These are on the expensive side and I do wish Sony would make better VR controllers but I was pleasantly surprised to find that these were newer models which use a micro (not mini) usb connection, which in turn means they’re far easier to charge.

Fantastic controllers when all set up,
Package came but instructions were not in English so quick YouTube to find out how to connect them, unfortunately they don’t come with the cable to pair them to the PS4 box and the stand cable I bought for my vr just wouldn’t work.
So my options were go and buy one just to pair them or find one around the house, it turns out the Alexa cable works great.
A bit overpriced but works well and made a little boy very happy.
Worked great. I did have an issue initially but it was due to my own fault charging cable. The seller was very quick in replying to my query. I’d recommend him.

So first time attempting to charge the controller and it will not work, does not show charging light, won’t show it’s even plugged in when it’s turned on, I’ve not damaged or dropped or done anything with them, I’ve played 3 sitting down games which whereby even using the controller’s for 2 of them, and now this isnt charging?? Clearly haven’t done anything to them as one is perfectly fine. Can j please have a replacement sent out or I will be going through Amazon for a full refund.

Essential for some vr games, I didnt really fancy paying the high price these motion controllers seem to be now but for some vr games I wanted to play I couldn’t play without them, and looking back; although they are expensive I am pleased I bought them, the fun I am having with games like Super Hot VR and Job Simulator has made it worth it.
Also for Horror games like Paranormal Activity it has given me the ability to look around freely using the motion controller as a torch, letting me look easier around for the jumpscares.
After some one time set up through the ps4 these have been easy to use, and good battery life.
I did need charging leads which are not included in the pack which I think is a bit wrong but I had several leads anyway, I didn’t need to purchase any old ps3 adapters as the newest style connectors fit for charging.

Great product that allows you to play a wider variety of vr games. Enhances your gaming experience and provides you entertainment or hours. Works well in darker areas but doesn’t work as well when block the conroller lights from the ps camera
Faster than expected delivery from amazon, move sticks are needed for some vr games and enhance other games, easy to set up just plug in to your ps4 like the standard controller, only downside they dont come with a charging cable.
Makes dancing so much easier, would have been 5 stars if it had come with a wrist strap.

For some reason these controllers became like rocking horse droppings in December and those who did have them were asking silly money.
So I was starting to panic for I had promised them to my son and was starting to feel the pain in my wallet but Amazon announced that they were re-stocking in time for Xmas (small miracles).
As promised they arrived on time and since then the controllers have had a serious work out and not skipped a “beat saber”.
These are my 2nd lot now i really hope these last longer they are well needed

If you are buying a PSVR, it’s up to you if you want to get the motion controllers at the same time. They can’t be used in all of the VR games, the tracking can sometimes require a bit of quick calibration but they are great to feel immersed in some games. At some point you may feel that you would like to buy these a while after owning the PSVR. They delivered fast, they came in mint condition, they have long battery and I would reccomend to get these. Please do some research before ordering them first.
These aren’t bad, but seem to be overpriced for what they are. I often get tracking issues with them playing Beat Saber, but believe that is a PSVR issue in general. They are quite comfortable to hold and easy to set up, but not having analogue sticks to move is a massive downside.
Price is a little high however they make the vr games more active and it’s makes the games feel like your really there where you use them
Very responsive and with a good weight. I thought that the white balls on the end were solid, so I was surprised that they are squishy. Also pleasantly surprised to find that they change colour, so you don’t have to worry that you’ve got the wrong colour.
I bought Beat Saber at the same time, and can honestly say that I have never experienced anything quite so much like holding a real lightsaber. It it absolutely awesome, and I strongly recommend that anyone who has ever pretended to wield one immediately try it out.
It’s expensive, mind. But I do not regret buying them even for a moment.
If you have VR you need these, games will be much better 🙂 and you can play with Beat saber! 🙂
Despite being undeniably and irritatingly expensive and hard to come by used i bit the bullet and invested for my psvr set up, its a complete game changer and worth the investme

