I’d been looking at buying a dehumidifier for the last few years, living in a centuries old cottage we have damp issues, particularly in the bathroom where we’re plagued with black mould and even the odd mushroom. I was alway put off by the price of the larger, more expensive units and the cheaper ones seemed to always have terrible reviews. Unfortunately I discovered a slow leak from my bath which had saturated the floor underneath the vinyl and I realised I needed to take the plunge and buy a dehumidifier to help dry it out. I was excited to find the Pro Breeze range this time and bought one based on all the great reviews. It hasn’t disappointed at all! It’s a fantastic little unit, it looks good, it’s fairly cheap, it’s collecting water and has massively helped speed up drying out my bathroom. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a home dehumidifier. Well done Pro Breeze!

I has some issues with dampness in my bathroom as there isn’t a window in there and we have showers in there daily. We have an extractor fan but it didn’t seem to do a lot so we bought this dehumidifier to see if it could help keep the dampness down and it works10x better than I had hoped for! We plug it in (outside the bathroom) and sit thr dehumidifier in the doorway to the bathroom and switch it on after a shower for about 30 minutes. This takes all the dampness out the bathroom (about 2mx2.5m) and de-mists the mirrors completely. The air in the bathroom is left feeling fresh and the entire inside of the shower is dry. Normally the shower would never even dry on the inside and if it did it would take about 12 hours so it’s great with this everything is dry within 30 minutes. It’s really satisfying seeing the water build up. Definitely worth buying and it’s a really good price for what you get!

Got this to dry out a leak between bathroom floor through to kitchen ceiling after the leak was fixed. The issue wasn’t severe enough to justify spending a fortune.

This dehumidifier is great value for money – I have non-allergic rhinitis and find I breathe and sleep better after I’ve had the dehumidifier on during the day.
Also helps keep your rooms smelling fresh as it clears away any stale/musty smells that linger.
Actually recommended this to family because it was such a great price

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis has taken so much damp out of my house.
The difference after about a month is unbelievable.
I would never have imagined it could take such much dampness out. When I first had it I was emptying it every day. I have been putting it in every room to take the dampness out.
It’s now not taking as much out and I’m keeping it on every day because it hardly uses any electricity.
The mould in my sons bedroom has now gone and it’s smelling so much better. Which is also better for his asthma.
I also put it on air purifier once a day too to get rid of any allergens with having a dog..
    I would recommend this item

I can only do review based on my experience with this product as I’ve never used any form of dehumidifier.

It works! Keeps moisture from building on single glazed glass and the room somehow feels cleaner and warmer. Tank fills quickly spring its working, an added bonus is that it cuts out when full.
There is a bit of noise from the fan but I got used to it and it’s no louder than an electrical heater fan.
Well made, works effectively, good customer service etc
I would highly recommend this product.

Small and mobile, perfect to fit in confined spaces. I bought two already and both are working perfectly fine. Can hear it working but it no more than aircon kind of noise, maybe even quieter. Recommend this product.

Bought this to deal with condensation and mould in a small loft storage space. It is working well and seems to have solved the problem. It takes a fair amount of moisture from the atmosphere and the collection tank is large enough to only need emptying every 4 to 5 days. It’s made of good quality materials and is quiet when operating.
The company made contact to see if I was happy with the dehumidifier and give advice on maintenance. Very pleased with this product.

This is a first class product. I bought it mostly because with no tumble dryer and the Scottish weather I was forced to dry washing indoors in a spare bedroom. The result of course was condensation on the windows which I had to wipe down every morning. Not only that I had started to notice a little patch of damp/mould on a corner wall so it was time to look for a solution. I choose this dehumidifier because of the great reviews, it’s compact size and it’s very reasonable price. So far it’s been a great success and as an added bonus seems to dry the washing in record time! Very highly recommended.

Bought this to put in my double garage/man cave. As an avid motorcycle nut I spend many hours every week maintaining and “playing ” with my toys , reorganizing tools and enjoying a few beers without having to listen to the wife! When the weather’s cold outside (8 months of the year) , anything metal gets covered in a fine film of moisture due to condensation which causes surface rust if left, particularly irritating on all the tools. Although most of it disappears once the gas heater has been on for a while, it is hassle wiping the surfaces dry and damaging if left in the long term!
I already own a full size dehumidifier which is used in the house to remove the moisture from the room/s the laundry is hung out in, which is extremely efficient, however I was told by the wife that ” no way you will be using it out there, it cost 140 and it will get ruined!” So I searched Amazon, 20 for a plastic box needing monthly refills at 10 a time, The Pro Breeze units at 40 or 60 or ones like my existing unit at 120 plus, albeit twice as efficient and capable of holding one and a half litres of water.
I decided to gamble 40 and ordered the Pro Breeze Compact, 4x smaller, a third of the capacity, half the performance but a quarter of the price of full size models.
Put it in my garage as soon as it arrived, it is small, unobtrusive and quiet, after 8 days the units auto shut off function kicked in as the tank was full so emptied the 500ml of water out and straight back on. I have had it 2 weeks now and it has been fantastic, so quiet I forget it’s there and most importantly condensation free tools and bikes!!!
Absolutely fantastic product and best value by miles.

