Eradicate Condensation

Condensation appearing on the inside of your windows is a key warning sign that your room has a problem with high humidity and trapped moisture. This excess moisture can lead to major problems for the adjacent area, such as your walls staining, discolouring, and even peeling. Fight excess moisture at home with a dehumidifier.

Humidity & Respiratory Problems

High humidity has been directly linked to many respiratory problems, particularly in young children. It provides the perfect breeding ground for dust mites which live in your furniture, carpets and bedding. Reducing humidity helps eradicate mites and prevents airborne triggers, improving the quality of air around you.

Combat Damp & Black Mould

Mould is a common problem in many households. It can indicate high humidity and may cause your room to smell unpleasant and musty. Black Mould is the most toxic and can release harmful mycotoxins into the air. It starts to grow at 50% humidity, so it is vital that you control your rooms humidity level to prevent its growth.

I am very happy with this product. It has tremendously reduced the condensation from my windows and it also has raised up a bit temperature in my conservatory while using it.

This is possibly one of the best dehumidifiers on the market. The product is easy to use, it came with simple instructions, and the icons on the machine are pretty much self-explanatory, hence there is no need to resort to the detailed instruction manual.

I have constantly used this dehumidifier over the past six months and it has never let me down. It warms up the house fairly quickly. The item arrived within 24 hours after purchase.

So far I have had a pleasant experience using the product.

Having had the small chemical dehumidifiers in my bedroom for years i was simply amazed at how much better this is! On the first night it removed 1L of water and 800ml the second night. It has completely changed the atmosphere in my bedroom and improved the air quality beyond belief.

Good small unit which suited my needs. The tank could have been a little larger as you need to empty twice per day on wet days. Would buy agai

Just what we needed to keep humidity at bay after workers exposed damaged moisture membrane. Plenty of setting to choose from and relatively fast. Can recommend.

I got this due to condensation issues in the morning. Everytime I woke up, I’m assuming that the River Nile was re routed through my bedroom windowsills. I tried buying a condenser dehumidifier to solve the issue, but because my bedroom temp was only 11 degrees, it kept freezing over. They are absolutely useless for the UK. So anyway, I got this.
It’s robust and well made, as it should be for a price tag of just under 200.
I put it on from 7pm-8am and it extracted 1 and a quarter tanks full! Thats around 6 pints of water. An insane amount. I opened my curtains, with a hopeful glimmer in my eyes. As the curtains spread apart, to my amazement there was absolutely zero condensation on the windows! The small damp spot on the wall that was being slowly created and worsened over time, had completely vanished. Like seriously, I wont even need to repaint it. I wasn’t happy about one thing, my poodle was asleep next to the dehumidifier during the night, when I woke up, he had shrunk and looked something like a rice crispy. I had to quickly throw a bucket of water on him to return him to his normal state. He’s OK now and I’ve moved his dog bed to the other side of the bedroom.
Jokes aside, the reason for one less star is that it could do with a handle on top to move it around. I feel as though I could drop it due to the size. It doesn’t weigh much, but it is bulky.

It kicks a bit of heat out of the top, made my room go from its usual 11 degrees to 12.6 degrees, which was a nice bonus. The noise didn’t bother me, even when it kicked in to full power. I used it on eco mode so it kept flicking between high and low speeds. The only time I woke up was when the unit beeped at me to inform me that the tank was full. I would also like to note that it has no accurate humidity level reader, like other units I’ve seen. It tells you the room humidity, but only in 10’s. So 40% 50% and 60%. I set mine at 50% and let the machine do the rest. It wasn’t a big deal to me because I have a seperate gadget for monitoring the humidity levels.

Would deffo recomend, which I have to family members already.

One more time – don’t waste your time with condenser dehumidifier, especially if you don’t keep every room you need it in at over 20 degrees Celsius.

I wanted a dehumidifier but was so worried about the usage costs as in england at moment the energy costs are so high. I read that these type of dehumidifier cost more to run but I still went for this one.
On testing the power it actually runs on less power than my tumble dryer. And 3 times less than my economy electric heater. I use it on low setting.
Since using this I have actually limited the use of my heater as this gets rid of the moisture in the air which makes the room feel warmer. So it’s saving me money.
If I use my heater it’s virtually for 5 minutes as since using the dehumidifier it heats the room so much quicker as well.
The settings I love as it’s so easy to set it up .
Just 3 slight negative points. (1) When you are setting it up it is turned on so you getting the blown air in your face. It’s a pity you cannot set it up with it on standby mode and simply press power on to then run it.
    (2) the water drawer can be bit awkward to push in. I’m always worried if I push to hard and I break it.
    (3) I wish it had some sort of handle . Or wheels. It’s not actually heavy but it’s just easier to move about if it had handle or even better with wheels.
But this is really worth purchasing so go for it.

Very good product, warms the room 2-3 deg when in use so helps the heating. It’s been eye opening how much moisture was present – not anymore! Highly recommend

Easy to set up and operate. I was shocked by the volume of water it extracted to start with, but also pleasantly surprised by the added benefit of the warmth that came from it when on full power. Using this in a conservatory and hence I selected this machine because it also works at a very low temperature. A happy purchase so far.