I must say these were so easy to setup my 9 year old son set them up with spiderman .
It’s opened up a new way of gaming on vr much better than the single controller.
They do the job as described, can’t complain. If I could, I would add analogue sticks like on the regular controler too. It has the newer ps4 micro USB, that was good, but the lead is not in the box, so you would need to have one. Other than that, happy days!
Brilliant just what I needed makes the vr experience more realistic better than using the control
My main criticsm is that there no on/off switch on the Moves themselves.
As some games & NMS itself, if you wish, use Dualshock. So if playing in VR and wishing either to play via Dualshock or a different non-Move game you have to power off the PS4 to power off the Moves.
Last night with PSVR off I still had one Move on & one Move off so I have one with more battery life than the other and I will need both to play NMS.
Otherwise these devices have heft so do not feel like a toy hence the 4 star. Being able to point with my hand to aim at something is great.
One piece of advice is get the dual pack as some games need both (I don’t own one that doesn’t) and buying singles is way too expensive
Easy to use no charging lead as old playstation 2 software so a little out dated as the connection is no longer used but for pairing to your console

The Move Controllers are a game changer, literally! Obviously not all game support them but the ones that do are forever changed! I was playing Rush of Blood with a DualShock for a while but them I got these and it was like playing a new game! The aiming is very precise and only ever goes wrong if I’m sitting at a stupid angle so then it’s my own fault! For the shooters CrisisVRigade and Gun Club VR they work perfectly. Even with aiming rifles in Gun Club works well. The long gun aiming didn’t work so well in Blood & Truth for some reason, even though I sat in the same position and used the controllers in the same way so I’m putting it down to the game and not the Move Controllers.
I am only around 1m away from the camera so it doesn’t require a lot of room to use.
Their charge holds for hours! I couldn’t say how many hours because I get caught up in games and lose track of time…. But I hardly ever charge them! Wonderful!

Motion controllers bring VR to a whole new level I must admit I thought they would be gimacky at the start but for games such as BEAT SABER AND CREED you get a serious work out and my VR experience has been enhanced in ways I cant even explain. You just have to try it out for yourself.
For me there is no going back to normal gaming. For one I just dont have time to be sitting around playing games but with the VR and motion controllers I can work out and have an absolute blast at the same time. This is a huge benefit to anyone who is shy about going to the gym like me and can have a serious workout in their own home.
FRUIT NINJA – RUSH OF BLOOD – CREED – BEAT SABRE……are just a few games that will get your heart racing and your muscles pumped just from throwing your arms around, some games require squatting too so its even better.
Motion controllers make you feel like you are in the game even more then regular controller games. You just have to play with them to believe it. Just be aware that a pair will ususally only work with one console at a time.
I love these, been after some move controllers for ages. Well worth the money for a true VR experience!!

Great fun but need to be fully charged for 5 hrs before first play also doesn’t come with a charging cable. I mean for 140 you would think they could throw in a 5 cable.
Works perfectly. Bit of a pain to find the right cable to sync but once you’ve managed it, it does add an extra element to VR

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my grandson so at this moment in time I am unable to comment. This item arrived a week later than expected but I am sure it will work as intended.
The Controller works well for move games just a shame they didnt make many games that work with them.
Also the design is a bit ugly i think wii make nicer looking remotes for this
I love it. I originally brought it for Just Dance 2018 on PS4 as the PS camera was temperamental and it helped so much its so responsive and easy to get used to
The Move Controllers do the job, one seems to have better battery than the other and the packaging was just a plastic sleeve, but other than that they work as they should

They are quite expensive now probably because they have come back into demand as the New VR headset on Ps4 using them.
However for a great gaming experience i would recommend them. They can be charge theough the usualy cables for charging the original game console hand controllers.
Description said bulk pack but mine arrived in a sealed PS3 branded box which was a nice bonus. I only ordered the single as I already had a move controller for my PS3 and didn’t want to buy two for PSVR. I had the problem that it didn’t last a minute before dying after a eight hour charge and was going to return it as faulty but I let it charge for a couple of days on my official Sony move dock and it worked great for hours after that.
It appears to both be the genuine article and brand new.
When compared with my original move wand, it is noticeable that my original ones bulb cover thing plastic had yellowed over time. The playstation 4 easily paired and calibrated, compensating for the difference in plastic colour.
The game that is shown with it is playable with a normal controller but is made better by having independent hand control and had no noticeable tracking issues that i had not experienced using the controller.
Any tracking issues experienced while playing in the conservatory (pictured) were largely due to the amount of reflective surfaces, and when set up in my normal gaming space any “Derpy Hand Syndrome” or play-space drifting was limited.
With a game like Job simulator, that is a port of a previously existing VR title, you might expense some mild tracking issues if your actions and/or environment block the cameras view of the wand(s). Personally I had to set up my playspace so that the game thought i was very short and that my arm span was somewhat shorter than it actually is to play the game from a seated position and it not ask me to reach through my sofa cushions to interact with objects.
This is the final piece in completing my home PSVR set up and I’m pleased to have got it. With it the only slight issue that i have/has been attempting to use them to navigate the playstation menu system. the trigger and move button seem to allow partial navigation but with no on screen button prompt I find myself favouring either voice controls or reaching for my Dualshock.
I needed the controller for a recent gaming purchase. Comfortable and easy to use, just wish the thumb buttons were a bit larger.

