Have seen a lot of negative reviews. All I know is after one afternoon, evening, about 7+ hours it produced about 3/4 inch of water! Definitely worth the money. Register product online for free 2 year warranty
Does a good job in a bedroom that’s prone to condensation. The noise level isn’t too bad but find it a little too loud to sleep with. overall pleased with the purchase
The item arrived in good time.. I am using it in the outside brick store as it was nearly built.
I check it once a week and have to empty the water from the tray. It switches itself off when the try is full which helps.. so far all good.
Excellent in every way. One of the best things I’ve ever bought. Had serious damp issues in my living room on an external wall. Having this running pretty much constantly it removes about 1 to 2 litres of moisture from the air a week and has completely sorted out the damp This is my second year of using this dehumidifier.
This machine is sited in a mostly solid walled sun lounge which adjoins a kitchen where we already have a chemical moisture trap on a window sill. Approximately 350 sq ft in total area. The chemical trap was not coping with the moisture when cooking boiling kettles etc letting mould accumulate on the sun room walls especially in cold damp weather. With the dehumidifier in place and used daily with windows and doors shut for about 8 hours there is a huge difference as it collects the moisture which is easily emptied. I have not calculated the extra cost of electricity but there is a slight increase on this January ever last January but the weather would also play a part. The only downside is the noise level which is comparable with the fan on an electric heater.
This is running constantly and does the job well of taking excess moisture out of the walls and windows. Not silent but when background noise is on it’s not noticeable, definitely made a difference and would recommend.
Very effective, put it to work as soon as it arrived and it’s already collected a substantial amount. Obviously the more you spend the better they get but this is definitely a good starting point. Tried others in the past but they weren’t quite as effective.
So I saw all the others at curry’s etc were 150, so this felt like a bit of a gamble. However no need to worry! It looks and feels quality, very simple to operate and does an amazing job. We wash clothes on dryer indoors in the winter and the room had condensation on inside of windows and the room and clothes smelt damp. With this on everything was bone dry and the room and clothes smelt lovely. It is very quiet and low energy use, had it on for 1 week so and tray is 1/4 full of water. One of the best purchases i’ve ever mad, a great quality price at a bargin price.
Its great, low noise and does what it should..would definitely recommend
I bought this super little dehumidifier for a spare bedroom that smelt musty. We have an old granite cottage and I can hardly believe how much water it has drawn since we installed it a couple of months ago. It doesn’t seem to have use much electricity and is quite quiet. The room feels fresher and it is working very well. It needs emptying ever 3-4 days. I am very pleased it’s performance. It is small but very efficient. The room is 10′ x 12′ with a wooden floor. The room has west and north granite walls and has always been a little damp. Not now it feels much better.
This is the first time I bought anything like that so I wasn’t sure what to expect. If you expect “in 2 hours to have it full of moisture” .. NO .. but in 24 hours YES ! And it really sucks humidity out as you’d expect, you can feel the dryness in the air/place after 24 or so hours. Not sure about energy efficiency but it seems it does not consume that much. We use it in various places, including removing moisture from a car, it does work, just leave it do its work for at least 12 .. 24 hours.
The unit has no control to set humidity level which means that it runs contiuously.
The main criticism is that there appears to be a mesh filter inside the unit, but there is no mention in the manual of how it should be cleaned. If the filter gets clogged I asume the unit would need to be dismantled. I live next to the sea and the humidity is often 98% I have put the unit into the car and hope it stop the car steaming up as it is warming up.
This is a great little product for a medium size bedroom prone to damp. I run this usually overnight (my son likes white noise) and this prevents any damp/condensation build up. Occasionally I will run during the day as well. I was hesitant when I received the product as it’s so small but it’s definitely worked for me. I need to empty regularly (about every 4-7 days but depends on lots of different factors)
We have a damp bedroom due to warped windows (waiting for new windows) and we tried this product. Overnight, we saw that the moisture has reduced significantly. Whilst opening windows help in the day, this product has helped massively in the night when it is too cold to keep the windows opened. Would wait to see how this product works when we finally change our windows in a month’s time!
Before buying this product, we suffered from damp and mould in our living room. The living room is not small: we use it for sitting and relaxing, working from home on our desks, and eating at our dining room table. Despite the size of the room, our damp and mould problems have completely disappeared since buying this small machine. We leave it on essentially 24/7, and it usually becomes full in about 3 days (so 72 hours), although depending on the conditions it sometimes takes longer. It’s important to note that you might not see any differences with damp/mould for the first week, as was our case, but after about 5 days the prior-mentioned problems were completely (and continue to be so) eliminated. 100% recommend.