Bought this for our bedroom and it’s been well worth the money. Wanted something small enough not to be too noticeable and get in the way, which it is and despite some reviews saying it’s not quiet I think it is – it’s not silent, granted, but I don’t think you’d get one much quieter for the money. It’s only like having a small fan on and we soon got used to it after a few days. We have it on 24 hours a day 7 days a week and have to empty it every 2 days or so, which is really easy to do. No more waking up in the night coughing!
UPDATE: 4 months since my original review – I can tell the room has dried out well as I’m finding I’m only having to empty the water once a week now. Still working perfectly.

Purchased for my daughter who was having condensation problems as cannot leave the windows open during the day. The unit is quiet to use and low on electricity usage. She has it on during the day and no need to have on at night. The first two days did not see much difference but then the tray was full of water and now everyday water in tray but window and wall dry. recommends. being used in medium sized bedroom.

I bought this dehumidifier for my small bedroom which has had a very bad damp issue. There was a very musty damp smell in the room and it felt very damp. I had this dehumidifier on 24/7 for the first week and by the end of the week there was a notably fresher feel to the room. I since have had it running just during the day and then turn it off a night when I go to bed. One month on and my room feels like a fresh new room. I don’t know why it took me so long to buy this product. I am so happy with it and would highly recommend. I also haven’t noticed any real increase in my electricity bill. I researched numerous mini dehumidifiers before purchasing on and this product came up often with good reviews.

I waited several weeks before reviewing this product so I could use it properly.

Pros: lightweight, quiet (although I use it in a room I’m not in), quite small so good for confined spaces, it collects water so therefore its doing the job!

Cons: I don’t like the handle on the back i feel like I might drop it but its so small you can just pick it up so it doesn’t really bother me at all! Just a VERY small con.

Overall I’m happy with my purchase and it doesn’t cost me hundreds of pounds.

I wanted to give it 4.5 stats but that’s not an option!

My son for whom I bought this is delighted with it as he has damp and mould on the walls of his flat. This is really efficient at collecting water from the air -filling u p pretty quickly which shows how much it was needed. It has made the room smell fresher and its quiet hum soothes him to sleep. It is also good for drying the air when he dries his clothes.

Overall I’m very happy with this – I’ve bought a second one in fact. It’s working to pull a reasonable amount of moisture out given its size and is easy to use.

The product page does claim “whisper quiet operation” and it’s not really quite that quiet, but it isn’t too bad.

It’s dead simple to use, arrived promptly, and seems good value for money.

The dehumidifier is working as expected and I bought it a few weeks ago now. It’s filling up with water which is great. It is in my sons bedroom which isn’t using while his room is being sorted after a leak which was followed with black mould etc. This is a separate issue that is being dealt with but the room does have condensation problem and I think the dehumidifier is helping but this is a very small room.
For an average sized bedroom, a larger one might be better. The noise level is low and not a problem during the day but I think if I had to sleep with it running it might annoy me. Easy solution to this is to just maybe use a timer switch so it comes on in the morning around the time you get up, or switch it on and off yourself. Energy efficiency? I’m not sure how to measure this but i haven’t noticed an increase in my electric usage which I pay for by topping up my pre-payment meter so i would notice if it was consuming a lot of electricity.

I wanted two occasionally used bedrooms to be kept condensation-free at all times . These small dehumidifiers are PERFECT for the job . They are well designed, quiet, sturdily-made , look good, & are both discreet & efficient . What more could you ask for at such a reasonable price ? Well done this company ! Am planning to get another .

This is great compact machine, it really takes the moisture from the air. My wooden front door always swells at this time of year and is difficult to open, not anymore thanks to dehumidifier. Sound it makes is like a quiet fan with white noise, it’s fine in another room. I would highly recommend this machine, but I have not had one before.

I have been using this dehumidifier for 10 days now and I am very pleased about its efficiency. Before, my room felt very damp (like a cellar) and the windows were always wet (not just steamy, but actual water flowing down and lots of it collecting on the windowsill). Now, the damp and mouldy smell is gone and the windows are slightly steamy and some parts actually dry. The downside though it’s the noise. I don’t notice it during the day, but unfortunately I have to keep it on for the night as that’s when the heaters turn on. I’m a good sleeper, so I can still sleep, but it might be a problem for others.
I’m not sure of the energy efficiency as the electricity bill hasn’t come through yet. I don’t keep it on all the time, as I’m afraid to leave it on when I’m not at home.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe got two of these. One for inside the house to prevent condensation appearing on the windows in our bedroom and the second for our garage/office.

Both are simple to operate – basically plug into a mains socket and switch on.

Both work very well. No more condensation in our bedroom or garage – now only use occasionally if condensation appears to be coming back.

They are not silent in operation – but they are quite. When we first got them we used one in our bedroom overnight for a couple of days – we got off to sleep fine.

For domestic/home use I recommend this product.

    Best regards

    Ok
So it’s a small dehumidifier and it’s a brand I’d never heard of, but we gave it ago – delivery was next day, we’ll packaged and arrived in good condition.
Super easy, straight out the box, plug in & go – we bought this for our daughter’s bedroom which has a small issue with damp around the window from condensation . . . . She never opens a window and lives with the door closed like a typical teenager.
In a nutshell – it works! It’s not loud, it’s simple to open and empty and it’s made a big difference to the room.
Worth the money, no frills but a decent product.

I like the effectiveness of this product, it doesn’t hang about in extracting the moisture from a well sized living room. Ran it twice over two days, nearly 500ml out. Not quite as silent as I had hoped for but let’s be honest, these things can’t be 100% silent anyway and you can leave them running quite safely overnight, which is what I am doing.

