Safe way to let in fresh air while keeping intruders out.
Very easy to install and effectively restrict the amount that the window can open. The tether has a metal core that is very tough – it would require bolt cutters to remove. A key is supplied that makes it easy to undo the tether if you need to open the window fully. It gives peace of mind in this hot weather as windows can be left open without fear of intruders getting in. Also good in preventing small children from falling out of the window.

Does what is meant. Key has to be manipulated a bit in the lock but that probably stops children from unlocking.
Window won't open move than you want. Super sturdy!
Moved into a rental with NO window locks at all in the three children’s bedroom upstairs which opened all the way straight onto concrete. These came next day, put up in seconds and have tried all my might to open the window further than I’ve set it too and it hasn’t SO they are SUPER sturdy!

It does the job, I ended up using my own screws as the ones supplied were too long to screw into my pvc window frame
These are strong, can adjust fitting to your own preference. I have mine on every window so all can be slightly open so my house cats cannot get out as well as a deterrent for would be chancers. Also stops the strong wind swinging the windows open. They lock so are handy to stop kids climbing or falling out. I’d recommend.

Ho cambiato casa connumerose finestre.. Ottimo per chi come noi ha bimbi piccoli.. Si pu tenere aperto per areare.. Chiuso totalmente o semi chiuso in modo che anche con le finestre aperte il bimbo non pu passarci.. Ottimo davvero
just what i needed
I Use the window restrictors so i can have windows opened allowing my cats access but stopping anyone from getting in if i leave the room. just makes me feel secure.

Can’t believe it took me so long to buy these; we have lots of wide opening pvc windows on our first floor so just kept them completely locked all the time- these are easy to install and allow us to ventilate the house on hot days without worrying the kids are going to jump out the windows! Don’t look too obtrusive and very need finished appearance

But for the price, they are well worth it, and if you look at pictures of them connected it is not rocket science.
Brilliant for child safety!
I don’t normally review items I have bought, however, this is worth my time to explain how good these window latches are!
With windows that open wide, and no safety catches pre-installed, I was understandably concerned about the children’s safety.
I bought these catches to allow the windows upstairs to be left open during the day and night (especially in the hot weather) and they are simply brilliant!
The build quality is great, strong and durable. Removable key to lock them open is a fantastic feature – really pleased!

Do have old fashion windows which are so easy to open even for my baby.. so needed something to make it safe. These locks are so easy to install and now my kids are safe. Happy with a purchase

Quality control lacking but otherwise a good product.
I bought option B as it’s slightly longer and came with the right screws, option A has screws which are more suited to metal. And option B has better keys.
Anyhow, I had to secure my velux windows as my autistic son is large enough now that he could probably climb out. These are great in wood. Very sturdy, definitely use wall plugs though.
One of the 4 was broken and wouldn’t unlock on arrival so quality control is lacking so recommend trying them all before fitting them to the windows. I got a refund from Amazon for this. I luckily only needed 3.
Hopefully the 3 I fitted do not seize up and continue to work.

The window restrictions allow me to have some air onto all the rooms with no chance of them blowing open.

I got someone to put these on for me. He commented that they were good quality, well made and feel durable. . Each restrictor has a different lock & key which some buyers may not want. I’m going to tag them so I know which key fits which lock.

Perfect to secure my bungalow bedroom sash windows. Extremely easy to fit and work very well. My only problem was detaching the white plastic covering from the metal inserts which was very fiddly, but once done it was fitting was fine.

The products are excellent but do not come with instructions on how to install and use them. I had to look at Youtube short films to see how to fit them
That they are fit for purpose
The product arrived promptly on a Sunday I hasten to add. They were easy to fit from following a YouTube tutorial. I live in a bungalow and need to sleep with my bedroom windows open so used the restrictors to leave the windows ajar for fresh air.

Arrived on time and easy to fit onto my upvc window frames
Used for my very strong toddler who now likes to play the windows in our upstairs flat. I can finally leave him alone in a room without being terrified.
Some of our windows open on a horizontal axis and normally we can set them open a little, but in high wind they can swing wide open, and could have caused damage. But not any more. These window restrictors have provided a neat solution to the problem.