I purchased this to help dry out plaster which it has done pretty effectively. It is quite noisy though. My one gripe is the ‘handle hole’ in the back which isn’t great for picking it up. I succeeded in knocking the unit over which seemed to cause something inside to become loose and rattle, however it seems to work fine nevertheless.
Purchased this to help combat condensation when several people meet in our conservatory on a cold day. Just our close family of 8 met for Christmas dinner. Previous years the condensation was pretty bad but with the ProBreeze switched on it was definitely an improvement. There was still quite a problem with condensation but opened windows combined with the ProBreeze reduced that problem to an acceptable level and also meant the conservatory was dry next day. Had about a centimeter of water in the reservoir so not a major amount but it did help, just don’t expect miracles from a dehumidifier that cost considerably less than, and is not as big, as the more ‘professional’ dehumidifiers on sale.
Works well extracting moisture from the air and has sorted our condensation problem in our spare room, the only down side is that it is a bit noisy, if you are sitting quietly you are aware that it is on, but we just turn it off at night and run it through the day.
It little too noisy for the bedroom but for the rest of the house very effective.
I brought this for my sister as she lives in a flat and has to dry her washing on an airier. No room for a tumble dryer either. It was taking her 72 hours to dry her clothes but since running this it’s all dry overnight.
She’s even happy to have her “crusty” towels back. I prefer mine soft and fluffy but it wouldn’t do for us all to be the same.
I have had the dehumidifier running in my bedroom for a couple of weeks now, during which, I have had to empty the water collection tray a number of times, so it is obviously works. I am monitoring the RH in the room with hygrometers, and the RH does drop when it is in use. Whether the unit is sufficient in size for my bedroom (which isn’t the largest of bedrooms), I do not yet know, as the RH can still get close to 70% at times, and condensation still forms on the windows and French doors, when we have a cold night. I do however live in a detached bungalow, with cavity wall/loft insulation, uPVC windows/doors, all the things that are renowned for resulting in condensation issues.
After years trying those things with disolvable tablets which I didnt like having in rooms where we sleep, this is much more efficient and healthy-feeling for tackling heavy condensation on the windows on winter mornings (destroying the wood and causing mold). Now we put this on for an hour or so first thing in the morning and it clears the windows pretty quickly. Also use it when drying washing indoors.
I bought a large one and put it in the living room but I bought this because I have alot of condensation and mould issues in my bedroom.
If you have a space big with condensation and mould please invest in a larger model, this isn’t ideal for bigger areas.
It works but it doesn’t have a auto defrost which is pretty essential in British winters. In colder weather it may not perform well and it could over heat.
I wasn’t sure that this would solve the damp problem in my bedroom caused by condensation. However, on discovering a nasty patch of mould I had to do something. I though this would at least reduce the damp issue. In fact it has exceeded my expectations and solved the condensation problem in 3 days. I plugged it in on Sunday and left it running 24 hrs a day. By Tuesday the condensation which has been a constant feature for weeks, has gone. Very pleased.
Very easy to use, however for an old person something written in the instructions on how to empty it would be ideal. We had great difficulty seeing there was a little plug that needed to be taken out. The writing under the plug which is white the same as the plastic cannot be seen by an old person. It obviously needs to be in a different colour.
My daughter moved into a small apartment and is using an electric clothes horse so I bought her this de humidifier, its working really well, it is more powerful than I thought it would be. Great Price for what you get. We are very happy
This has been fab, my work clothes and kids school clothes can’t go in the tumble dryer so I have to hang them on an airer, I bought this to prevent dampness and the damp smell that you sometimes get, I can’t leave my window open all day so this works fantastic for taking the moisture from the air. Use it daily, haven’t noticed any difference with my electric prices.
Small and efficient but the fan does make a light noise if you are in the same space. Very good overall
I like that it came quickly and that it does what it says, I love in an end terrace and the end wall in winter is always damp but this pro breeze helps to keep the room from feeling damp I also use it to dry my washing I the utility room does the job brilliantly.
I had a leak in my conservatory and water had come through the ceiling. My roofer suggested buying one and it is amazing how much water it sucks up. The place doesn’t feel damp anymore. Good value for money and very pleased with purchase.