Small size, easy to use and empty, prob not as quiet as i had been lead to believe…would find it intrusive in a room where you are trying to sleep,
cant say how efficient it is or about its reliability…early days yet…but its a nice unit…and does work at collecting moisture.
I bougt an extra long lead to aid positioning in a room as the supplied lead is only about 1.5m long.

I put in my single block built shed. During the winter especially the walls will be streaming with water and get terrible damp problems. I put the dehumidifier on at night a d walls and window are dry. I also bought another for spare room but it does not have a door so only worked a little bit which was more than expected to be honest. I would say works better than larger more expensive brand.

Great device using it for my garden studio – wooden building 10 by 11ft and it is taking away most of the moisture meaning that I can keep my watercolour paintings in a drawer without concern. Not a bad achievement given the weather in Scotland. I believe it uses about the same energy as a light bulb – I just leave it running all the time and empty the tank about once every three to four days. (Although this is on safe side as tank usually only 2/3rds full. 2min job to empty). Noise level is low enough that it doesn’t bother me when working. As to the supplier – Item arrived on time, well packaged and in good condition.
Couldn’t be happier really. Simple item but does exactly what it says on the box.

Works well in my small 3x3m bedroom. Not super quiet, about the same noise level as a desk fan. My main gripe is that there is no humidity sensor so it will always be on regardless of if the room needs it or not ergo not very energy efficient. It’s not bad enough for me to return it, but I’ve bought a timer socket for it so that it’ll switch off for a few hours of the day. Also it blows out cold air so not great in the winter as it is fighting the radiator.

Part of one wall of our property needs re-pointing, which will be done come spring. We were concerned that the wall was getting damp so decided to buy a de-humidifier to help out meantime. This little gem is working wonders, taking out 170/180ml a day out originally, now dropping to about 130ml average. It is a small unit, unobtrusive, not too noisy, and seemingly very efficient. Excellent product that does the job.

The 2 I ordered were dispatched quickly and arrived well packaged they were easy to set up and can be placed discreetly in the rooms. There is a little noise but nothing to be concerned about (very expensive models still make some noise) they have been working well and collecting water. I recommend these units for medium sized bedrooms or similar sized areas.

Used this while my usual dehumidifier was in for repairs. The cost was the main feature in purchasing it and that it had good reviews. I wanted it for drying washing indoors and to maintain the air quality. Whilst it did not take the same amount of moisture out of the air, which was expected given its size and that I have a medium sized 3 bed detached, it certainly did the job. As noted by other reviewers it seemed a bit slow to extract moisture at first but within a couple of days of use it was doing brilliantly. I was glad to have the opportunity to test it as I wanted to pass it to my daughter who currently rents a small 2 bed terrace and will be perfect for that. Can’t say as to cost efficiency as I have not yet had my bill for that period!

We’ve got a ground floor maisonette that suffers from really bad moisture build up. We previously had mould building up in a number of rooms which obviously is not acceptable especially when you have tenants. We’ve purchased 3 of these items and have to say by the amount of water we collect in only a matter of days shows how important and how good these units are. I’m not privy too how energy efficient they are but noise is more than bearable (switched off at night) and they are very compact so don’t cause a problem in terms of space. Has certainly worked as a short term fix for the mould issue reducing the build up significantly.

It is small, quiet and efficient in terms of electrical use. Ideal in a small room such as a shower room where we use it. No good for a large area such as a whole house, compressor based ones are still best for this which we have on the landing but since the shower / toilet would have the door closed we needed a separate unit just for this room. This product was perfect for that application.

We bought this little dehumidifier for our front porch (6ft x 6ft) which is all glass with no heating so suffers from condensation. The price initially attracted us as others are so expensive but the low price doesn’t impact on its effectiveness. We bought the Pro=Breeze 1500ml for my parents who were having ongoing problems with damp in their conservatory .Upon receipt they were pleased with this compact and lightweight model . However we found that the model did not perform well under temperatures less than 15 degrees C and an additional heater was required to heat up the room sufficiently for the dehumidifier to work effectively . We could not find any information in the leaflet or on the Amazon description listing to indicate that this could be an issue in the products effectiveness .

I use this in my bedroom as we often get condensation in the corner which leads to mould. After having our bedroom decorated I thought I would try this to hopefully prevent the mould from returning. Only been using it a couple of weeks so far ,but it has collected quite a bit of water. The corner of our bedroom seems dry. So I am very pleased with this dehumidifier. We only run it during the day as it’s quite noisy and disturbs our sleep. This seems to be working well. Thank you!

I now 3 different dehumidifiers in my home, each in different rooms, I put the new ProBreeze in the dining room, (a room we rarely use and the worse one for damp) my partner said the hum was a little distracting to have in the room we often spend time in, (I’m hard of hearing so wasn’t a problem to me) but the ProBreeze collected a full tank of water in 2 days less than the dehumidifier we had in that room previously. I’ve had the machine a few weeks now and honestly wipes the floor with the other two, I couldn’t be happier!

I bought this as a present for my mother following a leak into a small bedroom from the flat roof. My dehumidifier had worked well but was too big for her to keep in the room so I searched and found this one. She is so pleased with it as it is light enough to her to move around (she’s nearly 80) and it empties easily (although it took a while to work out how to do this). It is small enough for her to leave behind a chair in the corner yet big enough to keep on for 24 hours without emptying – perfect. It is quiet and doesn’t look too obtrusive in the room. I can really recommend this for small rooms and small spaces – very effective.

