Pro Breeze® 10L Desiccant Dehumidifier with Timer, Air Filter, Continuous Drainage, Digital Control Panel – Ideal for Cold Temperatures in Damp Homes, Basements & Garages
Eradicate Condensation
Condensation appearing on the inside of your windows is a key warning sign that your room has a problem with high humidity and trapped moisture. This excess moisture can lead to major problems for the adjacent area, such as your walls staining, discolouring, and even peeling. Fight excess moisture at home with a dehumidifier.
Humidity & Respiratory Problems
High humidity has been directly linked to many respiratory problems, particularly in young children. It provides the perfect breeding ground for dust mites which live in your furniture, carpets and bedding. Reducing humidity helps eradicate mites and prevents airborne triggers, improving the quality of air around you.
Combat Damp & Black Mould
Mould is a common problem in many households. It can indicate high humidity and may cause your room to smell unpleasant and musty. Black Mould is the most toxic and can release harmful mycotoxins into the air. It starts to grow at 50% humidity, so it is vital that you control your rooms humidity level to prevent its growth.

This dehumidifier currently sits in a drafty 3 bay garage (image attached for side reference) to help keep condensation build up and in turn rust from my cars.
Having had it on in this garage for an hour it is noticeably dryer and warmer, even during the super cold weather we have had recently. It can easily fill the water chamber at the bottom in half a day.
The added option to drain directly via the included hose is great although for my needs it was not long enough so I had to extend it.
The timer works reliably and it automatically switches off when the water chamber at the bottom is full.
I have no issues with this unit and do not regret buying this at all. It has worked perfectly so far down to -2 degrees which we have had recently.
I bought this machine as I have a compressor dehumidifier which doesn’t work in colder temperatures, and as my house gets cold, and I rarely put the heating on, it can get as low as 8-9 in the middle of winter. The compressor goes into defrost mode and doesn’t work. If you’re thinking of buying a compressor dehumidifier because they’re cheaper to buy, and cheaper to run, don’t bother if you intend on using it below 15, It WONT work.
Firstly, I have to say this new one is so much lighter than my old compressor one, and will be easier to move around so I can use it upstairs and downstairs.
Secondly, if used on low mode you can barely hear it. I have to mute the tv just to see if it’s actually running. It gets a bit louder on high, but still slightly quieter than the compressor one.
And lastly I love that it heats the room at the same time by at least 3 degrees. My bedroom went from 13 to 16 in no time. It might not sound like much, but it actually feels a lot warmer when it’s running.
I got almost a full tank of water the first day from running it on various modes for half the day. High, low and auto. I ran it for two hours today on high and got another jug full of water (see photo).
I’m still working out how much electric it’s using. I will try and update if I remember. It uses more or less depending on whether you have it on high or low obviously.
No problems to report yet, but will also update if any occur. I’m very happy with this machine and would recommend it at the moment. If I don’t update my review, you can assume everything is good and no problems have occurred.
I bought this dehumidifier for my boat which spends 95% of its time sitting in the marina. I purchased it because about every two weeks I was having to clean mold off the inside of cabinets and under the mattress and everywhere. It was very annoying and unhealthy.
I needed a dehumidifier that could work quickly to clear the air (because every time you open the door on a boat very humid air pours in). And I needed the option of leaving it for long periods without much attention from me.
This dehumidifier is a really well-engineered piece of equipment. I say this because my friend who is an engineer loved it so much, he couldn’t stop talking about how well it was made. It runs very quietly and didn’t take much effort to figure out how to program the level of humidity I desire.
When I leave the boat, I set it up on the countertop so the water will drain continuously into the sink. When I am staying on the boat, I set it on the floor and empty the water container by hand so it doesn’t bother me in the galley.
It worked like a champ for almost a whole year. About a month ago, it began making some rattling noises that progressed to a very loud rattle that would wake me up at night when it cycled on. I emailed the company and with very little effort, I was immediately sent a new one. They were incredibly responsive and even offered to refund me. But I love this dehumidifier and preferred to try again. I highly recommend this dehumidifier and this seller. Incredibly experience overall.
Dessicant dehumidifiers work wonders in old, cold, damp, Scottish houses! Very efficient given they also warm the room. Super for drying laundry.
Not a very quiet machine on either setting, but with very impressive performance on full power – collecting it’s 3 litres capacity of water in about 6 hours, depending on conditions.
Wasn’t sure which one to get, went for this one as it works down to 1 degree and I think my workshop will be cold in winter. I had 89% humidity in my 5m x 4m farm workshop within an afternoon it was down to 65%. It is now a constant 56% – it’s my printshop and my paper was curling whilst drying and books felt damp now it’s perfect and I can leave prints out to dry. Continuous drain facility is really handy. It does warm the air too which is a bonus in an unheated workshop. Yet to see the electricity bill but once it got the humidity down it does switch off until the humidity rises then kicks in again so I don’t expect it to be too bad.
Soon clears condensation. Does give off warmth so not sure how economical it will be. Good you can set a timer, but a shame it jumps from 4 hours to 8 hours
I was a bit dubious using a dessicant type given the lower 10l per day extraction, but I’m surprised to say this performs better in the usual house temperature range (upto 23 degrees Celsius) than other coolant type dehumidifiers rated at 20l per day. I think this is because the coolant types need much warmer room temperature of around 28-30 degrees to get close to the quoted extraction rate.
So I’m pleasantly surprised by this unit is very quiet too, and it pumps out a little warm air as it’s working so I don’t need the heating on so much when I’m using it either.
Good dehumidifier. Does the job. I would prefer it to be a bit quieter especially at the high speed. Also there is no child lock which would be very nice to have.
It was able to fill its tank in about 6-7hrs, quite impressive compared to the cheaper ones I tried first. Also the warm air it releases is an added bonus in this colder climate. Actually, I have a Pro Breeze 1500ml which has been running in the kitchen/laundry for over a week and still hasn’t been able to collect 1.5L. Before that, I had a Russel Hobbs 1L which couldn’t fill its tank, that was running for 3 days before I dumped it. So short story, impressive so far.