I got this after a couple of incidents that required a dehumidifier. I got a loan of a friends one for drying me out, they have a big one that cost more than 200 and it does an excellent job, pulls a ridiculous amount of water out. Thought it was time I got my own one. Compared to that this thing doesn’t compare obviously, it’s around a quarter of the size and quarter of the price, however put it to work and leave it doing its thing and slowly the tank begins to fill. I would say it’s better suited to something to help a damp area rather than an emergency drier outer. Loses a star as despite the description stating “whisper quiet” it isn’t. I mean it isn’t loud noisy just a motor whirring kind of noise but being in the same room as it would be annoying. I have an entry stairway in my flat that doesn’t have a radiator so it can get a bit damp in the winter, carpet gets wet with soggy shoes and never dries properly kind of thing, so I just leave this thing running now and again, it sucks out some water, window seems to have less condensation and no mouldy parts appearing on the walls so it seems to be doing the job.
In summary it’s a dehumidifier, it dehumidifies but don’t go expecting to be amazed by the amount of water it can extract, for that you will need to spend a bit more money. It’s a bit noisy, you certainly wouldn’t want to have it in your bedroom. But for the price it does a decent job.
Never brought one before but brought it for verandah in our bungalow we have just moved into . So pleased with product . It has already removed a lot of moisture after three days and room feels so much better . Windows are not soaked in water any more. Easy to use . I don’t consider it noisy but it is not in main rooms . Portable and not unpleasant to look at . Unable to comment long term use as only had it few days
For smaller rooms , conservatory, verandah etc I would definitely recommend.
This is a small, but very efficient device. It collects humidity I was not aware I had! I have issues with condensation on the windows and since I started using this dehumidifier, there has not been any. It does not take much space (it fits on my bookcase shelf), however it is a bit noisy for my standards. I would not have it in my bedroom and I can still hear it working in the living room when I go to bed (I am in a flat). Nevertheless, I am very pleased with it and I do recommend it.
PS: the manual in the box suggests the tray is cleaned at least a week. Does anyone know how the top of the tray comes off so it can be cleaned?
This is brilliant for small houses or if you only want to use in a small room.
Great idea if you dry washing indoors or just for condensation on windows. Definitely recommend this one.
Bought this for daughters studio flat, made a huge difference, no more dampness and she can now get her washing dry. Not had her electric bill yet but to date it does everything it says on the box. Also made the flat feel warmer as the atmosphere is dry.
Takes a while to drain the water tank after as only has a small plug hole and important to keep it empty so doesn’t get mouldy. It is very useful to have as you will find water collect even if you think your room is dry. It is so quiet you hardly know it’s there. Ideal for small spaces but if you need to get rid of a lot of water in the air you will need it on a lot.
Is not as quiet as others reviews are saying, I mean you can clearly hear it like a bathroom fan. Other than that seems to be doing the job.
Had a small leak in utility room it seems to be working fine
Decent dehumidifier for small places such as kitchen, bedroom or bathroom and very damp places in the UK.
One bad thig is it cannot work continuously for 24 hours 7 days a week so consider getting another one for running for 12 hours and then give it a 12 hours rest or get more powerful item. General rule-good things do not come cheaply.
I should probably purchase another for the other rooms. I have it on during the night and it does not disturb my sleep whatsoever but my sister is a light sleeper and cannot have it in her room on a night. It is easy to place away due to the size being about the size of a shoe box for ankle boots and it doesn’t look ugly when seen. It does grab a lot of water and I tend to empty it every 3 to 4 days if I leave it on all day.
Easy to empty and seems to work well collecting approx 500 ml a day but a bit to noisy for a bedroom.
This easily extracted 500ml in its first night of use in our bedroom. It is small and neat and easy to use.
While not loud it is noisier than I would have liked, especially for a bedroom maybe as loud as a laptop fan at full speed.
I use this in North facing bedrooms which do not benefit from the warmth of direct sunshine and good ventilation flow . The air quality after using the pro breeze was greatly improved reducing humid air build up which eventually causes mould and mildew if left untreated. I recommend users use this machine as part of a good air quality system and treat mould and mildew when first seen, try and use natural air flow by opening windows during the day, reduce moisture loss by placing lids on cooking pots, don’t place wet washing on radiators, open windows in shower/bathrooms and use the machine when windows are closed to maximise the collection of moisture. The machine itself is great if used intelligently as part of efficient air quality system. Too many people think dehumidifiers are magic machines but they do need intervention by the users to fully reduce condensation from rooms.
It does the job, my front room smelled of dump and i was shocked to see how much water this item took away in just one day. After approx. 4 days my room s smell is gone! Definetely reccomend it, very good for small spaces. The only down side is the noise, a little bit too loud for me.