Bought for a single skin brick built art and pottery studio which is only sparsely heated. Despite only being a small space this wonderful thing sucked over three pints of water out of air in the first couple of hours of use. The studio now feels warmer, there’s no more mould on the window and my paint, glazes and clay are actually drying. It’s way better than I’d expected it to be, having only had a condensing one before which did virtually nothing. I can actually see the percentage dropping on the humidity monitor.

Bought this after a comment from a friend – using a dehumidifier in a house to help condensation on windows. With such high humidify and gas prices what they are a 3 bed 30s detached with 10y old windows can be tricky to keep comfortable on a budget. This purchase changed that . Not cheap and I can see what has been said about the draw being tricky but a couple of hours on each floor for a few hours and in two days the house is like a new place . Easier to heat . Weeping windows almost gone and the air is much improved. Even kids have noticed the difference . Overall super happy

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAbsolutely delighted with this. I live on a narrowboat and humidity was a real issue, with humidity levels frequently getting above 90% and damaging the wood in some of the wall panels and causing mould problems in damp corners. My old 40 ProBreeze one was just too small for the job, capable of removing 500ml from the air per day.

This dehumidifier has given me control over the humidity again, capable of removing up to ten litres of water a day from the air. Overnight it has frequently pulled three or four pints of water out of the air, and my windows have never had condensation on them since I switched it on a few days.

It’s super easy to use and requires very little maintenance. The sound isn’t much louder than a desk fan on normal/low, I don’t mind it much and I’m very sound sensitive.

Highly recommended – I wish I’d bought it years ago. My humidity is now sitting at a cool 51%. This plus a couple of small HEPA air purifiers have made all the difference.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersBought for an unheated sunroom/ conservatory that has large aluminium doors that get sopping wet with condensation in winter, it also gets cold (12 deg C) at night. This dessicant type dehumidifier fits the bill perfectly – can set the humidity level to (say) 50% and leave it on its timer, so far the windows are bone dry next morning and the problem is totally eliminated. Water tank is 1/4 full next day. Has separate drain hose (supplied) outlet if needed instead. Two power levels plus auto, and it switches down/ off automatically so uses less power. Decent build quality, easy to carry too. Relatively quiet on the lower setting but I might struggle with one in eg a bedroom. Very pleased with this purchase.

UPDATED (Nov 22) They have since changed the design and raised the price, seems the new one doesn’t have a carrying handle or moving vent on top, but has a clear water tank.

This dehumidifier is a cracking bit of kit!
After the first day though I had to create a permanent drain through the garage wall as it was filling the tank every few hours.
It comes with the option of doing this and all the bits required. Now it just sits there running quietly and distributing warmer air through my garage. Absolutely love it.

This dehumidifier was purchased as a replacement when our previous model came to the end of its life leaking all over the carpeted floor. I vowed at this point never to have another refrigerant type. This is the 7th dehumidifier that I have bought in my somewhat long lifetime & I am thankful to say it is the best one yet. They have come a long way over the years and I feel that the Desicant type really is the best for us especially to avoid the regular noisy defrosting hissing of the refrigerant defrosting process. It is also much lighter in weight to move around. The choice of air direction is a feature that I haven’t experienced on previous dehumidifiers & it is proving very useful so far.

This particular one, the ProBreeze 10L is extremely quiet in operation and although it has a large 3L water tank I prefer to utilize the continuous drainage mode sitting it on a small unit & draining into a large water container. I use it to control the atmosphere in our attic craft room where I use a sewing machine & a couple of knitting machines as well as storing yarns. Damp in the atmosphere would not be ideal for this. I have been using this continually now for just over a month and I am very impressed & absolutely delighted with it.
The supplier & customer service team responded very quickly to establish a fault with the first one that was sent & replaced it very quickly. I am really pleased that we were able to reap the benefits of having this particular model & the atmosphere when I am working in the attic room is vastly improved which is brilliant. All in all it is the best appliance that I have purchased in a long time & I hope that this continues to be so with the passage of time.

I have this in my utility room thats attached to the house. I dry laundry on washing lines inside the room during winter. This unit will extract water from the clothes even without the heating on in winter, it’s amazing. Obviousy if I put a small oil filled raditator in there on a medium heat to get the room temp to about 16-18 degrees c, performance is improved dramatically and the clothes are dry in about 3 – 4 hours. But either way it takes all the moisutire out overnight and I have no damp issues fom drying clothes in my house. Highly recomended.

This dehumidifier is very quick at drying clothes. It’s brilliant at getting all the wet air dry. I put it on for 2 hrs on the landing , that’s all it needs to be on, drys the air, it stops all condensation on windows and will help if you have damp. I would highly recommend it. I have had different ones in the past, not as good. It’s very lightweight to carry where ever you need it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBoth Brand new. Researched and then tested by myself:
Whilst the Meaco cost me 80 more there is good reason. It’s built far better and has more functionality and a Hepa filter.
The ProBreeze was superior on removing vapour/humidity. Both humidistats were quite accurate to the Govee H5705 Room Thermostats.