UPDATE: I have sensors in the 2 rooms at opposite ends of the apartment. They show that it has brought the apartment down to around 40% and now it runs very quiet and fills a lot slower. I empty the tank about once every 12 hours now. This is highly recommended.

Had the Pro Breeze sat in the cellar for almost a month now on constant drain and low speed and it’s doing a great job, no stopping or cutting out/failing which standard compressors units can do (as my last one did)
I have this working alongside a Warm Air Dehumidifier (WAD) extractor in the cellar, my humidity levels have dropped from 93% to an average of around 40% which has made the space useable as a workshop and storage space. With the Pro Breeze alone the average was around 50-55% not bad as long as you don’t mind running the unit all the time.
Fantastic dehumidifier.
I bought this for a house in which I used to live, close by the sea and which received little sunlight. So classic damp place.
This dehumidifier transformed the living space. It took out so much water from the air every day. Very impressive.
I now use it in the winter for drying clothes indoors, for which it does a fantastic job.
Really impressed, even after almost 18 months!
I ordered this product as I have an old conservatory that dripped along the ridge and the glass internally was also wet.
Within a day, the conservatory was dry and has been ever since.
It’s really simple to use and the tank is a decent size for water collection.
If I’m honest, when I ordered it, I thought it was expensive but looking back, it’s well worth the money.
All in very good. The water tank fills within 8 hours and emptying is a bit of a pain as it is a very tight fit and you will spill water when taking the tank out.
I have not drilled a hole in the wall to use the supplied hose to drain continuously. But that will be easier.
Excellent addition to my cold external large double garage. Has kept the moisture down and slightly warmed the air since its installation. requires emptying about once per day, but that’s no hassle. Just what I wanted!
We use our conservatory all the time, for coats, boots and our dogs practically live in it. I had an old dehumidifier, which over time was getting less and less effective to the point it packed in. I was daily having to remove excessive moisture by other means. Bought this and during one afternoon it has totally transformed the room from being constantly full of moisture to dry and smelling fresher.
The unit is small enough to move around easily, it is much quieter than my previous unit, it is incredibly easy to use, and it was as stated very effective very quickly. Extremely pleased with this purchase, not cheap, but I think worth the money.
For the price, I can’t fault this product. It’s pretty light and portable but large and powerful enough to make a big difference fairly quickly. It doesn’t use a compressor so it’s pretty quiet, sounding like a desk fan. Our cellar was pretty damp and a bit mouldy before but now we de-humidify about once a fortnight and we have had no problems since. It stopped smelling and feels nicer so this product has done the trick. The internal water storage isn’t massive but it has a hose for continuous drainage so we just shove a bucket under it and leave it for a few hours. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.
Does the work perfectly. It removes all the humidity. For some reason there is always humidity in our rented place and due to this it causes mould and damp to fill up the walls. Since we have a baby now as it is not healthy to live in a mouldy place. I initially bought Pro Breeze 500ml compact, it did not work for us. Basically did nothing. Hence ordered this product it removes all the humidity in the room and keeps the room damp free.
Good looking!
Easy to move around, and to store. Its sufficiently sturdy but also light enough to move from space to space. Collects water with an easy to negotiate slide in tray.
Gives off a surprising amount of residual heat thats handy to take the chill off an empty space.
A diverse range of options offered for flexible use.
So I have had this for a week now. Today is 07.10.2020 and the weather has been averaging around 11C in the day and 7C at night. I live in a small 2 bed 1900s solid brick cottage with electric heating and without any extractor fans. To allow ventilation I have had to keep windows at least on a latch and with British climate the humidity outdoors has been sitting about 70-80%. My house has been pretty cold and with heating on low (to save bills) the house was sitting on 16C indoors with about 70% humidity.
With this dehumidifier I have been able to keep all my windows closed and maintain 40% humidity (windows open only while showering or cooking with doors closed) and the heat output has heated my entire house to 23C – 24C. My main heating has been off all week and replaced with the heat from this dehumidifier. I now have an issue where I am too hot and have to turn the dehumidifier down to cool down a bit but sacrifice full dehumidifying benefits. Within a week I have saved money on heating and gone from walking around wrapped in slippers dressing gown and blankets to bare foot and in shorts!
If you live in a small house and with windows closed you can expect this to provide some serious heat! Do not fear though because you can just turn the setting down to low and save energy. I would say this costs me about 9p an hour on full or 5p on low.
So to conclude this has been revolutionary. I have replaced a total of 5.5kw electric heating battling windows on a latch heating my house at 16C and 70% humidity with a 0.68/0.35kw dehumidifier with closed windows.
EXTRA: I highly recommend this to anyone with similar housing and if you do I also recommend an air purifier so you can ensure your air quality stays much cleaner to outside. Another fun fact that most people may already know but I have only become aware of is that the more humid the air obviously the more water but also the more it will cost to heat all those pints of unnecessary water in the air. So not only has this become a great humidity solution it has become a fantastic heating solution too.
Hope this helps someone!
Absolutely over the moon with this product. Our bathroom has been damp and Mold has started appearing as there is no extractor fan, but this dehumidifier has done wonders. Love the fact that it blows worm air as well (woohoo bonus). Would have liked a longer cord on it (as it’s not meant to be used with extension lead) but all in all it’s been taken all over the house wherever I feel the humidity (old house you see!). It’s so satisfying to empty the water container and feel the difference in the air. Once it’s sucked in loads of humility out of the air I just leave it on automatic and it works on (I suppose) a sensor. Fantastic dehumidifier, love it.
We don’t have a problem with damp exactly, just some condensation on windows, nothing worrying. I bought this just to reduce the RH, as it’s little high sometimes, and coming into the colder months we tend to hang clothes inside to dry. So, I wanted to make sure the humidity is under control and the clothes dry faster. So far, so good.