Started off in the Conservatory as the windows steamed up with me cooking in the kitchen, yes the pro breeze had no problem in that one hour clearing the condensation it took 200ml out of that room ,I was very surprised for it just a simple unit with a switch on/off and emptying the drawer where the water collects , this unit was bought for my wooden summer/crafthouse and I put it to work in there with similar results. Guess I need to buy another for the Conservatory, very pleased with the performance and price of this unit and a very fast delivery.

Well I have been surprised by how much water this thing sucks out of the air, about half a cup each 24hrs (about 200ml)
its not noisy but can be heard running, its not causing him any problems sleeping at night which is good. The windows where covered with condensation each morning but now they are 95% clear, no more water pools on the windows sill!
I would recommend this to anyone with a damp problem, I am sure it will help a lot. 5 stars.
**** Follow up 1 month of use ****
Still working great, taking a load of water out of the air and the room does seem much drier, the wall paper is curling up at the edge now on one wall due to drying out, really making a big difference, good product.

But as I have not had it very long, I cannot comment on it’s overall effectiveness, but I am very hopeful as it currently extracts a mugful of condensation. etc., every 2-3 days.

I wanted to get one of these as the house I’ve literally just moved to a couple of days ago has one of those kitchen hood extractors that doesn’t actually get rid of the steam from cooking, it merely circulates the hot air and steam around the kitchen via its side vents and the first time I cooked, despite opening the windows, there was condensation everywhere.
This little dehumidifier is doing the job really well so far and extracted a good 3/4 of an inch of water from the kitchen after cooking (I left it going during the night).
Noise level – you can hear it, but it certainly isn’t what I would call “loud”. Compared with a low setting of an extractor hood it is a lot less noisy that that, so certainly not intrusive. Money wise – leaving it on overnight bumped up the smart meter a little, but not horrifically or anything less that I would have expected. It certainly doesn’t drink the electric, but we’ll see how this tots up over time, I guess.

The kitchen is only small, so this little unit was just fine for that space and it is sitting quite happily at the back of the worksurface. I think it would struggle to cope in a large room. I tried it in the conservatory (very cold and was running with condensation) but it didn’t seem to touch the sides in there, although it is large room – a lot bigger than the kitchen, so I have just bought a big dehumidifier for use in the conservatory, but this little one is just the job for smaller rooms and I’m very glad I bought it.

I have a holiday visit caravan and if I don’t go for a few weeks the bed feels a little damp, I used this little wonder for around 8 hours before going to bed and actually forgot about it and left it on all night. Obviously it’s quiet. I slept all night without any discomfort and there was about three quarters of of the tub of water to be emptied in the morning.
I chose this model because of the capacity which is around 3 times more than models around the same price. Very pleased.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBought this little dehumidifier a couple of weeks ago to help reduce the level of condensation that was accumulating on our bedroom windows and patio doors.
The bedrooms are a decent size and there’s a 20 foot long hallway down to the second bedroom with the patio doors.
I positioned the dehumidifier halfway down the hall with the hopes that, over a few days, it would draw the air through from the bedrooms and pull out the excess moisture.
It only holds 1.5 litres and it takes around 5 days of constant running to fill the tank completely but based on the lack of condensation on the windows and patio doors I can honestly say that it does a brilliant job.
Plug it in, leave it alone and you’ll gradually notice the moisture in the house reduce significantly.
I’ve emptied the tank out 3 times now and the rooms are no longer gathering condensation on the windows, it’s almost a strong enough drying effect to manage the whole house.
I highly recommend it based on the performance alone. Plus it’s really quiet as well (about the same as a desk fan) it gets 5 stars from me.

This is the first negative review I have ever given. I bought this product in Oct 2019. Unfortunately it lasted 17 months then failed completely. I then contacted Pro Breeze to notify them the product had failed. Although they were very apologetic about their product failing after only 17 months they we’re not in a position to remedy the fault. I then looked into why the product had failed and at the same time asked Bro Breeze for help and advise. So at least I could try to fix the problem, but alas I got yet more apologies but no help. Golden Review Award: 186 From Our UsersThis ProBreeze dehumidifier product works extremely well. It definitely packs a lot of punch for its weight. The 1.5 litre condensate bowl is class-leading for the size. I do not have to empty the tank frequently. I have tested the auto shut-off function for a full water tank; it works. No concerns about water overflowing and spilling. It is rather quiet, yet super effective. This convincingly represents excellent value for money and will certainly disrupt the dehumidifier marketplace! To top it all, the device always has a cheeky smile and wink!

Excellent value for money, does what it says.

I have used this product for the last 3 weeks. The amount of moisture it collects is amazing and the bedroom smell of must and damp is no longer noticeable. The noise is a quiet noticeable whirring noise but doesn’t stop me sleeping. With regards to energy saving I won’t know until I get my electric bill so only gave it a 3. I would definitely recommend it and considering buying another for another room.

We have a problem with mould in the house. Go this to help remove the moisture, it appears to be doing the job. It has a fan so bear this in mind for noise level, but nothing very obtrusive.
Clear, removable water container to show you the amount of moisture it has taken out of the atmosphere, it should take a couple of days or more to fill, we do it daily and only have it running during the day.
    Very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is small and fairly effective for our spare room, which is essentially used for drying clothes. We’ve used it in the morning to help reduce some of the condensation on our main room too.