Excellent dehumidifier for a small roomI also put my wet clothes in my room(living in Uk) and it has gathered a lot of water in the first daysConvenient, small and as for the noise,I don’t know why so many people complain about that, but it is not that noisy at all as they sayI slept at night with the device on,and it was like it wasn’t there,it was quiet. It’s doing its job properly and even on the first hour working,I felt the air changing breathing and at my hands tooHighly recommended for now(1 week)!
Easy to use dehumidifier. I use it in a kitchen linked to a time-switch for three hours on, three hours off use, in a house that is sometimes unoccupied for several days. The reservoir is deep enough to give best part of a week’s use, and its cut-off works well when the unit is full so no danger of overflowing. Good value for money. Quiet but not silent in use.
I definitely recommend……. Im hugely pleased with this dehumidifier…… it makes a noise, but so little noise that you forget that it’s on! We’ve had it on almost constantly to reduce the amount of moisture in our room, and it does a brilliant job….. which means areas of mould have pretty much gone, just a little speck here and there….. but in a room the size of a large bedroom with two people in it, the steam from the shower and kitchen, and only one small window that opens barely, this dehumidifier is a godsend!
It’s amazing seeing how much moisture it collects from the air in the room…. no wonder the mould grew so easily. Is a convenient size too…..fits into a pigeon hole shelf of our ikea unit with plenty of room to spare!
Approx: 31cms tall, 22cms wide, 15.5 cms deep
And a detachable power cable which is 1.5m long
It is very nice, it makes the air fresh in the room, the only downside is that it is a bit noisy, not much but you can still hear it, so I can not sleep with it o
Bit smaller than we expected but I’m sure that’s down to me not reading the description properly! It is great for small spaces, it worked well in our new house whilst we were doing work to help with the excess moisture we had going on.
I have a large Dehumidifier and now this one. I needed this originally for the wardrobe as we had some mould. Once I cleaned the mould and used this for the clean up. The mould never came back. I have since moved it rooms and you can barely notice that it is on and it will take days to fill so you don’t need to worry about constantly emptying it. If I buy another one for a different room I will not hesitate in purchasing this one agai
This little dude actually saved my sanity!
I have severe allergies and whenever I lie down I literally can’t breathe at all through my nose. But breathing through my mouth drives me insane – I can’t sleep or eat or anything.
I originally got this dehumidifier because over this extra cold winter we’ve had, we were getting extra moisture on the windows. This both reduced the moisture on the windows AND using it causes my nose to not block when I lie down!! I even had to call my breathing physio and let them know.
It works amazingly well for reducing the moisture in the air. It’s not the quietest, but then I have it right next to me. It doesn’t disturb my sleep at all.
ice .little dehumidifier. Good for small spaces. Put mine in the loft to help condensation. Slow to collect water and have to empty storage compartment tipping the water through a small hole until all the water has pushed out.
Doing the job though!
I use this product in my sons bedroom during the cold nights due to bad window condensation. The noise level isn’t that bad and, the product does work as I wasn’t expecting a result really but I wouldn’t mind getting another one.
Small and mobile ,seems to do the job that it was bought for unobtrusive but slightly noisier than expected. The main reason for buying this particular product was for the fact that it was advertised as being quiet and unobtrusive,I certainly could not sleep if this was in my bedroom,ok to move around into different rooms.
This 40w dehumidifier is a superb and cost-effective way to reduce humidity. It probably extracts about 400ml per day for me, very good for rooms above 15 degrees.
Also, contacted Pro Breeze support with some questions and they were very helpful. Would highly recommend!
Love the product. Put in my utility room which has had damp issues and needs to be emptied about once a week. Low energy use which is great. It is a tad noisyand I can hear it through the ground floor of the house (but I do have acute hearing). Would recommend this product +++ for its efficiency.
Has I already had two of the 500ml and found them good and quiet I decided to upgrade and get two of the 1500ml and they definitely work great only after a few week my walls have dried out but I find that they are quite noisy and have to shut it off at nigh
This dehumidifier is so small and quiet i bought a second one for another bedroom. It is not as quiet as just a fan, but not a lot louder – It is certainly no-where near as loud or as energy hungry as the large compressor-based type of units. although it does not remove as much moisture as the large units either but we can leave them running all day and night and they do not use much electric. It fills up a half a litre of water every day. it keeps the condensation on the windows and walls down to a minimum – no more little puddles at the bottom of the windows 🙂
I bought this item based on the good reviews, I had terrible mold on my walls in the sitting room with my marine tank been in a small room , it is also a old house with no insulation in the walls, I got it all decorated thinking that would sort problem out and it did for a couple of weeks, and then over Xmas I noticed mold and soaking wet walls, so seen these on amazon and thought I had nothing to lose so bought one, worked ok on one side of room but other side was still wet , so got another one for other side, after using both for a week I have never looked back , I just have to make sure I empty them of water , no more wet or mold on walls atall
I bought the 500ml version last year as we discovered damp in a fitted wardrobe, so we basically just left that running in the wardrobe the whole time. Was quite impressed, but the damp problem is getting beyond the tiny unit.