I find this product to be a handy little heater too (as it blows out warmish air), on those evenings where it’s chilly but not enough to turn on the central heating. And as the humidity drops, it feels even dryer and more comfortable. The air smells great in the room after a while too, really fresh.
It’s good to have too for occasional drying out of the wardrobes – open them up and be amazed at the amount of water removed.
If you want to reduce the humidity properly in your house, stop wasting money on disposable desiccants, and get this.

I am so impressed with this little machine so far. It is relatively light, feels well built and good quality, it’s easy to use and our laundry now dries in a fraction of the time and using less energy.
We’ve ditched our old tumble dryer, the electric radiator barely comes on but the laundry room is still wonderfully warm and because it does such a good job of sucking the moisture out of the air we can keep the windows shut too. There are no more rivers of condensation running down the walls and the window panes are clear and dry.
I was dubious about trying a desiccant dehumidifier but I am totally converted and I love this little box of genius.
The buttons feel good and positive to touch, the settings are easy to understand and it just works well without any hassle.
I’m in love with this machine. I really am. Can’t imagine how I could have lived without it. Sucks up humidity effectively, looks good, easy to use. I’m afraid it also sucks up electricity, but nobody’s perfect. No rattle sound like others experienced.
Edit: after a month or so it developed the same rattling sound as others experienced. It must be some kind of minor design failure, I don’t know, humidity affects fan arm? something like that? It rattles only on low setting. I can cope with that as no-one sleeps in the room it usually operates. Anyways, still sucks up loads of water in our house.

Very pleased with this purchase which I have to dry out an under pavement vault store. Very quiet and efficient with lots of setting options, fan speed, desired humidity etc. Water tank is capacious and easy to remove for emptying. Wish I had got this long ago. Worth the money definitely. Only problem is that it does produce quite a lot of heat, which some people may appreciate…..
I bought this to replace my previous desiccant dehumidifier that had served me well for a good number of years. If this one does equally as well I’ll be delighted. So far, I’ve been impressed by its good design, smoothness of operation and rate of water extraction. The additional controls (such as the humidity indicator and settings) will be useful too. The adjustable “swing” of the air output will be a huge benefit to some who need to direct the flow of air. The water container on this model also has a handle (which my previous one didn’t), so it’s far easier to carry for emptying when full, without accidentally spilling any.
On the assumption that it’ll prove to be reliable, I have no hesitation in recommending this model to anyone. The wide temperature range that it continues to extract water within is ideal for me and probably many others too.
Some people have complained that it makes a rattling noise. My one does make a noise, but its more like a ticking noise,a mechanical noise because the fan is rotating inside and also the wheel that contains the Desiccant.I’ve noticed it does not make this noise all the time. The reason I hear the noise is because the dehumidifier is quiet when it is running. The fan on low power is very quiet compared to my other dehumidifier which has a compressor and that noise is intrusive. The amount of very warm air produced from the Pro breeze will be great in the colder months of the year for heating my bedroom up a bit quicker. Its using about 380 to 390 watts in low power mode. When it reaches the target humidity you have set it turns off.It then comes back on when it senses the humidity has risen in the room. Its using about 120 watts more than the compressor dehumidifier I have.I also think it might be removing more water from the air than the compressor dehumidifier.I’ll have to wait for the colder damper weather to really see what it can remove. October 2021.Smell has gone now but the noise it makes is annoying, its like a constant tapping noise.I have another dehumidifier that uses the same method of dehumidification except that it is very quiet, you only hear the fan noise.
Bought this for our cellar because it felt like it had damp air and some old clothes were getting mould/mildew on them down there. This thing has COMPLETELY changed our basement and made it liveable again. Once we set it up, it was filling the water reservoir every day for the first few days, just showing that it’s doing its job. After a week the basement was notably different. We still empty it once a week or so now (after having it for >6 months).
It’s reliable and feels robust. I’ve not heard any unusual sounds coming from it, but if it’s on automatic mode and the air is very humid, the fan can be quite loud at first. We have put it in a certain position and don’t move it so can’t comment on manoeuvrability but it’s easy to access and empty the reservoir.
If you’re thinking that your cellar/basement is a bit damp but would like to make it nicer down there, BUY THIS. It has worked a treat for us.

Unit arrived well packaged and on time. Put it work immediately. Filled up the tank with water straight away. Other half was concerned about how much it was costing energy wise, but I showed him the water it took out of my bathroom and explained how it worked. Once it’s reached my requested % humidity it monitors the atmosphere to keep it regulated, thereby reducing the initial costs. I can, see the difference in my bathroom straight away. Hoping to prevent the return of black mould on my walls now. Testing in other rooms around the house now too. Easy to move and isn’t heavy(unless the tank has loads of water, which I wouldn’t recommend) . Over the moon so far.
I bought this to fix a damp problem in a rented flat.
The first time I had it on I was constantly emptying the tank! It’s now down to a normal level and the difference is noticeable.
It’s a large unit, but that is understandable given it’s powerful and contains a decent sized tank.
Pros:
– Very effective
– Also heats the room
– Able to set target moisture levels and the unit turns itself on and off according to that
– Able to set a timer to automatically shut off
Cons:
– It can be a quite noisy
I really can’t fault this product and is amazing how much water it manages to get from rooms. It was originally purchased to make a cellar less humid and after 4 hours of it running it had filled half of the removable water tray inside the unit. As another test I also had it running in an upstairs room and after another 4 hours of it running had filled about a 1/3 of the water tray.
The unit is simple to use, easy to transport, not that heavy. I really haven’t enough plaudits for the unit and is everything I wanted from it.
All in all I would highly recommend this product and, for me, excellent value for money
I love to purchase a product and for it to be very intuitive and effective. This was totally the case here. You plug this in, set the desired humidity and leave it alone. The machine does the rest, as confirmed by a hygrometer and a few weeks later the absence of any black mould.
Versus my old dehumidifier (a compressor type) this is quiet and a LOT more effective at pulling moisture out of the air. I can dry 5 to 6 kg of clothing from a 1400rpm spin in a few hours! The previous machine would have taken overnight.