It isn’t quiet though, granted it’s quieter than a full on dehumidifier, but you couldn’t sleep through it. It also doesnt take as much water out of the air as it claims.

All in though, this type of machine is useful for what it’s intended for and I’m glad I bought it.

I like about this machine that it is portable and not noisy which is very important in my opinion, however the unit I received appears to have some functionality issues, I’ve been in contact with the supplier and they have been very understanding and showed extreme care for their customers’ satisfaction. So, I’m very satisfied by their services, as they prove to be trustworthy and reliable supplier, which makes me to believe that the issues I’ve experienced with my machine are not related to brand quality issues in general, but rather specific to the unit I have.

I bought my first house in April but unfortunately I have been having damp problems in the kitchen. I was advised to purchase a dehumidifier to help with this and bought the Pro Breeze. It is compact, easy to use and has a one year warranty even better I registered online and was given an extra two years I bought the 1.5l and easily plugged it in. There is a very low hum that is just white noise after a matter of minutes and didn’t even annoy the dog After 4 days the water needed emptied so Definitely working. The damp smell in the kitchen is nearly eradicated and I can actually see the difference in my cupboards. In the mornings my windows have condensation and I notice the reduction every day.
Best buy this year and hopefully after a couple of weeks my damp problem will have been a thing of the past.
Five stars all round with this compact machine

    Best buy this year 🌟

I’m quite impressed by this little dehumidifier! We had a leak in the kitchen from our neighbours dishwasher and after that was fixed, the dehumidifier greatly helped to dry up the walls and ceiling and to take away the damp smell. I’d say it probably works better in smaller rooms than in open spaces. It makes a little humming sound, in my opinion it is rather quiet. Also, it’s very energy efficient, it hardly used up any energy and we had it running for about a week. Good value for money, I’d say!

Having run the Pro Breeze dehumidifier for over a month I am delighted with it’s performance. I have used the dehumidifier in my cellar which has in the past suffered from condensation during the summer months.. It removes in the order of 500 to 600ml per day so I only have to empty it every couple of days. The product is well made and highly efficient. The follow up customer service has been excellent and the company clearly care about their business.
Buy this product with confidence as it works.

I have used this dehumidifier for two things: removing water from the sun room where I dry my clothes and for getting a better night’s sleep in the bedroom on warm, humid nights. It works well for both. You can hear the motor but it is not intrusive and of a similar level to the Dyson fan heater/cooler which I also transport about the house depending on what I want it for.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI tend to suffer from breathing difficulties mainly on a night in hot, humid weather, which means that I have many nights of hardly any sleep. This being the case I decided to get a dehumidifier to try to help bring the moisture levels down in my bedroom.

When it arrived I was sceptical as it is so small, I really didn’t have high expectations. When I first plugged it in I was also surprised by how quiet it is. Left it on for a few hours and was really surprised at how much moisture is removed from the air. I place it close to my bed for a few hours before bed and this helps the area where i sleep – if not the whole room – feel much fresher, and less sticky, and in turn is helping my breathing by keeping the damp off my chest.

It is quiet enough to be used all night as it is no louder than a standard fan. For something so small, it is amazing how much moisture it can extract in just a matter of hours and at 60 it is cheaper than a lot of other dehumidifiers. Excellent value product, highly recommended!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this to dehumidify my bedroom, which feels far warmer than it is due to humidity, leading to uncomfortable nights’ sleep and that feeling that you can’t get properly dry after a shower, for example.
I plugged it in in the late afternoon, and it certainly made a difference. Although, I would say (like other reviewers) that it takes some time to actually start doing its job. This is because of the way Peltier effect works, and means it should be left on to work effectively. There’s a pretty large heatsink of what looks like machined aluminium inside the machine, finned to provide surface area, and the Peltier device needs to bring the temperature of this heatsink down to well below ambient temperature for moisture to start condensing on it. After about 6 hours it started condensation, and the first few drops dribbled down into the reservoir. Over the next 6 hours, it produced a good amount of water, and the air in the room feels appreciably drier and more comfortable. I expect it would have no trouble extracting the claimed 500ml/day, depending on conditions (it can’t get water out of the air if the air’s already pretty dry!). Ambient temperature is also a factor.
So, it does what it says, in a pretty small form factor.
The only issue I have is that it is described as ‘ultra-quiet’ and ‘whisper quiet’. If you want something unnoticeable, then this isn’t for you. However, I often have a fan and/or air filter going anyway, so don’t need total quiet to sleep. It’s about the volume of a blow heater, or a desk fan on medium – there’s a gentle whooshing, with little mechanical noise from the internal fan. Having had a brief look as much as I can, it seems to be the type of fan you can buy for computer cases, and I’m sure that it wouldn’t be difficult to replace the (doubtlessly cheap) fan with one expressly built to be very quiet.
All in all, a good buy, but if using in a bedroom be aware that it does make more noise than you might hope. Nothing too disturbing, though.