So while we’re waiting for covid to go away so we can get the damp sorted properly, we upgraded to the 1500ml version. It’s brilliant. Within the first day there was a significant amount of water in there. The noise level is like a desk fan, I’d say. Louder than the 500ml one (obviously), but we still sleep with it on.
In all, for the price it’s really good. Would recommend if you have damp or condensation!
Really helped with the damp and condensation in our back bedroom (aprox 12″x10″/3.6m x 3m) On the first day, in a few hours, there was 1cm worth of water. The noise level is low, however there is a light fan sound which is expected. I couldn’t sleep with the device on. Not too sure how energy efficient it is however it has significantly reduced the damp in the air and the room. Highly recommended.
We got this dehumidifier for the spare room for when we are drying the laundry and its brilliant. The laundry drys really quickly and the room has lost that musty damp smell. It is very compact but can still collect a large amount of moisture.
My only complaint is the dehumidifier is quite loud but as its in the spare room its not an issue for us.
Just brought 2 of these for our front bedrooms as we get a lot on moisture on the walls under the bays windows and on the windows themselves, left them on since yesterday and woke up to dry walls and hardly anything on the windows. The water tanks already have an inch of water in the bottom of each one so far very pleased.
Bought because we were getting mould in the box room and a fair bit of condensation on the window. Its been running for over a month now, we empty it probably every 4/5 days where its full. The window condensation has completely cleared up and the mould hasnt returned so this little beauty is definitely worth the money. Its a great buy. Im getting another for our caravan.
It does the job for small spaces. Compared to more expensive products it is nowhere near as effective, but it is about 20% of the price. Works fine for condensation control in a warmish room with decent ventilation. My experience is that for something like a damp garage, bathroom or conservatory, you need to spend more money, but for everyday use in the house is great.
Brilliant is a understatement! Put this in the outside bar my husband built. Has made a Hugh difference, compared to last year at this time of year where it is closed, it was covered completely in mold due to the damp. This year it is mold/mildew free. We go in every other day to empty the container, it’s always full! Showing how effective it is!!! Very pleased with the product, quality and the price. I would buy again if it ever needs replacing, it’s on Full time night and day, amazing for its size!
I bought this unit for a small bedroom that has poor heating. There as a lot of condensation on the Windows in the morning. The probreeze collects quite a lot of water, however the room needs to be warm for maximum efficiency. It is very quiet and can be switched on overnight. I just have it on from late afternoon till bedtime. The 1500ml tank fills in about 5 days.
Purchased this dehumidifier to help in a bedroom, laundry room and office as we were working from home more and I didn’t want to continually leave windows in the vent during the winter.
I’d previously used a much larger and more expensive dehumidifier which did dry washing same day with a low heat function – this isn’t as good but is far less cumbersome and lighter weight.
It is small enough to leave out on a desk top or counter and also quiet enough to run in an office while working. I’ve set it to a time and it runs most day for 8 hours collecting around 250ml from a bedroom or office
Nearly three weeks of usage and no issues. Removes reasonable amount of dampness (used in a room with four sides exposed to the elements), so efficiency is good. My view is that the product is quite loud so ear plugs are a must if used in a bedroom. For me, as the sound level is important (the product is labelled as ultra-quite) hence the 4 stars, otherwise no issues with issues so far. Where noise level is not issue, I’d give it 5 stars.
It extracts moisture out of the air, and places it into an easy to empty tray. It’s not quiet, but I use left on during the day in my bedroom, situated in the converted loft. On wet windy days, the humidity has topped 70% in my bedroom, which isn’t great. I bought this device to help keep them levels down a bit, and remove the condensation from the windows.
It does struggle to keep the humidity down, probably because of the size of the room, plus the poor insulation measures in the 60s built house. But it helps to keep the humidity down by 2-3% and provides easy to access water supply for my plants.
It is a fairly small unit though, so doesn’t require much space. Would best suit a better insulated area, and not 18m long.