Would buy another in a heartbeat.
Firstly, very prompt delivery thank you Amazon. Having done homework on these products I chose this over the others because I was hoping for reliability. Hopefully I’ll update when my damp season has ended as summer begins. Some reviewers mentioned an initial smell or for much longer. I found mine to have not an unpleasant minor odour when first used but after a day it’s gone completely. Reviews also mentioned noise, well I’ve used mine for two days on a low setting and can’t hear it when directly outside my bedroom door.
It’s drawn a 3l tankful in the first 24 hours on that setting but this all depends on the environment it’s being used in of course.
It’s easy to use, light enough to move around and seems well put together. In this early stage I would recommend a buy
It ok take to look at as dehumidifiers go, it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles some do eg laundry mode but, not sure some things are of much use, it has a timer and various humidity level settings and no big light shows which I think is a bonus. It just seems to dehumidify, what more can I really ask of it. May comment as mentioned in a month or two hopefully with positivity.
I started to look in to dehumidifiers, read all the relevant information and found out that a desiccant one would be best for a particularly damp room and that they operate at low temperatures. I am more than happy with my product, the room no longer has a damp smell and I have so far used the dehumidifier for four hours daily only and have over a litre of water for each use. Very impressed. Would recommend to anyone who has similar problems

I bought this model because it had a front opening water removal a lot had rear openings and I didn’t want to have to turn the machine around every day I am very pleased with the performance and it is easy to use My one dislike is the water tank seems to stick when replacing and it takes me a while to get it in place I am hesitate to put anything on it incase I spoil i
Excellent product . Bought it to for a damp conservator that doubles up as tv , living room .
Before the purchase the windows and floors would steam up . Even books and fabric materials were badly affected. Since buying the Probreeze the room has transformed dramatically and is now a comfortable living quarter.
The machine itself is sleek and elegant. The noise from the machine is minimal. All the functions such as setting the room to a required humidity level and then just setting the machine on automatic work excellent.
I highly recommend this product for price , function and style .
Although there were no reviews when we purchased this dehumidifier seemed to be just the thing for our damp garage. We have not been disappointed. It works as advertised and we are beginning to see good results. It has been removing about 2.5 litres every 4 hours and because there is a timer and cut-off if the tank gets full we don’t worry about leaving it running while we are out. It is a real bonus to have the monitor which tells us what the humidity is and that we can set what level of humidity we wish to reach. We did look at lots of other options and they were either very expensive or had issues with reliability. This has been a great buy and we are really pleased with the product and the service provided by Pro Breeze.

I searched high and low for a decent dehumidifier to tackle the very high humidity in my garage (average 85%, some times 92%!). I settled on this one as needed one that worked in environments with low temps (<8c in the winter months). I put it on overnight on the first night I received it and it reduces the humidity by 15% over night and collected an full tank of water (3L). Knowing it uses a fair amount of electricity I only use it a few times week but it is keeping the humidity down to the late 60s/early 70s which is still too high but I'm sure if I had it running constantly the humidity would be in the 50s. Very impressed and pleased with the product! It's early days but so far so good!

It’s doing a very good job of keeping my whole 3 bedroom flat dry.
I use the pipe to drain it into a bucket so that I only empty the bucket twice a day. Easily 10L of water is being collected in 24h.
I use it on low setting at night which still works sufficiently and I can’t hear it.
The fan distributes the heat in all directions I no longer use the central heating as this warms and dries at a fraction of the cost.
Damp conditions are not good for us. I used to be incredibly sick before I bought this with none stop chest infections. I felt better immediately to be breathing better air. Within 2 days of having this on I felt completely recovered.

Excellent product easy to move around, very quiet and easy to use, just follow the simple instructions and away you go makes your rooms feel fresh and you will be amazed at how much moisture it pulls out of your rooms
Very pleased with this dehumidifier. Simple to operate. Comprehensive settings. Use this in my garage which although seemed dry ,humidity very high especially in winter. This product lowers the humidity very quickly and with automatic setting maintains the level at the desired amount. Very impressed.
I use it in my garage to limit the damage of humidity on my classic car. It is quite impressive the amount of water that is extracted and the hose provided helps to keep this Pro Breeze running without changing the tray. It filled it the first time so I was worried it was not working properly (or that I did set it up wrongly) but now it is just fine. Happy with the purchase and much cheaper than an AirCar plastic bag for 700-800. Happy with the purchase.
I’ve only had this dehumidifier a short time. I’ve live in a mobile home and have managed to get through dehumidifier at an alarming rate. The temperature inside can fluctuate greatly but I’d never heard of desiccant dehumidifier before. I’m hoping we might now have turned a corner. The Probreeze is so easy to use and gets rid of a lot of moisture in a short amount of time. I was a little concerned about the sound of the fan because although the dehumidifier is in my kitchen, my bedroom is only feet away. I’m really impressed with the quietness of this machine however and can barely hear it. I hope it lasts longer than the other ones I’ve had. Looking good so far.
This machine is brilliant. I have this plugged in to a timer socket on my conservatory, couple of hours on a morning and about 4 at night. It will easily take 1pint n half of water in this cold damp weather . Blows a little.hot air back out so produces a little heat . But my Windows are harslet condensation and are clear to see out . Absoulty brillia
I bought this as my wife was complaining that the cellar was starting to smell musty. The Desiccant dehumidifier was the type I went for as it was recommended for cooler temperatures and our cellar is always cool.
Judging by the amount of water that is removed every day it is doing a fantastic job. I have it on a timer so that it runs overnight on cheaper electricity. I don’t know if this is an ideal arrangement for the dehumidifier itself as, under normal operation, the fan will continue to run for some time after switching off and of course this will not happen on a timer.
Highly recommended.
This product has already made a huge impact in my home, which had damp issues after standing empty for six months.