Its okay, but I found out after buying it that not all games work with it. Therefore you have to use the normal PS3 controller, which can be awkward at times

No, seriously though, as much fun as the Move controller is for Heavy Rain/Resident Evil 5/Your Favourite Light Gun game – it’s in JS Joust that the Move Controller becomes essential. Not since Wii Sports has something felt so fun, natural and such an easy prospect to introduce to your friends, neighbours, parents or elderly relatives.
I got time crisis and house of the dead and use this as the shooting control ( in a sharp shooter) and it works fine. Lights up and pretty good. I dont think the move is the best value product in the world and probably wouldnt have got it i wasnt feeling wreckless with money that day, but now its here its a keeper.
Daughters play station 3. I was determined that at least something that I’d bought her had all the bells and whistles and fully catered for just so she could say she’s got it all with the PS3 to her friends. When I saw the bargain price of these controllers I was dead pleased. They are genuine Sony, they work a treat and my daughter has a great time with the interactive games and she now has all the accessories that are available for the PS3
We bought this to go with the ‘Book of spells’ game. Does exactly what it says on the tin and works really well. However, quite expensive and if you haven’t already got the camera and game it’s actually cheaper to buy the starter pack of the ‘book of spells’.
I am still not convinced by the look and feel of the PS3 approach to motion control. Jumping about our front room with a glowing pink bauble has created a few giggles in our house. Have to say it works great though and really adds to the depth of games you can play on teh PS3.
Great gift for the kids (and adults!) – forces them to move. They jump all around the room – great fun watching them to do that. It’s really accurate although you need a lot of space to really enjoy the games like dancing, boxing or sword fight.
Now for the fun part, it rocks! Controller fells solid and ergonomic, very sensible and precise.
You will have a great time playing games like sports champions, move fitness, medieval moves, even echochrome will have a refreshing perspective.
A must have for anyone seeking a new way to play games on the ps3, and getting move active while playing.
As you may have noticed, all PlayStation controllers can only be charged either through the PlayStation machine itself (which requires switching on the unit for charging) or by using a special charging unit that you must purchase — Sony’s lock-in idea to make you buy another Sony product (although fortunately there are cheaper non-branded alternatives).
Nowadays a 5V mains charger with mini USB connector, as for PS3 controllers, is ubiquitous and they come with mobile phones, digital cameras, wireless stereo headphones, and many other portable devices. Chances are you may have one sitting idle or shareable with another device for charging.
If you try to charge your PS3 controllers, none of them work with an ordinary 5V mains charger used with other portable devices despite the fact that the DC plug is compatible. The reason is that Sony, in their wisdom of proprietary design have decided for the charging to take place only when the USB data line is active (which doesn’t exist nor necessary with mains chargers).
Here are the options if you want to charge a PS3 controller:
1) Power up PlayStation 3 machine with power consumption in tens of watts (depends on model and at least 75W when idle);
2) Power up your laptop or Desktop PC and plug PS3 controller into the USB port as for PlayStation, and again unnecessary power consumption as for PS3 if not much more for desktop PC. The laptop or PC thinks a device is attached and activates the data line in effect doing what Sony intended;
3) By a special charger unit that emulates Sony’s peculiar charging condition (same as the 5V mains charger but activate the data line on the power connector pin – which is unnecessary to start with).
Sony did not only make it impossible to use ordinary chargers that only consumes a watt or two for charging PS3 controllers, the Sony way is environmentally unfriendly and inconsistent with the current trend when we are becoming increasingly conscious of the cost of energy and the environment.
Forgive the rant but hope you’d appreciate the point as valid and useful product feedback by customers.
I also hope Sony takes notice of this.