I like the winking smiley face on the front of this device.
We bought this for a metal shed where we had recently installed a freezer. The roof of the shed was wet with condensation and the sides of the freezer were very wet so we bought one of these – what a great buy this turned out to be!
We placed it on top of the freezer and within hours the reservoir was half full and the sides of the freezer were dry, the roof above the freezer was also dry – result.
Within a few days the entire shed roof (and it’s a big shed) was completely dry and has remained so, all we need to do is empty the dehumidifier every two or three days – it’s about 1/3 to 1/2 full.
Our new freezer is lovely and dry as is the rest of the shed – no more rusty tools.
Well worth the money, and it doesn’t seem to cost too much in electricity.
It definitely helped to dry my laundry in the spare room.
It is noisier than I would want in a bedroom but I don’t even like a ticking clock so perhaps I’m not the best person to judge that.
At 40 watts it’s qiite economical to run but that does mean its not pulling huge quantities of air through so litres of water collected per day seems relatively low to me.
My bathroom usually runs with condensation after a shower, even with the extractor running. Having the window open doesn’t help if it’s wet outside. With this little dehumidifier running the air drys quickly and solves the problem while taking up very little floor space. The cable is short so an extension lead is required especially as there are no power points in the bathroom. Very quiet and efficient, impressed!
This has been a boon for my very small laundry ‘cupboard’. The walls had become mouldy from drying clothes on racks above the machines. I cleaned the walls with mildew remover and put this dehumidifier in there. All good so far, one month later and lots of clothes dried. I empty every day but could leave it for a few days if needed as the reservoir is large enough for three days. Using the collected water in my steam iron is a bonus!
Initially very impressed with this dehumidifier. I was sceptical as it seems most small-ish dehumidifiers don’t have great reviews, but I have a small mid-terraced three-bedroom house, so I was trying to decide whether or not to fork out 150+ for a larger one.
As we’re going into winter, we had a considerable amount of condensation accumulating on and around the inside of our bedroom windows, which was puddling on the window sills and creating some black mould around the frames. We ran this dehumidifier in one of the three bedrooms all day yesterday, with the rest of the bedroom doors open. Overnight we actually turned it off, and in the morning we saw barely any condensation in all of the three bedrooms. Very impressed!
Also build quality is top-notch and seems nice and sturdy.
The Dehumidifier was first class. The previous tenant had used the bedroom to vent her washing drier and as such the walls were saturated with water and black mould. My grandaughter tried all types of mould remover, no success and could not get the room to dry out.As she had a new born baby it was very important to solve the problem.
Using the Dehumidifier did exactly that within a couple of days. black mould is now gone and the room is now longer damp and smelly. No longer is condensation a problem at night. Machine is also quiet at night.
The dehumidifier was delivered very promptly- the following day which was very much appreciated.
Excellent Service and excellent Product.
ULTRA QUIET OPERATION ? – but by no means silent. Disappointed with how noticeable the sound is in our bedroom, too noisy to use while trying to sleep, in a small house you’ll be aware that it’s on.
Get your online supplier to demo it before you buy 🙂
On the box it suggests it’s good for use inside wardrobes – brilliant for wardrobes with a power socket inside, or you could just have the door open all the time!
It has a cute smiley face on top as well of two small lights and small plastic depression – like a small plastic teddy’s face – easy for a consumer to love.
I bought this for my utility room for use when drying laundry inside. It has a definite effect on the high humidity and I’m hoping will help eradicate the mould which has started to appear on the cold walls. It is definitely doing it’s job as the tank needs emptying fairly frequently when I am drying washing. It makes a noise when in use but this is quite acceptable and is nowhere near being a nuisance. It is compact enough to sit on a shelf but large enough to be confident it is up to the task.
This is a small dehumidifier for small spaces and works well in these circumstances. I use it in a small room (8’6″x10’8″) where I dry washing and it works very well – a don’t need to leave it on for more than a few hours. It doesn’t use much electricity either and doesn’t take up much space. It should be noted that dehumidifiers work best in a warm room. Can recommend.
I got this to help with drying washing over the rainy days – I’m find it great helps the washing dry faster and I’m no longer putting the heating on just for the washing! Also gave my neighbours a lend of it as they had a leak and it really helped them dry the area out. Its about the size of a small heater – the noise level is similar to a small fan but doesn’t affect me as the washing is usually in a different room.
This did what it was designed to do, dropping humidity levels by about 10-15% (from 65 to approx 50 rh on a reader) in a well-ventilated 3m x 3m space. It’s well-designed and very compact.