The advantage of a dessicant dehumidifier is that it works even in low temperatures, which is ideal for houses in the UK and especially for homes without a central heating system, such as mine.
I’m very impressed with the amount of water this fantastic bit of kit can pull out of the air even in just a couple of hours, and it provides a good deal of warmth to the room as well.
I’m really pleased with this purchase and I’m happy to recommend it to anyone.
We have 2 of these machines, one on our boat, one at home, and have found them very effective. The company was very helpful when I was initially researching which dehumidifier to buy- dessicant v condenser. They are relatively quiet in operation, a simple rectangular shape, easy on the eye with no sharp edges. However when I next buy a dehumidifier, and I will, they are wonderful devices, I will be looking at other makes.
The main problem I have with this is the control panel: off-black with fine cream writing. I need to find my glasses to read it in daylight and in darkness there is just a really irritating array of green led’s some of which blink, depending on the settings. They gives me no useful information whatsoever. Then there is a piercing alarm, loud enough to wake me, to indicate when the tank is full, and a miniscule red led which is only visible up close to confirm it.
The second problem is the tank. If I take a slow, calm, measured approach, and the boat doesn’t rock suddenly, I can empty the tank without spilling it: the slightest degree of impatience leads to splatters, and hurry or Pugwash needs a major mop-up.
The continuous drainage system is not easy and intuitive to set up otherwise Pugwash wouldn’t swear so much. The couple of times when it wasn’t set it up properly, the tank filled up and the machine switched itself off, no great harm done, but frustrating. I haven’t tried setting it myself as I would have to first have to find the instructions and then find my glasses.
Having said all that it has been a good reliable machine, the best priced option at the time and on the boat now rarely needs to be switched on for more than a couple of hours at a time.
I decided to buy a desiccant dehumidifi because the one I had wasn’t collecting water,
After doing some research it was too cold for a compressor dehumfier to work.
When I put the dehumidifier in the large storage shed I was impressed with how much water it collected,
It is also very quiet compared to the one it replaced.
Therefore I can thoroughly recommend the dehumidifier.
Used in a newly converted outbuilding housing valuable books which must be kept cool but dry. Outbuilding is newly insulated but the doors have to be opened regularly and in recent weeks the outside humidity has been over 95%. I as pleased to find this product and very pleased that it has been keeping humidity levels under control especially as temperatures drop overnight. I am rather small but the products is truly portable and the tank easy to access and transport to the nearest drain. Can be left overnight as it is not noisy and automatically cuts out when the tank is full. The latent heat on condensation of the water is captured so warm air comes from the fan which also helps.

Brilliant – would highly recommend to anyone considering a dehumidifier. Quality Product. Quiet Mode brilliant for sleeping. We have had the product less than a week and have noticed a significant difference in air quality. We spent a long time looking for the right dehumidifier and are very very happy with our choice. Would buy again and again.
Only had the unit for a few days so can’t speak of its longevity but it takes a lot of water out the air! 10L/day I’m not sure how they worked that out, but would = 1L in 2.4 hours by my reckoning, at full power it was much quicker than that. a bit of a discrepancy between it and two weather stations (1 reading mid 70’s, the other low 50’s with the humidifier inbetween the two!) No way of knowing which of the 3 is most accurate, (I suspect the dehumidifier and lower reading weather stations are the more accurate). All 3 agree on one thing though, and that is that the humidity has dropped significantly. we’ve been getting 3L out the air every day, running the dehumidifier only some of the time and on low. High setting is much louder, not sure which of the two settings is most efficient. air being pumped out is warm, so possibly not ideal in a heat wave. But in cold areas, perfect!
I found it very light and easy to move around, water tray isn’t flush against unit when fully closed, but doesn’t leak at all and isn’t loose. The tray is easy to remove, water pours out in a fairly controlled many but I use a wide mouthed bucket to make things easier. On low setting uses =.2W I believe (exact number is in the manual) and is very quiet. Would like to know how much liquid it has pulled out at various rh% for both the low and high settings, other than that quite satisfied with this. Previously we tried dehumidifiers with tablets that turned to gel, completely ineffective, I think this has already outperformed them /L water removed!
I needed a desiccant dehumidifier for my conservatory and looked at quite a few on line. I chose the ProBreeze not just for its performance figures but also its functions and appearance and am very happy with my choice. It is unobtrusive, very quiet on the ‘low’ setting and extracted a good amount of moisture from the air in a short period.
I’ve been using this for only over a week or so, but can definitely say it reduces humidity in large rooms. It’s not super quick at it (then I dont really have a comparison as its our first dehumidifier) and I am yet to receive electric bill to see how expensive it will be.
Its a bit loud on high, but ok during night on low if you plan on using it in the bedroom. My wife felt a difference, not having stuffy nose in the morning, after first night of using it and keeping humidity at 50-55%.
In case you dont know it blows warm air out, so that will bring the temp of your room up. Great for winter not sure I’d use it in the summer.
As for the air filter, no idea if it works or not. I still prefer to use a dedicated equipment for that purpose, but then again knowing that in theory the warm air coming out of this is cleaner is good.

I bought this not for home use, but for a church. Ancient churches by their nature are large and inclined to be damp. Also, our church is unheated for much of the week, so a desiccant dehumidifier was appropriate.
The dehumidifier is doing a good job of bringing humidity down, extracting far more water than the device it replaced. I have found it simple to operate, and it feels well built.
I bought this product to reduce the humidity in my cellar which is used as an occasional bed room. I chose this model as it was advertised as being efficient at low temperatures and had a dehumidifying capacity large enough to cope with ease. It is light weight, compact and visibly unobtrusive. The instructions are clear and easy to operate. The automatic settings for fan speed and humidity levels make it quite efficient to run continuously. In my case the water tank needs emptying once a day once the humidity level has been reduced from its original level. Emptying the tank is easy and the running noise is ok, but if I ran it at night I would probably turn it off if I slept down there. The atmosphere in the cellar has certainly improved in the last couple of weeks.