This was smaller than I thought it would be. However this makes it ideal to move around and put it wherever you want it. I have found it has been very effective in practice. I check the reservoir daily and usually empty it every 2-3 days when it is anything between 30% to 50% full. Amazing how much moisture is in the atmosphere. We have noticed the difference in the kitchen where we use it which had a leak and things are dryin g out well. Recommended

Hello, I live in a very damp basement flat. I didn’t understand humidity, what it was and how it can cause unknown illness. I bought this product 2weeks ago and plugged it in. From the begining it started drawing moisture from the air. The noise doesn’t bother me. It makes the rooms smell better and I feel better in my bones. I suffer with RA in my knees and hips. Zero pain. I am still tired from living here for 11yrs with no air conditioning but I managed, just about until the pain started getting a lot worse. I believe the dehumidifier has made the atmosphere bearable again. It is good for small spaces accept the place where u put your fingers to pick it up could have more grip. It doesn’t drain my electric meter either. On rainy days it needs to be on all day, and with the central heating they make a great combo. I don’t know how long this will last but since I can feel the benefit every day I would not question wether or not it’s right to buy another once this one breaks done. Thank you ProBreeze! I can breath again.

Just purchased a one and a half litre machine for my lounge and fits in great with minimal amount of noise. Both machines highly recommended. Sorry to say the first machine has stopped working after only 22 months so although do the job it appears they don’t last very long. Such a shame as will not be purchasing replacement.

It certainly did just that and the room feels fresher in the morning after having the dehumidifier on all night. It does make a noise, but not enough to disturb sleep.
I’ve also used it in the utility room where the washing machine and drier are, and it has helped to reduce condensation there too. It is very easy to empty the collection drawer. Really pleased with my purchase.

Used the de humidifier for the mother in laws bedroom where the radiator was leaking for a week while she was away and she came back to a completely soaked carpet. I sucked all the surface water up and then left the de humidifier in the room with the door closed and it went to work extracting the water out of the carpet and within a week it was completely dry. It’s very portable and thought it was bigger when I ordered it but it still done the job but obviously not as quick as a bigger de humidifier. Delivery was as per usual excellent.

We bough it after having damp treated in three walls in our smallest bedroom. It is very quiet in operation considering the amount of water it produced just after a few days, around 0.75 litres.
Its been running fairly constantly for over a week and is still dragging moisture out of the walls. I emptied it again today after emptying it two days ago and another 0.75 litres have been stored in the water tank.

Please firstly note over the years I have purchased 2 top of the range dehumidifiers from Delongi & Ecoair both around 200. I always thought these were good but too big for a bedroom window damp problem I now have. At this bargain price I thought I would give it a go & after 1 night it had already blew me away. Damp problem already now sorted, so now wanted to compare this in a room where the Delongi was. This little beauty will out perform the a lot more expensive dehumidifiers which the seller told me but I had to see for myself to believe it. Also it is that quiet in the bedroom I sleep like a baby.

Golden Review Award: 209 From Our UsersI ordered this after my son was born and due to dampness in the walls as I live at the end of terrace house, I can say this is the best thing I ever bought, before I used a humidifier which cause the dampness to appear quicker than I expected so I returned the item back and purchase this de-humidifier, after using for a week near the worst affected area I noticed it pulled so much water into the tank and my dampness disappeared completely on my newly painted wall, I continue to use on other places that gets affected and no more dampness since, every year I have to paint my walls due to dampness but I think this has saved me from all that hassle also the air in the room smells better now and my newborn baby sleeps well. The de-humidifier itself is not loud at all and can leave running overnight, it’s well made with decent long cable and small enough to leave in gaps.
Overall I loved this product and already recommended to others who have similar issues like me.

During a minor refit I noticed a couple of damp patches low down between floor and walls. Our tewo main concerns were value for money and compactness. Our first thought was to hire a dehumidifier but we could not find one small enough to be able to live with us on the boat! We started looking at buying one and the ProBreeze jumped at us. The size is perfect, the capacity is great for trhe size of the unit and the retail pricing was well within our budget. An amazing product . After moving to Scotland, I have problems with the climate, mainly humidity. Everything is damp. I bought a smaller version of this device a couple of years ago, but it was too small to be useful in a room. I have however made good use of it to dry laundry, quite effectively. I wanted a bigger, more efficient device, so I got one from the same company. This extracts a lot more humidity from the air. So far, about a pint a week at 50%, last week nearly two pints. It’s reasonably quiet and simple to use, but I kind of wish I had two more of these, one for every room in the flat. I’ll never get down to the 25% humidity I’m used to, this country is too damp, but this device surely helps.

    [Edit]

I have now bought a second full-sized device. I now get roughly 1.8 litres of water out per week. I’m very happy with these machines.

Our integral dishwasher developed a leak, which did not become obvious to us for some time, being totally hidden within its close-fitting cupboard in our kitchen. So we needed to dry out that cupboard after discovering the problem and having it rectified. Your little 1500ml unit was compact enough to fit easily in the space available, did the job of drying out the cupboard surfaces although taking several days, and was very easy to use. For such a job, it has been ideal, and we shall hold on to it, hoping not to need it, but nevertheless, prepared for future problems! Hope your business will prosper.

This has proven to be a decent dehumidifier. I was expecting it to be noisy, but far from it. There is a sound constantly emitting from it but it is a gentle one rather than being brash, i’m very sensitive to sound and can bear it.
It is easy to maintain, with the water compartment accessible to empty.
It is small therefore does not weigh much and this makes it simple to move from room to room.
The atmosphere feels so much better in my house and visitors have noticed.
A particularly good feature is the emails I have received from the manufacturer, giving advice on maintenance and promising good customer service in the light of any difficulties.

