Excellent produc
Excellent product and well made from BOSCH as always. Compared with other multitools I have had this one is a lot better lower on the hand vibrations. Blades a little more expensive but overall well worth its money.
Perfect for jobs you didn't know even existed
Very versatile used for cutting out an inner side kitchen base unit could not access any other way

Great Product!
Bought for my partner for Christmas and it is fantastic. The size isn’t too big and it isn’t clumpy either. The weight is perfect and yes maybe corded can be a nuisance, we found it to work perfect for what we need.
Not bad but glad I got it on offer!
The machine is quite good but the free blades are not very good, going to try some other blades and may review my review
Handy little tool..
A very handy little piece of kit.
Went on line and purchased an adaptor to use the cheaper brands of cutters and work fine.(ebay)
So far so good for grout (except corners), wood, plastic and metal
Has been super handy for cutting the grout to get tiles out. Could be better in corners as can’t get it into a three point corner with any of the grout blades. Has also cut wood and metal screws well.

Great for cutting laminate flooring and flooring trim pieces look door bars

Been invaluable when laying laminate. Cuts round the door jams and gives a good finish. Will try it on other materials but excellent so far.

Cant give a proper review as have only used once, that was quite successful.
Must have for DIY
Do practice with this and don’t just start using straight away. It’s too easy to make a poor cut and take too much off and at the wrong angle. Other than that it’s great for architrave and tight spots where a hammer and chisel would make a mess.

Easy to understand and use , straight out of the box
Probably more a hobby tool
I used it to take 10cm off the end of a door. There was not enough depth in the cut, so it had to be cut on both sides and in small amounts. Thus, it was a little tedious and difficult to ensure a neat finish. However, I like it and it did the job.

Good value but …….
The tool is efficient but having to buy the handle separately is ridiculous and even more frustrating is that, having purchased the handle, it won’t fit in the box in which the tool is supplied. Come on Bosch, sell the complete kit.
Separately the address label on the package said ‘Next Day’ and it took 3 days to arrive.

Solid tool
My third multitool. Just a DIYer but it would have saved me money if I had just bought Bosch in the first place. Better bits, better insides that don’t overheat or disintegrate. Good tool.

Functional & reliable
I bought this after buying a slightly cheaper generic branded one from a well known DIY store that failed after 7 months of barely any use. I returned it and got this Bosch. I have already used it to plunge cut a hole in kitchen units to install a washing machine.
Almost all DIY stores stock Starlock blades and so does EBay where you can get them for 4 to 5 each.
You pay for what you get and cheap tools will bite you in the behind when you least expect it, hence going the Bosch route.

Bosch quality but check which tool(s) you will want to use
Doesnt use ‘star plus’ but not ‘star max’ tools which ate needed for longer reach.
First job was cutting through 50mm sink worktop so needed longer reach tool options.
Great tool and a great price!
Used this tool today for the first time in fitting a new kitchen plug socket. Cut through plasterboard neatly and effortlessly. Also had to cut a section of kitchen unit out for access and again no problem.

Decent bit of ki
I have used this to cut MDF board, chip board, laminate and brick work and has got the task done. The starlock system is really easy to use although for cheap replacement blades it does pose an issue.

Needed a multi tool for a job that needed doing. Saw this one at a great price so bought it. Cut plastic corrigated roof sheeting with ease.
Great tool if using occasionally
Good product but you will find when you need new blades they are expensive. If you were to use this tool on a daily basis it could cost you a lot in extra blades over a year. Maybe there is more economical products. As a DIY tool I cant fault it so far it has done all I’ve asked of it.

A great tool for all DIYers first saw one used by a joiner and thought it was a great piece of kit so bought this one and have to say it hasn’t disappointed.

Powerful and versatile, very useful for DIY jobs
So far the best tool I bought to redecorate my house. Managed to cut a thick kitchen laminate worktop in minutes and also cut some tiles (with a few sparkles- wear glasses!). Strong and powerful, is really worth it.
Wish it would come with a handle though and extra blades, those can be quite expensive, being the starlock system a non-standard one. Hoping in some prime day discount.
Essential tool
I’ve never owned a multitool before. Since purchasing, I’ve use it for cutting wood, sanding, cutting holes in dry wall and removing grout from between bathroom tiles. Remarkably easy to use and great value. The variable speed is also very handy.
It has the Bosch name
It seems sound but, as others have said, there are less expensive brands on the market that are just as good and accept standard tools, which are a lot less expensive. I can’t see any advantages to this Bosch except that it is Bosch. It’s not good value for money, really.
Excellent muti-tool. Value for money.
I had another multi tool that didn’t work very well and the attachments were rubbish. This Bosch one is excellent and so easy to use. A quality item that is well worth the extra money.
A great addition to the tool ches
I’ve used it for sanding, and for cutting with the straight edge oscillating blade and find it very useful!
This tool is just simply powerful and well made. The motor is relatively quiet and minimal vibration on the handle compared with Bosch GOP 12V multi tool. Cuts wood like hot knife over frozen butter! The Bosch blades are expensive but it gets the job done a lot faster!. Very happy with it! Totally recommend it to whoever is contemplating to get a multi tool by Bosch. None of my Bosch tools have ever failed me or died yet (even after 20years)

Good for Smaller Lighter Applications
This is an interesting piece of kit. It has numerous cutting, sanding and grinding applications. However there are some weaknesses which after 5 weeks use are becoming apparent. The thread on the fixing screw on the head is already showing signs of wear even at this early stage. Think you might need to go further up the range to get the most resilient tool for the heavier jobs

Amazing at cutting, rubbish at sanding
As a sander this is pretty weak and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it if that is what you want to prioritise the use of this tool for. But for getting through wood (especially with the wood only blades) it is absolutely incredible. I use it for all of my hardwood joint work.

Broke on first day of use.
Very disappointed as the item broke straight away. However after a bit of hassle Bosch did replace the complete item. The new one is working fine.