Well, we have had a dehumidifier in our sunroom for a number of years. It’s done, as far as I know, a decent job. However, Mr. Pro Breeze has been a breeze to use. I particularly like the warm air which comes out of the unit as soon as it is turned on. Our sunroom really appreciates that. And when I emptied it this morning, it was full! Is this good or bad…whatever, this little machine is doing one fine job. It also has a lot more choices…how much humidity one wants, the time it is running, the fan speed, etc. We have a smaller unit in the bathroom which has the same selections, but our sunroom really needs this more powerful one. It’s an excellent product, and I have no hesitation in recommending it. Good looking piece of kit, too.
Unit is working, and drawing out water from the air as expected.
There is 2 modes with high mode being louder as expected too. On low mode, the device produces a whirling sound that may be a bit annoying to people who are used to quieter environment. This is louder than the 12L model by ProBreeze. The other not so fantastic part about this model is the water container, the insertion is a bit iffy as in need to somehow work around the railing for putting it back. Understand that one main advantage over the 12L model is that this model can work in colder temperatures.
Have been using this device for about 2 weeks now in a damp, seaside environment, leaving it running overnight when the windows etc are closed.
Each night it has yielded a full 3L tank of water and there’s been no condensation on the windows, aluminium frames or ceiling – so a good result. As it is harvesting so much water, the ‘continuous drain’ (via supplied hose) is an essential & v.good feature.
One disappointment… hence 4/5 star rating – the webpage on Amazon that advertised the product shows that it has AUTO-ON & AUTO-OFF. This is incorrect – it only has a TIMER to switch off. There is no AUTO-ON. Furthermore, there is no workaround because a timer on the wall plug will not switch the unit on as it has an electronic control panel.
I raised this with the supplier and they confirmed that the webpage description was incorrect and the product has no AUTO-ON. To their credit they offered a full refund (which I have declined and decided to keep the unit).
SUGGESTION: add an AUTO-ON feature or a cyclic ON-OFF-REPEAT timer to the next model as it would be very useful when using in an unattended environment. From a design perspective, I expect it would be an easy firmware fix – everything else is great.

Fantastic price for what it is able to do. We have it on every night in our bedroom on the low setting, and it brings the humidity from 70+ to 45 easily with no more noise than a normal desktop fan. I am asthmatic and therefore bringing the humidity down was essential. Thanks to this, I can finally sleep in peace. Absolutely fantastic, would recommend to anyone with a humidity problem in their home.
I have a pottery studio, so lots of moisture as pots dry. I was having very high humidity levels at 95% and dripping condensation overnight. I tried a compressor dehumidifier but it struggled at the low temperatures, since I don’t heat the pottery at night, and only if I’m in there working. In these winter temperatures it couldn’t manage. This one is working very well, and my humidity is now down to 55% and would go lower if I set it lower. This type of humidifier is what you need for an unheated space, in my experience. Hope this helps as I didn’t know initially that there were more than one type to choose from and what you buy depends on where you plan to use it.
This was a replacement for a compressor dehumidifier in my garage that had run well for many years.
The build quality is very good, unit is working very well
About the only complaint I have is that the supplied drain tube for external drainage is rather stiff plastic and a bit difficult to route.
Although the energy consumption is higher than a compressor unit nominally in the garage it extracts moisture far faster in the cold so runs for less time.
I think overall consumption will not be a lot higher than the compressor unit.
Wow, this is fantastic. Small, light, easy to move around and sucks water from the atmosphere at an amazing rate. If you need a dehumidifier get this one.
With the fan running on high it is a little noisy but not excessively so.
Otherwise I am very pleased with the dehumidifier, have it running in my bedroom where I had some black mould growing due to no heating and high condensation. Have woken up every morning with no condensation on the windows and after using for a month or so the black mould is no longer growing. Removes two litres of fluid every day from the house.
Using the product for 4 months, Ireland climate, 2 bedroom house.
Usually run it on max humidity setting (60%) during nighttime. You notice how strong the dehumidifier is once you set it to lower humidity (50% or less). The container fills in an hour or so, amazing how much water it can pull from the air. Don’t do this at night without the continuous drain as it will keep waking you up once the container fills.
Loudness wise, it is noticeable, not something you’d sleep next to, but fine if in other room/corridor.
The only issue noticed so far is that on rare occasions turning off doesn’t really turn off completely. Usually once you turn off the machine, it goes into cooling mode then it switches itself off. On rare occasions, the cooling mode (just fan running) will not turn it off completely. Turning it back on and off (through power button) seems to resolve the issue.
Pro Breeze 10L Desiccant Dehumidifier works well straight out of the box, just remember to take off the tape holding the removable draw. Just as a test I left this machine running a couple of hours in what I thought was a normal room. Wow what a supprise I had when I opened and emptied the draw. I bought this dehumidifier for my caravan which has been closed for serveral months this will be a god send when I reopen the van. Please remember that because this is a desiccant dehumidifier it can be used in lower temperatures. The compressor types of dehumidifier are really not suitable for caravans.
I bought this after my Meaco DD8 failed on me.
Aesthetics: The first thing I noticed is how sleek and compact the dehumidifier is. It is extremely light, even a seven-year old would be able to lift it.
Power: This is quite powerful and the 3l tank was full after a few hours. There are only two settings; High and Low.
Laundry: There is no laundry feature (perhaps a useless gimmick) but it does have a louvre that can be directed in different directions to assist drying and when using it on the high setting, it dries clothing very quickly.
Noise: On low it is very quiet and almost unnoticeable. On high, it is similar to the noise of a small fan.
Robustness: Unfortunately, after one day’s usage, a small gap appeared on the right hand side of the water tank (see photo). I have no idea how this happened, perhaps due to using it on a hard, uneven, kitchen floor. It has not affected the performance of the unit in any way as of yet though.
Ease of use: The water tank is slightly tricky to be replaced and must be perfectly aligned. When emptying the water tank, the remaining water can spill out if it is not perfectly aligned with the drainage hole.