The one thing to note, which didn’t matter to me as it was not in a room I was using much, is that it did make a noise. I would not have been able to have it in a living room or bedroom without it being very noticeable, for example.
But for actively taking moisture out of a small space, it worked very well.
Perfect little dehumidifier…just what I needed. Using in a small bedroom at my sons flat where mildew has been a bit of a problem. This compact unit runs quietly and collects moisture efficiently. Easy to empty and economical to use. Fantastic price for a fantastic dehumidifier. Highly recommended.
Having already bought the mini version which is virtually silent but effective, the 1500 ml was bought for the larger space in the kitchen and is very effective there and takes up very little floor space. As you would expect It is noisier than the mini dehumidifier but quite acceptable.
It is an excellent machine for its price and size.
This has been ideal for my son’s ground floor flat. Within 2 days of using it the condensation in their bathroom had cleared up. It has meant they have been able to tackle a mould problem without it reappearing.
The noise is a gentle hum and does not disturb them, but I would not want it on at night in a bedroom for instance as I am a light sleeper. I would recommend this without hesitation.
Bought this de-humidifier for our spare bedroom as it has some condensation issues.
It works well ‘sucking out’ plenty of moisture,so it does a good job.
A little on the noisy side so it might be a little distracting if trying to sleep, but no problem for us as it is in spare room (turn it off when we have visitors)
Can’t comment on energy use as I have not been monitoring it.
Small and compact so not intrusive.
Bought this for an attic room used to store ‘things’ in that was showing a bit of damp. Works fine, I didn’t need the fast efficiency of a larger model, to have this going 24/7 works. Takes at least 3-4 days to fill so I can just check every few days. Wouldn’t be any good for a severe damp problem, but to keep damp from taking hold, excellent.
Small and lightweight dehumidifier that’s easy to carry around and can be placed anywhere so long as there’s a socket for the plug. Simple to use with virtually no controls and it’s effective. I’m using the humidifier in my bathroom at the moment and the black mould is disappearing from the tiles in the shower. There isn’t much but it’s definitely making a difference. Water is easily poured out when necessary and the whole thing is nicely made and well put together. I’d have to mention that it’s not silent and does make quite a bit of noise however; it’s not overpowering.
Quiet and effective. Also unobtrusive.
We live in a 200 year old Cottage, with stone walls. The rear of the cottage is mostly underground. Under normal circumstances we have no damp problem, but on extreme occasions there is moisture. We bought your dehumidifier yo use on those occasions, totally succesfull. Really pleased!
We have a large conservatory which suffers from condensation. We bought a hand held Karcher vac, to wipe away the condensation. As an experiment we put your dehumidifier in….wonderful.
We can only recommend your machine. We will probably buy another, to save the effort of moving room to room.
Your machine is both effective and affordable./

I bought this as we got a lot of mould in my new small flat. It feel like it is of quality build, and does the job well. I use it next to my heated airer and the clothes also dry much quicker! I would recommend this item and would purchase again. I’ve had it for a few months now too before writing this review.
I tried to cancel this order thinking the item was too small to do the job efficiently. Fortunately for me I was too late to cancel so for half the price of most dehumidifiers I have a super efficient machine that removes the moisture from the area . It is rather noisy with a constant fan noise but as I don’t live in that room it doesn’t matter. So far it hasn’t needed emptying after four days. It barely registers on my energy monitor.
Had it on for 10 hours during the day, appeared to capture a good amount of water and trracked it over the next two days over two 8 hour use periods.
Capturing water very well so does the job nicely in small rooms, about 150 square feet in size.
The noise is audible but not the worst, think extractor fan level maybe if that offers a comparison for readers.
Overall would recommend seems to be doing the job. I shall update in time if it fails or breaks down.
Like the headline says, I was skeptical at first and nearly didn’t buy it. I read so many reviews of so many different dehumidifiers and finally settled on this one, though it was a bit over my intended budget. I figured that if it didn’t work as stated, then I would try to return it. My skepticism came from the reviews on various similar products saying these type of small dehumidifers only work in very tiny spaces or that they don’t work well below a certain temperature. I’ve been thoroughly pleased with it though.
I bought this because I have a wash room (~8’x10′ / 2.44m x 3m) without climate control that had a terrible problem with damp. I’ve been using it for 10 months now, starting in winter (when the wash room was cold enough that I could see my breath). It works just as well during the coldest part of the year as it does in peak heat. Since I’ve started using it, I haven’t had to clean any damp or mold, which use to be a monthly chore. It’s incredible how much moisture it pulls from the air. Depending on the weather, I empty it 1-2 times a week.