Golden Review Award: 169 From Our UsersSince our children left home we had bedrooms that were unoccupied and were feeling cold and damp. I purchased this Dehumidifier to try and pull the dampness out of the air in the room. The 1500ml tank means it can run 24/7 for days before the tank needs emptied. It seems strange to see so much moisture being pulled out of the air in an unoccupied room. I bought this to use in my bathroom as once the sun disappears in September my bathroom suffered from damp and mould. Putting on the heating early does solve this but with rising energy costs, I decided to try something different.
So far so good, I leave it running for the approx. 30 mins it takes me to dress up and dash out for work after my shower and I am happy to say that by that it is has been enough time to clear up the condensation that has settled on the towel rail and walls. For idea of bathroom size, it is not a big lbathroom but it does have a bath and a separate shower. The mould that collects on the ceiling has also not returned. I went for the larger 1500 ml model as I wasn’t sure how much moisture would be collected. I’ve used it for a few days and it is nowhere near full.
In terms of noise, I have found the noise level to be lower than the cheap fans we all get for Summer. Looking at my energy usage, it is looking good too so far – no significant rise in costs. Overall, I recommend.

Golden Review Award: 162 From Our UsersI bought this machine because we live in a very old cottage with a back porch that has no DPC and seems to attract the damp to such an extent that after several days of rain (and snow) the stone walls very quickly feel wet and black mould begins to appear. We had previously used a small, cheap dehumidifier that helped to ease the situation but lasted only a few months before giving up the ghost. I was a little apprehensive when this machine produced nothing but a couple of teardrops after the first 24 hours but very shortly after this the tank started to fill up quickly and there was a noticeable improvement in the porch. Now, after about three weeks of constant use the tank has received more than 5 litres of water and the walls are relatively dry and the black mould can be wiped off without returning (so far). We are so pleased with the improvement in our porch that we are about to order a second machine to use in one of our bedrooms that seems to attract damp. Highly recommended on the basis of the results so far.

A first class product, arrived within the stated time, well packed. Was surprised by how neat and compact the Dehumidifier is, but after connecting it to the electric, which was very quick and easy was very impressed with its efficiency, not as quiet as expected but quite acceptable, after one day in the kitchen it had absorbed a fair amount of water.
Bought this to replace an old dehumidifier that had given in after 7 years good service, it was bigger and much heavier than the Pro Breeze, it extracted more humidity, but this smaller replacement is more than adequate.

A good little dehumidifier that has now transformed a bedroom from a damp condensation one into a warm and welcoming one. Amazed at how much water it has removed in just a few days, making the room feel warmer and removing the condensation from the windows and the walls. My only issue with this product is that it would benefit from a humidistat because the machine continues to run and only stops when the water tank is full, a minor detail but needed in my opinion.

Golden Review Award: 106 From Our UsersIt does the job very nicely (while being not too big for my room) – my room looks out to the north and is a bit damp, and I have to dry my clothes in my room too, having no separate drying space – so before I got this dehumidifier, my clothes wouldn’t get dry for almost a week, and they would get a slightly stale smell – now that I got the dehumidifier, it takes only some two days for my clothes to get dry, and the sale smell is gone – it accumulates a good mug of water daily in the container. The humming noise it makes does not disturb too much, it’s actually relaxing. So I strongly recommend this dehumidifier!

I don’t find it too noisy, but then it is in our lounge, turned on mostly overnight. We don’t hear it from upstairs or other rooms. When we do use it in the daytime, it is not unpleasant, but the noise can sometimes ‘grow’ on you psychologically, and you suddenly have to turn it off for a while. It helps keep a lid on the rising damp in our old property.

The amount of water it collects shows just how damp the property is, has provided valuable evidence for the landlord, and so far there has been no recurrence of the mould. He has only been using it for a couple of weeks, se we cannot comment on running costs or longer term use. But so far, it has been money very well spent.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe’ve had a problem with damp and mold particularly in our bedroom ever since we moved in a year ago and despite leaving windows open and bleaching the walls, nothing seemed to keep the dampness away. It got to the point where the top of the duvet would feel damp in the mornings when I decided something more had to be done about it. I bought the Pro Breeze Dehumidifier and within hours the air in the bedroom felt drier and much more fresh. Our bedroom is quite large with only a tiny window, so I wasn’t expecting it to do anything amazing, but it proved me wrong! After around 5 hours a lot of water had already filled in the bottom of the drawer- seriously impressive and great that you’re able to see the machine working its magic. I would recommend this machine to anyone, seriously worth every penny!

Golden Review Award: 124 From Our UsersThis amazing little piece of equipment is a miracle. We have a very damp basement/cellar in our Georgian home where fungus grows on the walls in the Winter – yuk. Everything stored down there disintegrates over time – even paint on metal starts to peel. HOWEVER, within 12 hours of using the Pro Breeze the basement smelled different (one hundred times better), it felt different and it even felt warm. The dehumidifier is collecting loads of water and I can now say, hand on heart, that I would even be prepared to sleep down there if I had to! Not only does it more than do the job, it is fantastic value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis dehumidifier was purchased as a cheaper alternative to the larger more expensive models, for occasional use in an entrance hall, to limit problems with damp and condensation.

Overall, over a period of months, it has proved appropriate to purpose, although there is often a need to move it from one part of the (smallish) room to another, to allow it to focus on different sections, which had never been the case with a larger dehumidifier that I had used for this purpose in the past. However, the Pro Breeze dehumidifier was a more cost-effective purchase, is cheaper to run than its larger predecessor and takes up far less space. It is also quieter.