My usage was in a 10 enviroment as Gas is permanently off here. Sadly the Meaco was far too noisy and drew out very little water It woke me up every time it switched on, now being returned. I did purchase another ProBreeze depending on the vapour/humidity here.

Final deduction of costs per year was 350 @ 0.51 inc tax, to run 2 of these probreeze. But, bonus points were humidity down to 50-55% from 85% average, bathroom dry within 2 hours, towels always feel dry, bed feels warm to first touch, carpets no longer feel wet.
Gas bill down from 2240 to 840 as lower temperature can be accepted because of dryer, cleaner environment.
Total saving in first year 1050.
    Sounds crazy doesn’t it!

    Hope this helps.

I got this as a short term solution for my shed that has a problem with humidity and is not heated so I couldn’t use regular dehumidifiers. It’s been working great and I’ve got my shed to 40% rh from the 80% it had before. Once we get to warmer weather I’ll apply a more permanent fix and start using the dehumidifier to dry out clothes faster 🙂

This little gem is genuinely the best thing I have ever purchased. I first bought one 2 years ago via Amazon Spain for our cold, damp stone house in central Portugal. It is in constant use in the winter and we no longer have a black mould problem – dry air is also much easier (and cheaper) to heat!! Believe me, if it ever ‘dies’ it will be replaced immediately. I recently purchased another, via Amazon UK, for my daughter’s damp bathroom in the North of England. She loves it too! The walls no longer run with condensation when the bath or shower is used and there isn’t that shock when you step out of a hot shower into a cold, damp room! Worth every penny and doesn’t cost a fortune to run either.

After a lot of agonising we purchased this Pro Breeze 10L desiccant dehumidifier for our brick outhouse which gets very sweaty at this time of year.

We purchased this in November 2021 and it’s now mid January 2022, so far so good it’s very dry out there now.

We don’t leave our dehumidifier out there all the time but only put it in there when the moisture starts to form lightly on the painted bricks (we didn’t paint the bricks the previouspeoplewho livedhere did) so it’s not in constant use only when needed otherwise it’s going to run the electric bill up and up which is why we set it for 2 hours each use, it’susuallyenoughforour requirements here!

The machine will automatically stop running when the humidity drops significantly and stay in a standby mode whether the onboard countdown timer is set or not. If the timer is set the machine will shut down and won’t restart again till you command it to!

If the timer is set the machine will cycle on and off according to the moisture conditions but will shut down after the designated set time. If the timer is not set then the machine will cycle on and off according to the moisture conditions but won’t shut down till you command it to!

You cannot use a plug in socket timer for this particular model… if you can we don’t know how to do that but we don’t personally think you can anyway.

The carrying handle is ok but sometimes it’s best to put your other hand under it for extra support especially if there’s water in the tank.

This machine really does pull moisture out of the air efficiently, more than we ever imagined.

From the mains using a watt meter it was pulling 710 watts on high setting and 410 watts on the low setting, slightly more than what it says in the instructions but it is 240 volts here in the UK not 220 volts.

We do appreciate some owners may have had good ones and problematic ones but ours seems ok 7 weeks into use but the water draw looks slightly pushed in about 1mm more than it should but it’s not an awful thing because it does the job for the purpose intended.

We’ll try and put some images up for you but this is certainly worth considering for any damp issues.

I bought this to replace a Meaco DDL8 and so far it is a superior unit. It’s smaller, easier to move with the built in handle and quieter when running. In addition it’s proving to be much more efficient pulling out more water. My only criticism is that it’s not as easy to empty where the plastic lid is fiddly to remove and replace. Apart from that I’m extremely pleased.

    Quite and very efficie

Takes our ambient humidity from over 70% down to 50-55% very quick on low settings and even when drying laundry in the room (20 sqm). On top of healthier air, it solved the window condensation issue.
Requires emptying every 2 days on average. Isn’t very noisy, even on high settings (however we have it on low settings 99% of the time). Easy to move around and look good. Very happy with this purchase and can only recommend!

The only observation I would make on the negative side is the supplied drainage hose is far too stiff. I had to use rocks to weigh the hose down in a couple of places otherwise it was creating a lock which was freezing.

I got this after trying all other dehumidifiers.

First I got the aero 360 ( it was ok but if your humidity level is up , you may need to look elsewhere)

Then got a 12l compressor dehumidifier which was good but only if the temperature was around 25’C. When the temperature drops it still worked but collected way less water.

Finally I got this, Yes it might be a bit more costly to run but is way more efficient and effective.

Cannot believe how much water this is taking out of the air! It also gently warms the room too. I run mine on an off peak tariff for 2 hours each night and costs me about 10p! Previously we were getting condensation on our windows, running this for 2 hours a night keeps all the upstairs windows dry.