It has worked so well that I think I’ll be getting one for a separate part of the house. It has been worth every penny and I’ve been kicking myself for not getting one sooner.
Excellent for the discounted price, so glad I didn’t get the smaller, cheaper model as this is literally bigger and better. It’s drawing a lot of water from a small room with a damp problem and It is quite quiet and easy to empty. Might be a bit too noisy in a bedroom while sleeping, although if you like the hum of a quiet fan you may find it soothing. During daytime I doubt you’d notice the sound at all. It’s very portable, so could be moved to other small spaces if required. Running costs are low, it’s like having an extra light or TV on, about 40 watts an hour. It is very sturdy and decent looking and I’m confident I won’t be using the 12 month warranty, although it would be good if we were asked to review products after a few month,s rather than a few days, as I don’t know if it will be as impressive come autumn and winter. Right now, it’s doing exactly what it says on the tin and I’m very happy with my purchase.
lets start with the con of the story, it runs about 40 db which is quite noisy if you are to have it on in the room you sleep in.
the pro’s – its small compact and works.
i have had it running for about 2 days now, and already for the computer room its in seen the device pull about 200ml of water a day from the room and even after such a short time i can feel the general atmosphere quality in there has improved as a result. the computer room is south facing and has developed some damp in the walls, it will be interesting to see how the Pro Breeze 1500ml Dehumidifier continues to perform over the weeks to come but from the short time i have had mine feel that i should and can be impressed by i
I originally bought this dehumidifier because we had had a leak that wet the carpets upstairs. Not only did this machine dry out our carpets really well after about a week. We also had a problem with condensation on the bedroom windows causing some black mould. It has also done an amazing job at drying this up so I have continued using it. It is a little noisy for the bedroom at night, so I leave it plugged in on the landing. I would definitely recommend, works really well for a small unit and at such a reasonable price.
I love this Humidifier it’s quiet and I use it in our bedroom as I suffer from asthma when the virus hit us two paramedics came and I had a cough and a high temperature and I was told I had a virus they were not sure I had the Covid virus or not but I was advised to isolate from my husband and brother in law and one of the paramedics asked me if I had a humidifier I sad no he said to get one as they were good when I saw this one I thought I would try it and I haven’t regretted it I would recommend this one to my friends and family
I bought this for my cellar which only shows signs of damp in summer as the warm air hits the cold air on the steps (I have no door on the cellar from the open plan kitchen/living area). It seems to be doing the trick; I only turn it on when it’s really hot outside. Is compact, very easy to use with literally an on/off button at the back. The noise level is average I guess. It’s also very portable so easy enough to move into the bathroom when showering perhaps.
Sorry the photo is sideways but you can see how compact it is. A great little gadge
On first setting this up I was pretty disappointed. It didn’t seem to be doing a lot in a very humid environment and it was much noisier than I expected. I fed that back to the supplier and they very kindly sent out another unit. That was just the same. However, over time, it seems to be working better and better and I’m now happy that it is reducing the humidity in the laundry room. The noise though, is still the same. It is not whisper quiet, it’s 60dB at 1m distance, which is about as loud as a normal conversation or a quiet-ish electric heater. As it’s in our laundry room I’m not too bothered but be aware if you want to use it somewhere where you live. All in all a good buy, and much cheaper/easier than adding an external vent which was our other option.
This little guy was bought for my bedroom as I had noticed some damp when decorating.
I noticed a difference In the air quality within one day. Being asthmatic I have also found I don’t need inhalers during the night, so the room must have been a lot damper than I had ever realised.
I have had larger dehumidifiers in the past, which have used a lot of electricity to run, but I genuinely see no major difference, I actually prefer having a smaller one.
It’s compact, easy to use and empty and more importantly, cheap to run. I have had it on constantly since I bought it. It does have a running noise, but nothing you can’t sleep too. In fact my little girl loves it as she says it reminds her of being on holiday (AC)!
Deffo recommended, I also got it on sale, but would totally buy at full price also.
It certainly takes the moisture out the air as have to empty a full reservoir every 3rd day, however the humidity reading in the room is still high.
This is an exceptional circumstance which will probably mean me buying a second machine to help cope with the humidity. I didn’t want to use anything too big or anything that consumed a lot of electricity. It’s not noisy and the ceo has contacted me by email with some tips on keeping it maintained and clean without me asking