Features: A great feature is the handle on top making it easy to carry to other rooms. I don’t know why all dehumidifier manufacturers would not include this feature.
It does not have an ioniser (perhaps another gimmick) but the air naturally feels much cleaner.
Warranty is extended to two years after registering on their website.
Edit: Fairly annoyed that the price was reduced by 20 to 135 the week after I bought it!
Bought to use in my conservatory. After the initial selecting of the right settings for my requirement I now only have to switch it on with one press of the on/off button.
It is left to run all day as it shuts itself down at the set humidity and I only shut it off at night.
My conservatory is centrally heated but still gets very cold during the night but with the added warm air from this unit the room heats up very quickly.
The water container is on the front so very easy to pull out and empty without having to move the whole unit.
I have now had the unit a few weeks and it only needs emptying every three days.
Not that I have ever used the laundry mode on other models I have had in the past – I use a tumble dryer – I did not realise until I received it that this model does NOT have a laundry mode, so be aware if you dry your clothes in this manner.
The unit looks smart and is very quiet in use and is easy to wipe clean.
This unit is brilliant, quiet and gently warms the room up as well. It’s in my attic bedroom which tends to get condensation on the wall in winter, which leads to mould if not dried and cleaned regularly. This unit works fantastically well, is pretty quiet and very compact. It took the humidity down from 65-70% to 40% within six hours and has maintained that level since, only coming on when needed. My last dehumidifier was admittedly very old, but it was noisy, used far more electricity and collected less water. It was also huge. So far, this has been a very good buy and I couldn’t be happier. It is easy to use, lightweight and efficient.
10/10
The Pro Breeze is used in the garage and removes 3 litres of moisture every 24 hours on the low setting so easy on the electricity. It has a hose option which we may use. Certainly on low fan the unit is very quiet. Controls are easy to use. So all in all a great produc
We had an old Dehumidifier in our extension (which we used to keep down damp when we used the en-suite bathroom) which was leaking & needed a replacement. After much research we purchased this product. Suffice to say we are delighted with the performance which is far better than the old one & the ease of use. All in all an excellent product for this type of application.
I’ve been using this dehumidifier for only a short while but am very pleased with it. It’s very efficient and is quiet. Not only is the high humidity soon dealt with, the air is fresher. The settings give you as many options as you need but are simple and straightforward. It has a neat, inconspicuous design and, when handled, feels well built. I don’t mean it’s heavy; it’s not. As for the cost, I bought this make because its price and quality compared very well with the award-winning one I had been intending to buy but which cost considerably more for no good reason that I could see. This one comes with a standard guarantee of one year and that period is doubled to two years if you register your purchase with the manufacturer, which I’ve done. Because of the humidity problem throughout the house, I’m considering buying another of these later. If I do, I get 15% off. Nice. Don’t see how I could’ve chosen better. Recommend.
I bought this ProBreeze dehumidifier as I suffered an out break of damp in my flat.
Not only did the dehumidifier arrive EARLY!, but, it was so simply to set up …… I plugged it and switched on!!.
I left the dehumidifier on for approximately 4 hours, after which I found that the 10L capacity tank was half full!!.
There are a number of things I love about this dehumidifier:
1) ease of use!.
2) portability.
3) you have a number of settings – for instance – you can adjust the power of the fan. You can set the % of humidity you want sucked out of the air. It has a timer too.
4) this dehumidifier chucks out warm air, so, it not only makes the flat warmer by dehumidifying the air it also warms the place up with heat it chucks out (good for getting your laundry dry!!).
All in all, I have kinda (not in a strange way!!) fallen a bit in love with my ProBreeze dehumidifier.
As far as I’m concerned, this IS THE BEST ONE ON THE MARKET!!.
The dehumidifier arrived Saturday and within the first few hours we could not believe the volume of water it removed. Our bungalow suffers from condensation and the windows were always misted up despite leaving them open when cooking or bathing. This machine has made an incredible difference to our home.
One year later, December 2019, so glad be brought this and use it every day throughout the winte
Simple to use ,looks very well made. Worked straight away and dried our conservatory over Xmas with 10 people in it and cooking
in kitchen which would normally have itrunning with condensation but with the pro-breeze running it stayed dry and also warmed the air.
It produced litres of water which we have saved to use in our steam iron saving on buying distilled water.
I would recommended this product with no hesitation.
Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. It is very easy to set up, with simple but effective digital controls. It is very efficient even at low temperatures. It is also very quiet during operation and very light to carry. An excellent buy from a great seller.
I bought this to help with mold growth in my garage. Its cleared all moisture from the garage, the smell and so far its doing what its supposed to do. Defo a worthwhile investment if you have excess humidity. I am also using the supplied hose for continuous water removal as I found I needed to empty the reservoir twice a day.
simple to use, set up in my garage to reduce humidity and has been doing an excellent job even in colder temperatures, garage is insulated but no heating and the warm air from the humidifier is enough to take the chill off. Good range of adjustable settings, overall very impressed, good solid construction and fairly quiet in operation.
We are so pleased with our new dehumidifier. We have had a couple of cheaper ones in the past but the pro breeze is fantastic. We purchased this to help with our elderly chinchillas respiratory problems and within days saw an incredible difference. We also hope to use it in our conservatory to help with a small damp problem.
Quick delivery, easy to use, very quiet and tucks neatly into the corner!
This is a great product if you have any issues with damp, especially in the winter. Each day it’s is absorbing a couple of litres even though we are only putting it on between 2 and 4 hours. The humidity in the room drops from about 75% to 50% after only an hour or so.
I bought this because I had some damp issues in my double garage (note- have to make sure the garage door seals tightly) so I was particularly interested in this model having 1.0 C minimum operating temperature. It works brilliantly well and I am very happy with it. The only small minus is the timer which is an off timer only, would be useful to have 24 hour programmable on/off timer.
