags of sugar) so pretty easy to handle.

Considering this is usually sold in small bags, this size bag was ideal for me as I was regenerating 5 large planters ready for this season.
I had a problem with all the rain filling up these planters as I didn’t have them covered but the rain was excessive and the planters were overwhelmed!
Extra drainage holes and bark will help the water to drain better and the perlite also helps!

Absolutely huge. We bought it to build a good foundation for new turf. After sprinkling over the soil we found ourselves left with about 85% !!! This will last us good couple of years. Great value for money!!!

I was a bit sceptical when buying this because I normally buy from Prime and not other sellers, this arrived within two days in a massive bag and exactly as I ordered 100L of perlite but not in the Plant !T bag as advertised but a Sinclair so I’m not sure if it’s the same brand or not but the perlite is great quality and after looking around this is great value at 22. I will definitely be buying from these again for sure.

Bulky Bag at great price
My order for the 100L bag of Pearlite arrived within 5 days, was in perfect order sealed in original Plant It bag and doubled bagged in black sack. Only 4 starts as opposed to full 5, as yet to test out the product, but all looks fine and no different to any other used in the past.