My conclusion, therefore, is that this dehumidifier is fine for use in small, confined areas, but would probably struggle to serve its purpose in a larger, more demanding environment. It would also be unlikely to have appropriate workhorse characteristics to survive the rigour of day-to-day use, but is fine for occasional use in a limited environment and is also extremely portable (which would make it an asset in a caravan, for instance.)

Update – after having the issue I reached out to them and they immediately sent me a brand new product in which they had rectified the transformer issue no questions asked. It works great now and no issues since the. If anything would have expected more pro activity from the company initially to recall and replace the product when there was a clear issue. All in all good product and prompt service on the warranty.

    Pros:
Nice compact dehumidifier for a small flat.
It worked ok for the first 4 – 5 months
    Looks decent and not bulky.

    Cons:
Low power. It takes about 4 – 5 days to fill up.
Draining water out the pan takes forever. They should make it easier to just pour out.

I would have given the appliance 3 – 4 stars in working condition however about 5 months in the battery element of the charger had started to melt at which point I immediately stopped using it. Submitting in for warranty now so will update based on how the claim goes.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersReceived this product sooner than expected, opened up and was amazed at the size, it might be small but it does what it is supposed to do, I was amazed at how much water was collected in a short space of time, a must have for anyone experiencing a damp problem.

Bought one of these for a bedroom area that has issues with mould and dampness. Prior to buying an active dehumidifier I was using 4 passive dehumidifiers (the ones you refill with white granules) and still had mould issues.

I’ve not owned this pro breeze dehumidifier long so I can’t speak for mould reoccurence yet but it is collecting a lot of water. It fills (1500ml) within 3 days typically and that is much more than the passive dehumidifiers collected in 4 weeks. Got tired of handling the gross passive dehumidifiers and refilling them and they were not very effective which is what prompted me to get this.

Dumping the water is a little odd and not intuitive at first (a rubber stopper you pull out) but its not a big deal.

The sound is a little loud on this I suppose (wouldn’t use it in my living room with a tv) but I don’t find it any louder than a normal fan and can sleep through it just fine and I am a fairly light sleeper.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersFather, being an extremely experienced electrical engineer recommended this de humidifier to me when he saw it on Amazon. Small, compact, one of the few I’ve seen of this size and low price with the Peltier technology in it, the others all floor standing units, huge and highly priced, hence why I’ve never had one. He told me that it is low voltage (3 amps) so shouldn’t cost much to run, and could even run off one of my extensions (provided I didn’t exceed the socket’s total power output of 13 amps here in the UK).

I have had the de humidifier 12 days now. In the short time I have had it, it has done a good job. Since getting in the new fortress double glazed windows that don’t let anything heat wise through them, I have had the problem of drying my laundry in my medium sized lounge as the air humidity has gone rather high. I don’t tumble dry, costs too much on the electric living alone.

First impressions? Really quiet, as shown in the short video I have posted. Really small and compact, only goes up to the first cross sections on my airer. The tank is clear so I can see how much water is in it, although I have always emptied it before the ‘full’ light has gone on. I left it between the airers over night, and during the first few hours when the room usually gets quite humid, I had no humidity whatsoever, just the nice smell of laundry detergent coming off them. So 100% improvement on that situation. I don’t use it at other times as my rooms aren’t generally humid as the house is fairly new.

Very portable so I could use it in other rooms around my home, so I tried it in the bathroom after a long shower on an extension lead, leaving it near the entrance just behind the closed door. However, after three hours, the room felt even more humid than it did before I put the de humidifier in there. Sadly, this was the other reason I bought it for, so I won’t be able to use it for that and will have to resort to opening the window again making the room cold!

I have used the de humidifier for about 9 laundry drying sessions, each about 12 hours long, and have collected more than a litre of water, as shown in the picture of the old tonic water bottle I washed out as these are easy to clean out to save the water in, as the rest of it I have used in my iron, as it is, in fact, an impure form of distilled water, suitable for situations like ironing (although I don’t recommend you use it for your car battery!). This means I am now going to have more water for ironing than I need so I don’t have to go to the local hardware store to buy it in bottles, as it’s better to use distilled water in irons than tap water that can really lime scale your iron’s small pipes up.

In conclusion this is a great little unit for medium sized rooms where humidity is a little high and something is needed to extract the water. Free ironing water, low noise even when I’m sleeping at night, low power cheap to run, and the cord is detachable for easier storage. Even has a convenient groove in the back for carrying it with.

Pictures : Back, front showing height next to airer, water collected in just 108 hours,
Movie : Low sound whilst operating.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is my 3rd purchase since 2016.

Firstly, this device does its job well. My walls are dry, my room is mould free. The tank fills up, especially in the cooler months. This is one of the reasons I keep getting this dehumidifier.

The lead is too short now (but looking at past reviews, I see why the extension has been taken away). Before I was able to put it on a bookcase or wardrobe, now it sits on the floor. I prefer the dehumidifier not to be obvious. Although it’s great they’ve taken measures to ensure the device is safe to use.

My previous purchases broke down. I’m hoping the change they’ve made means this won’t happen. But I see now there’s Warranty extension, breakdown/ accidental cover available to purchased when purchasing the device. For this reason, I’m happy to get the dehumidifier again.

Edit: the changes the company have made have been a massive improvement and the model works well removing moister. I’m very happy. I’m keeping at 4 star though, because they’ve put the price up substantially since I made my last purchase.

It works, my room is mould free...