Using this in the front room (270 sq ft or 25 sq m) with a chimney. The heated dessicant dehumidifier type extracts a lot more water from the room than the standard refridgerated version at lower temperatures. When used in combination with room heating, the room feels warm quicker.
There is a good instruction booklet. The controls are explained very well and after a little experimenting I found the right combination set-up for me.
In operation, in automode, the air is pushed through quickly by fan and when the moisture content of the room is reduce to a selected percentage the air flow reduces. This reduces the running costs and fan noise to a minimum. I usually sit away from the dehumidifier when it is running and haven’t found the fan noise intrusive. Also, the dessicant heating elements produce a warming effect as the air leaves the dehumidifier and goes back into the room. This helps to reduce the heating time of the room.
This unit is light and portable with a carry handle to setup in any room as needed.
I empty the water tank as required. It has a handy carry handle.
I would recommend this dessicant dehumidifier.
This is the third dehumidifier I have used, the last one an Ebac lasted for twelve years, the first replacement (not a Pro Breeze) I had to return after one night. I then decided on the Pro Breeze and I know its early days but I cannot praise it enough.. It certainly lives up to its name, because it is just a breeze. Very quiet , easy to set up and empty. I use it in our basement which consists off a boys room (pool table) and also attached a utility room washing machine and tumble dryer.
As the Basement is always cooler than the rest of the house the other dehumidifier kept on running what ever the setting. No such problems with this Pro Breeze I was so impressed with this machine that I purchased another one for our Annex which again is quite cold when not occupied. So very happy, a stylish compact, quiet dehumidifier.
Bought for my daughter children bedroom very damp. Within the first 10 hours you could feel the difference. Not noisy but I wouldn’t want to sleep with it on but no more noisy than a fan used in the summer very pleased with this dessicant dehumidifier.
Really pleased with this item, working really well so far. Making a huge difference to the atmosphere in our bedroom. Where it felt cold and damp, it now feels dry and comfortable. Reasonably priced. Would certainly recommend. Great communication from company too.
I have have a conservatory that in the winter months gets a lot of condensation and this year decided to try this, I do not now where the water comes from as i get a full tank every day, at this time I’am moving it around the room to see where it works best and when I do that’s when I’ll fit the pipe through the wall so my satisfaction is very high with this and would recommend it to anyone with condensation problems so many thanks.
This was bought to replace a conventional compressor type dehumidifier which was becoming aged and inefficient. We were attracted to this one as it is lightweight and operates efficiently at lower temperatures. We live in a 175 year old cottage and use the dehumidifier in the bathroom and the bedroom. The Pro Breeze appears to be far more efficient at extracting the moisture than our old one and also has a warming effect on the room. We particularly like the timer which means we can switch it on and forget about it. We have only had the item just over a week so long term durability is unknown but we are very pleased with our purchase so far.
I already have a desiccant dehumidifier which I felt worked well. However, I’ve had it for about 5 years and wanted an additional one. The Pro Breeze is far better than my existing one in the following ways:
1. It has a humidity indicator for the actual humidity of the room – I tested this against my humidity hygrometer and both readings were similar, not the same though.
2. You can set the humidity level you prefer
3. The humidity in the room came down from 80 to 45 which is really good. When I swapped the pro breeze with my other one, the humidity went up from 45 to 65! This shows how good the model pro breeze model seems to be. It also shows, though that, this a way to manage humidity rather than getting rid of damp completely.
4. The room temperature is increased more with the pro breeze than my other desiccant dehumidifier. I was able to turn off the central heating. You can turn down the fan speed so presumably, the temperature would be a lower but not tried this yet
5. Unlike my other model, the pro breeze does not have a smell when in use.
I’ve only received the pro breeze today so not sure how this model will continue to work bu my first impressions are good
Having had a number of various manufacturer’s dehumidifiers over the last 20 years, this model is by far the best. simple to use. great controls regarding required humidity level and superb extraction rates meaning less electricity useage.
So pleased with my new machine i have ordered a second unit to replace my EcoAir dehumidifier. Congratulations Pro Breeze on a superb efficient product, thank you
I bought this de-humidier for my workshop/garage to resolve a problem with condensation. The feature that attracted me was its low temperature operation as neither area is heated. The de-humifier arrived promptly, ready to use. I am impressed by its compact size but quiet efficiency. There are easy to use controls which are surprisingly sophisticated with room humidity level indicator and the option to adjust the machine to a target humidity level. The fan speed is adjustable and it can be set to be automatic (shutting off at the present humidity level) or timed which is very handy. The resevoir isn’t huge but a handy pipe connection means the outflow can be drained into a drain or outside instead. I have previously owned two de-humidiers from other manufacturers which have both broken down immediately out of warranty (is there a countdown timer that makes machines do this?); I expect this one to be more resilient, although time will tell). So in summary I am very pleased with my purchase so far.
I primarily purchased this unit as my previous dehumidifier was constantly iced in the colder months. I had to put the heating on in order to keep the machine going, which of course was not very economical.
I’ve used this for a few days now, and its been superb. OK, so its slightly more costly to run, but it pays for itself with the secondary effect of keeping the air a few degrees warmer.
So far, the performance has been good, on par with my condensing unit. I’ll need to keep this going for a few months to fully evaluate, then will revisit with an updated review
FEB 19 update.
OK, so I’ve had this unit over 6 months now and it been used pretty much not stop. Firstly, its miles better than the condenser versions of the same make. I purchased the 20 Litre version and the ice build up sensor packed up few months in, rendering the unit next to useless in colder months. I then purchased the small 10L unit, and that is still going.
This version has been a dream. Reliability wise has been good so far, there are a few rattles of the fan at low speed, and I have noticed the running costs are higher. But my condensation problem has been eliminated, and the unit can work as low temperatures with zero ice build up.
I’ve had the pro breeze dehumidifier now for a week and have to say really impressed with it very quiet very efficient does exactly what it’s supposed to do . I put this dehumidifier in my conservatory one night and it took out 5 L with ease. As I say only had it for a week but on what I’ve seen so far would definitely recommend.
